4141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [SPECULATION] Next big thing in online gambling? on: December 31, 2015, 07:56:21 AM

There not much gambling ideas nowadays as all has been done. but maybe developers should at least consider looking at gambler vs gambler website to which the house just act as an escrow and will only take certain amount as fees.  I really do hope someone will create such site, I belive I have mentioned this before as I don't want to bet on odds.
4142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: December 31, 2015, 05:12:09 AM
Every gambling site is always have a winner and a loser. Gambling site will never get much profit as I can say because their money except bankroll is actually your money that lose there so when there are some winner he is just using loser money to pay winner. Thats all. It is just simple as that. So if they keep on open a new site, there is a higher chance that they will keep getting profit

It doesn't work that was as far as I know. Gambling sites earn through the fees per game and transactions. If for instance you win the money pot, they'll get certain amount from it that is just too small you won't even notice Smiley but then its the volume that counts. lets say they just get about 0.0001 per game. but how many games occurring everyday? hundreads? thousands?
4143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: December 31, 2015, 05:04:43 AM
Whenever i gamble i put a daily limit on my money.
F.e. I will never spend more then 0.1 BTC per day. This way i am sure i won't lose all my money.

But 0.1 bitcoin must be a big money for me. If you have 0.1BTC daily limit means, I guess you will loose the this amount of money every day. That is too danger. You will continue over gambling like with the thought of your not losing big money every day.
I would like to know how many days you are ending up your day in gambling with profits.

Yes indeed that 0.1 btc is a huge amount but I don't think he will keep losing everyday right? Btw he only say about the lose limit and we dont know how much will he get before he quit it. He is really controlling about his money to put on gambling

You wouldn't earn much with just 0.1 btc and if you lose consecutive days while you depend to the btcs you received through your signature campaign, you'll eventually lose everything as you are like participating the campaign for free. what you should limit instead is the number of games to play as you can tell whether its your lucky day or not after just several roll on dice.
4144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What skill sets should non-professional BTC-ers try to acquire? on: December 30, 2015, 04:46:37 PM
not sure if there are lots to learn about btc unless you wanted to do an industrial bitcoin mining company to which you may need to learn hashes, scripts, Splitting and Sharing Keys and etc.

But consider web development course if you were to make a career in btc and create an eCommerce site with bitcoin option and learn internet marketing/SEO skills.
or maybe a gambling site as well.
4145  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to create a forum from scratch ? on: December 30, 2015, 04:19:37 PM

try mybb script or xenforo. I recommend xenforo.

I have created a forum from the past and still exist up to now, I sold one of my forum and the other still is active. I paid a lot for the contents of it but if you don't want to pay for the contents, you may wanna try postloop.com. It works if there are users there who would be interested, i've seen some crypto forum on postloop years ago. maybe you can try there as well.
4146  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: betcoin.tm is a scam site , cleared my account to 0, 2.88 BTC lost on: December 30, 2015, 03:47:40 PM
If the withdrawal was cancelled then someone from betcoin.tm did it, else it should appear like there is a pending transaction. I could be wrong but i see it must be because their system is faulty?
I believe they're still new and beta tester didn't see this errors.

4147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mentioned in famous youtuber video!!! on: December 30, 2015, 03:31:06 PM
I do hope he had the influence.

A headline news on washingtonpost might just get noticed by a thousand taht will have interested to btc but with less than 10K, I'm not sure if it can convince anyone to join the btc community.
If masterp's scamming can be on the front page, it might just attract users to read how he scammed thousands. Assuming he really did it.
4148  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to get celebrities gambling? on: December 30, 2015, 01:43:13 PM
social media marketing companies does set up fake accounts of celebrities to make buzz of their sites and bragging that celebs are using their accounts, it sometimes work as fans would check which site. Maybe you can do this too. Maybe some site had done this too that made then known.
4149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should i buy my first whole bitcoin on: December 30, 2015, 10:54:50 AM
Thanks for all the advice guys.

I have savings and 450 bucks isn't too much to forget about I'm prepared to take the risk.

I'm thinking it might be a good investment in say 5 - 10 years ?

Fuck it, do it  Wink
If it goes to $1m then you'll be a guru and if it goes to shit you can look back and laugh.

Thankyou all for the advice,
Just purchased it and do not plan to sell for years to come.

congrats! Its the only way you get to be into bitcoins. you're lucky to have more cash yourself as I depend on giveaways when i started with bitcoins and soon after having few coins in my wallets, thats when i get to really like btc and started searching how i can use the amount in my wallet. Later find myself responding to threads here.
4150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How could I explain easily to someone that know nothing about Bitcoin what it is ? on: December 30, 2015, 10:46:20 AM
Tell them its what online people use these days to buy stuff on shopping sites and that bitcoin is the future money so they better get into it else they'd be left behind lol.
Tell them bitcoin is going to be more valuable later said by the men of the future.

So if they want to get their life easier while also investing, let them sign up for an online wallet for now, maybe blockchain and send them few coins to start with.
4151  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 30, 2015, 10:26:17 AM
This has become one of the major scam thread here in btctalk.

It's a fucking shame too. I sell here, without fee's to pay except btc transaction fees but that ain't nothing. bitcointalk is a great place too, it's being buried with scammers since day one.

