4181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experience As A Bounty Hunter on: January 02, 2021, 10:01:52 PM
I started entering this crypto world as a bounty hunter, at that time and until right now, still as a bounty hunter. Having hard work but no payment, payment but cannot be cashed out, or even payment but very very small value, until very worthy payment rate.
However, what makes it different is the progress and also our thought about the earning or income in the crypto world. It is not only from a bounty hunter. This can be a side job where we can also contribute more to this forum. But, crypto has taught me many things, about what to do as a worthy crypto enthusiast or event going to be a trader or investor. however once more, we need to spread our involvement, not only as a bounty hunter right here.
4182  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptomint9 not a plagiarist? on: January 02, 2021, 09:52:42 PM
Whether this moderator or forum allows it or not, basically this is included in plagiarism translation. namely where we take text from a source and then change it to another language, use or post it without including the source link. This is clearly plagiarism.
As I quote from Translation Plagiarism: A Modern Day Concern:
Quote
Whether you are familiar with the term or not, translation plagiarism is a relatively new way that individuals are copying another’s written work. It involves taking written content and translating it to another language in hopes of reduced plagiarism detection.
Maybe we need to report more about this kind of thing.
Or maybe the moderator did not detect the same text because it was only briefly so that plagiarism did not appear.

4183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC Dominance 70.4% in CoinMarketCap. Do I need to exchange BTC to ETH? on: January 02, 2021, 09:44:10 PM
It depend on your choice.
But for me personally, it will be better to focus on BTC. Now, BTC is being in a bullrun and we still cannot predict when it will end, the end of this year or will continue. ETH itself is struggling to follow the bull run of Bitcoin. But to convert BTC into ETh right now? Not yet, it is still a good time for BTC enough.
Just let's wait for how the market will change again.
4184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You all were right. I was wrong! on: January 02, 2021, 09:35:43 PM
-Snip-
You know, I also did the same, convert some of my BTC into XRP at that time and still leave XRP in my wallet, even the price is damn down and probably will be a shitcoin  Grin Grin
What I did right now is not focusing anymore on my XRP but on BTC. This coin will probably raise up again and again. SO, just take my past to be a personal lesson, focus on BTC, and not convert it again into altcoins. If we want to invest in altcoins, just buy it from another fund, not converting my BTC.

Lol, I thought your conclusion would be "I'm wrong for flipping my Bitcoin for a shit token like $XRP".
I'm likely going to laugh very hard, so sad, but this may be true, this may be going to be a shit coin, or even was a shitcoin.

4185  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Company are holding more than 10000 Bitcoin on: January 02, 2021, 09:23:45 PM
Isn't this actually good when they are holding more Bitcoin? Maybe it could be if they prepared it for the future, who knows how many years. because I believe that they are not the type of short term investment player. The more companies that are aware of Bitcoin and invest it in BTC, the better. The more demand is needed, the more Bitcoin price itself will be.
the fear is, maybe one day they are exposed to FUD and finally release the BTC at a low price which we don't want? of course, they will have quite an impact on the crypto market.
4186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO has started for Bitcoin on: January 02, 2021, 09:16:02 PM
This FOMO will continue as long as Bitcoin is still a hot topic of conversation. We will see how more and more people today are plunging into the world of crypto because they are tempted by the rapidly increasing price and profits. In this case, we may also know that Bitcoin is always the coin that gets the most attention to be predicted from time to time, from the bear market to the bull market.
Regarding FOMO itself, many beginners are forced to follow various predictions from channels or trusted people where they are already professionals to analyze the market. Because the newbies don't know how the Bitcoin market is today and in the future.
4187  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Solusi terbaik untuk investasi saat harga BTC dengan Convid-19 on: January 01, 2021, 11:58:31 PM
klo punya keberanian dan mau mengambil resiko paling ambil short tipis2
Masalahnya bukan berani apa tidaknya, tapi masalah potensi dan peluang untuk take profitnya. Kalau mau buy untuk long term, kayakanya bukan waktu yang tepat. Tapi kalau cuman mau short term, gak masalah gan. Kan tinggal lihat potensi up nya dalam beberapa hari kedepan. Misalnya kemungkinan up, kenapa tidak untuk beli dan pasang target untuk jual di angka yang paling realistis.
4188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: January 01, 2021, 11:50:52 PM
Bad choice if you sell your Bitcoin and exchange it for Dogecoin.
Yep, it is not a wise decision to change Bitcoin to Dogecoin. While most people want to collect more Bitcoin, why collect Doge? It is clear that Bitcoin has the potential to increase more. While Doge seems not really sure whether to have the bullish or not this year. So, in my opinion, it is much better to join in a coin with more potential to grow its price than following a coin like Doge.
4189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex delisting XMR, DASH and ZEC. Will this affect Bitcoin? on: January 01, 2021, 11:42:02 PM
Umm, what is the main reason behind this delisting? I doubt it is a political issue.  Undecided
By the way, if it is not big news related to the crypto market as a whole, it shouldn't impact much in Bitcoin price. I am sure if Bitcoin can continue to increase even if there will be a delisting issue for XMR, DASH and ZEC. We already have a delisting issue for XRP but no impact on Bitcoin price. So why we must be afraid of the current delisting issue?  Wink
4190  Other / Archival / Re: .. on: January 01, 2021, 11:26:04 PM
If we continue this trend, we will see 100k before the end of 2021.
I really hope it happens. But it also depends on the news or issues related to Bitcoin throughout 2021. If there will be no BTC ban issue, Hacking case, or other big negative news, then $100K as you said isn't impossible to achieve. So far, I don't hear one of that bad news, and I expect no one tries to spread FUDs later.
4191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For beginners which trading option is best and which platform and why? on: December 30, 2020, 11:46:32 PM
IN my opinion, as what I am experiencing and doing it also, I will use spot trading. Additionally, I will also choose a local exchange in my country that is trusted and under government law and registered there, so it will be more secure.
It is done because a newbie may not know which exchange is good and reputable. And commonly they will deposit it by fiat and local exchange is the best way to make it.
However, if you got coins for trading from several certain programs, you can choose Binance as the referred exchange. This is also very reputable and there are many choices of coins and also trading types.

