4161  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the new steam escrow system? on: December 11, 2015, 08:46:16 PM
I've got some items stuck in dispenser.tf at the moment(which is a site which is basically a marketplace where you can trade steam items and BTC).

I tried to read their updates but I don't get how the escrow will affect me. All I knew was that there will be a delay.

Then whats the point? Implementing a system just to delay trades?

Many people are not careful when they do steam trades, valve tries to protect them. E.g. the majority of "duped" items are from restored inventories.
4162  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the new steam escrow system? on: December 11, 2015, 08:03:08 PM
From what I read here[1] it will make trades vs. BTC less secure unless you can know this in advance somehow.

UPDATE:   As I was thinking is a resource thing, I need more memory, processor possibly a  bad-ass video-card, meanwhile I´ll try the --no-dupchecks command.

I´m using a quad core with 4gb Ram with a lame video card.

Code:
C:\btcrecover-master\btcrecover-master>btcrecover.py --wallet default_wallet --t
okenlist tokens.txt
Read additional options from tokenlist file: --autosave progress.sav --pause --t
ypos 1 --typos-case
Using autosave file 'progress.sav'
Counting passwords ...
44,700,000  ETA: 3 minutes and counting
btcrecover.py: error: out of memory
btcrecover.py: notice: the --no-dupchecks option will reduce memory usage at the
 possible expense of speed
Interrupted after counting 44700000 passwords

   Any sugestion is wellcome.

     Grettings

Do as it says and run it as:

Code:
btcrecover.py --wallet default_wallet --tokenlist tokens.txt --no-dupchecks

Sounds good to me I would like a few prices please, 1RuzkaBoy or 1RuzkaDog case sensitive which will probably cost a fortune lol Anyway 1ruzkaboy or 1ruzkadog not case sensitive. If they're to pricey or will take to long then 1Ruzka case sensitive? Look forward to hearing prices

Code:
1RuzkaBoy - exact case - a few years
1RuzkaDog - exact case - a few years
either of the above    - still too long
1ruzkaboy - w/o case    - 0.1778 btc (2-3 weeks)
1ruzkadog - w/o case    - 0.1778 btc (2-3 weeks)
1ruzkaboy or* 1ruzkadog - w/o case - 0.1011 btc (1-2 weeks)
1Ruzka - exact case - 0.0002 btc (1-2 hours)
* whichever is found first
4165  Other / Meta / Re: Hilarious bots posting nonsense: what's the point? on: December 11, 2015, 07:00:36 PM
Since captchas can be solved easily, how about we put up a few halting problems? Only for the first 10 posts.

No? Dont wana limit the board to people who can read code. ok, back to reporting.
4166  Other / Meta / Re: New posting bot on: December 11, 2015, 06:40:49 PM
Perma bans remove the signature and all profile info.

I guess in that case it makes no difference whether I remove the rating because they did not receive payment for the ponzi campaign or not. Thanks for clarifying.
4167  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: December 11, 2015, 06:30:16 PM
I have a question about generating vanity address.
Is there a way to generate address with rented hashes? (For example nicehash)
If yes, how ?

No, finding addresses is not the same as mining coins.
4168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoins "dissappread" after being transfered and not confirmed on: December 11, 2015, 06:27:57 PM
-snip-

maybe you have an easy guide for removing a TX from the wallet?

Thanks!

Sure, keep in mind though that you can only remove the TX from your wallet. This will not effect the network and the transaction might still get confirmed. If its confirmed it will reappear in your wallet with the block.

Removing tx from wallet.

#1 stop bitcoin core
#1.1 make sure its closed
#2 start bitcoin core with -zapwallettxes
#2.1 for windows you do this by opening "run" (Win + R), entering the following (modify path if needed) and confirm with "OK"
Code:
c:\Program Files\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe -zapwallettxes
#3 let bitcoin core do its thing, it will relearn about all confirmed transactions.

Looks like its happily syncing to me.

Edit: Do the windows log files (in event viewer) show anything?

Roll Eyes That guy was pleading with me to remove the negative feedback I left on him for making some of the worst posts I've ever seen. Banned.

