4141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why do altcoins follow bitcoin? on: July 19, 2018, 07:45:40 AM
Why is it that the moment BTC starts to sway, the other coins follow suit. It would be hard for everyone to sell that much at the same time. It seems beyond just panic selling. They seemed to be directly linked. Inf-fact, BTC going down should increase and encourage altoins as they raise in value compared to BTC as it falls so why this uniform sell off? Something seems weird about that to me. Any real theories, or explanations?
That depends, which coin are you talking about? Not all altcoins follows Bitcoin when it is going up or down some of them don’t. It’s only all these major altcoins like ETH, BCH, LTC, Monero and XRP that usually follows the movement of Bitcoin up and down. Others will likely go down if Bitcoin is going up and still even go down when Bitcoin is going down lol. The only time you will see go up is when Bitcoin price is balanced.
4142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading on: July 19, 2018, 07:06:34 AM
I want to try daytrading because as I see, just buying something and holding is not profitable anymore. I am not new in crypto, however never tried daytrading.
I plan to begin with a very small amount at first for practice and then increase with time.
Can you please suggest platforms and coins for daytrading? I need a platform which has a good android app to trade from my smartphone.
There are lots of platforms to begin with just like Poloniex and Bittrex, even Bitfinex. But why take chances with your money when you can simply go and learn it? You shouldn’t be doing practice when you haven’t learnt anything, you practice what you learn and not what you never learn. So search for a way to learn day trading before you jump into it or have patience and continue with Hodling.
4143  Economy / Economics / Re: Making crypto succeed in the real world? on: July 18, 2018, 08:27:00 AM
I supposed if Telegram really launches its crypto, that will be a huge leap forward for the whole sphere as hundreds of millions of users will acquire a tool for extremely easy transfer of crypto inside a messenger and begin using it for everyday transactions.
In this modern world most of the countries are looking at the cryptocurrencies and especially towards the Bitcoin due to many reasons. Those countries where the Bitcoin is tax free and other crypto coins are also tax free their people are very happy and enjoying it. Investors consider it a golden opportunity to get success in this modern world and are appreciating crypto investment for making money.
4144  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: July 18, 2018, 07:54:34 AM
I suppose that this is possible, because of the simple reason. What develop next always become better than the thing that were being developed before. Like iPhone 6 is much better than iPhone 5.
I think there is no such currency which can compete with the Bitcoin and further more there is no such currency which we consider in comparison with the Bitcoin. Price of Bitcoin is very much higher than other cryptocurrencies and which are also valuable but this would need a lot of time for less valuable currencies to reach at even the lowest value of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is very successful and I think no there is nothing which can replace it.
4145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bad news for Bitcoin on: July 18, 2018, 07:24:46 AM
If the opinion of Robert Schiller is seriously taken into account by investors from around the world, it is simply because he was the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2013. But when it comes to talking about Bitcoin, man does not chew his words. He is not seized by the craze that surrounds crypto-currencies for several months now.
Mr Schiller believes that Bitcoin is a speculative bubble that will end up exploding, even if in itself this virtual currency should not disappear.
There has been countless of people not only Mr. Schiller who makes negative  remarks on bitcoin but look now?  Bitcoin is surviving and getting strong each year.
What bad news for the Bitcoin if there is nothing permanent here in the market? As we know that price of the Bitcoin is temporary which depends upon the demand rate of people for it. The value of Bitcoin will increase if there is an increase trend in the demand rate which will redirect the Bitcoin’s price in the increase trend and we all need this for the Bitcoin to follow the uptrend.
4146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin gone too much deep?? on: July 18, 2018, 06:55:26 AM
There are many factors involved in Bitcoin price rise or fall. The main factor is the supply and demand of it and the next factor is the whales. The whales always turn the market as per their wish and to earn their own profit and they sell or buy in bulk so there is major difference in price. We as a small investor need to be careful while buying and selling to whales.
The Bitcoin lowest value of this year is more than that of the previous year which means that Bitcoin is going on increase trend averagely and is improving. Besides this it also reflects that the highest value this year will be higher than that of the previous highest value as it is following increase trend averagely as noticed from previous data. So do not worries about the market just wait and focus where you benefit is so find out for yourself.
4147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the useful tips for beginners? on: July 17, 2018, 09:33:56 AM
Hello guys and gals , it is certain that the field of trading is very profitable, but regrettably, I have seen many beginners start in this area without any knowledge of the basics. In fact, this class always fails and lose a lot of money because of their hastiness or rashness.

