4141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 25, 2020, 05:10:47 AM
I don't support this so called stop loss feature but it's better to have that in place, it's for gambler's preference and option, some gamblers will use it, some will test it, but if a gambling site will use it it's better that they do a study first, they could lose money here, because they are stopping the flow of money from gamblers.
Actually the topic is miss-understood a bit because the question asked in OP is what would happen if you have a stop loss active on your account in a casino that supports such features and you continue to bet, what would happen.

I believe the bets won't be placed once you have reached the loss that was entered in the stop loss and you should probably get a message that alerts you about the stop loss being reached and asking you to come next later or change the settings you entered about the limit.

I don't think any casino has such feature but if any casino actually has such features would really like to know and try it.
4142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you verify every bet as a gambler? Provably Fair Guide. on: November 24, 2020, 08:15:31 PM
Most people like living off the edge thinking that a single varifier cannot dictate their winnings or losses when it can literally save you from unfair losses rigged by the server and the gambling site itself. Casinos do that thing where they check every game before letting people play it, why has it all of a sudden become "inconvenient" for you guys to verify the credibility of your bets.
Look I understand we should verify our bets but this is how I think. If a casino is actually rigging rolls they must be very selective with their rigging because if they rigged every roll on the website they will be caught within minutes. So if they are being selective and rigging rolls for users who they know make fast bets and probably don't verify then there is no chance they will rig my rolls because I make manual bets and I usually don't ever use autobet even when I am applying a strategy I use manual betting.

Also my bet size is small and it would be seriously idiotic of them to scam me for $5-10 and lose all their reputation they have built by spending so much money and probably paying out 1000x bigger bets than me.
4143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: November 24, 2020, 05:39:26 PM
making that kind of mistake again now will be too grave, i Hodl a whole lot of shit coins just following hypes and signals then some fake investors' comments also played a huge role in confusing us into buying into these projects. i look at those coins now and shudder, what was i thinking?
For sure holding shit coins is the worst feeling and looking back we always feel like why the duck we invested so much into these fake projects but while investing we were lost in the project and felt like it will be the next Bitcoin.

I don't think traders now will repeat the mistakes that happened in 2017. They have been learning to analyze for the past 3 years. Now, altseason is running, they may have made a large profit.
I am not an analyst by any means but if the market signals are to be trusted this bull run might continue for a long time and at least half way into the year 2021 we might be seeing this continue. But if you are too scared when price drops, you can sell now because nothing is guaranteed in this market.

2017 was a sudden growth but this time it has taken some serious time and I think the price is going to stick.
4144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who the Defi future of Cryptocurrency? on: November 24, 2020, 05:00:37 PM
A lot of people say praising the temporary hype and it can't last long. I don't know what to do. I am already reading several posts in blogs and mediums But I couldn't find anything about Defi's future.
Yep it was all a hype, but after the hype and when everything have cooled off, the stronger DeFi projects will still continue, although their prices wouldn’t be as high as it was during the hype. If you check all of them you will see that most of them have dropped more than fifty percent.

It’s at this time that we are going to know the ones that are really serious, because there are going to be those of them that will die off due to the hype is over, those are the ones that were just used to grab some money from investors, now they will all disappear and the genuine ones will continue to stay.
4145  Economy / Economics / Re: Different online business we can involve in on: November 23, 2020, 04:12:36 PM
Good points but I would like to tell you something from my own experience about it. Domain reseller is a great way of earning money and I have tried that in past but the problem you often come across is that you don't find enough buyers for even good domains.

Basically someone who doesn't know how domain reselling works is you buy good domains from market at cheaper price and then resell them for a better price to others but although this sounds simple it is not really that simple an straightforward because you have to pay the fees for the domain you keep yearly and if you cannot find enough buyers you will end up losing money like I did.
4146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 23, 2020, 03:36:56 PM
Yeah, Durant got paid even though he didn't play. Even when teams can go for salary exemption for players who close out a season, like what warriors did this year for Klay Thompson, they still have to pay the player the full salary, the difference is, they can remove a certain part of their salary from salary cap in order to get more players. So, they paid 41 million for Durant but got something like 11 or so millions of that removed from salary cap just for the looks, and probably didn't even used it for anything but tax exemption.

