4161  Economy / Economics / Re: Markets taking profit on: May 11, 2021, 10:57:25 PM
Anyone who cares what the price has done over a 1 week period has invested more than they should have. If it's so much of a concern, you're over exposed. Price movements over a daily, weekly, or even monthly period are meaningless over the long term.

Everybody cared I guess, since that last correction was rather deep. Had Bitcoin only lost a thousand or two in a single day, it would have been tolerable. But it went from almost $65,000 to around $52,000 in around 3 days. It happened so quickly that it came as a surprise. I'm sure nobody expected it. Nobody braced for its coming. No doubt, it raised a few questions.

But it shouldn't be a cause for alarm or panic. If such correction elicited very strong emotional reactions, you're right, perhaps one's investment might be too much. Or perhaps one is just weak or too optimistic or too greedy.

Like you rightly said I don't think we should be so bothered about the drop, we saw the rapid increase from $18 last year November and how it transcends to the $65k you talked about, let the market shake off and let the pump start afresh. Just forget your portfolio for now and you will be good
But we should be mindful on our holdings too because opportunities for you to sell doesnt come often this is why you should be at least aware on when to get out and take profits.

Unless if you do go for long term then this wont really be an issue for you but if you are just swinging off basing with trends then be aware on when you should get out.

Market cant be called a market if the price is just moving one path or way or direction. There would always be uprising and downward movement thats why you should really be vigilant.
4162  Economy / Speculation / Re: 6 reasons why you should buy Bitcoin right now (at USD 50K-53K) on: May 11, 2021, 10:18:53 PM
I'm really worried about the fall in BTC dominance and the rise of altcoins, isn't this the movement of end of bullrun season? Once altcoins takes over for sometimes it's a sign that by season is fading, anyways I will stick with my old plan which is taking profits and risking very little amount of money

You should do that and not to worry yourself that much, if you already settled with your plans then executing it is the best way for you.

No need to think of whatever possible next market run but instead focusing with how will you gained good compensations from this venue of investment, take whatever you can and pla again for your next move.

We should established this kind of mentality instead of stressing out ourselves during our stay inside the market.
Due to very unpredictable behavior of the market then its unavoidable on not for you to get stressed nor be mindful too much on what would be the next things to come in next hour or minute or day here on crypto space.

I agree into the things that you had said that it would be much better if you do really mind on what are the things you should do next basing off on what you had analyzed because we do all matter here in terms of profits

no matter what is the current market condition then you  should mind off on what are the next things you should do for you to utilize the movement and benefit out yourself.
4163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: May 11, 2021, 09:49:22 PM
The story about the girl is definitely unsettling. I hope that nobody finds themselves in such a situation and if they do that they would be brave enough to ask for help. As for getting help, I'm not sure if it's enough to just subscribe to one of these services. The first step must be accepting your addiction and be willing to stay away from gambling. Still, not being able to access gambling sites is probably helpful to some extent.

I hope these links will help someone who needs support. Don't give up!
Should be the right or initial thing that you would mind off is about self-realization and if you do really mean on quitting gambling then you should do it and dont tend to get involved into more gambling activity further.

Try to avoid all of the ways or things connected to it and you would slowly heal up on the process. Its up actually on someones self discipline and control because if you do really mean to quit then you can actually
do it.

Even though there are still instances that we cant really help out ourself too get away with addiction.
4164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: May 10, 2021, 11:54:43 PM
I can't understand why everyone is so up in arms against Elon Musk? This guy supported the market much more with his statements than the facts of buying and then selling 10% of the bought bitcoins. His twitter statements clearly show this. Thanks to his statements and position, the community of cryptocurrency users is expanding, which in my opinion is valuable in itself. His investments also play a positive role and give a signal to other big investors to buy, and as a result, this affects the rise in the price of bitcoin. Then what's the problem?
The ones who had been complaining are the ones who had lost up their money when they had bought into the peak and the suddenly the price had made some correction which
did really lead into frustration.  Cheesy

Anyone can jump and engage into the market its neither those richest person in the world or big companies out there. No one can stop them and if it turns out that they are
already messing with the market unintentionally, then whats your take?

Better to utilize those movements for your benefit rather than having these kind of complaints or whines.
4165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Control your trading emotional outburst and get yourself together! on: May 10, 2021, 10:55:14 PM
Psychology or emotional in trading is a problem that almost all traders, beginners or professionals will experience. Psychology will attack when we are faced with a price that continues to fall and we buy at a fairly high price. this will test whether to Cut Loss or hold it. However, when the price goes up it is confused to sell or continue to hold it.

which of course we have to stick to our main goal, which is to get a profit. Regardless of the benefits, we should be satisfied.

do not panic when the market is not good, control your emotions and stick to the strategies that have been made.
Easy to say but when we are already on the actual market condition or experience then those kind of goals that you had set earlier will most likely be changed nor not be able to follow.

