4181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: March 24, 2022, 09:21:06 AM
They have been trying to be a part of a lot of happenings and huge events in order to get the word of crypto out there. They have the capacity and the machinery to do it, and they're doing it as much as they could. It actually benefits not only for their own exposure but to the whole of cryptocurrency as well, so I don't have any problems with what they're doing at all.

Crypto.com with FIFA can actually be a reason for some fiat gamblers to switch to crypto for their gambling habits. It will rake in a lot of money and the market may even see huge growth if FIFA x Crypto.com proved to be a success.

Just watched the replay for Polaris and BOOM on SEA DPC. I must say, I'm impressed with how Polaris went toe-to-toe with a seemingly untouchable BOOM Esports. The only veteran player that I can recognize on this lineup is Mac, the rest are either young bloods or pubstars that haven't scratched the tournament grounds just yet. I love a good early rotation, and BOOM is quite known with their aggressive plays early on in the game. But Polaris knew how to counter this and sometimes turns around such engagements. I will have my eye on Polaris for the next few days for the SEA DPC matches. They're something worth betting for IMO.
I wouldn't say that the other teammates of Mac are young bloods. They're all no longer young bloods and they're the former team roster of Team Adroit.
There goes Boomy from TNC, Natsumi that also came from another team, Neon and Nikko that once went with XCTN. The experience that they've taken from different teams have been already formed and used on their reunion as Polaris.

Maybe I just haven't heard of them clearly. I remember Adroit's stint a year or two ago, but they haven't achieved much back then so perhaps that is why I thought some of them are young bloods. Boomy I quite know, but the rest are just unheard of names from me, or share the same name with other pubstars in the region that didn't quite make it to the cut-throat SEA server competitions.  But I must say Natsumi is a composed carry that can be self-sustainable if need be, all the more reason to watch this team fare against other names in the region.

Their next match is against SMG, a team which consists of veterans like midone and ninjaboogie. Polaris +1.5 should be the play here, but taking them as match winners should also be good value. If Polaris can go head to head against BOOM, then they can probably take SMG for a ride, too.
4184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinions about simulated reality games? on: March 23, 2022, 04:42:36 PM
I'm not a fan of these things, though it gives you a better picture on how probabilities unfold and help reach a certain conclusion by letting things play out by themselves. Normally one would assume that these games already have the outcome before it is shown to other bettors, but there will always be auditors on these games in order to verify the veracity and integrity of the games being shown. Anyway, why would you bet on algorithms pushing numbers to play on their own instead of betting on real people doing the real sport?
4185  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 23, 2022, 12:07:40 PM
If the offer is right then there's no way Connor wouldn't accept it. He only fights for the money and no longer represents his country proudly. On the other hand, Jake Paul only wants to maintain his record and would surely try to pay the right amount in order to cement his 'legacy'.

Neither of these guys are legit boxers, but Jake Paul has the reach and size advantage overall, but doesn't have the stamina to back it up. If this is an actual fight, McGregor has a huge chance to win. But this is a clown fest, so safe to bet on Jake Paul if you want to win some quick bucks.

Two ISP in the PBA, it's a good competition for this two. So when Globe will have their team too? lol..

What's the other ISP on the league if Converge will able to buy the franchise from Alaska?

Do you mean TNT KaTropa? It's not actually an ISP but just happened to be the same management with PLDT (ISP) under Manny Pangilinan.

There's even a rumor that Converge won't make it to the league if there's a PLDT team on the league. That will be a conflict of interest and part of the so-called PBA politics knowing the MVP's influence, the same as SMC.

And even then, Converge was able to finalize the deal to buy Alaska Aces, and they officially have a PBA team albeit there already exists another PBA team that is under the same (?) management.

What intrigues me is how will Converge develop Alaska Aces to be a prime team that can go against big names in the league. Alaska Aces is already an established team, but as of the moment they're not that great and needs more improvement if they want to reach the semis or even win the finals.

Tundra just smashed Secret in Dota2 with a clearly 2:0 against them and the funny thing is that Secret didn't manage to get 10 kills in either of the maps. My thoughts ? I think sumail is way over rated by the community and also he doesn't fit in Secret game play style.

If Tundra keeps playing like this , they might have a great chance for TI this year.

I thought it's going pretty well when he switched places with Nisha? Grin

Just on their previous matches Sumail was way confident of the switch, and mentioned that the carry meta heroes on this patch works well with Secret's tempo. Well some games it does,  some games they're just dumpstered. Also, Yapzor is, IMO, slowly fading away as a great 4 position especially on early rotations. There's a lot going on in Secret during this match against Tundra that I think just needs some recalibration (or getting used to). But yeah, Tundra played like beasts on this match and no doubt they deserve this win.

