It was a really unfortunate and bad game weekend for Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Each of them got a 3-3 result in their games and let the wins slipped away from their hands. Because each of them had big score advantages before it became 3-3. But they couldn't maintain these advantages and it costed them a comfortable victory. While they were in this condition, Real Sociedad, Real Madrid and Sevilla all managed to win clear victories and pulled a little more away from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Barcelona are already out of the title race that's for sure.

I don't know why but Roma started getting really bad results on the previous weeks. Actually, they were one of the teams that made a great start to the season. With Mourinho, it seemed like they were going to have a solid season compared to the last one. But it turns out that it is not much different than the last season now. They were able to win only one time in their last 5 league games which is awful. I wonder if they will manage to recover as we are not even the halfway through the season.

The Rennes vs Lyon game two days ago was a disaster for Lyon surely. Because I bet that they also weren't expecting to lose this game by far like 4-1. In fact, Rennes and Lyon had similar level of performances before this game. And they had even the same points too. But this wasn't too much important for Rennes seemingly as they simply finished Lyon. They outperformed their opponent and got a very deserved win.

I'm curious about whether a few of Freiburg's next games will end up with poor results. Because Leverkusen were like cursed after losing to Bayern Munich by an embarrassing result.  Maybe Freiburg didn't lose by a similar score but maybe this could be the start of a bad period of time for them also. But I still think that they are a better team than Leverkusen in this season. And I think that they will continue to show this to us in the coming weeks. |

And once they have made a decision, they will sack Ole and make a change finally I think. There are some candidates on the table now. For example, Ralf Rangnick is speculated to come here lately. Conte was also a candidate but Tottenham brought him to the team after the Manchester United loss.
It's obvious that Ole isn't improving. At least for someone who lost 5-0 at home just a couple weeks ago, you'd expect him not to lose another match in a while at the very least, not at old Trafford but he did against city. It means that nothing has changed and it doesn't matter the amount of opportunities you give to him. I'm convinced that Ole isn't the man for this man utd team Maybe people will give the Arsenal example this season as they have recovered incredibly perfect so far. Yeah, they really made it even though they didn't sack Mikel Arteta and now we see them at the 5th place being only 2 points behind Liverpool. But this doesn't prove that this situation is the same as Arsenal's. I really don't appreciate Ole's choices about the players and game plan. It'd be better for the team to have the right manager. They can recover easier then. |

The race in Mexico yesterday was not the most delightful one truthfully. But I was really delighted with the start. I wasn't expecting Verstappen to take the lead from the start already because there were two tough opponents ahead of him. But I also knew how fast Red Bull was on this track. And he literally showed it to us. And after claiming the 1st position, he opened the gap with Hamilton a lot and won the race easily. It was very good to see Perez on the podium too as it was his home GP.

It was another productive weekend for Bayern Munich while it wasn't the same for Dortmund. Bayern Munich played one of their important games I think which was against Freiburg that are one of the best performing teams now. I was still favoring Bayern Munich highly in Allianz Arena of course but we never know what happens. As you can remember, Frankfurt got a very unexpected victory against Bayern Munich nearly a month ago. But Bayern Munich didn't surprise us and met the expectations by winning with a 2-1 result. Dortmund had a tough game also and they failed to win against Leipzig away (2-1). This helped Bayern Munich to relieve a little more as the point gap with Dortmund increased to 4.

Liverpool still are one of the teams that I love watching in the Champions League a lot now. They had a game against Atletico Madrid home last night. And I was definitely favoring Liverpool to win this game too. And they didn't surprise me by making the score 2-0 in the first 21 minutes of the game also. Atletico Madrid got a red card in the 36th minute and this nearly ended their hopes of turning the game around. In the beginnings of the second half, Suarez still scored a goal but it was cancelled due to offside. And the final result was 2-0. Liverpool were already dominating the game before the red card so not much thing changed after that too. |

We have a really good game ahead which is Leipzig vs Dortmund. This game is going to be played on this Saturday. According to the odds, Leipzig are the favourite having a 1.96 odd. The 1X2 odds of this game are like this:  Dortmund have so many missing players now and maybe that's reason why Leipzig are seen as the favourite team here. And bookmakers would make these odds like that for a reason too. Dortmund are still following Bayern Munich by only one point. And they won all of their last 4 games in the Bundesliga too. But they got a loss against Ajax home by 3-1 in the CL last night. This can cause them to have a little problem on focusing on this game. Leipzig are 9 points behind Dortmund now but they started getting good results on the previous weeks. I think that both teams can score here. And we might see a draw. |

It looks like he really liked the new project of this team and he wants to be a part of it. His contract expires on June 30, 2022. So, he will be available for free transfer in this January. I don't think that Newcastle will miss this big chance of strengthening their defense line. If he doesn't change his mind, it looks like one of Newcastle's transfers is already ready.
