4161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 04, 2019, 10:05:30 AM
LOL I had a small bet for WI to score over 3.5 runs in the first over. Mujib bowled the over and Gayle was like I am not gonna take run from the first over no matter what ball you bowl :-P
Gayle just played his last world cup innings and got out as expected and he did not make any impact in this tournament at all, he always starts really slow and that was a bold bet, i would rather go for sixes in the match in favor of West Indies as they have some big hitters.

So don't underestimates Afghanistan, before World Cup started, everyone was sure, they will do 2-3 upsets, but because of their internal politics they ruin whole world cup dreams.
I am not sure what is the reason for their internal politics and why players like Mohammad Shahzad and Aftab Alam were sent home and Shahzad even responded about what is going on within the team. If they could perform as a team without these issue they could have played better cricket.
Mohammad Shahzad was an explosive player and he should be in the team and he could make the most impact if they wanted to upset any team.
4162  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: July 04, 2019, 08:17:01 AM
This is not a thing for only cryptocurrencies, every scam on every field is a global issue. And since it is a free market, scammers and hackers may operate alongside hence it is always being announced that investors must stay cautious especially to unknown emails which offers enticing rewards
Since this is the internet era any scams that takes places in the internet have a global implication. The difference between crypto scams and the rest of the methods is that every transactions carried out in the crypto space can be traced and it is possible to catch every fraud that has happened in the blockchain. My prediction is that in the next ten years majority of the scams that happened in this market will be traced and the person or group behind those will be punished.
4163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: July 04, 2019, 07:20:45 AM
England won the match and now it's pretty much over for Pakistan as it's almost impossible to attain these margins against Bangladesh:
With England back in form we have the semi final list, Australia, India, England and New Zealand and with one more match to fully understand which team will be facing each other in the semi final we have to wait for the match between India v Sri Lanka and Australia v South Africa.
By the way things are going we might see India and Australia in the finals.

We have to wait and see how far India will prove themselves in the coming matches.
The middle order crisis of India should be sorted if they are planning to win the world cup and if their top three fails then India will struggle to put runs on the board as i do not expect Rohit Sharma to score centuries every time. Undecided
4164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Court documents are suggesting CSW may control 1.1m BTC. He is planning to sell! on: July 04, 2019, 06:38:43 AM
From what i understand CSW does not have those coins in his arsenal and he even said that in the court and i am not sure how can he sell millions of coins in the market that he does not have  Huh .  Lets see what they say about the Tulip trust they are talking about and how they have secured the coins makes it impossible for anyone to retrieve the coins and if it is a true story they have used Fiat- Shamir Identification Protocol and three people have those details and if they combine they could unlock the coins, but one of the person who is said to be the holder Dave Kleiman is already dead, so there is no way anyone could sell any coins.

END STORY: No one can sell anything that they do not have any control  Tongue.
4165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 04, 2019, 05:43:25 AM
Yes, that's a sad surprise.  But i have one more analysis to make here
NZ lost their last three matches and down in confidence and yet qualifies
PAK Won the last three matches and better in confidence and unable to qualify.
It is a really unfortunate situation, the rain actually spoiled some matches and now the net run rate will determine who is going to the next round, it would be fun if we could see Pakistan getting a spot in the semi and then they are facing India in the finals  Wink.
Today we have Afghanistan vs West Indies and i am thinking about a comfortable win for West Indies but will be glad if Afghanistan can defeat them as they played good cricket but no wins so far.
4166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SUMO WRESTLING is it entertaining? on: July 03, 2019, 11:57:46 PM
I also think is entertaining, i remember some years ago first time when i see wrestling on TV all members of my family was so exciting about it, i think will be interesting, i never see sumo wrestling on TV.
I think you are talking about professional wrestling, it is entertainment and it was fun to watch when you were a kid. The reason you do not see sumo wrestling outside of Japanese television is that it is regional bound and you cannot garner a larger audience and hence there is no known television deals, I remember ESPN covering the sport for a short period 25 years back and then i have seen some in TEN sports when they launched Cheesy.

