What are your thoughts on Broncos vs. Jets TNF matchup tomorrow, who wins?

a/ Jets
b/ Denver
c/ people who won't watch the game
I feel like the Jets will win against the Broncos. At first I really favor the Broncos in this matchup but now that you mentioned they're starting with their third string QB I think they're in a dire spot here. With that said i'm taking the Jets here and hopefully they get their first win.

I put in the same bet (Jets to win ML @ 1.97). The odds have moved a bit in the last few hours from -2 Denver to now almost even. Maybe that means too much money was coming in on the Denver side of the bet. Not a whole lot to do today so I might as well give it a watch. This will be the first time I've rooted for the Jets in... possibly ever.
4162  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: October 01, 2020, 09:42:45 PM
This is just a small heads-up: I just reported all the posts (actually not all, but >99% of them) made by the 20 users mentioned by nutildah in that Excel file (around 350 posts). All of them were deleted by the mods already and the accounts are as clean as Brand New Smiley I'll take a look later over the other links mentioned below nutildah's post.

Wow, great going, that's a lot of posts! Out of curiosity, when you report the posts, what comment do you give in your report? Do you write "Spam" or... what do you write? My top labels for reports of bumpers are:

low value post
spam
off-topic

sometimes if a post is particularly bad I'll write:

zero value post

"Low value post" seems to be my go-to.
4163  Economy / Reputation / Re: Another ANN bumping group+ Interesting merit transfers on: October 01, 2020, 09:39:00 PM
While keeping an eye on IndexChain and Relictum ANNs that are currently being bumped by one of those services , i noticed group of accounts that are working together for quite some time through various threads, and that have interesting merit history.

First let's see their  post activity on various ANNs, that all used bumping services.

Accounts
Pastrana
6eTxoBeH
WerSalit
Gucci Flip Flops
Vlone
camerali
Drugs?
Oprah

This farm is back, now spamming for a project called UCACOIN. I'm gonna go ahead and tag all of them. One tag wasn't enough to stop them but maybe 2 will be, who knows.

Here's a few recent additions to this particular farm, some of which have also commented in the IndexChain thread:

IgorDV
Scrachit
kossvet
yurikkk
Bad Lightyear
Timothy Martinez
Sheesh
Virgil YNWA
Sarah Snyder
Zillakami
conceptinion
Fevy
kuzmich12

Like the other merited accounts in this farm, most merit for this farm was obtained from Basorexia.
4164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The IRS offers reward to anyone able to break Monero and the LN on: October 01, 2020, 04:49:36 AM
Reward is $625,000? Wouldn't you make lot's of more money if you shorted monero with all the possible leverage right before giving the info? I mean it wouldn't be ethical but one could argue that breaking monero and giving the info to IRS is not ethical either. Or would that be considered insider trading?

Certainly you do both! Its not considered insider trading if its not a registered security.

Well, the reward collecting is going to be a public ceremony I would imagine -- news of your newly-discovered Monero vulnerability will break before you have the chance to plunge your reward money into a highly-leveraged short. So you'll have to borrow funds, which wouldn't be as easy. But you can still use your reward money to capitalize on the fallout -- it would likely take a long time for the price of XMR to completely unwind.

It would honestly be more practical to build something that monitors all Lightning Network transactions to trace where funds are going. But I have some drinking to do, so you guys have at it.
4165  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: paxfull.com - scam site / "BIG" company makes a mockery of your privileges on: October 01, 2020, 04:35:49 AM
I looked at an old version of their Terms of Service page and found that they've said they may request KYC from customers since at least March 2020:

Quote
The information we request may include certain personal information, including, but not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth, social security number, taxpayer identification number, and a government identification.

It looks like they made the change around that time. Even though they should, I don't think they will release the funds to you without ID at this point; it might have been a different story in April or May.
4166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoins on: October 01, 2020, 04:16:02 AM
Hello.

I would like to buy Bitcoins at the price of 2013-14 to gain back the lost Coins. If Bitcoin is not possible to be bought than maybe Litecoin? Dogecoin? Please, i need your aid my friends. You are all i have left.

This is not a plea to buy bitcoin at 1% its current price, but a perplexing tale of intrigue. What happened in the mystery of the Lost Coins? And why settle for 2013 prices -- might as well go back to 2010, or even 2009 because why not, its a fantasy. I'm glad you're open minded enough to consider complete strangers to be "friends," so sure, we can be friends why not.
4167  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: September 30, 2020, 11:27:42 PM
This seems like a business opportunity. What do I need to do to get sued by faketoshi? I take it calling him a lying piece of shit is not enough?

You need to:

- be a social media influencer
- call him a fraud repeatedly
- not live in the U.S. or other country with lax libel laws

Going by the precedents set by the other cases, I'd just have to assume McCormack is in the clear at this point, after several other courts have roundly decided that Wright enjoys no notable reputation that could be tarnished.
4168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: September 30, 2020, 03:46:22 AM
I say their Telegram is trash because they don't allow any criticism. If you don't talk about how great it is.... Ban..