Controlling emotion is one of the hardest thing specially if you deal with this market which does have very volatile price which in result into panic when you do saw your
portfolio is dropping.

Experience is on of the main thing for you to able to suppress that emotion inside you. When you are experienced enough on various conditions
then reacting wont really be too obvious nor easily for you to freak out.
4166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: May 10, 2021, 09:54:30 PM
It's all about money. If rigging is somewhat possible, it will be attempted, at least. The smaller the club is, the cheaper should be to bribe them to lose a game.
Also it's difficult to track if a player or referee is gambling (indirectly, of course).
Sometimes rigging happens just to let the players have an easy time, reduce the stress and well, steam roll through the enemy team, building confidence. It happens afaik, especially against newbie teams vs newbie teams, most of the time it's just who's got the bigger backing and stuff. I'd reckon that most who actually host gambling for players and referees have quite a reputation, much so that it wouldn't actually get leaked even if someone got caught or something.

Cheating usually occurs, when the weak team is clearly integrated, and there is intense competition at the top, when the top team is playing with the lower team is obvious, that's where the cheating happens, and the top team will definitely give the bottom team money ,,
cheating like that has often happened in the world of football ''

Using the description of weak teams and strong teams, you seem to be thinking that it's coordinated cheating, which I would disagree with since that would make them so obvious and the sports has no reputation for that. Cheating is not allowed in any sports, that is illegal, so if there's a cheat, usually it only involves one to two players and they are just trying to shave points as that is a kind of cheat that is not obvious to the fans.

What OP shared was really an obvious cheating, so they got easily caught.  Smiley
There are really rigged up games which you dont know if its really being rigged or not because its well executed or not really that much obvious unlike on what OP had shared on where those

kind of gameplays is way too horrible and even a grade-schooler would able to shoot those ball without having any solid defense. They should be penalized on what they've been doing

and its clear as day that this one is rigged and they should be shameful into theirselves on showing off those kind of shitty plays for the sake of money.
4167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: May 10, 2021, 07:51:37 PM
We should be very careful about those fake good news. They get you interested in false claims and have you join their so-called special profit. Don't be greedy about their fake proposal. Most of the scams or fake good news is all over social media and they target the newbies. So it is very important to do deep research in advance about the platform.
yes that's right, many are in a hurry in choosing a target market to invest in, this is an opportunity for a master con man to launch his strategy and target novice players or beginners. This is actually really rotten when it happens repeatedly, I hope that beginners will be more careful with what other people say or ask and better understand and learn for themselves about what market to choose so as not to be trapped by fraud and experience deep regret.
Manipulation is a bit common on this market but not really on the sense that it was too obvious specially into those past years where price can move without any reason for us to look on

unlike now that there are really some sentiment which do backed up on that particular movement even though it might not that precise but still a considerable thing for us to look on.

Fake news or simply FUDS are common and this is why we should really be wary on whats currently happening in the market.Dont let yourself get easily hooked up.
4168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell your Bitcoins or die - Bitcoin to $5000 soon - Fiat is best alternative on: May 10, 2021, 05:54:34 PM
Don't do this people, OP probably sold at a loss or small profit and OP wants to have some people join him/her in the cesspool of misery that OP is in right now.
Possibly yes or no!

You cant tell if these people are just trying to make out some fud or just trying to troll into this community but somehow people here on this community isnt really that too easily on believing such things.

Claiming for some dip down on price should have at least some things to be attached like news, sentiments etc. but if this one is just purely been said basing off with your own intuition or gut feeling

then this one wont be taken seriously. Price could dip but not into that certain extent. We are way too far with that price.
4169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: May 09, 2021, 11:57:14 PM
Hello to all! Another topic about casinos and games. I started playing at the Stake.com quite often. At the very beginning I thought I would just play in the evening, but one evening turned into a constant game during the day. On the first deposit, I was lucky and I took out a little, it was x3 of my deposit and I was happy. Recently, I just started making stupid deposits and trying to win something and I understand that this is self-deception, but I cannot stop and make more and more deposits. I decided to make the 1st level of VIP, but for this I need to make a turnover of 10k dollars, but I am a player with low stakes and this is difficult for me to do. You seem to understand everything that you will lose, but you go to play again. How to get rid of gambling addiction?

