4161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Dark Web, Drugs and Government. on: December 17, 2019, 08:54:38 PM
That has been like that for years and now they worry about crypto being involved... Roll Eyes

It is a reality they should take measures sooner than later / never of course as other countries are doing so far.
Considering Philippines is one of the most popular and used countries for such illegal stuff i am sure it will be hard for them to fix their issues.

I just hope that can manage to regulate something up so it becomes a green sign.

the country has more issues than drugs and this war on drugs of Duterte administration which had been politicize for years already. the people behind destroying Duterte are also the ones who own the drug business, methlabs, TV stations, news stations and water concessionaires, they hate the president for they can't bribe the old man.

TRUMP and DUTERTE share the same issues. the news outside our country are very much blown for propaganda for character assassination of President Duterte.  the news outside US was that Trump is the worse but in realityTrump gets a lot of support from US.
4162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to selling the BTC Now on: December 17, 2019, 08:10:59 PM
I don't understand,
why now that there have been a lot of opportunities around $ 8,000.
When you have already arrived where the price drops, wait, don't think about bitcoin, wait for the time to pass.
Think of a way not to think about bitcoin, come back after a while, look at the price, be mentally strong.
It's a bad time, get it now

LOL that is also what happened last 2018, a lot had the opportunity to dump but they were very hopeful that it will go up without looking at the charts.

i say DUMP it right now if you have the plan to buy back when the price hits $6100. but if you wanna hold while the price has the possibility that it will be dragged to $3k then its your choice.  but of course consider this a FUD.
4163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: December 17, 2019, 07:16:59 PM
the top coins are the first to up and that includes TRX, i'm not however going to put more money on it since there are more in the market other than ETH and TRX. there's EOS and Tezos, chainlink and ADA that you have to add to your portfolio so you won't be left behind. These coins allows you to also stake which can give you profit the longer you hold.
4164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will centralization keep its dominance on the crypto industry forever? on: December 17, 2019, 05:43:17 PM

many projects are being developed for decentralization, one day a developer will shout eureka for all of us who dreamed about it.

In my opinion, centralized exchanges/platforms should exist but shouldn't be promoted too much or above decentralized platforms for the sake of decentralization and security of cryptocurrency. The crypto communities should be promoting the decentralized platforms. The outside world could choose to promote what they want.

I think any cryptocurrency that has most of its value on centralized platforms shouldn't be seen as very decentralized.. Most of tradings should be happening peer-to-peer or via decentralized platforms. The point is to keep things censorship resistant, immutable, secure, trustless etc. Centralized usage of cryptos shouldn't be more than 40%...the less the better.

if eventually the decentralize platform will have a volume it needs to be make all wanna go there then it will be patronized more than the ones with riskier centralize platform. once the solution comes we shall see a massive migration there. blocknet seem to be promising a real decentralization than the ones we knew today.
4165  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-12-14] Billionaires Buying Bitcoin: Bill Pulte Announces 11 BTC Purchase on: December 17, 2019, 04:48:20 PM
and he is only bought 11 BTC, how is that going to help the poor?

when its billionaire that buys BTC its always in my thoughts that the guy wanna evade tax lol i hope i'm wrong. i'm sure this isn't his first time buying BTC. the billionaires in the planet are often discussing how much their stocks grew and all everyday with billionaire friends. he must have learned btc to few long time ago like draper.

You don't think 11 BTC isn't enough yet you are trying to connect the same 11 BTC as a means of tax evasion? Are you some kind of one dimensional person only thinking that billionaires have one motive and that's to avoid paying taxes and be greedy with their own money? Pulte already has a charitable organization under him before he has the intention of having BTC as means of donation so I won't be surprised that he just bought Bitcoin just a means of transferring the donation efficiently on countries in Africa. My advice for you is to don't judge someone for something bad if you really don't have any evidence against them.

maybe i'm a dimensional person indeed. yep i don't have evidence against them that was just something that comes in mind though. there are possibilities like you said i'm dimensional. or maybe he just said he bought 11 BTC while he actually about 100,011 BTC, its that possible too? well i have no evidence still but 100,000BTC is more than enough BTC to hide  it from tax.

