4181  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: is there any demand for Bitmex or binance verified accounts? on: November 01, 2020, 05:12:54 AM
You created the same thread on the other board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5285829.msg55493756#msg55493756 - (Archived). Multiple sales thread for the same product isn't allowed on the forum.

Perhaps you would get a few buyers, but the question is how you got these verified accounts? A lot of account means probably hacked accounts. You have only single documents and how you will verify a lot of accounts? Who will buy an account from you then they will regret later.

Stop selling verified account which has done by the government-issued card.
4182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some bounty hunters are so ungrateful on: October 31, 2020, 05:22:37 PM
After done a bounty campaign, hunters even do not bother to monitor the project if they skip or live. So how you can expect they will care about the campaign manager? I have remembered when I have fight BQT token. But unfortunately, we hadn't found any response from the bounty hunters. Ridiculous that we were fighting for them.

If the manager could escrow the funds then it's fine, but it's quite complicated for a token campaign. For the BTC campaign, the escrow fund is quite easy. I can't comment about escrow for the token campaign since the token isn't worthy before listing on the exchange.
4183  Other / Beginners & Help / Engagement on the Zero/Low-value post. on: October 31, 2020, 04:24:24 PM
It seems we are engaging with Zero/Low-value posts lately. From yesterday I have reported 3 Zero/Low-value posts and that have marked good. Even a few good users engaged in the discussions, but no one bothered to report that post. For example this post, (Archived). Although they had engaged with the constructive discussion it would be an opportunity for spammers. It's better if we report to moderators such as Zero/Low-value posts instead of engaging with it to discourage spams from the forum.

My intention isn't to hurt anyone, just want to encourage to use the "report to moderator" button besides constructive discussions. So that we may keep our roles to build a decent forum. At least we can try from our ends.
4184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can bitcoin be made easy? on: October 31, 2020, 09:46:12 AM
I have been saying it always, if you do not save your assets then no one can help you. You should gain knowledge as much as possible that you are involved with. It's pretty easy to scam who do not have proper knowledge about Bitcoin. For example, a few newbies believe that there is possibly double your bitcoin with a sec. But the reality is different and we all know those are old members here.

Anyway, there is a lot of thread that has been created how save your assets from the scammers, but who cares? Because still you have been seeing many scams happening due to lack of proper knowledge about Bitcoin. Don't remember, you are responsible for your assets. So you have to take a real-time decision based on timing.
4185  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Wallet balance = $??? on: October 31, 2020, 03:11:30 AM
1.Just copy the balance of your electrum.
2. Search on your browser "BTC to USD"
3. Paste the amount of the bitcoin.
4. You will get the estimated value.
OP had not been asking how to find BTC/USD price into Google. He is asking how it's possible to see BTC/USD price into the Electrum wallet. Why is it necessary every time copy paste on Google since all you have in a single wallet? Are you reading other's posts or just replying your own opinion? Because complete answer has given by @nc50lc.

If you don't want you can  use the coinmarketcap, binance, or coinbase.
Google collecting price from Coinbase, so technically, you have been seen price from the coinbase.

@OP, hope you got your answer from the second reply made by @nc50lc, so you may lock this thread from the lower left to avoid unnecessary discussion
4186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest #Bitcoin transaction in history was sent literally just now! on: October 30, 2020, 06:33:06 PM
The ridiculously low fee was $3,54
Why it should be ridiculous? Wasn't it the goal of Bitcoin technology? The fees would even lower, depends on the current transaction pressure. You can't compare bitcoin fees with any centralized payment method. There is no third party involved in Bitcoin transactions, and that's the advantage of Bitcoin. Transfer your money worldwide with low fees.

Why did they pay such low fees? How did they do it?
Rediclius, even a Sr. Member don't know how works Bitcoin transaction fees.
4187  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: help-binance.com fake BTC,ETH,USDT giveaway. on: October 30, 2020, 06:02:33 PM
Seems they have been asking to send BTC from 0.05 to 5 BTC to their address. What a ridiculous way to verify your address by sending BTC. Any true giveaway won't ask for send money to get a reward. Double your money within sec an unrealistic expectation. There is another way to verify your address like sign a message, it doesn't require sending funds to the scammer.