Sadly, most people with gambling addictions never kick the habit, even after bankrupting their family and hurting their relationships. I think the best way to approach gambling is to consider it paying for entertainment. In my opinion, gambling becomes a problem when people think they can do it for a source of income. Everyone dreams of getting rich overnight with some luck, but it just doesn’t work that way and luck is a word unsuccessful people use to justify their lack of success to themselves. Don’t let luck determine your worth.
People wont realize until they had messed up their own lives because of gambling.People would just simply ignore the current situation theyre in as long they do have money but

in the times where everything is lost in terms of financial then this is where the sad story begins. You are right that we should mind that we are paying for entertainment

dont expect for some returns or winnings because this emotion will be just a trigger out for you to get addicted.
4170  Economy / Speculation / Re: May 13th, Bitcoin will surge to $70k or it will be dump? on: May 09, 2021, 10:52:45 PM
I think it is about "if this news is correct, people will buy more and if it is wrong, the ones who bought anticipating this will sell" type of situation. Basically there are some people who already bought because they believe that Alibaba bought 20 billion dollars worth of bitcoin, and some people are still uncertain about it and will decide depending on the news.
The news about Alibaba investing 20 billion dollars will be debunked as rumors when the Q1 earnings report will be published in a few days. Jack Ma is always skeptical about Bitcoin and he always viewed the Bitcoin market as a bubble and hence i do not think that he will be taking a huge risk to invest $20 billion in the market, i wont be surprised if it is a few millions but to invest $20 billion even after calling the Bitcoin market as a bubble will be outrageous  Cheesy.

This will be an interesting news to look forward to. Few days from now and we will know the truth about this rumor. But I believe, it is just a rumor. But in any case they did have bitcoin investments, even if it is not $20B, it may still create good pump in the market. Who knows, Jack Ma changed his mind over bitcoin, now that Tesla is already on this market? They can always change their stance when it is good for their business.
When it comes to rumors that do pop out then its up to us if we do take it seriously or just ignore those things but once those words to came out then probabilities that it would really happen.

Any positive sentiment that do come out in the market might be or might be not manipulative so lets be careful on making our positions because we wont know on what would happen next.

There's no assurances that we would surge to  70k and we would need some more adoption news in related to that because breaking 60k alone is already a challenge.
4171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: beginner trader: Are trading signals and bots worth it? on: May 09, 2021, 08:58:24 PM
Have been in Cryptocurrency not long ago I don't really know much about crypto Bot but I really support cryptocurrency signal when you really join the right group, there are lot's of scam signal groups which they just collect your money and give fake signal but even if u are getting a signal from a group make sure you do your research first before buying the coin not all signals are always 100%.
Bot has nothing to do with those fake signals out of those fake groups in the market this is why you should really be aware on what are the things that been circling around.

If you do have doubts then you can always make some searches and verify for yourself.Regarding on the topic question about bots then its just for automation.

Newbies do mostly believe that this is something a money making generating machine which is totally bullshit kind way of thinking.
4172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: May 09, 2021, 07:27:39 PM
I think the first step with any addiction is to realise you have a problem. This can come either through friends and family who are concerned or from your own realisation. Once we identify a problem with gambling than we try and get better. In my opinion it is best to talk to people who have had the same experience. It is much easier for them to understand your problems and fear. I came across this forum https://www.gamblingtherapy.org/forum/ where people recovering from addiction can help each other. This is a good way to go.
Professional help would be just the last resort if you do find out yourself on not to be that being helped with those help from loved ones but honestly you can really stop your addiction

if you do just simply be aware on what are the things you are currently been doing. If you can handle up yourself and your own will that you are already experiencing problem

then self realization would be enough and nothing can beat out when it comes to that but there are really people who cant just resist an do fail out on this one
and this is where professional help would be needed.
4173  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and Dubai on: May 06, 2021, 09:44:36 PM
Dubai does not consider Bitcoin legal tender, but there aren't restrictions on buying or selling either. Based on LocalBitcoins volume and Google Trends data, Bitcoin looks alive and well in Dubai. Is this true?

https://www.jumeiraconsultants.com/business-setup-services-in-dubai/

When we do talk about volume in UAE: https://coin.dance/volume/localbitcoins/AED

The volume peaked on that first month of 2018 and then it do normalizes and been constant on further years until this very moment. There are still lots of countries which are still on the neutral side

where they arent restricting nor havent been regulating or recognized and staying up into the middle just like in to the country where i do live in where they are still on the neutral phase.

I wont be surprised if there would be such changes in near future.
4174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you expect the Altcoin rally? on: May 06, 2021, 08:45:12 PM
Altcoin rally is already started.

If you look into coinmarketcap, btc dominance only 44%.

So it means most of investor or trader put hes money into alts and most of them throw it into dogecoin.
I wouldn't be so sure about Doge. There is a very high probability that right now it is being sold in huge quantities to everyone. For me personally, this is a very high-risk asset. I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong that I don’t invest in it =)
I have the same inputs but i actually have regretted that i didnt enter or accumulate while its still cheap but hell yeah, who knows that Elon Musk would really be dealing off with this coin or simply making out some
recommendation or deal with it?

This is the hardest thing on dealing with this market is that every events could possibly happen. You wouldnt know on what would happen next and if you dont act fast then you would really miss out the train.