I am still waiting for this Harden news to hit, that would be something superb for Nets but it looks like Rockets are not willing to give Harden for small assets, they want something huge which I understand but it is also not cool to keep player who wants to leave as well.
4147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 23, 2020, 06:24:41 AM
For me, if i get the opportunity to win big on gambling; it will be the best moment for me. Biggest earners in the gambling world are the ones who have huge capital to gambling with; as huge funds help you to reduce risk and gamble more on possibilities and not probabilities.
You haven't won anything big yet? That is really unfortunate because although I am not a high roller but I have myself won some good amounts in past because I often roll at high odds and I remember I hit once.

What I did with my winnings? Well a sad story because I got greedy and although I withdrew my money but I slowly deposited everything back to the casino and lost it there.

peraventure that the gambling money is not much; its a good fund to enjoy the beach and have some beer lol
Not always because I have seen guys hitting 5 BTC jackpots and with that amount you can buy a car and have a royal lifestyle at least for an year if not more.
4148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 23, 2020, 04:55:26 AM
Stop loss are not going to work with any casino in this industry because multiple accounts are common and allowed so you can easily make a new account and bet there with as much as you want and as a gambler when you know this thing you can easily do that when you are desperate about betting.

You lose money, your stop loss prevents you from making more bets. You just logout and change IP and make another account, maybe even don't have to change IP either. This can only work when you have KYC restrictions and multi accounting is banned. One should have enough control over their gambling addiction that the website does not have to stop you from gambling, like hey man you have lost enough can you stop now please lmao.
4149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 22, 2020, 09:03:33 PM
Indeed everyone expected Ethereum and other altcoins to go up when Bitcoin was like it is today. But it isn't easy because many people are still focused on rising Bitcoin and investing there. This is not just the case with Ethereum. Most altcoins are not getting the high rise effect of the current Bitcoin situation. But today is good news because Ethereum has broken through $500
Actually all the coins also have a corresponding USD market as well so they maintain their value in the USD value instead of BTC. Because Bitcoins is a different crypto and when alts rise we never question why Bitcoin is not rising so it doesn't make sense foe the vice versa to stand true.

We can understand simple altcoins market still down because this time people want forced rising bitcoin price. So need compare 2017 because altcoins time will come soon after something stable in bitcoin price. Actually when bitcoin price go up and something down everyday then altcoins price growing so we need some patients.
Maybe once the daddy market (BTC) goes down the price for altcoins will rise but not sure if the daddy market is ever gonna stop if not slow down. By the way we don't need patients, we actually had many during the pandemic, you might want to say we all need some patience Grin.

The answer was came with the current pump in bitcoin and Ethereum. The bitcoin price had reached of 18k$+ and the Ethereum price crossed a new moon of 500$ again after a huge month gap.So if this continue,we can expected the price of bitcoin to the new moon of 20k$.
I believe $25k is coming soon and we might look to double that by the end of 2021, but still speculations so let us all wait and see how it goes.
4150  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 New Slots Weekly |🎰 New Providers Relax Gaming & Big Time Gaming on: November 22, 2020, 08:25:21 PM
My favorite is still Jammin Jars but that is because I have been addicted to it lately and haven't checked out the other ones. I am sure if I checked out other games I may find some that I really enjoy but in order to do that first I have to be able to stop playing Jammin Jars. All jokes aside I will probably try to find some other games very soon, it has been way too long since I checked any other game here, starting to feel like I am not going to chips.gg but more like going to jamminjars.gg so it is time for me to switch.

I would say that you guys have managed to build a casino that people could come without any worry in their mind about the casino itself and can gamble without any problems, the support and even lack of need for support because there is no problems makes this place what it is today.
4151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes to avoid when investing in Crypto on: November 22, 2020, 06:44:44 PM
And also keep in mind not to be interested in coins that have pumped high or Buy when their Coin Price is low after pumping high, I see that mostly applies to new Defi coins. I think anyone needs to be vigilant before putting their money into any project especially with the DEfi project.
You're right, DeFi's popularity could easily have disappeared. we can see a lot of tokens suddenly big dump when traded. it can happen for a long time and even make them continue to be at the bottom without getting up again. we must remain vigilant in investing in new projects.
Yeah, but sometimes you miss a chance in doubting yourself because I remember when YFI token first came into my knowledge the price was around $3k-$4k if I am not wrong and the time I spent in researching why it is going high every day it actually made me miss the opportunity because the value went too high by the time I was able to understand how they even work.