Did you also remove their signature or was this done prior?
4171  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: December 11, 2015, 11:55:42 AM
I tried running vanity gen in order to get an address with the prefix 1King1 but it was showing that I'll have to wait for 10 days in order to reach a probability of 50% only! Shocked

I think my processor sucks! (Intel Core 2 Duo) Cry

Moreover the gen makes my computer laggy most of the times. I can't even open Task Manager!

If you a decent GPU try running oclvanitygen it might take significant less time.
4172  Economy / Lending / Re: ranochigo's MINI loans [Optional Collateral] [No Interest] on: December 11, 2015, 11:51:01 AM
I yesterday got a PM from ranochigo to take a look at their loans while they are away for a while. It will not change anything for you, repay to the addresses you have been given. I will check the addresses from time to time and if needed issue a warning to the community in case of a default (72 hours seems to be the grace period ranochigo gives you).

4173  Other / Meta / Re: Why this infographic is not showing up ? on: December 11, 2015, 11:27:51 AM

probably because of anony.ws it works via imgur.

its to 2 hours and still not get even 1 confirmation... i need the bitcoin now
Are there another way to speeding up the transaction?

No.
4175  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Vanity Addresses! on: December 11, 2015, 10:40:59 AM

Well its a donation, I usually cut off to "donation" at 0.0001 btc. I would probably accept a single satoshi since Im not asking for a specific amount.

Alright then. I'll give you donation but you'll have to wait for 20 hours because I have initiated a transfer from my Coinbase's cold wallet to my hot wallet, and it takes 24 hours to process due to security reasons. I'm sorry for that but Coinbase couldn't initiating a faster transfer. So will you please generate the address for me and I'll definitely pay you after I receive the funds into my hot wallet?

I will start as soon as I have a public key and a TX ID from you with the donation.

What do you mean with "series of some addresses"?

While generating address for 1King won't you get more address starting with 1King? Or only one address? I asked if you could give me all the addresses generated at certain time. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks.

Vanitygen will stop after the first hit, unless I explicitly tell it to continue. If you are looking for a bulk deal, e.g. 20 addresses starting with 1king or 1King I can offer you a price according to the number of addresses. Most of the work in this case would be me switching public keys and making sure that I dont mess something up.
4176  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Vanity Addresses! on: December 11, 2015, 10:22:37 AM

None of my addresses are free unless there is a giveaway. I can do 1king or 1King for a donation though. 1kingalt has an "small L" in it, which is an invalid char for base58.

Alright so how much in donations do you need actually ? I want series of some addresses with 1King.

Hallo,

Kostenlos - also y not? Cheesy

Thnak you for the reply, and i am no troll Smiley

this is the transaction Id: 9ba164d2f43457a8ef6e352a2a700b12b0275370b0ea835222076458be06002a-000 however i was not able to find it anywhere.  i am using Bitcoin Core Version v0.11.0 (64-Bit)

this whole thing makes me feel somehow unsure....  Huh
any ideas what could have happend?

as i wrote the check mark on the left to the transaction shows a question mark and not a confirmed "check"

grateful for any ideas...

In core do:

Help -> Debug Window -> Console and enter:

Code:
getrawtransaction 9ba164d2f43457a8ef6e352a2a700b12b0275370b0ea835222076458be06002a

it should return a long code. If it does you can use the code with decoderawtransaction to see your transaction and use it with sendrawtransaction to rebroadcast the transaction.

If core does return an error (e.g. No information available about transaction (code -5)) the best course of action might be to remove the TX from the wallet.
4179  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Vanity Addresses! on: December 11, 2015, 09:58:51 AM
What!? 1king111 has a diff of 51,529,903,411,245 Shocked

Why digits are more difficult to find than alphabets?

1's are more difficult because they represent a number of 0's in binary.

BTW, what about 1king or 1King or 1kingalt ?

Which one would be free among these three. No offence but I don't just wanna pay for a vanity Tongue Also this is my first time experience with a vanity address that's why.

None of my addresses are free unless there is a giveaway. I can do 1king or 1King for a donation though. 1kingalt has an "small L" in it, which is an invalid char for base58.

#1.3 let it do its thing, the TX is gone when its done.
#2 wait 24 hours or longer
#2.1 I said wait 24 hours, dont skip this
#3 issue a new tx.
