Thanks for those results. I pretty much agree with everything you said there except for where noted below.

bitcoincaptcha.org
they pay. last payments I didnt received 3 days (the faucet is probably now empty)

I have never received a payment from there which is why it is not on my list.

Quote
netlookup.se/free-bitcoins/
do not waste time, did not receive a payment with 10+ requests in last 14 days ! SCAM

I use a unique address to test these sites and I have been getting payments from this one. I don't know
what is wrong in your case.

Quote
bunnyrun.co.cc
ESET antivirus is blocking the site. Could not test it (they should move away from co.cc domain  Grin)

I have had no problems or warnings in regard to bunnyrun.

They have some problems at the moment. Outgoing transactions are not relayed to the network.

You can make a json export of the transaction, but I don't know of any websites where you can paste the json export. Is there an easy way to convert the json export to a raw transaction we can paste at blockchain.info?

They had that problem for the past month...

The first Time i encountered it was on 15th August.

Does this happen for all attempts to send BTC from ones Coinbase account?  Or does it work sometimes?
I am wondering if there is any sense in me trying it again?

btcfree.net do they ever have payouts now? Or I'm always late for like 2-3 weeks?
Never seen them funded myself either...

They payout if they are not empty. They just have been empty now for a long time.
4168  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Free Bitcoins Listing on: September 15, 2012, 03:38:03 PM
like bunny run, is there any chance to win there ?  Grin

You mean as in have your pick come in first place ( because you should get a payout even if it comes in last )?

Over the long run you should come in first 25% of the time.  See nima's post above:

And after a day you will most likely get a message like this:

Quote
On [ Date ] you sent [ X ] BTC to  [ address ]. This transaction was still unconfirmed by the bitcoin network after 24 hours so we've removed it and restored the amount to the original sender.

Sorry for the trouble on that! We've been notified about the problem and are working to prevent unconfirmed transaction chains like this in the future.

Thanks for bearing with us while we work out a few issues in beta.

Kind regards

The Coinbase Team

I was watching that address at blockchain.info and there was no activity at all.  They also don't give you an option, as far as I can see, to add a fee to the transaction.

So it seems they just don't want you to withdraw your money.    Angry

Why assume I am arguing?   Wink

Interesting to see this thread, as I just started reading the Denationalization of Money book today.  The following made me think he'd be sceptical about bitcoin as a concept until he saw it actually working (which it now is):

Quote
It is probably impossible for pieces of paper or other tokens
of a material itself of no significant market value to come to be
gradually accepted and held as money unless they represent a
claim on some valuable object.

It seems to me Bitcoin has significant value as a way of safely, quickly, and inexpensively, sending money globally between people, without interference from governments or other parasitic agencies.

I'm not going to lie or pretend to be someone who is not shady about the idea of buying BTC.
because i am.
If anyone can inform me how I can get some BTC without doing to much. That would be nice.

BTCFree.net seems to not have any money, and throws a bunch of ads that are slow to load and lock up your browser a bit, and popups.

The rest of them appear to be running fine.

BTCrate has money  and

Daily Bitcoins, still is running strong.   This is a good one to pay attention to folks,  they have multiple pay outs, about once and hour and are paying NICE bonus' too.
For those who like to donate to help support these sites, this is one you should consider.  No I do not know the owner or have any vested interest but YES I DO like trying for the big fat jackpot payouts!!

Aaron

Yes it has been a long time since BTCFree has been filled up.  I don't get any popups since I have popup blockers etc.

paperco.in/faucet has been empty for quite a while now too.

BitCrate is empty at the moment, but it does seem to get filled daily it seems.

I've donated to some of these sites, mostly paperco.in/faucet.

Thanks for the input Ascholten.

4176  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase doing good job on: September 14, 2012, 08:58:46 PM
coinbase is NOT doing a good job. I try to withdraw some coins since the 18th and all i get is a pending transaction and 24 hours later an email that my coins are refunded because my transaction is still pending.
It is ridiculous.

I am trying to withdraw some BTC from there as well... and still waiting.

There is no sign of any transaction for the address I am trying to send to at blockchain.info so they are just refusing to send it for some reason.   Angry

Bunny Run added to the OP.

ESET blocked that site for me.

Does it give any information on why it has blocked that site?

I have had no complaints from my AV.

Anyone else having problems with the site?

nope, no message as to why.

There was a report in the Bunny Run thread that it was blocked since the co.cc domain carry some other crappy sites.
Guess cheap is not always good  ;}

Thanks for the info.

Thanks for this list. These free Bitcoins sites helped me gain a better understanding of how bitcoins work.
Thank you, I got my first milibitcoins in those sites.
Thanks for the great post. Bumpbumpkrump

You're all welcome.  Thanks for the feedback.   Smiley