This shit here boils my blood.

It always happen even on some forum where there is a market place. I was scammed with 2200usd on digitalpoint and warriorforum when i was hired as virtual assistant only to find out, I was caught in the middle where and my employer dispute the sent money on paypal while people send via western union. scammers are everywhere so nowhere else is safer. and its only the user can save himself.

masterp must have reasons.

edited: just checking above me is a responce from him.

4152  Economy / Gambling / Re: E-sports under one thread on: December 30, 2015, 08:45:16 AM
I don't understand, you will be using this thread to provide tips for E-Sports?
I like e-sports but I never bet on any events, I just watch some of them, from the games I play. But I would sure like to see the E-Sport market improve. It would bring more "fun" to the games, and they sure deserve it.

I don't see e-sports becoming huge as of now. Its the traditional way of gambling still, people like to bet on the real live NBA, baseball or boxing or MMA. If bitcoin will be known to those who are really into sports betting, they sure going to be betting on the bitcoin gambling sites.

directbet and bitcoin gambling sites should reach out those Mexicans who are into boxing.
4153  Economy / Gambling / Re: Worst/Best Betting Mistake Made By You? on: December 30, 2015, 06:34:13 AM
Hey guys, id just like to know what all of our worst ever betting mistakes are. Mine personally was not very big, but was a huge affect on me as a bitcoin newbie, as I only had 0.1. I went to bet that 0.1 on Magicaldice, but instead of gambling 0.1 on a 90% soon chance, I bet the same on a 9% win chance.

Surprisingly, I won. I had gathered that 0.1 from faucets and gambling on freebitco.in. (even with their 5% house edge)

Its your lucky day. Very rare to happen and I doubt that you can do that again. I did made same mistake when I was learning the dice game and surely it really was a mistake.
I have countless mistake on dice especially when using the auto betting. I have never won a really big amount and so I figured its not the kind of game that will give me a win.
4154  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User: funkydog - Took $200 BTC and bailed! on: December 30, 2015, 03:53:02 AM
Why in the world didn't you check trust first before trading? You can't do anything now except to be cautious next time.

Shame on him. he turned out to be a scammer for just $200, If ever I get to scam people, I probably would do it with about 500K+ USD.
Its not about not getting caught, it about shame for yourself scamming for such a small amount. But i suspect returning that $200 is much more than losing a meal.
4155  Economy / Gambling / Re: Asking the big rollers: Where do you get the money from? on: December 29, 2015, 06:15:06 PM
Early Adopter probably, they use to giveaway back then just like the new coins that's been spurting these days, they gave away thousands of coins.  I remember a thread where someone bought a pizza for 10K btc.

I use to have 150K STRs when they gave it away.
If STR is worth a dollar, I could still have thousands of USD to my wallet. I will recover my wallet password later once its value get super high.

4156  Economy / Gambling / Re: [POLL] Best Dice of 2015 on: December 29, 2015, 05:08:43 PM
Why is FastDice not in the list?

I assume its because of their interface lol, I get use to it after few try though. I do believe fastdice should be in the list at least, for the record, they live up to its name, it really load fast.
Not that I combatantly promote it in this thread but its because I'm telling the truth Smiley
4157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: December 29, 2015, 04:18:00 PM
You just have to choose which game to stick so you won't loose in the long run. Sports betting seem to be a better path than establishing a poker pro career. Lets say in a horse or dog race, you will have higher chance of winning when you get to know a horse or if you yourself took care of this horse or dog. Anyone heard of cock fight derby?  I like betting on cock fight if its my cock lol. My father use to have a lot of these that he bought from another island and was taken care with food supplements and trained these chickens to fight and fly higher than the usual.
4158  Economy / Gambling / Re: [UFC 195 Prediction] Carlos CONDIT vs Robbie LAWLER [ January 2, 2016] on: December 29, 2015, 01:38:27 PM
Both don't have good records really. but I would go for Lawler, he's much cautious and with better knock out power.
KANEHARA vs MCDONALD is a much better match to watch actually -- The cowboy is fun to watch, he do look like someone who can't fight but really he does the unexpected and can knock out MMA legends.
4159  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [List] Bitcoin Advertising Networks on: December 29, 2015, 08:04:55 AM

Gambling sites seem to prefer signature campaign here in btctalk than using the networks. maybe they don't receive much traffic from them.
I don't see much ads of them on bitcoin blogs except those who are providing services like bitcoin credit cards. I sometimes see adult sites as they prefer anonymous advertising rather than those adnetworks who asks for card ID and info when getting into the network.

4160  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragons.tl: Manhandle a Cow and Earn 8.8 Bitcoin on: December 29, 2015, 07:50:19 AM
LOL Only in a virtual world you could win so much by handling a cow. I keep seeing posts about that game these last few days. Are they investing more in the game? The last one was about getting coins after drinking at a bar.
Do you play this game? Do you need to invest much to try to get some profit (like time investment and coin investment)?

They are more like investing more on trying to promote the game through their news section Smiley  I do think the game is fun and can indeed make users win up to 8.8 btc. But yeah a blog posts like that can sure entice users to play it. They should update their wiki though.
