4161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best wallet for Crypto Sportbooks deposits/withdrawals? on: August 15, 2021, 03:42:07 AM
There are some wallets that deposits and withdrawals from/to casino are against to their TOS. So you might want to read them, or you will got the chance of your balance being frozen, that's inconvenient.

I've been using Mycelium wallet, until now, everything is going really well.
Those type of wallets are usually the custodial ones so it's best to avoid using them directly as a hot wallet. Mycelium on the other hand is a non custodial wallet meaning you have full control over every address you make and it doesn't matter if the funds came from casinos or other services.

Gambling sites have inbuilt wallet and vault. It helps with the unwanted spending on different bets in terms of transaction fee. There is a talk that gambling sites will cheat the users which is true. But, the same won't be done by the reputed platforms. Whether it is an exchange or a gambling site, it is good to enable all the security features available, in specific 2FA. This will add more security to the Holdings.
The vault is only good if you're a gambling on a regular basis but not everyone is that type of gambler. In general, using gambling sites to store funds isn't the best idea as it's similar to using exchanges in terms of security there's still a risk of losing funds.
4162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 15, 2021, 01:29:11 AM
From what i've seen a lot of streamers were promoting crypto casinos so there's definitely an impact but I feel like this change doesn't have that much effect because they could still promote their links indirectly by using a different platform like discord for example. I guess it's a step in the right direction for twitch as a lot of viewers are against gambling streams but they need to put in more restrictions if they really want to stop scams for good.
4163  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for a football club to move from one football league to another on: August 15, 2021, 12:29:56 AM
Change in ownership or management maybe but moving an entire club to a different domestic league would never happen because if one club gets away with this type of transfer then the other club would probably do the same. It'll cause more issues as the bigger teams would stick to the most competitive league available and domestic leagues would start to lose its value. I think the people writing these news are just desperate to get some views since there's no good reason in allowing football clubs to switch just because they want to.
4164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 14, 2021, 07:42:33 AM
Can anything stop you from gambling...maybe your family, friends, circumstances or even your losses?
For me yes there's a lot of ways to stop my gambling activity when i'm that desperate, i've been there at one point where i'd try out different casinos every other day and it took me a while to cool off. Losing is one way around it but you're better off looking for other options like another activity that would kill most of your time. It takes a lot of effort to pull it off because the hardest part is accepting and realizing the losses you've made throughout your gambling journey.
4165  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 14, 2021, 12:51:34 AM
Is it just me, or does Roobet no longer require users to fill out mandatory KYC?

I never filled in my personal data and I stopped using the site many months ago. Today, I returned to the site, but I don't see a KYC pop-up as before.
Has there been any official communication about this?
I think the mandatory KYC only applies to new users but there are different levels to what personal info they require though.

In my case I was only required to do a level 1 KYC they only required your full name, address, birthdate and mobile number.

Also congrats to Roobet on launching their sportsbook. I saw the announcement from the telegram channel.  Cheesy
4166  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Predict the BTC price ↕️ 500 mBTC prize pool 🚀 on: August 13, 2021, 07:20:40 PM
Hey guys,

Another giveaway also on our Telegram channel.
Take a look and make your BTC price predictions: HERE.
I've just submitted my entry and thanks for mentioning the giveaway.

The new games you've suggested was great, enjoyed playing starburst it didn't have a lot of extra features like jammin jars 2 but the wild respins have the potential for big wins.

After testing these games I might give in to the app promo, been itching for a few rounds of blackjack.  Cheesy
4167  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is Satoshi Dice Still Fair? on: August 13, 2021, 06:20:16 PM
With those winning roll changes that means they've adjusted their house edge but that doesn't mean they're not fair just because the win chance they've mentioned in the site is slightly off.

What if they just want to make things look clean that's why they rounded off the value.