I think sometimes you have to go with the gut feeling and when the price is boosting, invest some, yes you might lose 7 out of 10 times but the 3 times you make the right investment you can easily 10x your investment which recovers all the losses you made in other coins and those 7 coins you are not going to lose 100% money so you can sell them for maybe 10-15% loss.
4152  Economy / Economics / Re: people stop complain about economy and ccovid on: November 22, 2020, 06:12:32 PM
We can't avoid the fact that this virus is still not contained for the most parts of the world. This is the reason why most governments are thinking of the second lockdown.
True and there is no effective vaccine found either so prevention is the only possible way to avoid the virus from spreading.

it depends on how vulnerable its people. Some can continue their businesses while others can't take the risk.
But the government cannot make different lockdown and rules for different people so they have to enforce the lockdown for everyone which is why everyone is suffering, some who could have worked are forced to follow lockdown. It can't be helped at all.

In these challenging times, we can't really depend on our government, we need to take care of our needs in order to survive this crisis. Look for options on how to address our basic necessities. Complaining will really not help our survival.
We cannot ever rely on the government for daily needs speaking in general so yeah we need to find work that suits these lockdowns and within our reach, the best way is to find some sort of work online like freelancing and just stick to it for the time being.
4153  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Jobs 2020 on: November 22, 2020, 04:38:26 PM
There are people in many professions who are spending their days in crisis due to lack of adequate work this is a great way to make money online investing in bitcoin and working in crypto will help them a lot if everything is closed and many people lose their jobs due to the epidemic. There is a lot of work to be done in crypto you have to learn the job by doing market analysis and you can make a lot of profit by investing in bitcoin as the crypto market improves many project companies are working on new methods.
Market analysis is a completely different thing because you need money to invest and trade at the same time there is a risk of losing money because even the best traders can have loss so you are no exception.

There is a supreme demand of blockchain developers so that is a highly regarded career option if you can learn and invest time to learn it.

nice article. Due to the pandemic crisis many lost their jobs maybe here is the first step for them to recognize cryptocurrency.
That is also the reason why BTC price is doing so good because people are now recognizing crypto more and more with time and it was about time that the price would go up. There are people who are good analysts and they earn money by selling market signals although I am not sure if any of them are to be trusted.
4154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: November 21, 2020, 09:22:53 PM
If anyone has small assets then it will better for him or her to trade with good knowledge. But remember one thing before going trade that you must have the proper knowledge about trading and need to give enough time to research. Then you will be able to make successful trade by which you can make able to increase your deposited funds very soon and then you can go for invest with a good amount of money. That's all about my thinking regarding this.
I would say one should actually decide based on the amount, if the amount is enough is enough for you to trade such that you can buy and sell coins and make profit then you must use the funds for trading. If the left over amount is so small that you cannot trade with it then better to find a project that looks promising and the coin value is cheap, invest all your small amount there and forget about it. By forgetting I mean don't check it's price daily maybe once a month is fine because you would want huge profits from that instead of selling it at a 10-20% profit.

It is a good question because often at times we trade and face losses and are left with small amount and unsure what to do with the money. Some would get frustrated and gamble it away but the smarter choice is to keep the head calm and either invest or if it is significant enough then start trading again with that.
4155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 21, 2020, 05:54:43 PM
Did you know guys that professional gamblers are more emotional compare to casual gamblers? But since their experience teaches them to become responsible gamblers, they understand what they are dealing with once they decided to continue more even they are currently losing.
Wasn't really aware that professional gamblers are more emotional than regular gamblers. I guess it teaches us that being emotional is fine as long as the emotions do not force us into making bets and take decisions which in a healthy state of mind we would have not taken.

I remember I was watching a NFL game and my team was losing so I got upset or maybe emotional and made a few extra bets on over/under market in hope of recovering the loss that was about to happen with the team loss. It ended up winning but I realized that indeed we make more bets than usual when emotional about a loss, but at the end I only deposit what I have no problem losing so I am always safe and in control.
4156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who actually moves the price of bitcoin? on: November 20, 2020, 06:56:51 PM
We do. Really it is not someone special that moves the price, when you buy bitcoin you move the price, when you sell bitcoin you move the price. Basically if you do it with small amount of money you do not move it that much yourself but enough of small movements make a big movement, or maybe one big buy/sell makes a bigger movement.
Sounds about right but I am curious that usually the buy and sell orders from normal traders should be normalized like the price would move almost to nothing after all the trades. Imagine 1k BTC being bought and sold throughout the day that means the price should not move. Then why do we see these drops periodically because I cannot think everyone suddenly dumps their Bitcoins like in March the price dropped and just kept dropping.

