4161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Martingale Number Lose Streak Formula on: December 20, 2020, 10:41:44 PM
Just a quick help.
Is there anyone here knows the formula for Martingale lose streak.

What I want to get is the how many lose streak before my x amount of money will lose.

Let's say I have 100USD on my account.
My starting bet is: 5USD
For every lose, bet will increase in 100% and if I won, bet will reset to 5 USD. Martingale style.
So, what I want to get is how many lose streak before my 100USD will get rekt?
Is there any simple formula for this?

Thanks!

I have to respectfully disagree with anyone that said offer a cheaper price than other exchange platforms for this. I'm not in PH at the moment but based on where I am now, OTC trades cost more than normal trades in an exchange since you're eliminating the centralized exchange and replacing it with yourself [it's still under a centralized nature but with more flexibility] so you should charge more.
- If they're after cheaper prices, they have to do the whole process by themselves on those platforms.
(.....)
This is also on my mind, if I will only base on an some exchange rate which I can say that I may get small profits, but I  should also consider the trading fee within exchange.
I decided to ask some small amount for a fee, regardless the spread of my buy/sell price.

BTW, I found another good exchange which don't charge withdrawal fee, and I really find it useful for my kind of business. It is FTX exchange, they don't charge withdrawal fee. Only BCH and XRP for now I already tried.
4163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CONFESSION TIME: I SOLD TOO EARLY on: December 20, 2020, 07:10:28 AM
As in all? even your alts have been sold too during that bearish market? that's not the ideal time to sell if the market's too bear. (....)
I already experienced this before, especially on previous peak around 2017. That year also I was introduced with Bitcoin or cryptocurrency, what mistake I made before was buying and buying without doing research on altcoins. I don't even price target or stop loss.
As I remember around year 2018. I sold all of my altcoins in lost. I did it because I really feel bad and I don't want to think again those memories. That's why I started to accumulate Bitcoin instead of altcoins, or majority of my portfolio are in Bitcoin and some high market cap altcoins.
4164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing : Reymart Gaballo vs Emmanuel Rodriguez on December 19th on: December 20, 2020, 05:43:22 AM
Wow, what a complete turn of events, I should have put a bet when the odds is still @2.x for Gaballo, LOL. Nevertheless, it's awesome to see the Filipino getting the nod of boxing pundits.
(....)
I started watching the fight from Round 5 until Round 12. What I observed on the last 2-3 rounds, Emmanuel Rodriguez really owning here, I thought Reymart Gaballo is about to knockout from there.
I am also worried that I think Reymart Gaballo gonna lose the fight, but hell yeah, he is still undefeated.
I think if Rodriguez manages to knock out Reymart Gaballo, for sure he won.

Has there ever been a case where a user's bitcoin had been stolen by way of simply connecting the hardware wallet to the computer?
(....)
Phishing websites or software / malwares installed on computer. There are few issue before on Ledger regarding of email on the user of ledger hardware wallet where the email consist of phishing site and asking user for the hardware wallet's seeds.
Storing hardware wallet's seeds online may not be safe and good move.
What I love using hardware wallet is there is no way to get your funds as long as nobody knows your seeds or keys.
4166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be greedy at this time. on: December 19, 2020, 02:27:39 PM
Major problem of being a newbie is being a greedy. I think majority of successful trader these days experienced of being greedy, I admit it. But we should take those losses or failures as lesson to become successful trader.
We all know how volatile cryptocurrency is, so being more greedy in this market is extremely difficult, you may get rekt at any moment.
4167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone will agree with Bitcoin, you should know this! on: December 19, 2020, 08:46:56 AM
Some billionaire or rich people also think the same. We have different minds, different opinion with Bitcoin. Mark Cuban is one of the example, it's just his own opinion, some billionaire too may disagree or agree to him.
That's why what the majority telling, don't invest all to Bitcoin or don't all in, or diversify to some assets. They may be true. No one knows the future of Bitcoin. But the innovation or technology behind Bitcoin is really amazing and I believe it will stay forever and will help our daily lives.