Clickbait article by the bitcoinist which makes an assumption that the billionaire was buying bitcoin to use for his philantrophic activites.

His tweet said he bought bitcoin. He was only begging for likes similar to any social media user who seeks attention.

wants to be like john mcafee one day, they two should suck dicks.
4166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 16, 2019, 08:42:17 PM

what else is to destroy in bitcoin they have already tried it all before and yet it lives. the regulations are already up regulating ICOs, exchanges and so on. but i can only see digital fiat currencies to be taken care of by anti bitcoin Brett Sherman.

I don't understand why anyone would try to stop bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, perhaps they fear the future.
Some countries have tried to stop bitcoin, but again nothing. This is probably because they understand that there is nothing wrong with bitcoin, only good.
No one will ever stop bitcoin.
^ Probably because they found out that it might compete into the global economy and also when it comes financial banking system. This is very relevant, in fact, bitcoin has no threat to the government but only the government thinking this into Bitcoin. They will realize soon how useful this bitcoin into in society and probably those countries hated Bitcoin will adapt to it. Nevertheless, there's nothing to worry about this, bitcoin will remain bitcoin and nothing will change. Don't lose hope and keep holding your crypto assets.

government certainly hates currencies they don't control and bitcoin is just one. they can pass bills but it won't really help them stop BTC at some point. they have been doing this for a long time from spreading information like google quantum computing like the 51 attack is possible with it.
4167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upbit hackers using EOS tokens for money laundering? on: December 16, 2019, 07:45:31 PM
These were sure to happen. No one would have control over exchanging on a dex as dex are here for anonymity and decentralization.
But we can still track the addresses and trace them till they try to convert them into cash. It would have been better if the exchanges kept their purse tight.

it does need skills to tracked them when it gets into exchanges and then mixers.  a lot of people are not even a hacker but are trying to mix their coins to prevent it from getting traced specially if it goes in and out of the casino site. i don't know if its the best practice to exercise and hackers aren't know to it. laundering means its going to be handled by authorities.
4168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 16, 2019, 06:15:06 PM
Masternode coins are not doing well at the moment so coins like Zcash, Dash are not the best of choices. Litecoin is a dead coin walking when its own founder left the project and sold all his holdings. This leave me with Ethereum and BNB coin which i think they are good coins to invest into but you will need to go in a for a very long hold to make some decent profits.
Zcash and Dash are not even on top 10 great performing coins this year, they have not even beaten the Tezos. Even Litecoin, I hardly sees it progressing in the future. What's left to us is a choice that could be the best one which is BNB, If this is the year that BNB performed so well, might as well it will be next year too since the growth is drastically plummeting. But take note, there are altcoins that did perform great also this year like Chainlink, I guess it is the most underrated altcoin we have now in the market. I should have say VeChain but I just read a hacking incident just today, too bad for VeChain tho.

chainlink is one of top performing coin this year, i can see someone selling it on vertex market locally which is interesting that he thought it has a market. LTC is very surprising because halving didn't make it that instead of price to go up, its being dumped. strange things going on in crypto and this is unlike what had happened before. tezos received amounts of popularity also. random spikes of the coins these days and i guess they are one of the best to invest right now.

two in my list is the STRATIS and Eidoo.
4169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 16, 2019, 05:20:36 PM
not a fan of privacy coin. not now that regulations are trying to eliminate them on the market.

I only have a few altcoins, not too many. because actually I believe more in investing in bitcoin than altcoin. I spend most of my money on bitcoin investments. but i also have some altcoin. My favorite altcoins are ethereum, litecoin and BNB. and these two years most of altcoin lost its value. and I think right now is the right time to buy and add altcoin. because I'm sure that when bitcoin pumps the altcoin market will also go green again. I hope Bitcoin will increase soon.
You believe in Bitcoin but this post is asking for only other options then bitcoin.
Not all alts has lost their value
BitBall still standing strong and grown 4000%