The site was went offline for quite long time before came back again in gambling industry (seems with new owner).
The current owner is somewhat reputable though they also own bitcoinvideocasino (if you've heard that site).
4168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 13, 2021, 06:42:49 AM
devastating for LSB. 6 wins in a row and then they lose to one of the worst teams in the league :/ i saw the other one at 1.6 odds earlier today but didn't pull the trigger, 1.8 was good value...avoid multis, my dude  Cheesy
Can't help it heh  Grin it's been a while since I was that confident but LSB failed me it's frustrating how they forced lucian mid twice in a row. Before that I thought Suning would be the one to crush my parlay as they're close to getting swept after choking the first game then received a one sided stomping from LNG in the second game it took them two losses before waking up then things went south on the other leg and the rest is history.  Tongue

Speaking of LEC playoffs i'm locking in Rogue -1.5@1.66 my only reason for this pick is based on how well Misfit would clash against the tougher teams. They're able to take down every team below the standings but their record is somewhat abysmal against the top 3 with 1win and 5 loss.
4169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best wallet for Crypto Sportbooks deposits/withdrawals? on: August 13, 2021, 04:47:18 AM
I dont really get what you mean with the bold part of your statement. Do you mean to say transferring money between gambling sites like I withdraw from duelbits and deposit it directly to rollbit? If you say so, I do not think there is a site that restrict such activity because I do not see any reasons why gambling sites restricts their player to deposit from other gambling sites.
I guess it's possible for some casinos to link the hot wallets whenever they withdraw from site to the other but from my experience sending funds directly shouldn't be an issue though it's better to use non custodial for miner fee reasons.

Can anyone tell me how will centralized know that the funds came from a gambling site?  I'm only seeing threads before that someone claimed their account got frozen because funds came from a gambling site but no proof that the site itself tells their users that's the exact reason. Coinbase for example but not seeing cases like that in Binance. I think there is another reason why their account got frozen and not because the money was coming from a gambling site.
Because there's a way to track and label the casino's hot wallet for example if you check wallet explorer you'd see publicly labeled addresses between crypto casinos and other services. What more if there's a paid service that offers more links between casinos.
4170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Paralympic Games? Ethical or not? on: August 12, 2021, 05:06:32 PM
Ok, you make a good point, but I still feel it will be rude to bet on Sports where people are disabled. There should not be anything wrong with people watching Sport where disabled people compete, but betting on it.. is taking it a little bit too far?

In any way, will bookmakers and casinos agree on betting on the Paralympics... or will they think it is too controversial to allow bets to be placed on disabled people?
They'd probably offer it as long as the market is available from their providers. I guess it depends on how you view betting because for me it's one way to root for them as i'm expecting them to win and if they lose i'd just move on.

I don't think it's that controversial since this event is going on for years and imo it'll take more than controversy to sway the decision of bookmakers since they've been adding crazier betting events like that slapping tournament.
4171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Is Gambling Seen As An Irresponsible Act In Some Society on: August 12, 2021, 04:11:48 PM
It's because a lot of people can't control themselves and just like with any other activities you can't have too much of it as the outcome never ends well. That's what i'd say if the main question isn't related to what you've mentioned.

I doubt the police are doing something abusive, maybe you missed a detail or two about their raid since gambling houses could get you involved with illegal stuff like drugs or something similar. Even if gambling isn't an illegal activity they always have the right to act whenever they have proof.
4172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 12, 2021, 07:13:16 AM
Some interesting League matches starting in an hour or two, going for a multi play between Liiv Sandbox to win vs KT Rolster and over 3.5 on LNG vs Suning @1.8 the odds on the over is moving a bit higher but i'm still confident on this two.

I might be wrong here but Liiv Sandbox is one win away from sealing one of the top playoffs spot and this is the best chance they'll get because their last match is against Damwon.

