Tottenham - Ajax

I'm not betting a cent tonight, just sit watch the game, and have fun  Cool

Ι want Ajax to win as well. Due to the fact that Harry Kane is not gonna play tonight for sure and given that the condition and the recent performance of the team is not so good during the last games i think that the Spurs are going to play with a defensive style. And as Ajax is a full attacking team we are probably going to see an interesting match.
4142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What messenger do you use to chat with your crypto gambling buddies? on: April 30, 2019, 09:03:54 AM
I use Telegram for all my cryptocurrency conversations with groups and friends.
You can find also random people who discuss strategies and other stuff related to gambling. Discord is also a choice but it is not functionable on my smartphone so i prefer Telegram which is more mobile friendly to me.
4143  Economy / Economics / Re: Which industries don't need blockchain? on: April 30, 2019, 08:32:21 AM
It appears as though every company is trying to integrate the use of blockchain technology.

https://www.blockchain-council.org/blockchain/top-10-companies-that-have-already-adopted-blockchain/

Some might have legitimate reasons, others just for the hype and hell of it.

Are there any industries that can't benefit from using blockchain technology in their business practices? Where it doesn't matter?

I feel that every industry has benefits when implementing the blockchain technology.
This stems from the fact that this technology can be integrated in every or at least the most company's departments and make their work more efficient of reduce their costs. Maybe it has less application in industries that don't want automated processes and they rely more on customized products for their customers.
4144  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated: Guess who is Sicker? on: April 30, 2019, 08:01:04 AM
Vaccines have benefited the world from various diseases but we should not forget that vaccines contain bad organizations that cause flus and etc.
It is not fully healthy because an unknown element is introduced to your body, and every people' body has different reaction to that.
In general, vaccines can protect the world from epidemia but we should not overdo it with unnecessary injections.
4145  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you imagine ideal society? on: April 30, 2019, 07:26:08 AM
Ideal society would be no society. Where there would be no sense of belonging. There would be no countries and no citizenship. No people, just men and women.

That would be ideal but not real...
This way it can't work because someone will have to search for food or water and at least fulfill the basic needs of the people that live in this society.
From the time that there is a need, then the sense of belonging start to exist.

I agree with you that this would be the best society to live in, but it could be never true.
4146  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-29] Institutional Love For Crypto Confirms Bitcoin Isn’t a Bubble on: April 30, 2019, 07:06:35 AM
I think that institutions was denying all this time Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because they just wanted to "earn" some time in order to get involved in the ecosystem without anyone noticing, or to study the technologies and create their own chains.
Bitcoin isn't a bubble... It has sustained all these years in an environment that it is unclear and very offensive to this technology but still it is alive.
4147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 29, 2019, 07:07:53 PM
Yikes! What happened to that AC Milan that almost made it to 3rd place a few weeks ago? I think at this point, even if Gattuso manages to qualify the team for the next CL, he won't stay for another season, hell, I don't even know if he'll stay for the next game...

Torino slowly trying to also enter the top 4 race  Shocked And Atalanta with a win tomorrow will be just 3 pts behind 3rd place Inter. Crucial game for Atalanta, but also for Udinese who are fighting to not get relegated...Looking at the odds right now, Atalanta win is @1.37, too low for me, I might take the home win and BTTS @2.70, it's been a while since I put some bets in a Serie A game.

AC Milan is in avery bad situation right now. I have started to challenge Gattuso's management skills. I expect him to be fired as the team needs a better manager. I think that they will place out of the 5th position and they will have hard times going to the Europa League next season.

It's now a worse case scenario for them as Atalanta won against Udinese today, AC Milan are now down to 7th position, Their next game is also against Bologna who happened to be in better form with no lose in their last 4 games, If Ac Milan fail to secure all 3 points and hope others drop some points then can as well forget about European football next season.

I love Milan and I am an ardent fan of the team... I am partially happy that things have turned this way after Atalanta's win because now the management of the team will get that serious and see that something really doesn't go well. I hope they will recognize their problems early and they will make it to qualify to the Europa League, because this is the best for the European football as well.
4148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: April 29, 2019, 07:04:09 PM
anyone bet on arya to 'destroy' viserion? thats a win for yes ?

I don't know if anyone should ever bet for it... They will most probably bet for Jon Snow, Danny or the Dragons that would make that happen.
And personally, it was a surprise to me to see Arya killing him... I would never bet for it apparently!
4149  Other / Politics & Society / Re: About the corruption in our globe... on: April 29, 2019, 04:05:06 PM
You are missing Maduro in the darkest red (most corrupt) sample of your map...

