Do you think the bitcoin adoption of these countries and the reason for adoption is good for the bitcoin and cryptocurrency growth?
Bitcoin is for you, your friends, and your enemies. That's what a neutral decentralized money platform does — have no biases, hence the freedom.

MetaMask is the best that we got unless you want to run a Ethereum full node and do some command line work. Browser extensions are what's used for Ethereum platforms simply because it's an easy way for the wallet to connect to the platform.
Tip: use a Ledger/Trezor + MetaMask.

You have a point, but that also means you have to pay for the domain [IMO, throwaway emails (already mentioned by a few users) are slightly better].
Custom domains can be as low as $8 per year on NameCheap, and a higher email service plan from a decent email client can be as low as $5 per month. It's something that people should be considering if they're willing to pay for convenience.

That's the specific reason why it became a habit for me to change my main email address from time to time. Using a custom domain makes this far easier as you wouldn't need to register a new email account every time I change addresses.

Fun fact: we're already halfway away from the next Bitcoin halving(or halvening, whatever). It totally felt like the last halving was just less than a year ago.

Another competitor to existing platforms, so that's always a good thing. Nothing really much to talk about though kasi wala pa tayong idea sa fees at kung ano ang mga potential features lol.

Don't get your hopes up too much because this is pretty much just a proposal — whereas obviously there is no guarantee of it getting accepted in the end. Baby steps though, so it's still technically good news.
Funny how news such as this doesn't get the community hyped up as much as it used to back then though lol. If this was in 2017 we'd be up 10% almost instantly.

While the QuadrigaCX incident is definitely a very interesting story, Netflix sure know how to over-exaggerate and to focus a lot on the conspiracies of each story like with their real-life crime series. "The Hunt for the Crypto King". We've already had the Cryptoqueen, up next is the "Crypto Prince".
Regardless looks like a very interesting watch.

I honestly low-key want to get wallet software banned on the Google Play Store so people would actually be forced to do a bit more research on what wallet to install lmao. Because it's a safe assumption that a lot of people just search "bitcoin wallet" or "crypto wallet" and install one of the top #3 results(which are sometimes ads).

Donating through bitcoin/crypto isn't new — I mean, we literally had a $10m+ donation to the Ukrainian government/charities.
Not sure if the crypto community in general would be keen to donate to religions though, besides probably some people with the same faith.

Fees of sending USDT is pretty cheap on any blockchain besides Ethereum which will cost you like $5-10 a transaction on a good day. Unfortunately a lot of exchanges doesn't support USDT withdrawal on other networks besides Ethereum.

$350k-$450k is actually very realistic, it's just a matter of 'when'.
Definitely not sure if I would listen to that guy though, especially knowing that his thesis is pretty much just "history repeating itself", and that's pretty much it. Seems like your typical social media influencer that's just looking for attention.

Not to detract from Bitcointalk's success, but it's really not hard to see it as the "best forum" because it's pretty much the only bitcoin/crypto forum that isn't dead and that isn't 100% spam lol. I'd say that the Bitcoin Stack Exchange[1] is also great, but it's probably more on the technical side of things.

While it sucks, I really can't blame everyone. The first time I've heard about Bitcoin, I immediately shrugged it off after like 5 minutes of research because of how bizarre the concept is and how unlikely it was to succeed(this was like in 2013 or something). It took me a second time and with actual dedication(not half-assed) in learning about it that I finally grasped it. Hopefully the uneducated critics would also have their sort of "second coming" sometime in the near future.

well clearly satoshi wasn't just doing it for the money. but what if satoshi popped up today and said the jokes on you guys, i'm cashing in. would that mean bitcoin was less valid then?
Nope, and actually I'm totally fine for him taking profits because he/she/they totally deserve it. But regardless, the sort of anti-capitalist people on social media would be spewing BS like saying that Satoshi has only been in it for the money or something like that.

This is either a really bad troll attempt, or a really really dumb post. No in-betweens. Bitcoin wouldn't be in a great situation if everyone knew that Satoshi was just purely profit-driven.

What do we really expect from having an open decentralized industry though? Of course there will be a crap ton of scams. But we really can't sort of "police" this, people in general just need to be a lot smarter or just a lot less stupid when it comes to investing their money.