And also one to remember, please do not head directly to future trading even you got a VIP signal from VIP group future trading. Because it may not work at you fully and you can lose your funds easily. SO, start from basic in spot trading.
4192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: December 30, 2020, 11:41:33 PM
-snip-
Probably it is only done by a professional gambler. Because generally, if they are only playing gambling for life, and they are not experienced enough, they will lose more than win. Many people around me play gambling and they do not get anything. They precisely sell their wealth for this gambling addiction and they got nothing This is a very bad gambling problem around us in society.

S for me, gambling as a way to live their life is only done by professional gamblers with experiences and also in a certain casino.
4193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitstamp requires US customer to withdraw XRP on: December 30, 2020, 11:35:37 PM
Same with me, I bought XRP at 0,6 more and now still holding it.
Fortunately, I still keep it in my exchange wallet in my country, it is still listed there.

You and all of the XRP holders in the US may feel bad about this especially when many more big exchanges announce delisting this coin.
Every day the price is dumped because of that bad news again and again.
SEC really knows how to break XRP

And then, yeah, the easiest way to store your XRP if want it for long-term investment is using an offline wallet or if it is paid, you can choose to mobile wallet. Trust wallet is easy to use and it is a multi-wallet. There are several choices of the coins to store there.
Hopefully, the problem of XRP can really be clear and solved.
4194  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown due to covid19 is painful on: December 30, 2020, 04:12:02 PM
This is phase wave 2 of this pandemic happening, and what's worse is that the virus has mutated and is getting worse. Maybe we are used to this condition sometimes, but of course, we always hope that this pandemic will end quickly, right? However, the reality is that this pandemic is getting higher, even worse in some countries.

And indeed, this New Year and various other major events in my country should not be held by gathering a crowd, this is to reduce the number of the increasing spread of the virus. But the bad thing is, not all people understand this. Many of them remain on vacation regardless of health protocol. This is sad. When we are desperately trying to get up for the sake of health and also the economy, it happens that they easily violate health protocols just for a vacation.
4195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My email and phone have been hacked, is my bitcoin safe? on: December 30, 2020, 04:02:25 PM
Hi there tonight i found out my email was hacked and the password changed. i also watched in real time as the hacker went to my binance and bittrex accounts and changed the passwords and then logged into them.
For this, it is no longer safe, can you still access your exchange account? if there are still other exchanges using your same email and password, it is better for you to make 2FA access the exchange. Alternatively, you can also change the email by contacting their supports (if available). If you want to non-activate the account, you can also contact the exchanges by providing evidence that you are the owners of the account and change the account again by using another email. But, I am sure that all things regarding your email are no longer safe, so prepare for other attacks by the hackers. beware, they may not stop till they get what they want.

