The thing with investment advise from a total stranger is, that he is the one proifiting the most. he will buy before you, and sell before you.

as long as you make the amount promised does that matter Well, it is illegal ( not that anyone cares about that in here...) and yes, because if this thing gets bigger, the last guys to sell will be the bagholders. Just look at the volumes of his posted shares. 50million shares of a pennystock for 0.001-0.01 AUD. That means that on average maybe 250.000 AUD in value were traded (maybe even half if this program double counts). Now lets say he moves 20k himself, and 20k are his follower sheep. Than you have 40k invested at start, and maybe 200k at the end. He may very well be able to cashout his immense gains, but as the number of the stake of the followers grows, the chance for all of them to come out ahead will sink significantly. basically, noone will sell you btc for neteller. The reason is, that neteller hates btc transfers and that many scammers hack accounts and fund them with stolen credit cards. This leads to chargebacks and the sellers are always fucked. But maybe you find someone. Gl

I don't want to spread FUD in the official thread but I am quite dissapointed of NXT. They built a wondwrful coin with a lot of potential and new features but for some reasons it hasn't been the eevolytion in cryptocurrency that it was originally promised. And 3-4 months it is a lot of time in the crypto environment. Besides, NXT is totally dependent on BTC price fluctuation; which mean that even if the price goes up; the real value is limited by the convertion to BTC.
Thus, I almost convinced to, as soon market's open for NEM, to invest my NXTs in NEMs

Counterparty was the first to have asset issuance among other things and had the first Distributed Exchange. Completely open-source and fair. Counterparty, Mastercoin and Etherium are really the only long-term contenders for crypto. NXT will always be marred by its shitty distribution and rich-get-richer system. Counterparty is always on the first page of announcements, how do you guys not know about that yet? My opinion on nxt fee as I posted on the nxt thread just now:
All fees should be completely free to be chosen by the payer/sender. If he wants to send his money or issue assets for 0.000000000001 nxt fee so be it but he must be aware there are high chances of his transaction taking a really long time to be approved due to not being too good for forgers. This fee is too high and has nothing to do with the freedom nature that NXT should have. It's coercive and inefficient. IMO fees shouldn't be 0.01 or 1 or anything else forced but completely free to be chosen, just like bitcoin
fees should only be as high to prevent blockchain dusting and that's it. 1 fee to send money 1000 to issue assets is ridiculous it should be at least 0.01 and 10, but rewarding those who pay higher fees by making sure their transactions get approved much quicker than those who pay lower fees
(and I say all of this by being a big forger so this would affect me negatively but I still want it for NXT's future sake. people with 1% of nxt coins barely forge more than 15 blocks a day so even with nearly no fees being paid due to small transactions there still is a lot of forging and competition!)
Yes, you are completely right, the problem is, that the source does not allow fractional NXT right now. The main developer is currently rewriting it so that 0.00000001 NXT will be possible. Just stay tuned, we will release an update soonish |

I mined here for a few days, received a small payout and never received another payout. The pool's payout list shows I was sent other payouts, yet they've never been received. Much disappoint. Update : Well, now I'm happy. Today I received more than I expected from the previous mining. I'll give it another shot. The payouts are not automated until now afaik. So have some patience! You will always get paid. Even if the poolowner goes rougue , the community will bail the debt. |

I believe i would build a website for nearly all coins. The sites could be hosted on one server with different addresses and each site gives a little extra income and its only a bit of copy&paste. The problem is, that NXT is not a bitcoind/j/qt clone but a java application that is written from scratch. Many exchanges were not able to add this coin, thats why i am asking Dooglus , because he is kind of a magician |

As far as I'm concerned, you're not a human ad space till you tattoo yourself with an advertisement. If it's your forum signature space, you're a forum advertiser. Sure, but there are many viewpoints to this. Think about it that way: If someone posts his opinion and has no signature, do you value his opinion more or less , than someone with an ad? Most say, that the first persons opinion is "cleaner". He posted because he wanted, not because he just earned 40 cents.... Or perhaps he posted cause he wanted, and earned 40 cents in the process! Sure, that is my point too. But the heromembers seem to disagree. Anyway, discussion doesn't yield anything. So lets stop here and not spam this thread! |