Some people may think that talking like those figures may funny or some people are just making fun of it. Some people are troll, and they are using it for trolling purposes.
There is nothing wrong for thinking some impossible figures like what OP mentioned. But for me, it is possible. I am also hoping those figures in the future.
4169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The best platform to use for buy and sell crypto on: December 19, 2020, 07:09:39 AM
Thanks everyone for all the advices.
I already started selling some crypto direct to their wallet or gambling platform account.
Most cryptocurrency they are buying are Ripple and Bitcoin Cash for now. I am using the coins.ph (centralised Philippines exchange) as bases for buy price or selling price.

I need an advice for what I am planning.
- I want to ask another fee, maybe by percentage for every transaction. E.g. 200USD worth of BCH, beside the 200USD  I'll ask 2% transaction fee. So they will pay me 204 USD.
OR no need to ask this kind of fee? I'll just add some amount of buy/sell price or on the spread. So they can be somehow thankful for no transaction fee.
4170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What price point will retailers buy up to (today) and do retailers even matter? on: December 18, 2020, 07:32:13 AM
Some also telling, who will gonna sell their Bitcoin at $20,000.
That's why for me, why Bitcoin did a quick run upto around $23,000+ after Bitcoin touched $20,000.
I was really wrong all over when I am waiting Bitcoin to $20,000 I am expecting a huge sell off from $19,500 - $20,000. Since I am thinking some may sold their Bitcoins to breakeven, this is for those people who was able to bought at peak last 2017. Or some may start to take profit.
But for me, even how Bitcoin is expensive this time, people will still buy Bitcoin.
4171  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Will be the next target of bitcoin in initially of 2021 ? on: December 18, 2020, 07:20:03 AM
I am really dumb this time.
I really expecting that Bitcoin will not create a new all-time-high before the this year end. But this time I will not underestimate Bitcoin. When we are talking $30,000 it is really possible this time, look when Bitcoin reach $20,000 it pumped upto around $23,000. This is hilarious, this kind of price action is something similar when Bitcoin trading around $12,000 - $15,000.
4172  Other / Beginners & Help / The best platform to use for buy and sell crypto on: December 18, 2020, 12:43:06 AM
I have some friends or relatives that are using some cryptocurrency for gambling.

I will be the buyer and seller of those cryptocurrency. Since they are using centralised exchange in our country to buy and sell their crypto, it is Coins.ph or Abra.

What I want to happen is they will come to me to buy or sell crypto personally with cash on hand transactions.

Major cryptocurrency they are using are: BCH or XRP

I am having a  problem how will I make possible that I will make some profits.
I am thinking I will use Binance Exchange for it, I'll deposit USDT on my spot account and use it if someone will buy, and I will also hold some cash if incase someone will sell their crypto to me personally.
- What will they get if they will transact to me is, they will save fees and time for buying since they will first go to some remittance center to deposit their cash or if they withdraw their cash from centralised exchange.

Is it good that I will base the price on centralised exchange I mentioned above, same buy/sell price? Or do I need to less more so they can save more?

Is using Binance is good for this? In terms of price, fees (trading/withdrawal).
Or there are any alternatives for it?
4173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: binance is cheating????? someone please explain on: December 17, 2020, 02:27:44 AM
Check your stop market trigger and take profit market trigger. Is it Mark price or Last Price.
(....)
This is my suspected problem at first I saw, but if you can see in the chart with the take profit price, it is already satisfied the marked price or last price. If you can see the chart, the candle already closed above the profit price or there is already wicks above the profit price.
What I heard on some problem on Binance, especially my friend mentioned me about this, like some few satoshi price or cents price, already triggering or not triggering the order.
4174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Discuss about SpiderDAO / built on Polkadot on: December 17, 2020, 02:17:17 AM
I am not a hater of Polkadot.
But projects these days under Polkadot seems still early, we all know what Polkadot can do and their goal or roadmap, they started to work on what Ethereum's problem or difficult to implement.
I also started to hunt some altcoins before that is under on Polkadot since I think I am already late to ride on Polkadot, but I changed my mind after I deep research the Polkadot itself. What I want to see first is a huge demand for Polkadot before the projects under it.
4175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high do you see Ethereum going this market cycle? on: December 17, 2020, 02:13:37 AM
The market cycle may be more precise on Bitcoin, but I started not to believe it on altcoins, especially on Ethereum.
Why? Because of this new all-time-high price of Bitcoin, which on the previous all-time-high of Bitcoin, around $19,000 at around Dec 2017, Ethereum tops around $1,000+. But look at now, still, around 50% from it's all-time-high.
I am still looking forward to this that it will happen more in the future.
4176  Economy / Speculation / Re: $25,000 can be achieved by end of year? Or January 2021? on: December 17, 2020, 02:10:52 AM
What I am worried about to happen is the same what happened last December 2017, which Bitcoin peaked at its all-time high, around $19,000, and starting on next year's January, Bitcoin started to drop and altcoin season was started, which a really huge run for altcoins before.
It's just speculation, I don't want it to happen again and it's more likely NOT will gonna happen especially on what Bitcoin did from $10,000 up to this current price, it's a more healthy price action compared to the previous all-time high, healthy pumps and corrections.
4177  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wallet/Exchange Combiner? on: December 17, 2020, 02:07:28 AM
If you're a full time trader whereas it totally makes sense to just leave funds on exchanges, you could probably use services such as TabTrader[1] for being able to trade using only 1 app(Disclaimer: I haven't used it for years, so do your due diligence), and Blockfolio[2] for portfolio tracking.
(....)
Agree, TabTrader may be useful if OP wants to trade actively. But I think OP just wants more on display and alerts, he/she just likely want to HOLD on some exchanges.
Bitcoin_Arena already suggested a lot of portfolio trackers, which really useful especially the Blockfolio and Delta portfolio manager. If OP wants another alternative, I can suggest Coinstats(https://coinstats.app/en/).