Complain about anything.....ban.. And they all laugh.

Look at the history.... No negative comments= censored circle jerk

...

For Crypto...

...Telegram is trash

Its good to hold out for some standards and wanting to maintain freedom of speech; I think transparency goes a long way for any project, so does being able to accept criticism in order to better your product. Maybe try to get the thread for your project happening here and encourage people to migrate there from Telegram.
4169  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: September 29, 2020, 08:01:13 AM
I don't think its a bad idea to tag bumper accounts if one feels strongly about it... I think it definitely solidifies the case for a tag if the same bumping service was found to have been bumping a scam project in the past.
This is not entirely true, since we do not know who is running the "Bumping services", and we cannot know if their accounts have already received warnings or red flags.

Frequently this is the case but sometimes you do know who is running the bumping service. Let me introduce you to Vitor Services. Whats interesting about them is some of their testimonials were written by team members of projects which had hired them here on the forum, so it was easy to trace them to that particular bumping service.

Furthermore, sometimes batches of accounts will overlap from thread to thread; meaning that it is possible to connect which threads have hired the service based on the accounts posting in them. Here is the best way to demonstrate a spam farm, by demonstrating the overlap between threads and the cluster of accounts:

4170  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ANN Removal Request: Uncommonn, Amepay, MSKMINER, Monolith on: September 29, 2020, 07:38:26 AM
It would be great if mods start to do that, but when I see COINSBIT ANN thread, somehow I don't think that will happen. Coinsbit is proven scam, having Flags Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 active, both you and @Jollygood (and a few others) were tagging their accounts. According to https://loyce.club/archive/topics/518/5185065.html more than 500 posts have been deleted from that thread (archive shows 3965 while there are 3411 at the moment). It's obvious to everyone what is going there and despite all that, thread is still there. I did the same in some threads, reporting hundreds of posts and getting them deletes, but nothing happened. True, I haven't tried this approach, trying to get them deleted as I though I don't have evidence strong enough to do that. At least not in most cases.

I just know that sometimes threads are deleted if pretty much every single comment in them is mindless spam and there isn't any organic activity going on within it. With the Coinsbit spammers, at least they post information about the exchange, like updates and such. Threads just full of comments like "when moon sir" are more ripe for deletion by mods.
4171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DAG + Smart Contracts] Constellation | Horizontally Scalable Hylochain on: September 29, 2020, 03:07:51 AM
OP is legendary but is it a REAL account or bought......hrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm???

I checked it out and its his legit account -- been a German speaker the whole time, even when they were part of the ChipMixer campaign. Unfortunately I don't have anything else to add to this conversation, LOL. Sounds like it could potentially be an interesting project, or not, don't quote me.
4172  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ANN Removal Request: Uncommonn, Amepay, MSKMINER, Monolith on: September 29, 2020, 12:56:57 AM
I know that the mods won't remove topics based on user requests, but they might remove one if there are enough bad reports made in the thread. I'll take a look at it in a bit and examine the connections, see if I can report some posts, but this is a good find.
4173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any suggestion in investment in Defi coins/tokens on: September 29, 2020, 12:51:34 AM
I'm gonna take this in a different direction and recommend the only long or short term DeFi project I have confidence in, and that's Bitcoin (BTC). As far as decentralizing one's own finances is concerned, the Bitcoin Network is by far the most decentralized in terms of global node count. In general, there's no safer option when it comes to taking control of your own finances, and while the real-world infrastructure simply isn't in place for most DeFi projects, it is in place for Bitcoin (more than any other coin, that is).

Pros:

  • Largest user & merchant base in the world
  • Secured by more computing power than all other coins combined
  • Greatest amount of volume, stability

Cons:

  • Nothing to farm
  • No 1000% in 1 week gains
  • Not tradeable on UniSwap

Bitcoin, for all your DeFi needs.* "We're already here."

*do you actually have any "DeFi needs," or are you just looking for some of those super sweet gainz?
4174  Other / Archival / Re: [DeFi EXIT SCAM] HATCH DAO on: September 28, 2020, 09:32:40 PM
Not very surprising but their website and twitter are down already... The token price has been in a freefall (from $3.67 on Sept. 23rd to its current price of $0.0157). Just reading through some of the rekt traders comments on twitter about this, and people who called it for what it was early on:

Some great games this weekend.

Going to make a pick for tomorrow and that is Ravens ML @ 1.6x. Even though the Chiefs are also 2-0, Ravens look better across the board, have just been putting up bigger numbers on offense. Chiefs D may contain the Ravens' scoring within the spread of 3.5, which is why I'm playing it safe with the ML. Also, Chiefs have a lot of injuries right now, and players recovering from injuries. Think the Ravens got this one for sure, we'll see...
4176  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: September 27, 2020, 10:09:06 PM
I don't think its a bad idea to tag bumper accounts if one feels strongly about it... I think it definitely solidifies the case for a tag if the same bumping service was found to have been bumping a scam project in the past. But in general, its the scams that tend to employ these types of services; whether or not the project account deserves a red tag I think should be based on more than simply using bumping services. In most instances it won't be hard to find evidence pointing to a scam -- its good to buffer a rating with additional evidence.
4177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: September 27, 2020, 08:27:41 PM
Pretty crazy finish to the Rams / Bills game. After being down quite a bit early on, the Rams went on a late game scoring spree and managed to get ahead for a few, sweet minutes. It was all ultimately for not as the Rams had a dumb penalty on a crucial last minute play and made it a shoe-in for the Bills.

