4141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to know your opinion :) on: September 15, 2019, 04:27:00 PM
I saw the topic of this project and here is their site https://whitebit.com, has someone already used it? can I trade there, I see what you think?

While gathering users review here in the forum, also spend time making a self-research about what site checkers and analyzers has something to say about this site. They are the most updated ones so checking them is a big help.

Now, if you only find a few reviews then don't use the site for now even you saw some positive review. If their service is good and legit, expect more reviews on the following days, weeks or months.
4142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 15, 2019, 03:37:49 PM
Congrats to Team Spain for winning the 2019 FIBA World Cup Championship!

Until now I still don't believe that Spain has defeated Argentina,

Spain is the favorite and much more have good players compared to Argentina. There's no surprise on the result so don't think of that too much.

I also bet on Argentina but I understand the risk. In case of a lose, no butthurt.

Just want to see if they will make an another upset again like what they did in their past games so I put some money.
4143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Have An Exit Plan In Playing Gamble? on: September 15, 2019, 03:16:56 PM
But honestly do you have an exit plan or the right time for you, that you are you going to leave gambling, not a week or a month but permanently, or you are going to stay and die gambling?

How will you limit yourself if you feel lucky and almost wins? Will you just stop and follow your supposed exit plan?

There's no such thing as that in gambler's mindset.

They will just stop once they got to lose, they got broke, they got wrecked.
4144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will There Comes A Time That All Online Gambling Sites Are CryptoCurrency Based? on: September 14, 2019, 01:44:36 AM
Anonymity and popularity of Cryptocurrency are two of it's the best attraction.
And Cryptocurrency games are more transparent.
Will, there comes a time that all online gambling sites will be Cryptocurrency based?

Why it should be? Bitcoin adoption will never take place in the whole world even how positive people are. Gambling is everywhere. Lots of countries will not lift their ban into cryptocurrency for at least decades or more from now. Gambling can consider as money-making scheme even for a government, therefore, fiat-based gambling will last a lifetime.

Just enjoy the current status of crypto gambling and don't mind the unrealistic thing to happen which is all online gambling sites will be crypto-based.

4146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is the name of a cryptocurrency project? on: September 14, 2019, 01:04:42 AM
Just wanted to get your thoughts on this matter. Can the name of a project provide significant benefit or detriment to a project if it is appropriate/unappropriate or unattractive/attractive -sounding?
I am not sure how much of an impact it has.

You do not want to invest in Pokemon Coin, Digimon Coin, Dragon Ball Coin right?

Giving a coin a good name is a basic thing. How can they be trusted with our money if that's giving a good and simple name can be given a serious approach?

Maybe in the past it will work but today it won't especially there are lots of scam projects now.
4147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My simulations for testing Martingale strategy on: September 14, 2019, 12:43:57 AM
What's the purpose of this test? To prove that martingale can be profitable?

We can make a profit by this method but still all depends on our luck whatever strategy applied.

Starting from first bet, it all relies on luck, therefore, this test just draws your betting history.

I'm going with France and Australia now, small bet on Australia.
I much prefer now betting w/out handicap, I'm rekt from  my previous bets with handicap, those odds is really tempting but the risk is pretty awful, lol..
Goodluck again  Cheesy

This is what I meant once you put money on France Moneyline even they have the higher chances to win, in case of a win, low returns, in case of a lose, much hurtful.

But your money on Australia fights till the end.

I will pass on today's match and will put my money on the last round, the finals.
4149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 13, 2019, 11:37:34 PM
What they need is an consistent outside shooter, joe's game is more of an inside offense, and we already have Blake in that position which he can do well, and we have Drummond to score in the paint and take care of the rebounds.

In the line up next season, https://www.lineups.com/nba/lineups/detroit-pistons, I don't see a real good shooter here.
But I like the new addition of players, like Derrick Rose and Thon Maker, the rest if there's new, I just don't know them.

Who doesn't want a consistent outside shooter on their team? Detroit Pistons are done now on roster lineup to the point that they signed a late deal to a veteran instead of another. Maybe the deal wasn't a plan.

No need to put high expectations from him as he is not the same as before but as a veteran and we all know that Detroit Pistons doesn't have any progress for several seasons now, I see this veteran as a good addition. He is even way more good compared to their other bench players.

France might have the advantage against Argentina but @1.3 odds, it's more painful to lose here if ever they will be upset compare losing while betting on Argentina since we already know the risks betting for thid team unlike in France that you are comfortable to win no matter what. Because of that, I will not place a bet on ML for this match.

About Australia, sure you have chances with that high odds. Australia vs Spain is unpredictable.
4151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Has Many Gambling Supporters (State Your Opinion) on: September 09, 2019, 11:59:02 PM
But the other surprising is boxing is not on the top 10 list of the image, but that is okay. I think it is hard to compete with soccer as many people are always waiting for the next match because they are curious about which team will be the winner.

The stats are based on the amount of money circulates in gambling on those sports.

Boxing is not included because matches are not regular. In a span of a year, I think only 3-5 big events happen or maybe even lower than 3. That's why even one event is sold out and gained lots of revenue, it can't match the whole amount involves in soccer or other sports.
4152  Other / Meta / Re: Multi-posts in multi ANN topics to advertise new platforms. Is it acceptable ? on: September 09, 2019, 11:39:04 PM

Not browsing much on that section but for better insights, can you give some examples?

