This might could turn into different if that guy will going to lose. You know that base on the story of the gamblers that losses their mind in the gambling like betting to the extent level to which it did result on killing themselves after losing in the bet. Yes, cockfight here in our place is very common and there is a guy who no money and betting huge as it could be his final option to live life if he will going to win and to kill himself if he will going to lose. The result? He did kill himself because he could not pay the bet he raise when it was called upon. He just shoot his head and then died in the cockpit arena.
This should not be the kind of gambler we wanted to see because this kind of betting is a desperate way and it should be controlled as early as possible to find a way to remove all the stress in the hopes of winning and taking back all the money losses that has been accumulated.
Although I never met the guy before he suicide, I already heard about a husband who punches his wife or his parent because of gambling. His wife doesn't give him the money he will use to play gambling, and the games he played are card games. His neighborhood already knows that guy is a gambler, a heavy gambler, and still gambling until his wife left him. It is a lesson for us about how dangerously addicted gambling if he becomes a heavily addicted gambler. We must take this as a lesson from other people always to avoid playing gambling too long. Everything matters with luck when you are dealing with gambling.Good thing that he had won that spin and if not then for sure he would really be hanging on a tree due to extreme depression and stress.
To think on where he would go home if he had sold everything including his clothes? Where he would start up? unless if his loved ones will save him up but for sure it wont really be an easy situation

Yeah, that is why he is the luckiest person at that time because he really made a lot of money from gambling after he risks all of his mines. To be honest, I do not think too much about the small dip in bitcoin in these few days because I feel that the bitcoin price will be back to the high price.
Even if the bitcoin price is down near $11k, it will bounce up to the high price. And it is proved that now the bitcoin price can back to the $11,400.
Bitcoin price now seems to have a fast move because the order buys and order sells change differently than a few days ago. So we have a chance to see the increases in this weekend or next week.
I hope that the price will still go up and break $11,500 because that price will be difficult to break for now.
But I still prepare myself, just in case the price is down because of the flash dump that can happen to the market. I am sure that people will take their profit because of this increase.

Having money involved doesn't make it gambling. If I stake other valuable things aside money (like a banana, apple, meat, etc) to prove my skills/reputation or how good and trusted I'm in my predictions and I lose it for not being correct, is that still gambling?
Yes, I think that is still gambling because you risk something, and no matter if you win or lose, you still gamble. And no matter what involving in that risk, that is gambling. The idea of this is great just because they Don’t have my complete control with the outcome, and it’s probably for the best for the environment. I have no idea that this existed, but it’s cool.

This pandemic makes people think about making money from many sources, and luckily for people who know about crypto, they can use crypto to make money. Maybe those people want to hold their bitcoin in their wallets because they concern about the hacking in the exchanges. The small pump help people to gain some profit for a while, and I think many of them are making some money. But in a long term, bitcoin will have a big pump like before, and I am sure that pump will be bigger than before. Although the pump will not happen quickly, we can still use that pump to make a profit. Maybe the price will increase step by step and not directly jump to the highest price. That can be good for us if we can try to buy low and sell high. |

Bitcoin is doing very well so far however it doesn't mean bitcoin is about mooning. It's going to be bear for a while but we could still be consolidating between $10.5k-$12k before the next impulse up or down. However, with bitcoin we're always good position since mass adoption on the way.
It will change to the bull run someday, just don't lose hope because bitcoin still at the bear market. We should be happy with the situation now because bitcoin can back to the $11k, and sooner or later, the price will increase. I think the adoption process still runs, and bitcoin can invite more people to come to the bitcoin world, but we need to be patient to see bitcoin become globally. That time will come soon, especially if the bitcoin price can jump to the new high price, and people will see and think about bitcoin. I think when the bull run comes, the situations will be similar to what we saw before. So we need to try to follow the bitcoin journey and don't forget to take your profit while you can. I agree with the OP that bitcoin is now preparing for the new bull run, and maybe the time will be happening this year or next year. But we don't know the truth when the bull run will happen. We could only hope for that. Maybe when the price can break $15k or up to $19k, we will see the bitcoin amount transfer to the exchange wallet. I think that is because it will safer to holding bitcoin to personal wallets if we do not want to sell bitcoin right away. Besides that, we can prevent the stealing that can happen at the exchanges too. It affects or not, but for the bitcoin owner, they don't have to risk their bitcoin from the hacking, and they will only transfer their bitcoin to the exchanges if the price increase to their target price. Many people will still trade their bitcoin as they want to increase the bitcoin amount, but they hold a big part of the bitcoin amount in their personal wallet for safety reasons. There are a lot of newbies today are wanting to make a large earner with the use of trading but the problem is they don't want to take the essential on trading because they want the most and easiest way to earn with this but the problem is they spend a lot of time and money by just having too much mistake.
For me trading still is the best than way to earn than staking, this is for people who use the market volatility.
In staking they are just holding their coin without earning.
Many of them are losing money in trading because they don't learn deeper about trading. They think that trading is one way to make a lot of money in the short term, but that is not so simple. Many things that they need to do before they can make a lot of money from trading. They need to have time and patient to be successful people in trading or pro trader. If they can realize that the way to be a pro trader will not easy, they will think twice to pass that way, and they will not make a rush action in trading. |