Good lord!  Stop pumping bitball.  You have posted a dozen times promoting it to this thread.  Clearly you have invested in it and are trying to pump it. We get it.... you think it has "yuge" potential.  However, there are many other coins that are much better buys and with much better development teams than bitball. When buying altcoins you would be smarter to buy less risky coins that have higher market caps, stronger communities, are listed on bigger exchanges (for liquidity), and are listed in the top 100 of coinmarket cap. I think Ve chain - VET, Digibyte - DGB, Cardano - ADA and Stellar - XLM are far superior and all cheap right now.  If I wanted to pick dark horses I would look at the tech behind the altcoin and buy projects that bring blockchain operability such as LINK, ELROND, FUSION and FANTOM.
Overall, the original poster can't go wrong with that list.  From his list I would avoid bitball (can the team sustain development over the longer term given their cash reserves?), and the privacy coins with their forks (Monero, Dash, and Zcash as their multiple won't be as high as some other altcoins).   Good luck with bitball, it has a lot of potential but likely will fade away so make sure you diversify and buy some of my suggestions   Grin.

i kept seeing someone insert that bitball everyday in threads. it doesn't really offer something unique to cryptousers. i look over to its thread to check what they are doing but all are just disappointments if you look at the website its like someone just replaced the images of a template from logo to the slides. but you know if they hold some of these coins, they tend to believe its a good investment.
4170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Stratis rapidly pumps after hitting above 4500 sats? on: December 16, 2019, 03:52:08 PM

It's really not worth to hold if you mean a shit coin there since possibly the one you earn is a huge loss rather than win since in this current market condition for sure the shit you hold is died already. But we are talking about great potential coin here and stratis always stays at top 100 at their development is pretty cool recently that's why they stay on what place until now. Maybe you should see give some chance to other alts so that you will earn more rather than being afraid of those ghost of shit coins which can easily detect if we choose to look closer.

seem not dumped after a day. i was thinking of getting in on 0.000043. i'm gonna leave my order for a week incase something might come down. its actually a good coin to play around while the chart is looking positive for accumulation.

I pray stratis should pump. I bought stratis early last year and I am still holding. I have lose over 70% and I am waiting for a little recovery in other to sell. I do believe that when bitcoin start to recover  by next year stratis will be one of the major favour coins that will recover too.

It's not worth for holding an altcoins for a long time more over a year, you might be missed a lot of chance to get profits from other coins because your money stuck on the loss coin. It's better to cutloss when we already hold a coin for a long time and move to other coins to make new opportunity to get profits.

well he had hold it for a long time, its beginning to pick up a new highs if this continues it wouldn't be right to dump his bag right now.

4171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun’s Weibo Account Has Officially Been Shut Down on: December 15, 2019, 07:41:58 PM

you were never tired featuring this justin. made me think people are really interested to think TRON that they want to buy billions with $500. is he selling TRX with this weibo account?

china were doing cashless transaction for years already and with blockchain and the digital currency they are developing, they may completely be the first to be doing it. they however keep isolating their economy from the outside so they will simply create another market which is why they do have their own ranking.
4172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Stratis rapidly pumps after hitting above 4500 sats? on: December 15, 2019, 07:13:06 PM
I never forget that what I got big profits from Stratis coin but after crypto market collapse in 2018 still the Stratis coin still not recovered but it is trading around 4228 Satoshi still and still holding my Stratis coin still continues invest in that month base I am sure that once bull market comes in crypto market then Stratis going to moon.
stratis has nothing to promise us this year but not because it has a pump hitting 4500 sat meaning we can expect huge pump.
the time had passed when this Currency brings us profit and not only in 2018 bear when it falls but this whole 2019 as well, even when the Bull comes last august yet stratis remains lower frome xpectations.
maybe after halving there is a chance but nothing can be sure we knew that already in this volatile market.

we can see coins being pumped it can't be random since these coins are mooning during the bullrun and it has good developments in past too. stratis already has the smartcontracts which developers are about to take part, i tried reading what the cause is in this spike but found none. this news however which was posted yesterday could be a reason. https://stratisplatform.com/2019/12/13/stratis-monthly-10/ pretty fair to say its not just a pump. but i'd still expect dumps soon.