Earlier this morning i got an email which i thought was from ledger saying that  "withdrawal delayed" so i opened it and it said someone from the ukraine was trying to withdraw from my ledger. So i got scared and clicked on the cancel button and it didnt do anything but bring me to a broken link. Thats probably how this came about somehow.
Wow, this is scary if they have been able to access your ledger. Be careful with the broken link because you don't know whether that is a real link or a trap by the hacker for you to click the delayed link of withdrawal.

And also, we don't know the initial problem why the hacker can access your email, whether it came from your mobile phone or even your computer or laptop device. or did you use other people's devices to access your email? This may be very risky to do that.
4196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone will agree with Bitcoin, you should know this! on: December 26, 2020, 10:14:49 PM
You're right. Now everyone will agree with the BItcoin. The reasons? Many of these we can find in real life. I will point it based on the experiences that I most find around my environment or what I have read:
1. They do not know Bitcoin exactly
Most of them do not know about Bitcoin exactly. They are not even read about Bitcoin and understand it. But they only heard something from someone and others. Without any knowledge or analysis, they claim that Bitcoin is bad and not even good to take. They only follow what people say and what the opposite media offer.

2. They know but they don't want to agree
Some of them know about Bitcoin, they know about how cryptocurrency and they also know about the basic knowledge about Bitcoin until the probably future investment. But, they ignore it to know because they really don't like the idea and condition of BTC. Sometimes, politics, financial problems, and also business lead to this problem.

3. People against Bitcoin'Many also against Bitcoin because they think BTC will make the loss of everything, make the financial system broken, unwilling rich condition of other people within Bitcoin, and also the idea of religious relation.
4197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why XRP Crash? on: December 26, 2020, 10:06:08 PM
It has happened several days ago, the reason is about the problem between XRP and SEC. Find more on Google about what happens between the two. This is a complicated problem that they have and it is followed by a certain broken rule and law. And this is not only about in the crypto world but in the real world.
And what happens is that many people are being panicked and the sell off their XRP panicly. The price is crashing and we do not know the future.
4198  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldn't this be treated as an obvious plagiarism case? on: December 26, 2020, 09:57:49 PM

Image plagiarism simply means image theft. This happens when someone copies your photos online, like copying images from your Instagram, Flickr, Facebook, your blog, or any online platform, and then reuse them somewhere else without properly citing those pictures, often in a way that disregards you as the copyright owner and shows as if the photos were their own.

What I took from the definition above taken from this artilce about image plagiarism (and we can also find more sources about this), it is part of plagiarism, as in a common way (regardless of whether this forum allows it or not).

There are some notes:
- Copying and pasting an image without any source (some images may have a copyright and we must include the source of that copyright image)
- Showing or claiming the image as their own. If @bitcoinermatt did it, showing and claiming the image as his own, it is surely an image theft/plagiarism.
4199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: prediction betting platform pros and cons? on: December 26, 2020, 09:46:59 PM
I am searching on google about the prediction betting platform. And wow, I found so many sites offering that prediction for betting or gambling. Moreover, many have listed the top prediction sites with many proofs.
But what I thought: 'is it the same with the prediction on trading?
On trading, we can surely know the technical analysis. But in betting, we do not know the analysis based on the habit or current condition.

Pros:
Proofs of being successful gambling prediction with many wins to have

Cons:
If the betting is a real sport, how can they predict it?
Is there any relation with the probabilities of the gambling behind the game, who have higher fees can control the game and make the players do what they want?
4200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Trading can be considered as Gambling? on: December 26, 2020, 09:37:05 PM
I have ever read this interesting article about is trading a gambling.
Basically, gambling and also trading have similarities and also differences. the similarities lay in the way they put the psychological fortitude to prepare even they will get loss or event profits, sometimes based on luck. There is also not a certain 100% guarantee about the future result of gambling or trading.

However, there are also some differences between these two. If you are a professional trader, you will not lay the result based on luck. It is more likely based on the analysis that is done, skill, strategies, and also the right decision at the right moment. This is more likely as a science, not luck or gambling without any analysis.

So, it will depend on who you are. if you are only trading not based on analysis, it is true that you only gamble on the results. But if you are doing exact analysis, having certain repeatedly strategies and professional skills, you are a true trader, not a gambler.
