Hoping in a better 2022.
Scudetto: a new hope? Juve aren't out of the race although the bad results they had in the past and it will all depends from its results in the first place. They have to win every remaining game and wait for the others to lose eventually and Atalanta started this with a draw against Genoa, oh boy...

Sevilla has been just fine this season (not great). I believe that the reason they're in second place so far is because other teams like Atlético and Barcelona have been very mediocre at best this season and that has allow sevilla to take second spot despite losing twice and having 5 draws. So yeah, they weren't at their best today against Barcelona and the red card in the second half made it even worst. I had expected Barcelona to capitalize on the red card and win La Liga teams overall performance nowadays are different from the past for sure and as you pointed out Sevilla wouldn't be second if Barcelona and ATM performed as they did in their peak. Honestly except Real Madrid (partially also), the other teams are way out of their form and Barcelona is the most affected imo.. They just did a favour for Real Madrid by letting Sevilla lose 2 points. A perfect result for RM and bad one for both Sevilla and Barca.

Yeah I read that and I remember even Klopp said something similar in the past. Since there is money in, I doubt anything will change. Liverpool will play tomorrow vs Leicester in Quarter final of EFL Cup then Sunday vs Leeds then they will face Leicester again next Tuesday before facing Chelsea Sunday after. Basically 4 games in 12 days which is very frustrating considering the actual surge of the pandemic situation...

Levante just continue to help us watch great games for two weeks in the La Liga. Both of their games ended with a 4-3 result. Levante lost to Espanyol and Valencia with the same result and these could have been the biggest opportunities for them to get even two wins in a row. I still appreciate Levante's high effort on these weeks. At least, they are not giving up and trying to make it.
With 7 points required to get out of the relegation zone, they have to do their best although I didn't expect them to compete Valencia that way and score 3 goals after all. Tomorrow we have Sevilla - Barcelona with quite interesting odds 2.5 for home and 2.95 for Barca. Right now I am not sure Real Madrid fans will support which team

According to Bild, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed that Real Madrid are highly interested in signing Erling Haaland. The 21-year-old striker has had a great performance so far in the season. He is one of the numbered young strikers who have been performing like a very experienced one. Wherever he goes, I'm one hundred percent sure that he would make a very great contribution to that team. Real Madrid really want to get Mbappe and him both and we will see if they will succeed. https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/fussball/bvb-boss-watzke-dreckspiel-unwuerdig-frust-ausbruch-im-tv-78587220.bild.htmlSince he has a release clause the price is not so high, it will be probably around 120m with fees and for a player like him is a good price. Signing him will be possible especially if they will be able to get Mbappe for free but the wages in Real Madrid gonna be a bit high. Better to sign them for quite long period to forget about attack line.

They finally made their certain decision about the Tottenham - Rennes game. And they awarded Rennes a 3-0 victory. Maybe people will criticize this decision a lot as the game could have been played on a date before the next round. And I'm also criticizing them. But maybe according to the rules, this was the right call at this point. The plus side for Tottenham is that they can focus more on the Premier League now. Spurs were able to confirm their dominance since the first games but they failed to do it. Although things seems to be better now for the team after Conte joining them but I think it would be better to focus on a better ranking in EPL first of all to guarantee at least EL spot next season. I think CL spot isn't an easy task for them.

That's just nonsense to be honest. Literally no other club in Ligue 1 could afford to sign even Neymar alone. How are you going to compete with Neymar, Messi, Mbappe, Di Maria, Donnaruma, etc. if you don't even have 1/10th of the money that PSG has available?
How could you compete with PSG while its competitors are failing vs weak teams? For example: OM missis points vs Metz, Brest and Angers... Rennes won vs PSG while losing 2 points vs Troyes and Bordeaux and getting a defeat vs Angers and Reims. Nice got a draw vs PSG and lost points against Metz and Troyes... Of course this is football and there is ups and downs. Even the great Bayern loses points vs weaker teams but wasting 14 points in 17 games won't make you dream of the title... You should win 100% of your games vs weak teams, you should win most of your games vs top teams then we could blame money for the rest.. but wasting randomly points then blaming money for that is simply nonsense! Last season Lille was able to win the title with Neymar, Di Maria, Mbappe and Navas in PSG. Messi isn't doing extraordinary things here. Dunno if you understand what I meant. Blame the money when you build a winner team and lose the title because the other team is always winning.