4174  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rally of $9,000 ain’t enough? on: December 15, 2019, 05:32:36 PM
Let's see first if we can break the $9k barrier prior to the end of the year. The thing is that we have seen many times in the past that we thought we're already in the bullish/bearish pattern, however, the market moves in the opposite direction. Which only means  that the market price is really hard to predict, no matter what this so called experts are telling us.

not possible to have $9k price by year end. unless we all sell that high.  it may even go below $6800 tomorrow because it seem to break the support.  if $6500 will also break then expect the $3k.  jesus, no christmas this year. the popular analyst is right this bearish pattern will once again try to break the $3k support. lucky are the ones who figured to exit at $9,000.
4175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Stratis rapidly pumps after hitting above 4500 sats? on: December 15, 2019, 04:21:57 PM
Yes, market conditions cannot be predicted, so people only take perceptions from previous years, or chart movements from last year.
maybe now it's still far from bullrun, but it could happen anytime, even in 2017 nobody predicted that bitcoin could break 19k $ so high that at the beginning of the year there was no sign that it would be bull.
so yes everything is still vague, people can only speculate.

but you can actually see if its time to sell already. its btc/strat market already indicate over bough so before it hit 55K satoshi mark, its already a trading signal to sell. normally when a coin spikes, its also time to sell. i would probably sell if i just have some just to accumulate startis. in the long run its still going to rise up. the more you have the more profit of course.
4176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying coffee with cryptocurrency on: December 14, 2019, 08:43:22 PM
Coffee with cryptocurrency can really works like example of adoption so if this can apply in business like this then for sure more in future

Then i think we can use this to pay food, tuition fee then more in future like this really brings so much convenience in life so better to buy or invest now because crypto will grow after more and more adoption happen here

what is going on right now with the businesses accepting crypto is that they are suing 3rd party system which you as a buyer will send btc but them as the business will receive fiat. the BTC you send goes into the 3rd party which its them that accumulates all these BTC. basically, its still fiat that we are dealing here. what is to be done is that you and the business like starbucks sends BTC to their wallet from your wallet directly
4177  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your thoughts about Greta Thunberg on: December 14, 2019, 07:56:47 PM

you can't even see why this girl has to be the one to speak to stop carbon emission and fight global warming. there are plenty of scientific person out there experience wise who can discuss things that we don't cry while listening to he stories. its not entertaining. what they should do is offer a new solution while not risking the industrialization of developing countries. enroll greta back to shoolforchristsake.
4178  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be your next move? on: December 13, 2019, 07:53:00 PM

if you are so sure where the market will go i would be the first to dump. but the market today is really not that predictable. the weekly charts are telling the opposite when it comes to daily chart or so. but this information only matter to long term trader what about those in the day traders who constantly trade every 15 -30 minutes of the day.
your next move would depend to how you see the market. but its best to dump for usdt when unsure.
4179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com now has a sportsbook after deal signing with BetRadar on: December 13, 2019, 06:10:42 PM

betting platforms should be making deals with BetRadar as addition to their games, i have supported some crypto casinos that doesn't have sports betting. will try to suggest this one. i wonder what sort of deals do they have.

all of a sudden i tried recovering my account to test it. i'm going to betting on boxing and MMA in the platform by dec 15th this UFC 245 to see if i get lucky with stake.com

4180  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CEX Vs DEX ? on: December 13, 2019, 04:49:48 PM
Are there are any truly decentralised exchanges out there?

Perhaps Bisq but I can't think of anything else. Binance can ban you and roll back your transactions so that's a definite no. Most of the others rely on a domain and hosting and that can be hijacked so you'll never be fully certain.

Until they're in wallet and on chain they'll always be questionable and so far the people who run them have not come across as premier league characters. There shouldn't be anyone running them beyond those who issue software for you to run.

I cant think of on another exchange when we do talk about Dex which my primary choice is Bisq and the rest are just masking out to be Dex
but have the tendency to become CEX just like on what IDEX did suddenly as king out kyc.  Grin

The thing here about trends comparing Cex and Dex is that it isnt really get too much volume yet people would still always prefer on using up Cex
due to fiat and crypto options.

some user actually reasoned that asking KYC doesn't make them centralize, the features are still there nothings changed for everything is as is.  but you really can't say nothing's change when mandatory submission of documents is there. until there is nothing yet that is truly decentralize which can't be taken down nor forced to ask kyc, then there is no reason for you to trade ion dex. the fact that there is no BTC market in there since most of them are base on ETH.