I have been experiencing several similar situations like  this and talking about Altcoin rally? It has been starting on where most alts are making some gains atm.
4175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 06, 2021, 07:59:28 PM
Hey, at the end of the day its a fight, and we have weight classes for a reason. Smaller men, generally don't do well against bigger men. So, definitely he has a punchers chance, although I'm significantly doubting it, it may well happen. I would be more than happy to put my hands up, and say well done to Logan. If Logan manages to knock out Floyd Mayweather, that would be incredible not only for him, but also for boxing. I'm actually secretly wanting Logan to win, although that doesn't mean I have much hope of that actually manifesting.

I’m in agreement here. I don’t think Logan is or should be the favorite, but I’m crossing my fingers for him to land a lucky punch and shut Mayweather up. I just take issue with the people who say he’s a YouTuber who has no chance in a fight. He’s an experienced wrestler and I’m sure could beat the hell out of 99.9% of this forum, myself included. That being said, maybe Mayweather could take down 100%.
You cant really stop people on saying up those things because basing up into their career then even a blind person would be just hearing out would able to make out comparisons between these two guys.

We cant stop them on criticizing or do really have a look down on Logan's capacity towards boxing.Yes, he might able to beat up 99% of us on this forum but its not the main issue here.

Lucky punches do exist but doesnt mean that we would really be seeing it on this fight.Supposed these exhibition fights are for the sake of entertainment then most like we cant really be seeing
such stuffs.
4176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: travelling internationally with a hard wallet on: May 06, 2021, 07:26:07 PM
You cannot be deny into entry just because you hold an hardware wallet. It is not a spying tools neither is it a device that is prone to hazard. It does not fall into any of the item listed in the category listed in the following link https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/travelsecure-subsite/Pages/Items-you-cannot-take-on-plane.aspx
Yeah, there were guidelines on what are the things which are prohibited, there might be some alterations or add up on some particular countries but its none really that included on anything which doesnt do any harm.

For a small usb-like type of thing then it wont really be an issue and that wont really be confiscated.Unless if someone does have that evil intent then they would surely be doing something fishy into your belongings.

So for this question then i wont really be worrying about this manner, you can bring all the things you do like as long it is included on the things which are allowed.
4177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell your Bitcoins or die - Bitcoin to $5000 soon - Fiat is best alternative on: May 05, 2021, 11:27:21 PM
When some people miss the opportunity to buy at a cheap price they just spread fuds on the internet like an idiot. When it is at that price range many people ignore to buy, now that the price is already high they wish for it to go low. It is like they wish for a time machine that only exists in movies. Regret always comes last, if you will keep getting stuck in the past then nothing will happen. Bitcoin has still a lot to grow so buying it at its current price is not a bad choice. If you still hesitate, then just wait for it until it hits 6 digit mark.
Common behavior of most investors that do easily doubt or aren't sure on how they should deal with the volatility and its not a surprising thing.

For those who had risk out are the ones who had the chance on making profits when the market tends to recover or rising again and to those who had missed out the opportunity

then they are the ones who would really be complaining and doesn't even trying to realize on what are the things that they had missed out.
4178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This happened many months ago but still wanted to share. on: May 05, 2021, 09:22:40 PM
This shows how important is to always read the terms and conditions and even more important when you are using your bonus which usually has even more terms and conditions applied before you withdraw.Sorry for your trouble but I am sure you now never skip a reading of any term and conditions anymore.
This is true for anything that you do, people most of the time do not bother themselves about it thinking this is not going to affect them but we know that in fact it does, which is why you must always read the TOS of any website in which you deposit money, like your bank, a casino or an exchange, if you do not do it you put yourself at risk which is why he lost an amount of money that for many members of the forum is massive, the only thing I hope is that the OP learned his lesson so this does not happen to him again in another website.
We wont really learn something if we don't experience it but it isn't really needed for us to experience first before we do the right thing.

Why we cant just give out some small time or duration for us to read up on whats their terms or rules for us not to experience these kind of
circumstances in the future?

We wont learn until experiencing some consequences which is common.
4179  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Staking without verification or KYC requirements on: May 05, 2021, 08:13:33 PM
Which Crypto Staking Exchangers or any wallet without verification or KYC requirements?

As far as some popular exchange is concerned, I think KYC is necessary requirement before anyone can participate in a staking program.

If you saw some on low to mid trading platforms offering stake without KYC, I doubt their legitimacy but you can search for it.
This is actually right!

OP, you can check out this list too for other options for you to take: https://www.blocksocial.com/top-staking-as-a-service-platforms-to-stake-crypto/

Aint sure if there are platforms who doesn't require KYC before you can stake out since im not really that interested on leaving all my funds on a certain platform
or 3rd parties just for me to gain some small amount of returns for a very long time of been holding or been on idle.
