There is still a high competition in the Group C now while there are two games left to the end of the group games. There is only a three-point gap between the leader Napoli and the team at the last place which are Spartak Moscow. And exactly one week later, Spartak Moscow are going to be playing a home game against Napoli. Their previous game ended by the victory of S. Moscow by 3-2 away. But while there is a critical situation in the group, I don't expect Napoli to make a big mistake. I think they will take revenge on S. Moscow and get comfortable about their lead.

There was a really interesting game last night in the South America World Cup Qualifiers. Argentina hosted Brazil. They were already very comfortable in their group as they were tearing their opponents apart one by one. Argentina got so many draws though but Brazil won 11 of their 13 group games. And both of these teams are still unbeaten. In this game, I wasn't expecting Argentina to lose and they didn't surprise me. But I'd have liked to see goals in this game. This was the boring part of it.

I think the biggest game of the night was Brooklyn Nets - Golden State Warriors. Especially Warriors have been impressing people a lot by their great performance so far. I mean Curry's performance to be more specific. Because he is playing a very big role in the wins the team get. He scores so many points as he is in a great shape this season. And last night, Curry's huge performance helped the team win the game a lot by 117-99. He scored 37 points.

The Watford - Manchester United game is a very critical one for the Manchester side. It is very important for Solskjaer as it can be a decider for him to stay or go. They need to win this game at any cost. Maybe Watford will also play with all they have as they are in a problematic situation in the league too. I think each side will score a goal in this game. But I think that Manchester United will be the winner at the end.
Watford's game is not serious threat for Solskjaer career, but 2 remaining games have some serious issue for his career, both are in Champions League because if he fails to qualify for next round then surely he is going to fire from here it's very important for his job here in Manchester United. In Premier League he is going to have some very critical time as after Watford he is going to face Chelsea in away game then Arsenal at home and Crystal Palace mean very long list of tough matches waiting for him just need some better strategy and performance from significant players for having good result in these matches. I don't know, man. Because I don't expect the team board to make a decision in the way that Solskjaer stays if they lose points in the Watford game also. His position in the team is already in big danger after losing to Manchester City and not showing even a little existence in that game. If a similar thing happens in this game also, he would most probably get sacked. And I've heard that Ronaldo wants to work with Zidane in case Solskjaer leaves.

Dortmund are going to be having a home game against Stuttgart this time. They lost to Leipzig by 2-1 the last time and this caused them to be 4 points away from the leader Bayern Munich. They need to keep winning not to let Bayern Munich pull away from them. Stuttgart is not a very tough opponent for them either. However, Dortmund's last home game against them ended by a huge loss for Dortmund, 1-5. It was a very surprising result for all of us. But this happens one in a million times also. So, I think Dortmund will be victorious.

Switzerland have taken the lead from Italy temporarily now as they are 2-0 ahead against Bulgaria. On the other hand, Italy are also dominating their game against Northern Ireland. But they still haven't been able to score even one goal and it is still 0-0. In case the results are like this, Switzerland are going to be 2 points ahead of Italy. There are still going to be 2 more games of course but it would be a very good advantage for Switzerland.

There were some impressive results today like:
France 8-0 Kazakhstan Turkey 6-0 Gibraltar
But I know that each opponent was a very easy target for France and Turkey. And these games were important for both teams actually. France have guaranteed qualifying for the World Cup by this huge win. And it was a very meaningful win for Turkey as they have captured the second place as Norway lost points today against Latvia (0-0).

It was really worrying to see Barcelona performing this much bad until they changed their manager. Now their old player Xavi is their manager and this could be really good news for Barcelona. Because he is one of the people who know Barcelona very good. I'm hoping to see him taking the necessary actions to make this team come back to life again. A team like Barcelona don't deserve to be like this.
that's should have happened barca's performance was very bad ,probably because of barca's financial condition also so koeman was not serious about strategy ! that's my opinion ! xavi grow up at barca and has become a club legend so I think xavi will seriously raise the team's performance to be better and stronger but all that requires a process As far as I know, Xavi is not a very experienced manager now. But we remember his years at Barcelona. He is one of Barcelona legends for sure. And he was one of the best candidates for the manager job at Barcelona. He needs to prepare a good roadmap for the team. Step by step, this team can get better and better in time. The things that they need the most now are time and good management.

