4161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about bitcoin taxes and signature campaign payment on this forum on: June 07, 2021, 09:25:17 PM
I'm a little bit confused here, aren't we contradicting ourselves if we're to advice tax be paid on the signature payout we received on the forum. Isn't the whole philosophy on the forum is 'signature campaign aren't job and shouldn't be considered as a source of income'.

I'm pretty sure 90% of the users on the forum give that advice, now if we're to pay taxes on our signature rewards that automatically means signature are actually job and should be considered as such.

That been said, aren't the service providers already taking care of the tax from the servers fees they charge?
4162  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning your first merit on: June 07, 2021, 09:06:47 PM
Merit is fine and needed. But focus more on the quality of post you are making. When I was a newbie I wanted merit by all means. But now I don't care much for it, I know that it comes when you deserve it. Do you own work and merit will come to you. Congratulations for your first merit and I wish you more merits to come.

Exactly, as you begin to advance in the forum you'll begin to careless about the merits you receive mainly because you'll begin to understand it isn't always about the quality that attract the merit to you. If you begin to observe your post that get merited you'll see what I mean.

Most times your post that you must have felt deserve to be merited due to the quality and usefulness of the post might go unmerited. No this doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to be merited but it could be meriters (both sources and the average user with smerit) haven't seen the post.

This though shouldn't discourage you as all good works most surely get rewarded one day. I have received merits for my posts made years back. Just keep contributing positively and let fate do it work.

So my simple and straightforward conclusion be say, altcoins dey more risky to invest in than bitcoin, but the profit dey always dey higher than bitcoin's profit if one invest in the right one.

Ah you don finish work be dis, another thing person need considered na the taking of profit thing. Many people don get millions but e just dey online, I be one of those people. E get one altcoin I buy, e rise but I no dey satisfied as my target never reach. For my very before that coin show me waka, e drop like say na buhari age.

No be like make una look market una self, see Ethereum, BNB, dot, link, uni etc dis na all coins I know when dem dey $1 but see my life na I no buy I dey dey form Bitcoin maximalist. I don tayah abeg make una show me way for the altcoins hustle even bounty self I fit drop enter any better one.

For here self dis $100 dey do me like slavery, I hate salary related things, I like when my hustle pay me like risk plenty nobi comfort zone something as I don already they feel relax and the thing dey vex me.
4166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Checking your posting history a day before weekly posting ends on: June 04, 2021, 09:32:05 AM
Allowing people to post at their speed is a good idea and it could help reduce the number of spam posts cause not everyone is capable of contributing 20 posts per week

Obviously and I'm also ok with the minimum post requirements before you get paid but it shouldn't be very tasking. Like the 10/15 is ok any active member of the forum can do that without much challenge. These project that come adverting are investing their funds that if they buy ad lots on the forum or other more active platform would probably get more audiences for the cash they're spending especially when you calculate how much they're paying per post.

So it should me minimum post count and no must reach post count to get pay, that way the participants would have to be active to some extend but would get pay for posting for that week irrespective of what number of post they post provide it has passed the minimum that's isn't much demanding. Can't give an exact number but I think 10/15 is quite decent, although the final decision is that of the campaign owners.
4167  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Regarding signature campaigns' submission. on: June 04, 2021, 05:11:16 AM
Don't mind me asking this, I'm a tad curious to know as to how is game-protect in your BrainGain list when he's a well-known scammer (albeit perm-banned)?

Don't think this is the right thread to ask this question as it could be considered off topic but still I'll give you an answer although incase of next time you have personal questions like this, you can message me directly, ask questions on my [url:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5124215.0]service announcement thread[/url] and I'll give you audiences.

Back to the questions, as explained on my blacklist thread,
This thread will be compose of two list, the second which is the BrainGain list will be for users under probation, both users on my ignore list and those that must have changed their ways will be in the list and I might consider hiring them last if they're qualified and there aren't enough worthy participants applying to participate in my campaigns.

So basically anyone you see there could be on my ignore list, they would have to show interest in any campaign under my management before their accounts gets looks into.

And no before you make the suggestion due to his reputation, he deserves to be on the BrainLess list instead of the other, that list only consist of users that are caught spamming or cheating in a campaign under my management as explained in the thread as well.
4168  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whales and the bull/bear market on: June 04, 2021, 04:38:34 AM
So do the whales have the ability to dump us into a bear market on their own?

Yes they do, he who has the money control the market, when there's fud the whales take advantage of this and manipulate the market, you as a retail investors that want to cut losses or secure profit panic and fall right into their traps. They make the market declines as the selling pressure become more dominant in the market.

Initially if there's no huge selling ongoing the market wouldn't reaction as much as it does when there's any small negative news regarding the industry. And for your concern on how they sell if the market is declining, are you forgetting we're in a very active market, one that never closes.

