4141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CNV : corona virus token Project on: March 21, 2020, 05:44:10 AM
The digital currency’s tokens are burnt every Every week in ratio of 2:1 depending upon the number of victims Recovered during those hours.

Oh c'mon.
This is just too good to be true.
I doubt it will be successful.

The sudden creation of a coin because of the virus.
Normally, you are using just the name because of the viral name which is now being talked a lot in different forums and social media.
For you it might be a wise idea but not for the people who have seen the same shit already.
Yeah! Here in this forum. You cannot fool anyone here anymore. Maybe the newbies, but it would be too much of a fool to buy that.
4142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 21, 2020, 03:01:13 AM
I read the article you shared, but why is the Lakers organization does not name the 2 Lakers players who are positive with COVID-19?

If I have to understand fully the tweet related to that, I think Los Angeles Lakers will give an official statement after testing all of their players, a complete report output of their testing.

Anyhow, all players are isolated and quarantined so not mentioning the names of those 2, for now, will not contribute to the spread (after test).

So the additional cases are:
1 from Celtics (player)
1 from Nuggets (not mentioned if staff or player)
3 from Sixers (staffs)

All persons involved are currently asymptomatic.

Now, this explains better.
I have a strong feeling that 1 superstar from the Lakers has been tested positive. Thus making the announcement of the names go out to the public on the latter when everyone has the result. That's very frustrating, the virus are destroying the league.
How about the other leagues/athletes?
Baseball, football, and etc? Do they have the same or close number of people as the NBA that has been tested positive?

Yes, there might be also in American Football since it is also a physical game with a lot of  contact.
But this ain't the right thread for us to talk about it. Sorry.  Grin

It may not be actually be a problem for the players but more of their staff specially the old ones.
Coaches and assistants on the sideline which we all know are like 40+ years old.
Those bracket of age are the most affected seriously with this virus and mostly end up dead which is the sad part of all.
4143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: March 20, 2020, 04:52:25 PM
We know that day trading or short time trading is like playing with wild fire, not may can handle it. That's y most player's end up in loss and very few are successful day traders.
Is that hold true for gambling also?
There are posts here that gambling is addiction and how to get rid of.
Are there gamblers here who are in profit overall?

You bet!
There are different types of gambling although all of them really cost a lot of money. Almost the same as trading but there are still differences when it comes to spending.

Dice gambling like one in my signature is one example which could make you win a lot in just a little amount of time. High risk, fast profit.
Sports gambling. It takes time. You will need to do research to have a higher percentage of winning.

In trading, there is like a safety pin. You could always cancel your order if you are having doubts.
That won't happen if you gamble.  Grin
4144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty group is dead on: March 20, 2020, 02:26:50 PM
Bountyhive dead?
I thought they were just getting picky which is normal if you want to run a perfect bounty that will credit both ICO and the hunters.

I don't think they are really dead by now.
We might see them again sometime when there is a right one for them.
Or is it because their price is getting more expensive?

Former NBA player has something to say against Trump.

Jeremy Lin slams Donald Trump's 'racism' in calling coronavirus 'Chinese virus'
Well, that is nothing new.  Grin
Being racist is what is flowing in this guys veins. It ain't blood anymore.  Grin

Also, the latest news says that corona virus now penetrating in the western countries while in China, its already under control.
https://ph.yahoo.com/news/world-feared-china-over-coronavirus-185251823.html

Yeah, I have heard about that. It seems like they took care of what they have started but only in their country.
If this continue then it is good.
I suppose they will be aiding countries afterwards. I just hope so.

More NBA players are getting the virus, the good thing is not the whole team is being infected by it.
You can prove there is no chemistry yet.  Cheesy Just kidding.
I really miss NBA now.
4146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin should be bullish at this moment! on: March 20, 2020, 08:53:59 AM
It became like a landslide of people who are in panic.
Someone sold large amounts of bitcoin and then small holders followed it.

Now look at that, I just hope they already bought back what they have sold. But with all this happening about corona virus I bet they didn't.
They might spent all those money buying goods in grocery and cannot buy their way back.
This could be new investors that are buying bitcoin in risk of making some little profits.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio criticizes "wealthy" NBA teams for coronavirus tests

"We wish them a speedy recovery," de Blasio tweeted shortly after the Nets' announcement. "But, with all due respect, an entire NBA team should NOT get tested for COVID-19 while there are critically ill patients waiting to be tested. Tests should not be for the wealthy, but for the sick."