Going for at least 1 map for Secret on their next match against OG. Both are having troubles finding their form, but I think they'll be able to let us watch some good Dota.

Sad news dor Nigma Galaxy fans out there, they are all tested positive for COVID-19 except for Gh which they are still waiting for the result. There’s no update whether they will still play or not but there performance will be surely affected if they continue to play since there’s only 3hr23mins for there next match with Gladiator. Betting on Gladiator is a sure win!

Just got off work and this is what I got as a news lol. I was waiting for this game to be live and see whether Seleri has matured on drafting and can command a team of pubstars against some big names. Even though NGX tested positive for COVID, I don't think it will still be a walk in the park for Gladiators. Their recent performance is okay, especially against big names like Liquid and OG a month ago, but the inconsistencies on Seleri's drafting sometimes cause them to perform rather lousily on matches that they have a clear advantage on.

Do the tolerances really need to be down to 2 minutes, did they have that tight a schedule to broadcast that they cant just discuss for a little longer.     Poor team, maybe they can get a starlink satellite uplink and a power generator as backup like Ukraine peoples

Most of these events concerning DPC have a strict schedule, albeit them always being late for broadcast by 10-15 mins on their end. Idk why they don't allow for any grace period even further on online matches. They aren't losing much by allowing teams to get their shit together for a couple more minutes due to technical problems. It's unavoidable, and they know it. Even they have encountered lots of technical issues in the past and no one can even penalize them for the delays.
4190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Hoard Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2022, 08:47:13 PM
It is intended to be spent yes, but the amount of channels and areas where it can be used to is lacking, hence why not a lot of people are enthusiastic in spending it. Also as of the moment, it excels as an asset, and a lot of entities are seeing it as an effective one, so why not use it on where it is good at?

Bitcoin's capacity as an asset is just better than its utility as a currency.
4191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Hafthor Bjornsson vs. Eddie Hall - 19.3. on: March 19, 2022, 01:01:59 PM
These guys will get exhausted immediately, and they'd probably just be giving power blows every single time which will make this fight over shortly. The one with more stamina to move around the ring and trade blows is more likely to win this bout. They are both extremely powerful and their strength is their asset, but they are quite lacking in the stamina department.

For the lulz tho, I'd go for Thor Bjornsson just for raw power alone. Eddie is still massive and powerful but I think Thor takes the bout more efficiently.
4192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos invest on endorsement from celebrities on: March 19, 2022, 09:52:49 AM
Should casinos invest in the endorsement of celebrities just like what Stakes is doing or it's better to just stick with giveaways contests and maintain their reputation, we know we all know the high cost of celebrity endorsement should other casinos follow Stake's lead to partner or pay celebrities to promote them.

If they want to, they can, but celebrities are not that much effective nowadays. You can call most of them as "influencers" right now but even then, one cannot be sure that their reach and influence is enough to persuade people to gamble and play on the platform that they advertise. I think most people would still prefer bonuses and promotions than famous celebrities advertising the platform. What good does it do to them if celebrities endorse a platform? There isn't any, honestly.
4193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ukrainian token (virtual hrivna)l on: March 18, 2022, 06:27:54 PM
This will just be pumped to death and people will just watch it die. Approval should come from the highest office if they are going to create a tokenized version of a fiat currency, in order for people to bot get scammed and in order for the government lt take something from it. Ukraine legalized cryptocurrency and wholly recognized it, but I think they are far from capable of creating and handling their own cryptocurrency as of the moment, given the circumstances that they are facing right now.

ENCE exceeded my expectations, I didn't expect them to beat Vitality 2-0 and if they're able to beat Outsiders(formerly VP) then their series against Furia would be like the deciding series on whoever takes the quarterfinal spot. With that said i'll take ENCE at plus odds even though Outsiders swept Faze yesterday this one seems more of a 50-50 than a 60-40 which is what the odds currently suggest. Over 2.5 seems like a good alternative as well since these two are likely to get at least one map.

This was a nail-biter ngl. I only bet on over 2.5 maps and I'm not mad that ENCE pulled through against Vitality. I was hoping for a Vitality win but with the current form of Zywoo, and Apex being the top frag on most cases seems to be not the Vitality that I usually watch.

Anyway, I do agree with that ENCE pick against Outsiders. It's a value pick albeit the odds being skewed towards ENCE. We'll see. Outsiders is a good team with good composure, but ENCE just dominated a tier 1 team in a convincing fashion.
4195  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: March 18, 2022, 10:59:49 AM
That would surely lift most of the complaints off, but back in 2015 our intentions were to make as anonymous casino as possible (when crypto and all that stuff appeared).
Ain't much changed since then - we added email KYC and that's all what have changed about anonymity.
Seriously? Who are you trying to fool? You guys are using KYC as a cover to justify your scamming tricks just like some other crypto casinos out there.

