Since you are well aware of Bitcoin volatility then there is no other major risk. But you have to choose the right payment gateway. Because there is risk involved if you use a custodial payment gateway. Most probably it would be better if you use BTCPay server to accept Bitcoin & other altcoins as well. All the control will be with you if you set your own server. You may also use their third party server as well if you don't have much technical knowledge. It's a self-hosted, open-source cryptocurrency payment processor. Additionally, you may add a few peer-to-peer bitcoin exchange links on your site. So those aren't familiar with the bitcoin they would learn about it and they could buy bitcoin to make a payment on your site. In this way, you are keeping your role in the Bitcoin adoption. |

So excited! I don't know how should I express my feelings. I have achieved my desired rank (Legendary). Last night before going to bed noticed it and was so excited to share my feelings with the community. It wasn't really an easy task to become a Legendary member after implement the merit system. I think some of you may know me how I struggle to become an established member of this forum.

To be honest, team photos aren't important for a truly decentralized platform. Decentralized means there is no third party control. But due to many scam projects, investors are looking for a potential team. We can't compare all coins with the bitcoin, so if there is a good team behind any project either they use a photo or not, then it's good for investors. But using a fake team means they are a scammer, and there is something bad on their mind who is behind the story. So eventually, I want to say, no matter if there so no photos is the project is doing well. But for the new project, definitely, it's a hard task to say who is good.

A single report for unsolicited PM is enough for a temporary ban. Your idea isn't bad, but I don't think this way, we can prevent scammers. Forum registration almost free, so they would dare to create multiple accounts. And who knows if they have multiple accounts from the beginning? On the other support flags would be manipulated as well, so determine a real scam would be complicated for moderators which would raise questions about moderators transparency. Since feedback is visible on the message, so would help to prevent scams. Those are greedy, you can't save them anyway...

Now it's become quite complicated to judge connected accounts only based on transaction history. They probably sell each other or there is someone reselling. We assume they are connected but who knows the real story. It wouldn't be prohibited dealing with each other out of the forum even they use a forum account. But if there is some other link with each other like a social account or uses the same address then a red tag would be appropriate. I think coinlocket$'s neutral feedback is fine in that case.
Anyway, we can leave only our opinion, you have to explain and convince @icopress to reconsider your feedback. He is the only one who could help you because no one else can remove feedback except him. Perhaps admin could remove but most probably he wouldn't bother for such as case.

The bitcoin ecosystem is fully based on the Bitcoin community. This is a decentralized cryptocurrency. So we can't imagine its scam, and we can't imagine what will happen if it's become a scam as well. I am not preparing what will happen after the scam, but I am preparing how I will accumulate more bitcoin for the future. Bitcoin is adopting continuously, and the community has been increasing rapidly. So even it doesn't come into my dream that Bitcoin will be a scam.

This isn't a proper use of the trust system, since the admin does not like to moderate spams by trust system, which means the negative feedback isn't appropriate. But if you ask my honest opinion then you just deserve a ban instead of negative feedback. Because who doesn't care even campaign has been ended and apply there he is a pure spammer. I believe such as spam should treat as a temp ban. I have to say you are so lucky since your account hasn't been banned.

As I can see there are still users who are wearing signature and still, people are applying in the campaign, These people do not care who is running the campaign, what things they need to check before applying to any campaign. For those people, I think we can write a detailed post, and every time they apply on such a campaign we give them neutral feedback with that educational link.
Let them do it whatever they want. That's their time and they have the right to waste it anywhere. We can just create awareness, they are the ones who have to follow. Even there are many red tags on the manager profile but participants do not care. So they deserve the loss of their time. I don't want to leave neutral feedback for them, it's just a waste of time. Also, I would request if we can create such a rule that if a scammer/ imposter launches such a campaign he should get a flag and if that flag gets enough votes, mods should lock the thread, to avoid further entries.
It would be great, but doubts moderators will be involved with it since scam isn't moderated by the forum. But we may raise a flag to warn peoples. |

Come on guys... that there are so many users joining this fake HEX signature campaign is embarrassing for our community on so many levels. Not only that users don't care if there is an escrow who is securing the funds or if it's a brand-new account with no reputation at all. They also don't care if it's a self-moderated thread or if the signature codes were made so badly that they don't even work properly.
Who cares? Even managers have got multiple red tags, no one bothering to read them. I don't think any reputed participants will participate in this campaign who cares about their valuable time. Participants even do not use common sense before applying to the campaign. They thought they will just get paid for their post. It's good if they could earn but in this case, eventually, they will regret it. The manager deleted my warning on their campaign, which is more shady behavior. Really suspicious brand new account managing high pay campaign with self-moderated thread. Let's wait a week, everything will come out. Probably I would revise my feedback if they paid their participants accordingly, but doubts, it wouldn't happen. Who can save you if you don't want to save yourselves? |

Nah, that isn't a new way to cheat with Bitcoin, this is a very old scam method. It has been a long time since this type of scam happening and peoples are spamming via personal messages from various social media. Obviously, those send such as message they are too much greedy and they just need financial gain, doesn't matter if other people lose funds.
Those fall into such a scam they are greedy as well. We always try to become quick rich which isn't possible really. We should remember there is no money-making machine that can multiply your assets. Just use your sense and save your assets.

Perhaps this thread would help you! Finally used a bitcoin ATM successfully . Since you are from the US you may withdraw your cash. Although fees would be quite higher, but you should withdraw your fund without hassle. Just try it first with a small amount. Have you tried to sell peer to peer? You may sell your bitcoin on the forum as well from currency exchange section as @Maus0728 said. For that, you need to use a trusted escrow from the forum if the buyer isn't trusted enough. |