PS: I hate this bs Mercator map projection, Brazil is actually larger than Greenland, when will people ever learn not to use it...

As a general picture, it is clear that we live in a corrupted world.
Red areas are outnumbering the yellow ones.
I expected to see more red spots in Africa region, because I have heard from people that they live there that they are living under corrupted governments that do not care about their citizens.
4150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Nerd money or not? on: April 29, 2019, 03:47:46 PM
I recently watched the movie Goosebumps 2 with my kids and Bitcoin was once again mentioned briefly in this movie. The one boy mentioned Bitcoin and the other boy called it Nerd money.  Roll Eyes <My kids turned to me and said, Are you a nerd?>

So it got me thinking, why would people label Bitcoin as Nerd money, when people use electronic payment options like PayPal every day? What feature about Bitcoin gives people this impression about Bitcoin?

The first thing that comes to mind is the technical IT knowledge that people need to understand the concept about this technology and also it's origin amongst very highly skilled programmers and developers in the IT industry.

I am definitely not a nerd, but I am more than willing to carry that label, if it means that Bitcoin should be part of my skill and knowledge set in this world.  Grin

Bitcoin Nerds will rule this world! <Bill Gates is 100% proof of that>

Bitcoin is considered as nerd money because the whole ecosystem is run in a protocol and algorithms are written from developers.
It is totally different from the traditional electronic payment systems that people are used to them.
And additionally, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general are used from people that are tech-savvy and they understand the technology behind bitcoin. Maybe this is the reason why they characterize it as nerd money.
4151  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can I SUE A Crypto Ponzi PROMOTER? on: April 29, 2019, 03:37:40 PM
Hi, I got convinced by someone to invest in what I now think is a Crypto Ponzi Scheme Platform that said it could earn 10%+ a month in ROI. The person who convinced me didn't own the platform/company, they were simply a "Referral Marketer" that used that platform's "Referral Link" as apart of their Referral Program. The person would gain 5% of my daily profits from the Platform for referring me.

The platform has locked my money in there (which is allowed according to their T&C) + my profits have dwindled to 1% a month.

---
I want to sue the person who referred me to this platform, but they think otherwise:

Their Argument

- They don't own the platform and are simply "affiliate marketers" for it by using the referral link

- They left the country and live elsewhere (but promoted this platform to me in my country)

My Argument

- They didn't have a financial services license (but Bitcoin in my country is not considered a financial product)

- They didn't have a registered company

Does this mean I could sue the person who referred me too? Or Could I only sue the company behind the actual ponzi platform?

Please let me know if I can sue this person + the costs, process, etc. And if it's worth it at all. I've invested $40,000 and my money is stuck on this platform.

I think that you can sue the person tha convinced you using his link and he got you involved in this ponzi scheme. If you have proof that this guy offered you financial advice without having any right to do so, they I think it is possible.

Can you let us know which is the platform that is a ponzi scam? It will be good to raise awareness.
And next time don't get overwhelmed by a guy who promises easy money. Most of the cases end up in a scam.
4152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price will reach $100 000 on: April 29, 2019, 03:22:28 PM
A few introductory remarks:

1. I’m starting this thread to demonstrate how analytical results correspond to what actually happens in the future.

2. I don’t know when Bitcoin will reach the $100 000 mark. BTC

3. What really matters is the resulting price/profit ratio, which is 20 to 1 at the current price of $5000 – even if BTC falls to 0 at some point along the way.

4. There are lots of reasons for why the BTC price will reach $100 000, ranging from being accepted as a means of payment to the features of the technology itself. I will cite only the main reason here.

The total amount of funds currently stored in offshore accounts is circa $20 trillion. This number will grow to $30 trillion to 10 years if nothing changes – meaning that people won’t suddenly stop embezzling money and evading taxes. At the same time, there is a tendency for a stricter control of offshore accounts, so it’s quite possible that the amount of funds there won’t reach $30 trillion.

What do people do with all that money? Trillions of dollars are just sitting there as dead weight. Their owners aren’t interesting in earning any profit – for the most part, their only objective is to keep that money. Why would they need any additional profit, anyway? Those people have enough saved for a hundred lifetimes, there’s no way they could spend it all.