However it is certain that unless the whole market believes on a direction it will not get to a level and it would just stay there. Even if someone comes along with a billion dollars and buys bitcoin, it is not going to make a change unless market agrees to it, we could easily eat up that 1 billion dollars by all small fish selling theirs right away countering it. So, every single trade matters when it comes to moving the price.
I agree that as a trader everyone contributes but I always feel there are some other reasons behind the drop and lifting of the price because there is no way we average traders or even whales can cause such swings. Recently the lift might be because of the paypal news but that is the only reason I can think about.
4157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: November 20, 2020, 03:18:25 PM
The market situation can be low or high but your mindset up should be thought big. Because I believe that you have good knowledge and experience. Anyone really needs knowledge and patience. Without knowledge you can't make any single successful trade rather than you will lose your money. On the other hand, sometimes you have to wait more than you expect. So patience should behold regarding such situations.
But, patience should not mean waiting endlessly until the coin becomes dust and you can only look at it and laugh at yourself. As someone who has been into altcoin trading for years and collected many coins and invested into numerous projects I can confidently tell you that sometimes it is better to sell your assets at a lower price if the project has gone silent and there is no progress and the chances are bleak they will do something.

There was a time when I could have easily sold my assets and earned like 0.1 BTC without a doubt but I got greedy, waited too long and end up having to sell them at 1 satoshi and don't even know what those projects are doing now days. So patience is god with coins like BTC itself or maybe ETH but others you have to be careful if they are going down forever or just a routine drop as the dump and pump cycle happens with every other coin.
4158  Economy / Economics / Re: new central banks currenicies vs fiat currency? on: November 20, 2020, 12:04:57 PM
We don’t know who created Bitcoin, since that’s remained a secret from the start. But, we have seen so many theories about who the creator of Bitcoin is, and I have seen one that even linked it to the US government, saying that they are the ones behind it and that’s why they were pretty good at covering their tracks so that no one will find out who the creator was.

Anyway, it’s no longer a new thing that they are trying to make it centralized, though that’s only going to be possible through exchanges, but it still wouldn’t change cryptocurrencies from being decentralized, only the ones that are sent to exchanges will be traced.
4159  Economy / Economics / Re: usa dollar future on: November 20, 2020, 10:22:11 AM
Literally what you should invest into is something questionable because you may invest into something that would be awesome or you may invest into something that might be horrible as well, we really can't say whats going to happen with our investments but one thing is for sure, if you do not invest and just keep it in fiat form in some savings account or something you will end up losing the value of it and the money you have will not be capable of buying the same things it used to buy.
We shouldn’t even be investing our money and trusting only one asset, whether stocks, cryptocurrencies, or fiat can fall at anytime. So, we should always be prepared for anything by using the diversification method.

We should invest our money in different assets, you can invest in cryptocurrency and not just one, but different cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and some other good coins, and then invest in stocks like Gold, and invest in properties like land. I know some people who do this, and things like land is one of the most valuable assets where I live, and the worth keeps on increasing every time.
4160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will central banks create their own digital currencies? on: November 19, 2020, 06:43:50 AM
I think the creation of their own cryptocurrencies by central banks will be the driving force for the development of the crypto market.
There is certainly no better ad for the crypto market than the US and China releasing cryptocurrencies, then people will know more about cryptocurrencies and it will grow.
Yeah, but it is hard to imagine central banks issuing their own crypto because again the problem with crypto is that people can indulge in activities like money laundering and drugs and since the crypto are not traceable they cannot be caught, so it would be a case of government aiding illegal activities. In case they make it traceable and centralized then there is no use of making a crypto like that because it kills the basic purpose.

I am not sure what the basic logic is for them creating a crypto of their own just to bring digitalization? Then they can easily make their own payment processor like Paypal and I am actually quite sure they have one already. I am not saying crypto are useless but all I am saying is that not everywhere we can force crypto.