But yeah, spreading post about that project either by creating separate ANN threads at the various sections or spreading post about it on other's thread is a form of spam.
4153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 09, 2019, 11:07:13 PM
Now to Wade, he is now 37. In today's NBA, I doubt there is a team that will still sign him just because he is good and still in shape.
It's is just a number, if he can still play and contribute to the team, he can still get a team to sign him.
Look at Vince Carter, he was still re-signed by the hawks for the coming season, and he will is already 42 years, way older than wade, and he is the oldest active player in the NBA now, and I also think Wade is still better than him.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/hawks/2019/08/05/vince-carter-signing-atlanta-hawks/1929465001/

After a year-long recognitions, tributes by every team, showing highlights video across every arena, swapping jerseys, future retirement of his jersey numbers, special hugs, teary moments, All-Star specials, etc. much better if Dwayne Wade preserved his legacy instead. If he plans to make a comeback it should be now and then and not as 39 or 40 etc.

And compare him to Carter? Wade is a future Hall of Famer. Coming back from retirement at the age between 39-42 is not an appropriate thing to do. Like I said above if he will make a comeback he will just be a bench warmer. A comeback on a bench? lol. Look at Jordan, still a starter when he came back at 38 after 3 years of retirement. Since he is part of the Wizards franchise, he plays a big role there.

If people want him to come back then it should be now. He still has that power. But a year later or 2 he will surely slow down and will end up retiring the same to what will happen to Vince Carter. We don't want to retire Wade like that.
4154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Marketing And Religion on: September 09, 2019, 10:33:44 PM
As we know that Gambling is prohibited in certain religions including Islam. If anyone does it, the earned money is not legal and is considered Sin.

But what if someone is promoting a gambling site on social media etc, will the money earned from it be legal provided he will never directly gamble ?

You mean a Muslim promoting a gambling site?

In the first place, they will not do that. Since it involves Gambling, no way they will promote it. Islam is so strict that you will not think of doing what's not written in their Koran. But like in other religions, there are persons who like to work against what written in the book but it doesn't mean they aren't following it. Maybe in needs of money etc. like the usual scene in our community.
4155  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin ATM Operators in Nevada Requires License to Operate on: September 09, 2019, 10:12:05 PM
The regulator's statement implies that even Bitcoin ATM operators are required to get their licenses before they can legally operate.

Of course, it's a business. There is no exception to that even for Bitcoin operators. They need to be registered and follow the regulations.

Bitcoin ATM involves money. No way the government will just allow to install it somewhere without knowledge. Aside from it's useful, it can be used too illegally. For those who are against here, they are not looking on a big picture and will just stand to their beliefs that bitcoin should never be regulated.
4156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about WhiteBit exchange? on: September 09, 2019, 09:28:58 PM
What do you think about WhiteBit exchange?  please share your experience - is it  secure? I heard 96% of all assets are stored on cold wallets.

The majority got no experience on that exchange because of the obvious fact that it doesn't establish a good community. Why risks after all. And even they do, how can their users confirm nor knows if that 96% of all assets of that exchange is stored in cold wallets?

If you consider using that exchange because of their security then why not just choose the famous ones. And besides, we don't have much that info on exchange. Better be safe.
4157  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to spot a scam - Bojoko article on: September 09, 2019, 09:02:34 PM

1) Used our common sense to determine if the gambling site is trustworthy or not.

2) Choose only the sites that already trusted by the community.

Even on regulated, licensed and trusted gambling sites, we can't erase the fact that they will not be a scam someday. But we can bet that they will not turn out like that since they don't want to waste the reputation they built or else, they will face the wrath of the law.
4158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 09, 2019, 08:07:31 PM
He is not done yet.

He is not done yet, he can still play if he wants too because for sure there are teams that will be interested to get him.
In his last season in the NBA, he played well although his points average has decrease but there are games where he take over and win the game for his team.

The kind of leadership that he has is a good one, even better than Lebron because he is one of the clutch player in the NBA who have a high IQ in basketball. If you will ask me, I would love to see him play, I don't know if I will like to see him playing with Bron.

He can still play but for me, he should already rest. In the past, Jordan came out of retirement and back to the NBA at the age of 38. Not that he is still in good shape but he is also a part of Washington Wizards franchise. Coming back will boost Wizards sale and it did. Tickets are sold out most of the time throughout the whole season even they are not even close in getting a playoffs spot. That's one of the reason aside from he miss playing basketball, he was challenged (Bryant's story) and donating all of his salaries into 9/11 attacks.

Now to Wade, he is now 37. In today's NBA, I doubt there is a team that will still sign him just because he is good and still in shape. NBA today is more of a business and rebuilding with young cores. And if let's say he will come back, he is 100% a bench warmer. It will give dirt to his legacy if he will just come back accepting a bench role just to play.  I want to see Wade play again but it's better if he will stay retired.
4159  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project Builders Needed on: September 09, 2019, 07:32:48 PM
Thanks for the information. Any ICO advisor and youtube influencers can PM for more information about the project.

I doubt most of the "legit" ICO advisors and Youtube influencers are lurking here. And besides, clients should be the one approaching and not them approaching you since they already influencers and not a new one.

Might want to try to contact them directly. Contact information can be found at their respective pages, if any, or thru YT channels.
4160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 08, 2019, 11:58:38 PM
Who's a fan of Dwayne Wade and Lebron at the same time? these two really has a close bond together.

--> https://www.nba.com/article/2019/09/08/dwyane-wade-los-angeles-work-out-train-lebron-james?collection=news

And aside from they are really close as a friend, Wade moved to Los Angeles that's why he can be involved to LBJ whenever he likes.

But I'm more concern about this:

Quote
While Wade says he's "done" playing professional basketball, his trainer is making him stay in shape, "just in case something happens."

"I’m going to stay in shape because you never know," Wade said. "Never say never.”

He is not done yet.