Anyway, I believe the community already knows about this scam method. Perhaps a few greedy newbies would fall into this trap that isn't active on the forum.

Good job OP.
4188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Popular Investing Strategies for Beginners on: October 30, 2020, 05:16:06 PM
Yea, I have to admit that your article would be quite useful for a beginner. But you have to remember that we need some real experience to start trading. For that, it's suggested to start with a small amount and know the market behavior. Anyone can't be a gainer at the beginning, so it's important to start with a small amount that you can afford to lose.

There is one important point in the article about selecting the right pair for trading. Choosing the worst shitcoin could drive into losses. It's better to select a few trading pairs and research their historical background. One more thing, during trade you should avoid greed and keep patience to become a successful trader.
4189  Economy / Reputation / Re: Participants cheat with Alt in Bounty: [DeFi] Huna.Finance. on: October 30, 2020, 04:53:54 PM
I took the help of that friend to join an Airdrop a long time ago, then I did not have a btt account, and now I do not understand much.
It's quite surprising you had joined an Airdrop on the forum even you hadn't an account here. Who will believe in this statement? At least I am not one of them. Yea seems you don't understand much, but you know how to cheat on the campaign to gain more money. On the other hand, you know better how to abuse trust system. You have been leaving false feedbacks to the DT members.

I am not lying i just told the whole scenario happened and nothing. And i didn't deleted post as i know i helped him .
Again lying....
4190  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ponzi Promoter [supermoney] on: October 29, 2020, 05:17:10 PM
Its seems he made post on Investor-based games board where a warning exist about lose of money. So I think only ponzi gambler will take a risk there. On the other hand that user don't have fear about red tag since many DT members tag him from 2016. I think promoting Ponzi scheme become his profession LOL. Also noticed that I have supported his red flag previously. So just adding another negative feedback.
4191  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hit 1500 earned merits so far. on: October 29, 2020, 05:09:02 PM
Noting not to merit this post but there are still two members who gave it to you, well you really deserve it because of the good advise and inspirations you have given for every beginner of this forum.
There is no special reason to ask not to merit on this thread. I have earned a lot, many users really need it more than me. So you can merit on some of them at least to a good post. Everyone who have been making a good post they all are deserve merits IMO. And as a merit source I have been doing my best to merit on such as posts.

I have been trying always to encourage and inspire newbies  that everything is possible by your contributions. Don't  be hopeless even you didn't get merits on your quality posts. Because it would miss, but you will get something eventually from the community if you are doing good.
4192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The world after the last bitcoin is mined on: October 29, 2020, 04:55:35 PM
Fully mined bitcoin doesn't mean it will be centralized. Still, you will be the owner of that amount you are holding and you can transfer funds without a centralized third party. That means bitcoin is decentralized forever. I am sure we will not alive during that time, we don't know if bitcoin exists till 2140. Who knows if bitcoin replace by some other currency. But stay sure, it will be decentralized if exist.
4193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Does Bitcoin Decouple From Gold? on: October 29, 2020, 03:11:11 PM
First of all, I want to clarify to you that, technically Bitcoin isn't correlated with Gold anyway. So as usual price trend wouldn't be correlated as well. It seems you put all of your eggs in one basket. Since you know about the bitcoin then I believe it was a golden opportunity for you to invest a part of your portfolio into the bitcoin. Gold is a real asset exist in real life, Bitcoin is a virtual currency that exists only in virtual life. You can't compare both of them, because one is currency, another is assets.