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/new-york-city-mayor-bill-de-blasio-criticizes-nba-teams-access-to-covid-19-tests-four-brooklyn-nets-coronavirus/
Why shouldn't they?

If they have all the means to get tested and it's from their fund and money, why they don't deserve it? I know that there's a need for other ill patients but it's just for testing.
How about to those who interact with players that have this virus, aren't they exposed and possible to also to carry this disease. I agree with you
as  even they are healthy but they also need this test to make sure that they are not carrying this virus.

Yeah, that is what I am saying.
What if they got into a lot of sick people during their visits for them.
Somehow this could be traced when found out they have the virus and then ask them for the history into where they went.

All I am saying is, everyone should be equal in this part.
The virus is not like a simple cold, it is easily passed on.
I know what this Mayor is trying to imply. It is because the players are healthy and the virus will just die in them.
But that is not the point here.
4148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin for coronavirus on: March 19, 2020, 04:42:36 PM
One viral they create a token.
Is that still new?
Using the latest event just for the sake of creating small amount of money.
It happens and will happen more on the next viral thing or person that will come out.

They even made fun of Trump and all the things that are happening on twitter. This should just be a normal walk in the park. Just ignore it.
4149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin during pandemics on: March 19, 2020, 02:45:18 PM
Is it really connected or is it just that it happens at the same time the virus gets viral.
I understand though that people will need money to spend for their necessities and it will be a lot if it will take a month to stay at home.

But here is the thing. Bitcoin became a store of value. Which means it is just like saving something.
Don't they have an easy way to make money rather than selling their bitcoins?
They could just withdraw their money from their respective banks and it will be easier.
Why such efforts into selling bitcoin in an exchange and then going thru banks to make it cash.

I am still in doubt if people really sold their bitcoins or it just happens to be bitcoin is being dump while the virus came viral.
Some may have sold it but not that much of them.

Wow. Why not? They should be. That is coming from a Mayor?  Huh

Physical games like basketball and others should also be one of the priorities. They are the ones who could pass it first hand. And they actually did without knowing they already have the virus.
Now, it is spreading more and they will have to track down where this players go before they were tested.
Some unwise comment coming from a political person.
Many will argue with this.

Because there are sicker people who need the test more then rich sports players who they dont even know if they have it
All are equal and everyone should be tested.
Actually this NBA players are more prone to spreading it to the sick.
What if one or two of them went to an event of NBA Cares. Who knows? Everyone needs the test kit.
4151  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC go? on: March 19, 2020, 11:04:11 AM
Up until now I still have the wish to predict the market accurately. But that might not come true forever. Grin

We cannot control the market.
But it's movement is from us. How we make transaction and how we buy or sell.
There is another problem though, we don't really know how others think.

So asking how low it will go might be a difficult question.
If you are a bitcoin supporter you want it up of course. So you will give positive comments here.
It could be bias most of the time.
4152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will grow in price faster if the market recovers? on: March 19, 2020, 03:39:33 AM
I would suggest you to go for Ethereum as its the only trustable crypto apart from Bitcoin which you can always vouch on, just like Bitcoin ETH has survived numeorus fluctuations and always hit back stronger and due to ongoing dump the value of ETH has been greatly reduced thus leaving a vaccum for massive return in investment when the market gets back to its stable condition. Already those who had invetsed into ETH when it was $60 last year more han 400% ROI.

Same idea. That is the only coin that pops out of my mind when altcoins is being talked about.

I would stay in bitcoin though if there is the right amount of money.
I don't want to be buying like just $400 worth of bitcoin. I would rather keep it with Ethereum.
Also, because I have already invested a lot with bitcoin in the past. Just want to diversify now to make more profit.
Still, I had been a fool for not selling my Ethereum at $270. Yeah, got greedy.  Grin
4153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 19, 2020, 02:09:03 AM

Oh my! How could that happen?
He might gone out with Rudy *Lol. Kiddin aside well He'd be socializing after a long day of work out.
Yeah, he might. Lol.  Grin
They may be buddies because they are both 7 foot tall. They could easily talk face to face and Gobert might have spit out a little virus while they are talking with face so close.  Cheesy

He is in healing process so how could he interact with his team mates?