I did not see any threads related to SUMO WRESTLING and I have been seeing that SUMO WRESTLING is a good sport. Every players are eager to win and the results could.be predictable unless those who had made some fights already and becoming a veteran. Yet, they too still lose.
Tt is a full contact sport and the combatants have a life on its own and it is interesting to learn about their life and how they maintain their life style. I have seen some documentaries regarding their life and that is my only experience with the sport  Grin.
4167  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Insurance on: July 03, 2019, 05:52:02 PM
What are your thoughts about having a compulsory insurance when someone wants to do some ICO so that investors are safe and the participants are also safe? So if ever they want to scam people, people are secured.
A proper regulation and monitoring of these projects who collects insane amount of money will reduce these scam projects who start their projects and then a couple of years later inform their investors that their experiment was a failure and not compensating the investors while these people who started the project made insane amounts of money and it will stop and right now we are not seeing those projects and with regulations these sort of experimental projects will end.
4168  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: July 03, 2019, 04:46:25 PM
For $651~ you could of got yourself a shiny whole bitcoin on coinbase plus their $6.66 fee.
I wouldnt of mind paying this fee on top regardless.
Even if they were asking 10% of the purchase amount at the time which is probably more by now. Wink
If you are really looking at the price of 2015 it went below $250 and i still remember when i used to gamble i usually look at the price of bitcoin to make sure how much i gain or loss and make an assessment on how things are and i have lost a lot of coins to some of the gambling sites during that period  Cry.
I stopped spending my coins like that when the price started rising and since you mentioned you cannot believe the price five years ago i just wanted to point out that the price went below $250 during 2015 and around Nov 2015 the price crossed $300.

4169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 03, 2019, 04:01:50 PM
New Zealand has lost their sixth wicket and two run outs changed the game and i predicted it to be an close win for England but it looks like they will be trashing them in this match by the way things are going, i recently understood the pool strategy, earlier  i was simply giving narrow wins as i never thought there is a perk on exactly predicting that, now i will be more careful on selecting those from.
4170  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: July 03, 2019, 02:29:33 PM
BBC recently did a interview around the volatility of cryptocurrencies. I think we are still so early in this industry but I would love to know your thoughts about where we are going and how you think the landscape will change.
This is a new platform and volatility is the face of the market and it is mainly because of the low liquidity we have, not sure how anyone could overcome that situation in this market, the change in landscape is dependent on how major countries are planning to regulate the market and the major factor would be how they will view anon currencies like Monero and other similar coins. We can only speculate now but in a couple of years we will have a clarity about the entire market.
4171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: July 03, 2019, 12:40:34 PM
The sad thing is Bangladesh always plays a good cricket but never wins. Every of their matches in this world cup were competitive but they barely won some of them.
Bangla team has everything but they lacks a wining mentality. They seem to be in pressure when they play with a team with big names.
There is a slight correction here, the Bangladesh openers are not giving them a good start in this tournament and the only player in form is Shakib Al Hasan and he is doing a good job with ball and bat and other than that you do not see any consistent performers in the team and you need to take your catches if you need to win matches, even in yesterdays match against India they have spilled many chances and you cannot win a game if you are not able to take those chances. Batting is still their weak point and if they find a good player then things will change for them.
4172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Modi Discussed Crypto Standards at G20 Summit – A Look at How They Apply to Indi on: July 03, 2019, 11:04:43 AM
Still not sure whether India will apply the FATF standards, there is no clarity on how the government will view the market, there are contradicting news coming out on a daily basis on how they plan to move ahead and it is not a good sign for any business owners to have a volatile situation, if they  implement the FATF standard then the draft about sending people to jail for merely holding crypto asset will be a joke. Lets see how these drama unfolds and i really care less about the status in India at this moment  Tongue.
4173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 03, 2019, 10:22:31 AM
One can count on Roy. I did not bet but I am predicting Roy to score 50 in this match. England don't want to risk their work cup missing and they have a flying start so far.
With Jason Roy back in the team Jonny Bairstow who was struggling with the bat with a couple of ducks in the tournament is back in form and both are giving the perfect opening partnership for England and they will be looking for a huge total above 340 runs and with the bowling unit England has and they already defended a total against India and if they could produce the same kind of bowling they could defend it against New Zealand too.
4174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cash out after having investment trippled in bitcoin! on: July 03, 2019, 07:10:02 AM
Who among you here does not hold btc anymore and afraid of investing to bitcoin? Did you regret of not investing on bitcoin too?
What is the point of regret if you did not have the confidence to invest in bitcoin, the risk reward ratio if you invest in bitcoin is much higher than any other financial platform and if you are wise enough and have the experience in any trading platform then you will invest when the market is going down because the market will not go down all the time and there will be a recovery and if you invested during the bear market then there is no doubt you will reap your profits.
4175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Justin Bieber VS Steve-O - UFC Fight on: July 02, 2019, 07:36:13 PM
Bieber say in public the fight with Cruise was a joke, Tom would never be part of a show like that, and now Steve-O says he wants to fight with the kiddo, we all would love to see his ass kicked by anyone, i don't care if it's Tom or Steve, i just want to see Bieber getting destroyed in the octagon  Grin
I have said this earlier, Bieber would have being high when he made that challenge and he will not do so when he is dry and he will not accept Steve O as he is known to be a dare devil and will do anything and if Bieber have some sense in him he will pass this as a joke and not to hurt himself and embrace himself in the front of the world, his niche is music and he can shine in that and not to try something he has no idea what he is talking about Grin .
4176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Downward Trend on: July 02, 2019, 05:27:30 PM
A pullback to 2k ish would help to go parabolic in 2020! Even me as an "early" adaptor and hodler since 2014 would consider to buy some more coins for 2k with all I have saved over the years.
Are you serious about the pull back to 2k levels  Cheesy, if so you need massive FUD that could create fear among major investors and then you might achieve those valuation  Tongue  but it is highly unlikely to see a valuation below $6000, people who thought they have missed the boat after seeing the huge rally will jump in seeing the correction and there is no way that the price will go down beyond what i said even if there is major bad news regarding regulation in some third world countries  Grin.
4177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 02, 2019, 01:05:36 PM
Yes, they are specialist keepers but when Dhoni is there he will keep. Rest will run to chase the ball in the field :-D
The problem with this is that Pant is not a good fielder and he does not move on the ground that well and we have seen that in the last match, DK is a good outfielder and i am sure he is in the team to score some runs in quick time and he just got out going for the big hits.