I put in one easy bet: ML on Buccaneers. It's not a big payout but I just don't see them losing this game -- not in this universe or through much of the multiverse.
4178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BITCOIN CASH] Development on: September 25, 2020, 02:17:34 AM
I think the developer of bitcoin cash is now trying to be more competitive in the marketplace knowing that there are many new altcoins which is very hyping at the moment such as uniswap and chainlink, this is really a good move for them to make a hype as well so many people can also acknowledge them as one of the best top rank cryptocurrency.

Not really; they can say goodbye to their top 10 position after the fork as the market cap will be split into 2 separate, competing Bitcoin Cash's. On November 15th 2018, the day of the last hard fork, Bitcoin Cash was $420 a coin. Today BCH is $215 and BSV is $155, so those two coins combined don't equal the price of BCH pre-fork. There's no reason to think this time around will be any different.

On a side note, it would be a perfect opportunity for Roger Ver to finally drop the word "Bitcoin" from the name of his coin (seeing as how BCH is obviously not replacing BTC as the Bitcoin, as was his claim and rationale behind keeping the name "Bitcoin"), but being as dishonest and greedy as he is, there's no chance of him actually doing that.

As another aside, BCH is currently at all-time lows against BTC.

Fitzmagic vs. Minshew Mania, the facial hair showdown on TNF  Grin

Probably not the matchup everyone wants to see but at least it's going to be a high scoring game, 300+ passing yards and multiple touchdowns each.
I have two prop bets, James Robinson over 72.5 rush yards and Gesicki over 55.5 receiving yards, have of both of them in my fantasy team this week, i hope i don't get double the disappointment tonight lol  They did well over the weekend though:

- J.Robinson 16CAR, 102YDS, 1TD vs. Titans
- Gesicki 11 TGTS, 8REC, 130YDS, 1TD vs. Bills

Good luck! I almost put a bet in for JAX to cover (-2.5) but changed my mind at the last second. That probably means they'll win by a lot now. Lol. Good 'ol Florida vs. Florida -- you know they'll have as many fans in attendance as possible, which I kind of prefer to empty stands and fake crowd noise, even if some of them statistically have to die of covid in a few weeks (not so LOL).
4180  Economy / Reputation / Re: nutildah twisted retard who abuse the trust system on: September 24, 2020, 11:30:54 AM
The explanation is very simple.

You use the same language and exhibit the exact same behavior as other known scammers:

Rambotnic
Boombl4
Old Samurai
Psomus

he is back

username - SamuelJobs
profile - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2833032

Once again, you called it. SamuelJobs is Rambotnic aka Boombl4 aka Old Samurai aka Psomus.

Same brash, egotistical, heartless style. Same MO. Didn't change it one bit:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277768.msg55253058#msg55253058

Just to aware everyone around, this indian scammer wanted to sell XRP.
I suggested escrow and look what's next...
https://prnt.sc/umm257

NEVER EVER DEAL THIS GUY WITHOUT FORUM ESCROW.
Otherwise, he may scam even your 1 cent.

More info can be found in his flag support here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153445.new#new

You are definitely Robotnic / OldSamourai / psomus, and probably a few other scammer accounts.

No question.

I know exactly what your MO is. You pose as being someone who is looking out for the community in order to build "cred." But when someone does agree to use escrow, you pretend to be the escrower and insist the deal be completely done through telegram. Then you steal the user's funds under the false pretext that they didn't understand the deal.

It's only a matter of time before you scam somebody else, get caught, disappear, and come back with a new account. You're not nearly as clever as you think you are.

Tagging him now.

In a few hours I expect my trust wall to have some new reds with him calling me a pedophile.

What a wonderful human being.  Roll Eyes

You've probably had many more accounts on the forum and I think I know at least one concurrent one right now. I think you know I know who it is as well. Just waiting for you to slip up with it so I can add it to the list.

Basically what he does (in each account) is heavily emphasize "forum escrow", but then should he find a victim that he strings along far enough on Telegram, he pretends to be an inactive forum escrow like Monbux or SebastianJu and contacts the victim also on Telegram. They have a 3-way chat and he runs off with the victim's money, usually trying to blame the victim in the process. As can be seen in the comment above, sometimes he simply invents other lame excuses to scam people.

If anybody else has any reasonable questions about how I came to this conclusion (that they are all alts), please feel free to ask. This guy is one of the worst types of people on the forum, if not the planet, and they have no place here.