Anyone with a half-decent brain knows that your casino will always be anonymous in order to avoid getting screwed by lawsuits etc filed by victims. Just remember that no excuse can overturn the messed up reputation of your site.

They have been trying to come out clean by imposing rules and other stuff that could make them seem legtimate to the unknowing players. I wish that there would be a new rule in this forum that bars known scammers to advertise their site or to promote a new one, but I guess that wouldn't happen. That red tag on their account isn't nearly enough to keep these guys out of business it seems, and people are still joining their scam campaign up to now.

I guess no matter how many warnings you give, the uninformed will always turn a blind eye on them so long as they benefit from it.

OG bullying Nigma on the first games of WEU DPC is something very typical of OG. It's something that I expect on online matches for NGX too, considering that they don't really play their typical game on online events. Good thing I skipped Nigma yesterday even though I was still amazed with how well Miracle played Invoker on Gamer's Galaxy LAN tournament. This games he doesn't perform quite to my liking, but bearing in mind that these games are just the start for NGX.
They're always like that as per observation of everyone.

They don't give their full at the very first games of their online tournaments and still think of something to make before they go in a crucial stats of going down into the DPC tournaments.

I think their mindset is like as long as they can still be part of the low bracket, everything can be push through by them.

Which is getting pretty old, but it works. And yes, NGX on groupstages will always be a skip for me, unless we're talking about TI. That is the only tournament wherein they strive to go for the upper bracket because the stakes are just high. Then again this is DPC that we're talking about, and it's equally important as to TI since if they didn't get enough points, they won't go to the prestige tournament. With that said, I'm expecting NGX to fight harder, but won't really place a bet on them just because.
Yes, still that works for them.

They are continuously testing new heroes, metas and strategies. That's why it's okay for them to have a bad run at their first matches. They're changing like beast when it comes to TI.

It's totally different when TI comes, teams are changing and hiding some strategies to surprise and have a sure win.

Yep. Especially that Tiny - Lycan combo from TI10. Nigma and PSG.LGD were the first ones to test it on scrims right even before the groupstages, though PSG used it more than Nigma at the time. Nigma also knew how to defeat that combo because they, too, hid that strat before PSG abused it heavily. Hopefully though, we see some more intense NGX on the early stages of the game for us to bet on them. Can't wait for DPC to get done with and move on to the next major.
4197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine: Zelensky signed the law "On virtual assets" today on: March 17, 2022, 02:44:56 PM
I think this is just the finalization of the previous law that was endorsed and signed by their government just a few months back. Them recognizing cryptocurrencies can allow them to rebuild their country after this war is over. Services and businesses related to cryptocurrencies can look up to Ukraine if they're seeking for base of their operations, which means more money for the country's economy in the future. Sooner or later, when all is said and done on the Ukrainian front, this law will help birth another crypto hub in Europe.

4199  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡ Thunderpick.com ⚡ Crypto Esports Betting 🎮🖥️🖱️ on: March 16, 2022, 03:35:22 PM
Most of the feedback that I'm seeing on this page talks about the lack of promotions of the platform. I agree that it might hurt on the advertising side of things, but if Thunderpick offers good lines and odds consistently, people will naturally come. Some bookies give out lots of promotions to attract bettors but they lack severely in customer service, speed of withdrawals, and grading the bet. But if Thunderpick offer those 3 things better than other platforms, they will gradually build people that will bet on the site.

I think promotions are good, especially on big titles. This is where Thunderpick should focus, and they would grow solidly so long as they don't neglect the qualities wherein they excel while others do not.

I already feel that unde dog team will gonna have an advantage on online tournaments especially OG and Secret because they already prepared during the Gamer Galaxy tournament. I was surprised that my lucky pick was right especially on Team Secret against Liquid since Secret adjust Sumail role to pos1 and switch to Nisha on this tournament. I'm following Sumail pub games and I was surprised that they really do it on actual tournament.

Its very hard to bet on group stage because the team is still adjusting but I'm very happy on my bet result yesterday.

Didn't even expect Sumail to do the drafting. He even admitted on the interview that his draft were inspired by BOOM on the last stages of Gamers Galaxy, but not 100% copying it. Also in Sumails pub games, he still goes for the midlane most of the time that's why it's quite surprising why he opted to go for pos 1 instead of mid. Nisha is also performing really good in the midlane, but his rotations are not really that well compared to when Sumail takes the midlane, but he's getting there.