Remember, Bitcoin is a much volatile currency, it would pump or drop anytime. So, only invest what you can afford. Because it would happen that you will have to for a year to get benefits from Bitcoin.
4194  Economy / Reputation / Re: Participants cheat with Alt in Bounty: [DeFi] Huna.Finance. on: October 29, 2020, 01:00:04 PM
The whole scene is that Suvo and Me are different. Actually for one airdrop suvo has proxy ban at that time so i helped him for posting his post only. And after that you can also see no post is made for that Eth address and Telegram Account. Kindly understand the whole situation and help me.
Stop lying, the case is different. I have doubts even you have got the point of accusation. This isn't something Airdrop related case, it's just proof of your cheating. Also, I can't see your post on the Airdrop thread, both posts on the campaign thread. What does mean a proxy ban on the forum? As far as I know proxy ban show only after signup, so this is an invalid explanation.

And why did you deleted the post where your ETH address was attached? Have you seen there is already Archived your post? Deleting post now isn't going to help you.
4195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Monthly Automatic Payment using Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2020, 04:53:53 PM
Maybe if you have a custodial wallet that supports automatic recurring payments, perhaps you could set it up there. Most of the banks have that kind of feature; perhaps there are custodial wallets in your area that could do that as well.
If I am not wrong then there is no such as custodial wallet who has been offering such as payment system. Even there is, so what is the difference between using a custodial wallet and using banks for monthly payments? The only difference is, by using a custodial wallet you are directly paying via BTC, nothing else. Also, there is a question about Bitcoin price during payments it would be direct BTC or calculate in USD. So, it would be quite a complicated service for a custodial wallet.
4196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to BTC if just a few whales will buy all left supply? on: October 28, 2020, 04:02:55 PM
Think simply, basically if whales try to accumulate all BTC it wouldn't possible at all. Because the current circulation supply holding by many people, they should agree to sell if whales want to accumulate all which isn't possible. But if it happens, means there will be less circulation supply. As a result, prices will be higher and higher, then it would be more difficult to accumulate more.

Anyway, it wouldn't happen at all since the price isn't very low.
4197  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happened to the user @gunungkembar. on: October 27, 2020, 03:22:10 PM
Because what he found was wrong, that's why he/someone reported his post to moderator to be deleted.
Nah, moderators can't delete the post either it's wrong or right if anyone doesn't break forum rules. The cheating campaign isn't moderated by the forum since it is allowed to have multiple accounts. Its campaign rules to prevent cheating, moderators aren't involved with any specific campaign rules if it's not against forum rules.

I am assuming the post is deleted by @gunungkembar. I think it's fine to delete evidence that has to turn into wrong. Most likely accusation was wrong according to bounty campaign manager explanations.

4199  Other / Beginners & Help / Hit 1500 earned merits so far. on: October 26, 2020, 02:45:02 PM
Please don't merit on this post. It's just a motivational post to encourage newbies to contribute to the forum.

The registered date on March 28, 2018. Till today 1500 merits earned so far, when I joined this forum merits system was introduced. Honestly, I wasn't a so good poster at the beginning nor I was a native English speaker. But day by day struggle to contribute to the forum and I believe I have successfully kept my role on the forum contributions. Starting from ZERO merits and become an established user of this forum.

I am proud that I become a merit source and directly keep my role to improve forums. Also, become DT1/DT2 by getting support forum users. I am mentioning that to notify you of how you can become a valuable asset for the forum. It's not an easy task if your intention to contribute to the forum. So far this community is friendly enough to help you always. Your aim shouldn't always to earn merits. I have earned more than I need since I earned which is enough to become Legendary.

If you are a newbie, then don't worry. Just keep your role for the forum and you will become a Legendary once a day.
4200  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Even if you buy a hardware device from an authorised reseller, you need to check on: October 26, 2020, 12:25:17 PM
The problem will happen if anyone has less knowledge about bitcoin technical knowledge. I bought a Ledger wallet from Amazon as well. It was on solid packed when arrived at me. Before open this, I search as much as possible how Ledger works. I set my own password and mnemonic words, I don't have doubts about that, of course, the seller was Ledger official.

If someone wondering to enter something new, then he should research as much as possible to learn. So when anyone learns then there would be doubts when received a Ledger with a pre-generated password and seed. It's always suggested if you have doubts then reset your device by entering the wrong password on the device. So there will be new mnemonic words and passwords as well.