Although I'm not a fan of AC Milan, I really wanted AC Milan to win this match. Napoli won the match, increasing Inter Milan's points gap from the second team in the points table. Inter Milan are 4 points ahead of Napoli and AC Milan. If AC Milan had won the match, there would have been only 1 point difference between Inter Milan and AC Milan. However, if AC Milan wants to go further in the title race, they will have to win against Inter in February.
There will be more games to play in the next year and this gap isn't solid at all comparing to Bayern in Bundesliga and PSG in Ligue 1. Serie A is getting more interesting with the top 4 close to each other while the rest aren't very far from them so the ranking might change in every round. Last round this year will start tomorrow and I don't see any exceptional game. I think everyone is just waiting for a surprise somewhere.

Outsiders Levante will play Valencia tonight... The statistics of the encounters do not show a big advantage for Valencia, but I think the visitors can win tonight! I've heard that Levante are missing key players... For some reason the bookmakers are giving the same high odds to win - about 2.8... I think I'll take my chances and bet on Valencia to win! I didn't pay attention to these odds but I find it weird. Stake is showing 2.55 for Valencia and 2.85 for Levante which is a close gap imo between a team that didn't lose in the last 5 games and a team that didn't win any game so far. Dunno if I am missing a red flag somewhere but even Valencia or draw is attractive @1.44

After arrival of Conte few good things happening for Tottenham, and now they are playing with new energy which is alarming for few teams which are fighting hard for remaining spot for Champions League as top 3 already booked. This new fight will increase some good entertainment, but now Covid-19 is very serious issue because if authorities unable to control this then surely we are heading for another suspension or delay. They need some stick rules and if they want then matches behind closed doors are also OK because fans need continuation of this League instead of suspension or delay.
There will not be suspension as the previous season but delaying few games is possible unless everyone got sick at the same time. Conte joining the team was associated with an improvement of the results of Spurs but I assume that resting more than the other teams, since Spurs didn't play in the last two rounds, could have an impact also. Kane and Son scoring at the same match was kinda rare these days also. So far their games up to mid-January are quite easy then they will face Arsenal and Chelsea so until then we cannot judge Conte effect imo.

Milan - Napolihttps://i.imgur.com/MCJry3V.pngI made a bet based on luck, I thought: "Today I'll bet as if I were playing the lottery" and I bet on napoli, the chances of napoli winning are very small, it's like the bookmakers consider napoli a team extremely weak and without any chance of winning, I say this by the odd. The leaderboard right now looks interesting and challenging with Inter first with 43 points then Napoli & Milan 2nd with 39 points then Atalanta 4th with 37 points. There is still the second half to play and more goals might come, hopefully you will end up by winning

Today Tottenham did give Manchester city breathing space. Tottenham started the match with a goal . Its had for Manchester city to score more goals. I think Tottenham defence is Very hard for Manchester city .
you are wrong, Tottenham against Liverpool while man city against Newcastle. it was a good match, I like how both teams attack each other. but it's a shame that Tottenham was only able to hold Liverpool to a draw at home, even though I was initially very sure that Tottenham could win but Jota and Robertson made Tottenham fail to win. That was confusing since the first sentence could be understood as City getting 3 points gap from Liverpool which is good for them, as it might seem that instead of writing Liverpool, he wrote City. Anyway, a challenging game and Liverpool wasn't able to hold the 1 goal difference for more than 5 minutes. The red card made the situation more complicated and Spurs weren't able to profit from that.

I really appreciate PSG's gigantic form in the Ligue 1 so far. They are playing like they are in a video game. They have lost only once so far in 18 Ligue 1 games. And they won 14 of them. They have a gap like 13 points even with the second-placed team which are Marseille. The other teams including Marseille are having a very big difficulty in keeping up with PSG. And as there is a very wide gap in strength between PSG and any of the rest of the teams, it is not seen as a surprising thing. I am always wondering whether the staff, players of the other teams are considering winning the title as being the first one of the actual table or the first one of a table that doesn't include PSG As I always say, it is their fault to not being able to compete with PSG. PSG could win whatever game it wants but a team that wants to challenge them has to win as much game as possible..the current situation is very different and those teams are wasting points easily.