They have wickets in hand so they can score 350+ runs easily. I am not seeing any dangerous bowling attack to trick this two openers.
Bangladesh is taking wickets at regular interval now and hopefully India can score 330 runs with three overs to go, lets see how Dhoni will bat without the pressure of chasing. Smiley India once again messed up the score even though they got a good start.
4178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uganda says cryptocurrency is risky on: July 02, 2019, 11:35:03 AM
it's unbelievable that he  says "cryptocurrency is risky" when his country's politicians are corrupt
It is a recurring story with all the countries that are corrupted to the core to say that cryptocurrency is risky and they will not implement and they will say that it is too risky to allow people to invest in it, these corrupt governments imply that they are protecting the people from the risk. We must understand that it is not the issue with these people, if people start using the platform and everything becomes transparent then how these corrupt officials will hide their loot, they can resist for a while saying that it is risky but blockchain and cryptocurrency will prevail in the long run.
4179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 02, 2019, 10:15:32 AM
India is playing with four specialist wicket keepers in the team. KL Rahul, Dinesh Karthik, Rishabh Pant and MS Dhoni are all specialist wicket keepers which i have never seen in my life in any team picking a team like that  Cheesy .Bangladesh has already dropped two catches and if they cannot hold onto the catches there is no way they could give a fighting chance in this match, India is playing three top class fast bowlers for the first time in this tournament and it will be the best bowling display we will see in this tournament and Bangladesh will find it difficult to score runs freely if they are chasing a huge total.
4180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Libra the Ethereum + Ripple + EOS + TRON + .... killer? on: July 02, 2019, 12:34:48 AM
There is almost a year since Libra is announced to launch, but I am sure it will take way longer. Many will oppose it. Many will also call to ban it after launch it. And many will ban it. But Libra coin will be a reality for everyone to accept at the end.
How much time they take to launch a centralized coin does not matter here, the countries who are opposing the new market might call for a ban of Libra, investing and accepting Libra depends upon individual decisions and no one can force that shitty coin to anyone, if people find it interesting and it has some utility then they will embrace it, if not it will die within a few years. Cheesy
@ OP Right now i am not a fan of any alt coin, yes i made some good profit in some of the alts a few years back and TRON looks like a potential project but that does not mean that Libra will be the ultimate coin to beat, time will tell what the future holds for that centralized coin.