Actually their sale decline the market and we havee retail investors seeing every dump as an opportunity to come into the market, these are those they sell their coins to on the market and also already existing investors wanting to accumulate more.
4169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To be honest about Investing on: June 04, 2021, 04:28:12 AM
But all to say the whole point of the markets is to take your Money from You.

Out of all you have written which I don't seem to agree with, this line quoted above caught my attention more. Well I initially thought the body of your topic would be concentrated in investing instead it felt like you were speaking about trading.

Back to your statement, the market if studied closely will make you understand that, money moves from the inexperienced to the experienced. Those trading because they have the skills and luck been in their side, not just those gambling because they have heard money can been made in the market and they want it quick.

The market only takes money form you when you're ignorant, have refused to learn form others mistakes and history. Take the crypto market as example, we have three stages, bear, accumulating stages and bull stages. Understanding this will help you make your decision on what to do and not just blindly putting in capital into the market and waiting to be rich all of a sudden.
4170  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding the importance of monitoring weekly paid posts on: June 04, 2021, 04:18:32 AM
<...>
Thanks for this post. The main reason I created this topic is for users to make sure they monitor their post counts because some of the posts made can be moved to non-eligible boards for post count, this will help them to make appropriate corrections before the week ends.

Well like I have said, I understand what you're trying to do here as I have created related topics in the past. If I was to add some thoughts I'll simply say, if you don't want to miss out on your weekly pay and not having to monitor your weekly post count (which should be the case), then you have to watch the type of campaigns you join.

Don't go joining a campaign just because the payrate is above others without been a frequent posters in those board they're interested in or writing as much posts they need per week. Everything boils down to the campaign you're enrolled in and your aim on the forum. If you enjoy writing and making valuable contributions to the forum then most campaign quota won't be a problem for you to fill without having to change everything about your posting habit/style or monitor your posts.
4171  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Regarding signature campaigns' submission. on: June 04, 2021, 04:00:10 AM
To answer your question directly, many new mangers just copy paste already existing thread without actually reading what the requirements are or sometimes they do read but just feel those are the rules of the forum they have to follow such too. I have been contacted by the new manager asking whether the earning of 5merits minimum rules seen on most signature thread on the forum is a forum rule they most follow too but I have to clarify them that, those are individuals rules set by the managers that they can adopt if they find it very useful.

Secondly, I think I have noticed yahoo62278 not bother reviewing applicates that don't have those ads information required on so not all mangers, just does as you said and also from my experience, there are some quality poster that you'll see and you know they'll be a big plus to the campaign at hand and you have no choice but to give them a shot if they pick interest in a campaign under my management especially when they in another quality campaign.

PS: All rules on my signature thread are liable to adjustment, I require a minimum of 5merit to get accepted but I can forget that if after a review of your account and they're worthy of reading but you don't have the 5merit. Most of my rules are just to chase away spammers as they get scared of this rules when they see them.
4172  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post requirement on: June 04, 2021, 03:43:38 AM
I think I can't answer better than @Hhampuz did, but I will try to give my input. I think in past there was much more campaigns with pay per post system, but now only Chipmixer remains.

Don't think so, 777coin and Bitvest under my management pays per post although they have a minimum which is just 15 posts to stay active in the campaign. This minimum is just so the participate stay active as they mightn't have as huge capital as chipmixer to pay everybody irrespective of what you post still, they're one of the longest too and has probably the highest number of participants when combining both signature since they're from the same owner.

The project under my promotion (Best_change) also has a pay per post system, just as chipmixer they have a maximum although also implemented the minimum requirements. Do understand that this project having minimum are quite new and concerned on how their invested are bringing out returns, probably with time we could see them removing this minimum requirements as this is one of the campaign on the forum ready to improved.
4173  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post requirement on: June 02, 2021, 09:09:07 PM
Don't compare small companies just starting up to companies that were already counting in millions from the early days of operation. Chipmixer got millions in commission from their customer so they have all it take to pay the promoters promoting them like their signature campaign running on the forum without caring how the promoters post but the average new projects wants every penny they invest to be productive.

I'm still new to the business of campaign management so I might not have much to contribute in regards to the issue at hand, so don't know for others but I get contacted with them (new projects) already figured it all out. They have the number of posts they want, how much they're willing to invest and how long they intend running the campaign.

Sadly I haven't been able to implement my ideas as much as I can but always try the best I can to reduced he workload to some extend. Not many new projects have enough funds to spare or they don't just want to waste funds as they'll have other things that they'll need the funds to tackle in order to grow their brand to one of the tops.
4174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding how important to monitor your weekly paid posts on: June 02, 2021, 08:10:17 AM
2. Making sure you post on the board that will count for weekly payment (though that does not limit you to only posting on eligible boards)

We have to understand that posting on the forum shouldn't be seen as a job, sorry but this statement kind of make it feel that way (might have misunderstood it though). Before you join a campaign you should already have read their rules and make sure it suits your style of posting. Campaigns shouldn't make you go posting on boards you don't have passion for as that'll turn you into a spammer instead it should be an additional rewards you receive for your engagement on the board you're familiar with.