Suning and LNG are both competitive teams, their last meeting during this summer season ended 2-1 tbh i'd give the edge on Suning as they have the tendency to surprise other teams during the playoffs but LNG had a decent improvement this season so hopefully we'd see a 3-1 scoreline.
4173  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Partner - UFC Betting Partner - $1M Race II ⚽ 🥊 on: August 12, 2021, 06:33:12 AM
I wonder how services like cryptogamblers.pub would continue when fees goes to the bare minimum at stake? Nice nice.
Their service would still be in good use no matter what since they're the only site where we could exchange directly within stake.

It appears the withdrawal fees have been significantly reduced unless I'm mistaken.  It looks as though they are now below a dollar.  I know this had been discussed in the past, and I'm sure they were waiting until they felt it was safe to do so.  I think that time is upon us, so for gamblers of lower amounts or those that are continuously moving funds off the site, this is no doubt a welcome change.  I appreciate it and know they didn't have to do this, so I am thankful for their effort in making sure that every aspect of the user experience is constantly being improved.
Same here, as much as I want to complain about how much fees i've spent i'm glad they've reduced it. This low fee might not last long but it's a nice change of pace.  Cheesy

Thanks for the post Ralle. I didn't know that RBF would trigger KYC or freeze at any book. If you know of others, please post.
Can't say if it'll trigger KYC but in my case I didn't have to go through any KYC.
4176  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: August 11, 2021, 04:01:06 PM
Another site worth mentioning is nanogames I remember they used to have a sig campaign as well, their thread is quite inactive as the last post was 2 years ago but they still have a lot of players though.

They don't have any minimum withdrawal for bitcoin, I even double checked in their discord just to make sure and the fees are somewhat high at BTC.0004 (screenshot of the withdrawal page).

4177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL- Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: August 11, 2021, 04:06:51 AM
That's another win as IG pulled off the reverse sweep, with that win there's going to be another set of matches the three way tiebreaker will start then the upper bracket matches will follow.

I'll take my chances on Aster@1.53 not much analysis this time other than a gut pick since this is just a best of 1 if it was a best of 3 I might've switch to the over.

And there's a lot of league matches scheduled tomorrow so i'm looking forward to that specifically the LPL playoffs.
4178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Accumulating small odds or choosing one or two big odds on: August 11, 2021, 02:58:19 AM
That's right, esports are now starting to gain a lot of interest and have almost become the most frequently appearing topic even on the small screen where they show the game live. Maybe this is just based on the hype for esports themselves. Because making it popular for a while is possible, but sports are still the main place for betting for big bookies.
The growth is not just hype, it took years for esport to reach this point and the reason why it's popular is because of how enjoyable these games are, like most sports you can still have fun watching even though you don't understand the entire game and a lot of people grew playing these games.

There are numbers of Esport that being catered from different sports betting houses, they are now being played by gambler who love this types of games, but like you, I also got an impression that this kind of gambling is more risky as it's prone to manipulations, there are lots of mafias everywhere and this kind of venue is easier as players can easily make a wrong move that will affect the entire teams performances,
You guys are not wrong though esports are so difficult to regulate but only a few get caught. You can easily avoid this issue since they target smaller tournaments and the bigger teams can't afford to do those type of things since their career is on the line.
4179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: casino chat moderator on: August 10, 2021, 06:39:37 PM
There are moderators that get paid and others that don't since i've seen some regular users become moderators at one point but they're not that active like the other moderators where there's a fixed schedule. On nitrogensports their moderators are like a bonus position since their support team manages the chat. Imo don't expect much on a moderator position since not all chats are that active and require heavy moderation unless they're asking for more tasks similar to a support.

Do you have any knowledge of in what situations sportsbet ask for KYC. Is there purely a withdrawal threshold where they ask for KYC, and if so, what is that?
Yes, there is a withdrawal threshold for KYC here's the part that was mentioned in their terms and condition.

Also don't use RBF(replace by fee) on your deposits as it will trigger a "freeze" on your account, you'll be forced to contact the support and the security team to fix this issue.
