Please forgive me if its a stupid question, I have been away from Crypto for a few years, I live In Canada and I have not been active and now am getting back to crypto, I use to use Blockchain.com wallet , is that wallet still good? and Does it matter which country I am in for wallet. I registered with coinsquare as a platform to buy bitcoins, but I heard that it can take up to 4 days to move BTC from there after purchase, is that true, I remember on localbitcoins it used to be much quicker but the price was higher obviously, so is coinsquare the best way to buy bitcoins for Canadians. what wallet would you recommend for mobile.

Not that know of any such services but even if they exist, I would avoid them. You need to be in control of your bitcoins, if you think you are addicted to gambling or something you should rather talk to your friends then giving access to your funds to any such third party services. Probably use a cold wallet and keep the key safe with your closed one.
This thread is not discussing the WHY but the HOW - why can't you keep your opinions to yourself? This is not a WHY thread but a HOW thread? (not why lock your coins but HOW to lock them). Please save your opinions to yourself if you cannot contribute to the purpose of the thread. Locking the bitcoins means that you are not allowed to withdraw for a certain time. If you really want this and still want full control over your coins, I will suggest to move those coins to a new wallet and keep the secret key in some lock and throw the key away. When you need those coins, you need to break that lock in order to get the secret key. I know this may seems ridiculous to you but that's the best way rather than trusting any 3rd party website. |

As per now, there are 4894 Crypto currencies and 20790 markets on CMC. Bitcoin is on the number one. But USDT is ranking up rapidly and now it’s number 4. Any possibility to get it over Bitcoin? I would be shocked if I see.
You do not need to worry about the USDT , tether or other stable coins. These are just the representation of the USD in the crypto market and you will see it in the top 10 in CMC always. Also I think that technically if USDT ever comes on top of bitcoin, it will mean some serious dis-interest in bitcoin. |

I think you are very trusted member. I think the same way about Yobit and if they are late, I belive they will pay sooner or later. No offense. Peace Yobit can't be trusted (or at least isn't reliable at all) and that's a fact. Just because they are here for some time doesn't mean they are trusted. Yes, they are old. But their scam accusations and shady behavior also accompanied for all this years. Frozen wallets/coins, terrible support, scam coins, shady IEOs, etc... They are bad and only care about profiting. That's clear and you getting paid by them doesn't change that fact. They are promoting the forum cryptotalk.org, its beginning get some good contents and probably by the near future we may be able to see that its not just an altcoin forum that we can get good information as well. There were users who quit the campaign though, its not possible to come back again when you remove then signature.
It is really not. Every time I check that forum is a freaking mess. Legit the worst "community" I have ever seen in years of being part of online forums. Actually, there isn't really a community. Only a bunch of spammers trying to get as much money as possible. There isn't a couple of real threads in that mess. Don't close your eyes for the truth just because you have their signature on. So true man... thats also what I posted earlier, finding a single post to make at least SOME sense is hard hard work, lol... And some guys here keep on posting how great those contents are, lol... Seriously wondering if some people are human at all or just bots. This is what is called PAID ADVERTISEMENTS. People are being paid to post and they won't say that cryptotalk is a spammy forum. You will find a lot of praise for that forum by most of the members who post here and there too. This is same like a youtubers promote a paid promotion and make people believe that certain product/investment is the best. |

In a spam infected forum, I find it a great idea. It will make people not only stop posting one-liners that will get deleted but it will also make them avoid topics that would get trashed. Of course, it generates problems of its own by clogging other topics but it is also forcing people to think not just to open a page where to unload a bunch of text. After all, why should they get paid for something that erased two hours alter and 99% of the forum didn't read? Would you pay somebody to rake the leaves from your lawn every hour when all he does is pile them up in a corner so the wind blows them all over?  That would be the idea, yeah. But that's not happening nor it's going to happen while people can spam that easily for money. Their posts are getting deleted, but they keep making more or creating more accounts. I have seen some extremely blatantly multi accounts spamming extremely broken off-topic posts to get paid. Their money is being spent sanely on this kind of posts. The user that got the big 1 BTC price vanished and no one else is making any real discussion there. The user who got 1 BTC was also not making any serious discussions there either.  This is the problem with forums who want to keep it alive by paying for the posts. The moment you stop them payment, they move on and this is what the winner guy with 1 BTC did. You start another competition and he will come with another army of shitposters. |

No one is really searching for people who may have known that person or persons.
There are several people out there. Who do know who Satoshi is and did talk to him at least. Why are we not focusing on those people? the friends?
When you do not know who is satoshi, how can you find friends for him ? This is how it works. First you know a person and then you can figure out whom his/her friends are. You cannot find the friends of a person which is not known of who is he. |

Governments are not willing to accept crypto in its unregulated form, they will regulate it in order to use them in there regime. A regulated currency wont be a cryptocurrency. The interest of governments and the features crypto currency holders are different and they both cannot be merged. If the crypto is regulated and controlled, then it will no longer remain decentralized and hence, the whole concept of have a cryptocurrency in the first place will be useless as then we are back to centralized banking system. If the government allows the crypto currencies, then they will have no control over it and this is what governments cannot afford. |

What's going on with the market as everyday you can see a quick pump or dump which was not the case until last one month? I thought it's done by whales but I don't think they will do it so often. Who is creating these fluctuations and where will this lead us? Bull run or bear market?
All of the questions which you have asked have no definite answers. The current bitcoin movement can be result of manipulation or it can be real sell and buy as we had some hacking exchange news which also created a bit of panic. In the long term, I can see a bull market but in short frame of time no one is sure that bitcoin will move toward 6000$ or 9000$ in the near future. |

Hi, my exchange accounts has been hacked and all my coins has been changed to BTC than transffered to someones BTC wallet address, I have his BTC wallet address and IP address ( probably used vpn)
is there any chance to find it out ?!

I guess you have probably been a victim of phishing attack, and you gave your login details to the hacker. What you can do? - Contact exchange and maybe they can blacklist all his transactions if he want to use it on other exchange. How can an exchange black list all his transactions to be used on other exchanges ? If he is clever enough he will just mix his coins with any mixer service and transfer them to the new wallet which no one can trace. I feel the probability of getting the funds back is less than 1% here. |