This will be adjusted and will be worked out after he recover, He's now being closely monitored for sure and Isolated. (Same goes with the other 3)
So no to limited interactions will be in place.

1 out of 4 Nets player is having the symptoms of the virus.
I just hope they can all get thru this.
Even in our community now, people are  getting restless because of this bad events that are happening all over the world.
4154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Coronavirus affects Bitcoin and when it will end on: March 18, 2020, 03:46:34 PM
And there is halving which will come first.
It doesn't really make the price go higher. But with this cheap price it could be a good risk to buy now.

Yeah, it is unsure what will happen after the halving even with this virus still being feared. That will be the time people will come out and will go back to their normal life.
I know those sold bitcoin will be bought again but it might take long since some people are not making any money due to this virus.
But it will, fingers crossed.

Is he travelling with them despite that injury? Of all the players Durant is the one whom I don't really expect to have this.
Durant can already play, I already see some post online that he is already practicing games and i saw him in one of the nets games that he is with the team  although he was not playing, Durant is alright now, he can walk and he can mingle with friends but not yet available to play.

Here's a video that we can see he is already practicing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuT_u1NSp_k

Oh that is why.
Sorry I didn't really know about it. I thought he was in a healing process.
Thanks.  Wink

Here are the 8 ideas on how to resume the NBA.

4156  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC lost 3K $ in 1 day, Whales Are In Action on: March 18, 2020, 11:08:16 AM
Any proofs? I am all eyes to read everything.  Wink

Even small bitcoin buyers could make a hard rally into putting the bitcoin price down.
Let us say 1 bitcoin each user will suddenly sell it to prepare for something that could end up living inside the house for a month because of the virus.
I will do that. I will need to eat and also have stocks of food and water.
With all of them selling in one moment could all make this happen.
That is all the reason I can see now for this sudden fall.
4157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the new method of "Initial offering" this year? on: March 18, 2020, 06:55:26 AM
It might stay with IEO because that is the more secured thing to do rather than doing the ICO type.

Although there are still holes in this kind of methods.
Listing with unknown exchange and then falls to the line of a scam at the end. We don't like that.
There must someone who can think of another way.
That is for both investors and the company security. It should always be for both ends and not just for the company which mostly happens now.
We need to protect all the buyers so that they won't get wary into spending their money.
4158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 18, 2020, 04:18:03 AM
Kevin Durant is reported to be amongst four players from the Brooklyn Nets to test positive for Covid-19, according to @SpectatorIndex which happens to be a trusted news source (for me), tweeted. The source also claimed that KD's feeling great despite testing positive to the pandemic.

https://twitter.com/spectatorindex/status/1240029726674006016

Oh my! How could that happen?
He is in healing process so how could he interact with his team mates?
Are they still seeing each other after every game?
I thought he was like in a healing ward where he is the only one there or those who are helping him heal.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/nets/2020/03/17/brooklyn-nets-test-positive-coronavirus/5072045002/
Quote
"All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff. The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible.”
Is he travelling with them despite that injury? Of all the players Durant is the one whom I don't really expect to have this.
4159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 3884 again? on: March 17, 2020, 01:43:36 PM
Resistance is $5k.
Last time I said that was like 7k I think and it really resisted at that point up until now.

Well, we could see a lot is happening by now and it is worldwide specially the corona virus thing.
While people are in panic there seems to be a reason for them to sell.
They need food, water and medicine to be piled in their house and because of that cash is needed and not bitcoin for now.
Emergence is happening and they need preparation, so we might see more of a dump.

What about his buddy Rudy Gober, do we also have an update regarding his status?

Rudy Gobert posted a video yesterday.

You can see the link below
https://twitter.com/BleacherReport/status/1239236522639077376

Let's see how this virus affects people because I've heard to one of my countrymen that lives in china and being lockdown there for a whole month that sometimes it takes 3 weeks or 1 month for the virus reflect, show some symptoms and health problem. Doesn't matter if it's true or not, hopefully, there is no bad things would happen to all affected.

Yes, because that is the maturity of the virus to make its full effect.
It may be near maturity if you are already having a fever.

Even this athletes can take the bad effect of it.
Examples are family histories of bad sickness. Hereditary ones which may not be seen when you are still young.
Those are the most targeted of this virus which is not easy to prevent. You will just die without knowing that certain point of sickness is attacked.

Yet, look at this guy.