You can thread through this thread I created years back titled; [Guide] Factors to consider before joining paid signature campaigns. I highlighted this point, consider boards post count are accepted in before joining a campaign. If you do this then you won't have to worry about your point 2 mentioned above 'Making sure you post on the board that will count for weekly payment.

If you're not into gambling then stop joining campaign that requires you to post in that board. Ignoring this is the reason we see high level of spam on selective boards. To get the best from the forum, you don't have to treat it like an office Instead a learning/corrections platform/community and you'll enjoy your stay here.
4175  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A legend was once a newbie on: June 02, 2021, 07:47:25 AM
You have only three messages, and you conclude that experienced participants do not quite treat beginners correctly.

Which could only mean we have an alt here or someone trying to play the pity game. The funny thing about most account complaining about them not recieving merit is when you try reviewing the account, hardly will you find any outstanding contributions. Mostly average post you'll see and yet they go around crying they're not been merited.

Instead of chasing after the merit OP make it get attracted to you due to your contributions, if you observe closely, we have members recieving merits in their numbers not because of some privilege instead as a result of their dedications to they forum.

All their posts are always construction and worth reading. I doubt you won't get the appreciation you deserve if you can level up your game and make it become a habit and not merely a disguise to get rewarded and rank up.
4176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are scammers getting dumber? Or is it people they aim for are so naïve? on: June 02, 2021, 07:14:07 AM
Not being sympathetic to these guys but at least they were highly professional and inventive scammers, unlike those I mentioned above.

Scammers these days especially those targeting the noobs coming into the cryptocurency space due to the hype it has been receiving in the past months as a result of its astonished increase in value compared to other assets (stocks, commodities etc) put their success on lucky. They don't have to stress themselves been all convincing with their tricks, etc. They're just targeting those that aren't informed and would fall easily to their tricks.

I watch YouTube videos this day more often as I tend to engage myself more in the community than just investing by buying into project, I tend to know what's the latest trend so I have subscribed to various crypto update channels. What's funny is there's a particular kind of ad that pops up in-between all the videos I have watched on different occasions, that has to do with trending coins, Elon, Tesla and doublers.

You might think coin doublers are old tricks but don't be surprised when noobs still fall for this scams mainly because they're not informed and they're impatience to learn before earning instead hunger for quick money.
4177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning your first merit on: June 02, 2021, 06:53:49 AM
Newbie here and no merit yet. Pretty crazy and daunting seeing people with hundreds of merits.

Well, better late than never coming to this forum! Crypto is still young, hope to learn and contribute.

Now you got two so don't see the hundreds as an impossible tasks, we all started from somewhere with some little motivation and we earned our way to be among the tops. A quick review on your account and it was looking decent. Thought I'll come across the typical newbie account that's flooded with bounty tasks, but no yours is different although need improvement.

Just keep working on yourself and improve on your engagement with posts that's quite educational to members of the forum and in no time, you'll start getting the recognition (rewards) you deserve for your contribution.

Ps: Feels good to be back where it all began, having more free time so my engagement on this board will increase and hopefully I can find worthy posts to award merit, I'm back.

4179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Abolute bottom of Bitcoin? on: June 01, 2021, 11:41:40 PM
My bet ist 30.000 $. If we would fall way
lower then Bitcoin has probably failed for ever.

Before making a bold statement such as this, you have to consider the facts leading to the dump in price to that level. You can't expect a scenario when there are fud all over from banning of Bitcoin related activities to punishment been given to offenders caught and still expect Bitcoin to be performing well.

Obviously in situations like that the price of bitcoin will decline just for the time been and usually it bounces back bigger. You concluding that Bitcoin has failed at the moment it was trading below your estimated value would be wrong. Top assets falls but it's the potential of them raising back is what makes them perfect investment vehicle.
4180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is fearfull. Someone said this is time to be greedy on: June 01, 2021, 11:20:19 PM
There is also blood on the streets, so someone said this is time to buy. Look at the amount of fear. So follow this?

Generally when the market is red, it present an opportunity to buy at very discount price but the reason you shouldn't be too greedy is as you don't know what's the market direction whether I'll further dump down or recover from your buying price range.

If you don't have plans of holding for years don't just blindly start buying from the market when you see it in red as some could be bear trap manipulations by the whale. Instead you can buy in batches as this prevent you from been at disadvantage if the market was to dump further.