So, according to my experience, I want to give some useful tips, and hope they will help everyone, and will be as the following :

1- Read and learn the basics of trading:

-I think the best way to start understanding this field  is by reading books related to digital currencies,  but unfortunately, the issue that many people  read only the first pages of the book, then they stop.

"The more that you read the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you'll go "
                                                                                                                                                            -Dr. Seuss
I suggest some books, and they will be as the following :
Cryptocurrency: Beginners Bible:

Mastering Bitcoin for Dummies:

Cryptocurrency Trading & Investing

-Learn how to analyze and deal with different situations ( pump, dump ..) in a smart way. Plus,  try to help yourself  with yourself, Do not complain and ask for help from the others, because no one is in your place. And even if you fail in the first attempts and lose a lot of money, then It is not the end of the world.
Believe me, learning from failed experiences will help you in order to improve your next choices, and you may start to gain a significant proportion of money.

2-Stay away from media news:

Media are always manipulating traders through some false news and even the social media (Twitter, Facebook..), They may even control what happens in the market (crisis, jump), in order to achieve the interests of some (the capitalists) and regrettably, many believe the information and fake predictions.
" Do not be a sheep and act like a wolf "

3- Be patience  and  try to be brave , not afraid:
The field of trading is profitable when you are patient and not hasty like many, and of course you must take advantage of the opportunities intelligently.
Fear is one of the most important obstacles that lead to losses, especially in difficult situations (big crash), like, panic selling...

IMO, Courage is by taking the risk, especially when there is an unexpected event (Big drop).
"Big risk, Big gain."

Cheers,  Grin

Quite a good tip, but for the number two, I would say it’s not so good. You can’t be advising someone to stay away from the media, rather you should advise them to not use one source for getting their news. There are medias that carries fake news around, so as there are medias that says the right thing. So try to rely on different sources and not only one source. Other tips are good and will help beginners a lot also.
4148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs. "leveraged" trading on: July 17, 2018, 08:58:04 AM
Gambling is basically either you will win or lose. In trading there is winning a bit, there is winning a lot,
there is losing a bit, there is losing a lot. I mean the chances are if you know how to trade than you will make good returns depending on your knowledge of the market. I feel like they are not even comparable. One is a job, the other is gambling. Trading is income of many people in our world (the crypto world) and they make a living of it, sometimes they win and sometimes they lose but if you are a good enough trader you end up on profit. Gambling is not a way to make a living.
4149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: July 17, 2018, 08:08:42 AM
There are both good and bad ones. I have seen people win big in gambling but I also saw those people lose more than they won because they tought it could happen again. They get enough money to just live off happily for years but instead they get in on it again thinking this time they can win enough to actually live amazingly for whole their lifes like 10k bitcoin or something and end up in minus and in debt. Fair warning, if you ever win in gambling (which is rare) than cash out and leave and don't look back.
4150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China plans closing Bitcoin mining. on: July 16, 2018, 10:12:56 AM
can we really trust Chinese government not to change their mind?
Chinese govt might or might not change their mind but if they do then the prices will be as stable as they are now but if they don’t there will be a sudden disturbance in the market and the supply to demand ratio might be affected and the prices can either rocket high or they may plunge back to 2k dollar mark, No one really knows what is to come so it will be better to keep fingers crossed and pray for the rise.
4151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: July 16, 2018, 09:42:22 AM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

I would argue depositing funds in a bank is even riskier. Why have everyone's private key stored centrally? Also Freebitco.ins 4% interest rate offer is very interesting, but seems a little Ponzi-ish to me. I really don't know too much about their site.
That site is actually a ponzi type to me they must have deposited the bitcoin of the users in some other places and now they are giving the profit to its depositors but the fact is they might indeed run away with our coins and indirect money and no one will be even able to stop them, if their investment fails our money will be vanished, the chances are pretty low but yeah things like that can actually happen.
4152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $10,000 to spend on: July 16, 2018, 09:11:51 AM
With such a large amount of money, you can invest in many different pennies, to reduce risk if you focus on a risky coin you will be very high.
This money could be rather be used to buy crypto having a very low risk attached. If we calculate the risk attached to the top five crypto in the market, we will come to know that those are the crypto that can give some good profits in the green market. Besides, having a diverse portfolio is also desirable because it is something that minimizes the risk attached to the assets.
4153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest on: July 16, 2018, 08:10:33 AM
What are you trying to do? trading or investing? Because i still did not get your point on the OP, better to increase your english skills before trying to join in here, because you wont learn anything after all. Better to invest in solid coins.