The Ireland vs Portugal game tonight is an important game for Portugal in terms of taking the lead in the group. Because Serbia are one point ahead of them now but they have an additional game played too. If Portugal manage to beat their weak competitor, they will get two points ahead of Serbia by taking the lead. Ireland have won only one game in the group so far which was against Azerbaijan. They don't have any claim on even the second position so I don't expect them to resist Portugal much. Portugal beat them by 2-1 before and this time I expect a win by a bigger gap.

Manchester United fall behind competitors for the title but they also fall deeply enough to see Arsenal stands above them. It is unbelievable when the season kicked off because Arsenal was in bad crisis with Arteta last 2 seasons. Nobody believe that they can have higher ranking than Manchester United.
I appreciate Arsenal can be top 5 on the table now. While Man United showed bad performance, Arsenal did a great job in the last 5 matches. I think Arsenal has found a good strategy by putting combo Aubameyang and Lacazette on the front line. Man United needs to evaluate their strategy like Arsenal did, if they still want to compete with other teams. I think Man United has a chance to come back again to top 5, don't worry!! Yeah, Arsenal have done a great job so far after an unbelievably bad start. For any team, this is really hard to achieve mentally. Because think about that you lost nearly all of your first games by big score gaps. And you maintained this losing streak for weeks. It is not easy to recover from this condition psychologically. But Arsenal made it with even the same coach they were being torn apart by their competitors. And Manchester United also have a big chance to do this as their condition is not worse than Arsenal's early season performance. They are still not too far away from even the leader. A 9-point gap can be closed as we are not even at the half season. But they should start making the right choices before it is too late also.

Maybe Freiburg are having a solid season too but it seems like Dortmund are the only team that can hold Bayern Munich back from winning the title again this season. Because they have the second best lineup quality among the rest of the teams in the Bundesliga. Of course, the lineup is not everything all the time. But to dethrone a dominator like Bayern Munich, you need to have a solid lineup. Even it might not be enough for succeeding in this. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Defeat against bayern munchen is certainly very painful, especially now that the difference between the two teams is starting to be quite far and it will be impossible to stop bayern munchen dominance in the bundesliga this season, actually I personally really hope that freiburg is able to at least hold a draw with bayern munchen in that match, but indeed on In fact, Bayern Munich is a very difficult club to beat. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) I also think that Dortmund can be the team that have the best chance to stop Bayern Munich's overpowering their competitors this season. Because after a long time, we finally are seeing a more consistent Dortmund. Of course, the result they got last week was not very satisfactory for them as the point difference with Bayern has increased to 4 now. But Dortmund played a really tough game away against Leipzig and Haaland's absence was felt by his team.

Leverkusen will not go too far in this competition imo. They are fluctuating a lot in Bundesliga, they got kicked from DFB-Pokal by a team which is 10th in 2.Bundesliga.. In EL, its rivals aren't that top, Betis seems to be better than the others, yet it isn't that good lately even in La Liga..
I agree with you too. I don't expect Bayer Leverkusen to achieve great things in this tournament. As you have mentioned also, Leverkusen are already too bad in the Bundesliga. Maybe they are going on better here but they will still need to focus on Bundesliga to make things better. At some point, they can let this tournament go and focus on the Bundesliga to be able to finish the season at a decent place and join the Champions League.

The Greece vs Spain can be one of the interesting games tonight. While there are two games left to the end of the qualifier games, Spain are 4 points ahead of Greece now. Spain are at the 2nd place and Greece are right behind them. In their first group game, Spain had a hard time beating them even though they dominated the whole game and it ended by 1-1. This time, I assume that they will want to obtain a certain victory here. And I expect Spain to win this and guarantee promoting to the main tournament.