Its really going to be a thrilling match in few hours between Milan and Napoli. The top teams are going to fight with each other. Looking at the recent 3 matches they played, Milan has own 2 matches and drawn the last match against Udinese where as Napoli has lost two matches and drawn one match Sassuolo with 2:2. Milan has lot chances to win the match but lets see how the match is going to turn.
Milan odds are better than Napoli. Milan is quite more stable than Napoli especially in the last couple of games. I expect a draw or Milan to win unless the players were out of form, so I assume watching the first minutes before doing anything is a wise move. The other interesting thing this round is seeing Juve getting closer to the other teams. They have fun now the same points with Roma and Fiorentina and they are 5 points away from Napoli and 6 from Atalanta. We might see them in a CL spot soon

Was about to say Real Betis has got another chance to win a match against Athletic with 2:1 but just now Athletic has scored their 2nd goal. A real fight is going on. Williams is performing well and is on fire. Real Betis has hardly couple of minutes. It has to win the match to hold its 3rd position and challenge Sevilla to be on 2nd place. R Betis's recent performance has been awesome. Lets wait and see how the match turns.
With this match, Betis will be playing 1 more game than Sevilla and Real Madrid so the gap might be more than 3 goals at the end. Betis just lost this game at the last minutes and it was unfortunate to their good record so far. Anyway Bilbao is a good team and teams usually struggle vs it. Real Madrid gonna play in 3 hours vs Cadiz and they should win it obviously!

Wow Tottenham surprise in the early minutes Harry kane scored in the 13th minute 1-0 for Tottenham, if Liverpool can't control the situation then they risk conceding more I see some big teams lose by a lot of goals in these situations when the mentality of the players down due to early goals Liverpool must score immediately to control the situation.
Generally whenever a team scores an early goal then they will receive many and they will end up by losing unless they managed to score at least another goal. Spurs players should consider the actual score 0-0 and do not give up in attacks or else Liverpool will knock them. After Chelsea draw, Liverpool might be less stressed to not lose its position but the gap between them and City will increase and make the task a little bit difficult to catch them.

So far so good, the gap between Bayern and Dortmund is now 9 points before the winter break. It is ridiculous to see Dortmund losing vs Hertha with 3 goals after being in the lead with 1 goal in the first half.. Leipzig failed vs a team in the relegation zone and Freiburg passed in front of Leverkusen after winning vs it as expected. Epic round here for most teams

I agree with you, Lazio also compete with Juventus and Roma each of these teams will fight for 5 & 6 places somehow Lazio can defeat its competitors Tomorrow Roma and Juventus will play both teams play away It's just that I doubt Roma can beat Atalanta while for Juventus it doesn't seem difficult I imagined many scenarios in Roma games. Atalanta will most likely won, a draw is very possible too, Roma winning with 1 goal difference could happen but Atalanta 1-4 Roma is a surprise for many of us I assume! Mourinho happiness level is at its highest I suppose Bologna 0-1 Juve after 20 minutes. I don't think there will be surprises here.

The game between Sevilla and Atletico Madrid is going to be very interesting. In my opinion, Real Madrid can be calm about the La Liga championship this season, and Atletico and Sevilla seem to be the main candidates for the runner-up. I believe that the home team is the favorite in today's game. Sevilla are in great form and have only loss points once this season at their home stadium.
Real Madrid shouldn't be calm about winning La Liga until they confirm getting it. The other teams aren't that far from it, if Real Madrid loses points in 3 games, Sevilla, Betis or ATM might catch them.. and there is as many as 21 games left. For Sevilla - ATM match, I don't see a clear favourite, it will all depends from silly mistakes imo, odds are very close and everything is possible.

In the only Premier League game that will be played today, I bet on the victory of Arsenal. Leeds seems to be in a bad shape. In the last two matches, they conceded as many as 10 goals. Of course, they had Chelsea and Man City as their rivals, so this judgment may not be entirely fair. The fact is, however, that there is a long list of injured players in the home team. Arsenal, on the other hand, seem to be in good shape. He is on the high 4th place in the league and today he will certainly want to confirm that it is not a coincidence.
Leeds failed in many games, Brentford, Brighton, Wolves, Southampton, they even got a draw against Newcastle which is in failure mode.. Of course the humiliating defeat against City was another story. Arsenal gonna win imo, odds are @1.6 /Arsenal - @5.6 /Leeds. A draw might be possible if Arsenal players are out of shape and Leeds ones are in top form.