4178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC reached another ATH, what about ETH? on: December 17, 2020, 01:50:31 AM
This new all-time-high of Bitcoin is really different compare to the previous one (December 2017 - 2018) which we really saw the run of altcoins, especially the Ethereum.
If we follow the price action of previous Bitcoin's all-time-high, Ethereum should be now more than $1,000. But look, it's still around $600, around 50% from its all-time high.
Honestly, this is one of the reasons why I started to accumulate Ethereum before. That's why now I am thinking that, if I just bought Bitcoin instead of Ethereum before, I may more profitable. But it's okay, I can wait, Ethereum still got more room to grow.
4179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing : Reymart Gaballo vs Emmanuel Rodriguez on December 19th on: December 17, 2020, 01:44:35 AM
Raymart gaballo  23 wins 0 loss 0 draw. 5 6" height with 68" reach
Emmanuel Rodriguez 19 wins 1 loss 0 draw .same height  67" reach
the way it looks seems the Filipino Fighter has an advantage here,so any Odds released for this bout?and when is the exact date will happens.
Those two are both good fighters and can finish all the rounds with no problems since they've been training hard for the fight. the only question here is if they can manage to take each other punches cause that's where most fights concluded when someone is taking more damage than the other, the fight will likely end earlier than expected.
We can say that Emmanuel Rodriguez may want another win to regain his loss on his previous fight.
But Reymart Gaballo for sure don't want his record will become dirty, he will fight his being undefeated fighter, which this is very important for me. They got really close boxing records, more bouts on Gaballo, much experienced, age is not too far.
If boxer is undefeated, I am favor to it.
I agree with @Questat, this kinda be a win by KO, if you look at the KOs record of Reymart Gaballo, 86.96%, it is outstanding!
4180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Potential coins under 50 million dollars market cap? Can someone give me a hint? on: December 17, 2020, 01:37:22 AM
How many coins do you want?
Here's my advice to you;
  • Go to https://coinmarketcap.com/2/, if you check there, on page 2 of coinmarketcap list, there you can see the under 50,000,000 dollars market cap, around top 160+.
  • First, you can try to pick any altcoin there, you can pick by random or you can check them 1 by 1, like just skim their website or what about the project, your choice. Let's say you pick 20 altcoins.
  • After you pick your 20 altcoins, you can start to research them 1 by 1, their goal, what problem they want to solve, their roadmap, etc. Let's say, there are some out of 20, you don't want, then you can filter the most better for you, like 10 altcoins.
  • You already have 10 altcoins, then if you just want 5 altcoins, then you can do another round of filtering the 10 altcoins, deep research, ask some people, create a thread on some forum, dive to their community, etc.

I hope it will help, there are lot of altcoins that below 50 million dollars marketcap. From what I see, the less marketcap, the riskier. Just my 2 cents!