So things were going great for them – until a certain point. More and more limitations are placed on offshore accounts, and more and more information about them keeps emerging. This is the worst fear of all embezzlers, tycoons, etc.

Crypto is the best answer, since it’s a way to store money in such a way that nobody will ever know about it or link it back to its owner (thanks to mixers etc.).

At the price of $5500 for 1 BTC, its market cap is about 100 billion dollars. If BTC goes up to $100 000, its market cap will reach $1.8 trillion – which is still 10 times less than the total amount stored in offshores now and 15 times less than what will be stored there in 10 years.

Very nice analysis but If you are unable to predict the time that this is going to happen then it is not valid to say something about the price.
The environment that cryptocurrencies exist is very vague right now and they can be vanished in a day if the governments decide to do so.
It is very nice to be possitive about the future but we should examine every factor first before saying something. Otherwise, you just push people to a FOMO situation.
4153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going steadily up, don't you think? on: April 29, 2019, 03:13:35 PM
Personally, I cannot say that we are in an upward or in a downward trend but I can say that we have created a strong resistance in 5k which is going to break very difficult.
Having said that, I expect to see the price going up in the future but after sometime that it will move around 5,5k and 6k. Then more people will see it as an opportunity to buy more due to this stabilization and then the price will possibly go up.
4154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 29, 2019, 02:56:58 PM
Many people think that Ajax will have an easy qualification because they have eliminated stronger teams than Tottenham like Real Madrid and Juventus. That may be true to a certain degree but I think that Tottenham has better chances to qualify. They didn't care much in their last game at home and lost to West Ham.This makes me think that all their focus is in the Champions League.

The defeat that happened to Tottenham from West Ham shows lack of concentration to me rather than a focus on the Champions League.
Ajax is a more aggressive team, full of young players who want to be noticed from scouters from big clubs so they will definitely give their best chances to win this game, thus they have better chances for qualifying.
4155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 29, 2019, 02:50:24 PM

Boston is looking really good and I think they will the team to come out of the East.
Kyrie Irving had an amazing performance yesterday but still I don't think that the whole team looks good.
It was more of Antetokoumpo's performance that let Celtics win. He was so outplayed and he could't reach his top of his performance and show that he is one of the best players in the NBA championship this year.
4156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 29, 2019, 09:10:12 AM
It was a beautiful race yesterday with a well deserved victory for Bottas.I think that this year will be limited to a fight within a single team , Mercedes. We have seen in these four races that Mercedes have 4 back to back wins and this shows that Ferrari and other teams are not up to the game of fighting for the title this year.

I wouldn't say it was a beautiful race... Till now, the races are kinda boring with no real challenges between the two best teams. Ferrari seems unable to compete Mercedes and it seems they have lost the championship already.
Bottas' win was well deserved and Leclerc could make an incrdible race as well... But Ferrari management destroyed him with their strategy.

4158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: April 29, 2019, 09:03:54 AM
Congrats to Barca, in addition to systematically securing the league trophy they managed to keep great atmosphere before CL matches with Liverpool and even Messi played only half a match so he should be rested a little bit. For me biggest addition to Barca game this season has been their newly found pragmatic side. Meaning they can now play boring big games and win from few chances they create (example, first match against United). In previous seasons they would just create wave after wave of attacks and often found themselves weak at the back.

I hope Barcelona will proceed to the Champions League games with the Champions' spirit and not get overwhelmed by the La Liga's celebrations.

Also, Real Madrid seems to be still unstable as they lost 1-0 from Rayo Vayecano. I want to see more passion from Real next season because they are a top class team and these defeats are unacceptable.
4159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 29, 2019, 08:59:51 AM
What a surprising result on Leicester vs Arsenal match, i can't believe Arsenal can't make a single goal on that match. Well that red card is really changed the game. For Man United vs Chelsea, good match, so many chances on both teams but the match ended with draw.

It is a gross seeing these teams that are top class teams in the Premier League and in the European football, loosing for consecutive matches.
Maybe the worst team of all those will get the 3rd position and not the best one.
4160  Economy / Lending / Re: Seeking Short Term Bitcoin Loan on: April 26, 2019, 04:35:59 PM
First of all, you should move this post to the "Lending" section.

In my opinion, noone would ever lend you 50BTC. Apart from the fact that you are a newbie account, you don't offer any collateral and you also don't define how "short" will be the period. Also you have to offer a good rate that you will pay when you payback.
