USA does dominate but this year has been talked a lot like they are not bringing their big guns which could be the reason why people think maybe this year is the year they finally lose. Hell they already lost one game so far, they haven't lost in the past decade or so I think before this, I know national teams do not play that much but Coach K coached 78 games and won all of them whereas right now they already lost to Australia in an exhibition game.
So, considering they are not at their 100% power we may actually see an upset but even that is a big IF because this is USA national team we are talking about, even at their worst roster they are miles better than anyone else, this just looks bad compared to all-star team they had in the previous 10-15 years.
The US is made up of mostly players who didnt even make the 3rd all nba team. This team can lose to some of the other teams out there. One of the worse put together teams in awhile. They will have their struggles in this tournament. But with one of the best coaches in the world... |

They probably end between from 4th to 8th place.

I did not see any of the match today but I was speculating City to win by 3 - 1 goals and they did but very sad to see the result in Tottenham vs Newcastle match. Is it that Tottenham played bad or it's Newcastle who out played Tottenham.
The way things we have seen so far in this three round, I can tell that we are going to see another battle between Liverpool vs City.

Bavarians were just too strong with an incredible Lewandowski who scored three goals and owned Schalke all alone - everybody talking about Coutinho and then you have Robert. Absolutely, Lewandowski can kill most of the opponents in the league alone, and the most remarkable thing about him is that he basically never misses a match, neither enjured nor suspended - Bayern will then in return have a big problem if he picks up a (serious) injury missing 6-10 matches... Can you say something about the match itself - could not watch it, so I would be interested if they have been as dominant as the final score tells? Schalke had problems creating but its safe to say that they should have been awarded at least one, if not two penalties... |

I still can't believe how Real Madrid lost three valuable points last night. Real Madrid was ahead in all circumstances except goals. Benzema produced that only goal to the 80th minute. But poor Real couldn't hold the lead for just 10 minutes. I am totally frustrated to see how Madrid collapse on the last moments of the match.
Barcelona will clash with Betis, Messi would miss this match too. So, Real Betis have a possibility to defeat Barcelona in the absence of Messi.
Madrid are severly lacking in terms of creativity, it shows how Ronaldo was an integral member of the team and they are still missing his services in the team and with the Barcelona Betis game, we all remember how Betis managed to win at the Camp Nou last season and am sure that with Messi's absence they might get to do so once again. They are indeed missing Ronaldo who was capable of winning matches on his own whenever the rest did not perform as they should... |

The first half of dortmund was horrible.
in the end, however, the victory was deserved.
the match winner was jadon sancho again, also julian brandt made a very good game after his substitution.
Absolutely right, Brand and Hakimi when subbed in made an impact to the whole team with Witsel taking the nasty battles in the centre. But fair enough: Cologne showed a lot of heart and ran/fought for their lives. Unluckily, what was to be expected, they couldn´t do that for 90 minutes but got tired after 70 minutes. I can see few other teams doing the same giving Dortmund (and Bayern) a hard time this campaign, but in the end the high quality both teams can bring from the bench will always bring the ability to turn games around after the oponents legs get tired. Let´s see what Bayern can do to Schalke today 18:30 (UTC+2) Odds are 11.00 for Schalke, 5.25 for Draw, Bayern, 1.30 for Bayern. Let´s place some bets here. Are you guys always conclude who advances to the next stage after the first leg? Did any of you think Barca will go through after PSG slaughter them or when Liverpool lost to Barca 3-0 last season?
I'm quite surprised to see that only by one goal margin you can 'decide' the future of a team. Don't forget that Liverpool won 3-1 at Bayern, or that Palace beat MU yesterday.

I think that Wolves is a better team compared to Torino but not by a big margin so in the return leg anything can happen but I doubt Wolves will let this chance slip away from them.The best bet is Wolves to qualify because I am sure they will fight hard to be in Europa League group stages.
Indeed they are kind of "equal". But the Wolves are going to play the second match in their home which is actually a huge boost for any team. They will play defensively and try not to concede any goal in the game and they will qualify to the next stage with ease. I also expected a Torino home win since I rate them the better team actually - now they won’t stand a chance to advance... |

It seems your 3 - 1 prediction could well hit, but with this Arsenal perfomance, it's quite unlikely they won't concede more goals before the game ends.
It did indeed. Liverpool is unbeatable in this season. 3 win from 3 match. Leading the point table. Arsenal competed well but it was not enough to stop Liverpool. Salah was wonderful in this match. I hope City lose some points tomorrow LOL. I know I am too ambitious. City is a better team against Bournemouth. They will give everything to get whole three points. They know they lost two points against Tottenham. Liverpool were impressive indeed and dominated Arsenal all the way - deserved clear win! |

The odds for USA to win outright are 1.55 at the moment. Looks like an easy pick, but I am reading several opinions that players won't have the same motivation as the underdogs (Greece. Australia, etc).