I am more apprehensive about investing than trading. The cost of investment has been reduced in the current market because it is red and it is most desirable to invest now rather than to hold or trade. Investment right now will give future benefits and will rather help earn big profits like people earned last December. Even in the current dip, rational investors have been holding the coins and not selling.
4154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who believes in HODLING? on: July 14, 2018, 11:15:16 AM
Hello people!

Was looking at CMC and was wondering few years down the line what we will be able to see in this list and how long it will be?

Reality is we are very early in this industry and the pace at which projects are coming up and the technology is changing does anyone believe in HODLING cryptos anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum?

I feel it's a buzz word used to create a FOMO effect
Hodling is good, but it’s also risky so you’ve got to be careful when holding any coin. You know that the price is always fluctuating up and down so you might lose money in it, especially when you’re investing in Bitcoin. Ethereum is quite different and the volatility isn’t much like Bitcoin, though I feel that much profit will come from Bitcoin when prices begins to go up.
4155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to start trading on: July 14, 2018, 10:48:05 AM
Okay so I don't really have any idea which coin is which and which of those are good to trade and which are not.
Since I am currently enrolled in yobit campaign, I figured maybe I can do something profitable with the coins that I get from the campaign so I thought maybe I can start trading.
Do you guys recommend yobit in trading altcoins?
Also what coins do you guys suggest I trade? I want profits and not loses so any tips you guys can give me are really appreciated.
Trading is a good source of profits but it is not that easy, if you're a newbie you better to do a proper research first for you to have a knowledge about trading and on how to distinguish a good coin that you can use for your trading.
It is not just starting trading. It is meeting the entire eligibilities to be a good trader. For that, you would need to be a good market observer and must have perfect knowledge about the technology. This will actually help you play the half game. The rest depends on the plan and strategy and that how much efficient you are in dealing with risk and future profit and the trade off between both.
4156  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will not perish on: July 14, 2018, 10:22:24 AM
I think that statement is too daring. We can never make statements in the cryptocurrency world with absolute certainty. Bitcoin can lose market acceptance at any time, but the blockchain is what I think will stay for a long time.
It is rather a redundant statement because every rational individual know it will not perish because it is wide spread across the globe and besides the fact that it is general acceptable, it has a high market cap as well which is what determine the life of an asset in the market so that for Bitcoin looks pretty long. As more and more countries accept Bitcoin, it will grow more.

4157  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversify Investments on: July 14, 2018, 09:54:47 AM
Invest in altcoins.. diversify up to atleast 3 coins.. thas it..
This is a different but suitable and efficient strategy. Actually if you are putting all of your eggs in one basket then things may be go wrong. What if that basket fall out and you are ending in your investment. Better to play a safe game. Divide your income and get a portion that is to be invested in crypto world. Divide it again and go for bitcoin and altcoin both. This is my favorite plan.
4158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is a better investment Bitcoin Or Ethereum, on: July 12, 2018, 09:46:41 AM
Hello Friends...

This is Newbie Here. I Just want to invest in Digital Currency. Anyone suggest me which is the best platform for long-term investment? How can I Invest Online?
I think you should invest in ICX or NEO. It is really very good altcoins and is always appreciated by experts. Many millionaires have said that NEO will be the biggest competitor to EOS and ETH in 2019. NEO's development is remarkable in 2018 and look forward to a good result from them.
Investing at the moment is a smart decision.
Ethereum and Bitcoin are tow valuable cryptocurrencies in the crypto market which are favorable for long term investment and a person with either Bitcoin or Ethereum can get make profit. Ethereum and Bitcoin both will payoff with maximum profit in high market once we buy in low markets on low price so our collections will decide our maximum profit in high markets.
4159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buy some, sell some, and hold some on: July 12, 2018, 08:25:36 AM
when you do trading, do you always think about this, "buy some, sell some, hold some."
That’s a normal strategy, but if you’re going to be doing it just make sure that you’re buying the Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency you’re buying at a cheaper rate and selling at higher rate. There is no difference between this and what we are already doing. It’s just like buying when the price is low and Hodling till it goes up so you can sell out with the profit you have made.
4160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: July 11, 2018, 09:55:46 AM
Concentrated investment also has benefits. You can get considerable benefits from an accurate choice, but the risk of concentrated investment is also obvious. Once this cryptocurrency keeps falling, you will lose all your investment funds!
Of course it has huge risk. In case of market crash, you might have to wait for long to recover the initial value and then approach to profit. In order to minimize risk, you should rather invest in multi coins. You should always have multiple choices to invest by doing research about the top profitable coins in the market. Check out the top five crypto in the market and the risk attached to them plus their returns as well and decide about the crypto to invest in.
