Is there anyway you can do this for me

viabtc is easy: visit https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ and paste your tx id.

CPFP:

I can do a (small) part for you...
You gave the link https://blockchain.info/address/18kdjpPEo84QFE2gdLMLacME3cTGMWqMY1, so i assume your withdrawal address was 18kdjpPEo84QFE2gdLMLacME3cTGMWqMY1?

If this is true, I created a raw, unsigned, transaction to use the 0.5509 BTC  input to create a 0.5502 BTC output to 18kdjpPEo84QFE2gdLMLacME3cTGMWqMY1.
This means that this transaction has a 0.0007BTC fee.
So, transaction c39df350bbbd51ee141f012cdff04af1be00ba5f3f26e38989c7e00f59e27804 has a size of 260 bytes and a fee of 13000 satoshi's. The new transaction, using the unconfirmed output of the pending transaction has a size of ~200 bytes (estimated) and a fee of 70000 satoshi's. A miner can only claim these 70000 satoshi's if he also puts the first transaction into his block, hence the name CPFP (child pays for parent). Not all miners do these calculations tough, so it's still a longshot.
The combination of both transactions have a size of ~460 bytes a fee of 83000 satoshi's... That's 180 satoshi's per byte, and should be sufficient to entice a miner to add both tx'es to the block they're working on...

Code:
01000000010478e2590fe0c78989e3263f5fba00bef14af0df2c011f14ee51bdbb50f39dc30100000000ffffffff01e0894703000000001976a91455096f32bb24f3d8dd339984b32a824f4c31942088ac00000000

To read the next steps you can visit : http://www.mocacinno.com/createraw.php?inputs=c39df350bbbd51ee141f012cdff04af1be00ba5f3f26e38989c7e00f59e27804%2C1&outputs=18kdjpPEo84QFE2gdLMLacME3cTGMWqMY1%2C0.5502&submit=submit

Basically, you have to decode the raw transaction i created and see if you agree with what i did. If you agree, you'll need to sign it and broadcast it to the network. I cannot do this part for you, since i would need access to your wallet/private key in order to do this, and it would be an extremely bad idear to give away your private key(s).

The process of signing a raw transaction also depends on which wallet you're using... So if you can't figure it out, it might be usefull to know which wallet you're working with... (caveat, some wallets just won't work, so fingers crossed you used a "good" one)
4182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (bitbargain) taking 3 days still nothing on: February 23, 2017, 01:31:12 PM
Thanks mate but totally lost not sure where to start with what you send what do I have to do or is it in the process of going threw know

Read the viabtc section of http://www.mocacinno.com/feecheck.php?txid=c39df350bbbd51ee141f012cdff04af1be00ba5f3f26e38989c7e00f59e27804 (Asking a pool to include your tx in the block they're working on).
You can also offer a bounty to Quickseller or macbook-air (link to their profiles are also on the page), or, since you're the receiver, you can also try a CPFP... There is a wizard on my page to help you with this (do ask the community to double-check the transaction before you sign it, the wizard is in bèta)...

Other than that, it's basically waiting and hoping you're lucky, or contacting your seller and asking them to help you (altough i doubt they'll be willing to do that, as for the moment, there is a huge backlog, so they'll probably be buried in help requests).

This is what I clicked on to check and it said unconfirmed know this morning it said unknown I am pritty new to bitcoin but before it was in my wallet 2 hours max without paying this paying option is pritty new to bitbargain
Is there anyway that my coins is lost

you're in luck Wink
The transaction was still in my mempool. Here is the raw, signed transaction with tx id c39df350bbbd51ee141f012cdff04af1be00ba5f3f26e38989c7e00f59e27804
Code:
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

now, you can use a couple of webinterfaces to re-broadcast the tx...

https://blockr.io/tx/push
http://www.mocacinno.com/index.php#txpusher
https://blockchain.info/pushtx
https://blockexplorer.com/tx/send#!
...

However, this does not fix the fundamental problem with your tx:
http://www.mocacinno.com/feecheck.php?txid=c39df350bbbd51ee141f012cdff04af1be00ba5f3f26e38989c7e00f59e27804

The fee is way to low, so the miners aren't enticed to add this tx to the block they're currently working on... More information can be found by following the link just above this line Wink

Now, as for losing your coins... As long as the sender doesn't re-use the input he used to create tx c39df350bbbd51ee141f012cdff04af1be00ba5f3f26e38989c7e00f59e27804, you won't lose the coins (altough you might have to re-broadcast the tx every couple of day(s)... If he does re-use the input, and the double spending transaction has a higher fee/byte, this transaction will be cancelled as soon as the double-spend transaction is confirmed. In this case, you can contact the seller's support dept and ask them to re-send your funds.
4184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (bitbargain) taking 3 days still nothing on: February 23, 2017, 12:58:14 PM
Hi folks bought some coins transferd them to my wallet  never paid an extra fee said it may take 12 to 24 hours but after 3 days it's still saying nothing

First it said unconfirmed transaction

Know this morning it's saying unknown transaction

Please can someone help are my coins ever going to get there thanks

After 3 days, the unconfirmed transaction was probably dropped from most nodes' mempool.
Do you still have the tx id and/or the addresses?
If you do, i can check if it's still in my mempool (i drop tx'es after 4 days, altough with the huge backlog, i cannot guarantee your tx will still be in my mempool). If it is in my mempool, you (or i) can re-broadcast the tx, or you can contact the bitbargain support dept... Maybe they can re-use the unconfirmed inputs to create a new tx with a decent fee.
4185  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What we can do to confirm transactions faster? on: February 23, 2017, 10:41:01 AM
So, wait and pray when developers implement segwit and lightning network is the best? Cheesy
I quess i need to start learning more about bitcoin code and try to write better code implementations myself...

That's a discussion i don't want to start, but yes, segwit, LN, BU are all options/directions. Each option will have pro's and con's.
For now, you can either pay more fees, wait longer to get your tx into a block, or switch to a stable altcoin...
4186  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What we can do to confirm transactions faster? on: February 23, 2017, 10:31:48 AM
100k unconfirmed transactions and developers still not implemented segwit and lightning network.
Well if developers not implementing things we need for Bitcoin what can we do to confirm transations faster?

Should we run full node?
Full node helps other users to download blockchain and verify transactions but i never heard that it helps to confirm transactions faster

No, running full nodes wouldn't solve the amount of unconfirmed tx's in the mempool

Should we run miner?

I am interested to run full node and miner but seems that more miners and full nodes won't help we need segwit and lightning network to be implemented faster and more nodes and miners won't help to confirm transactions faster?

No, running a miner will increase the total network's hashrate, slightly reducing the average time between blocks untill the next retargetting (2016 blocks). So in other words, adding a miner to the network will help for a very limited time, after a couple days (maximum 2016 blocks) the diff will rise and the time between blocks will once again be ~10min on average.
4187  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: miracle in my transaction , first time :) on: February 23, 2017, 08:37:20 AM

If you want to see the full calculations as to why your transaction had insufficient fees, and a list of possible sollutions, i've created a tool to help you:

http://www.mocacinno.com/feecheck.php?txid=4126ada7e11d40ea8ba77743571d2ae5562ab41033cce7e253b7e255405a96ea

I've added a CPFP generator, altough it's still in bèta... I'm working on a tool to doublespend the unconfirmed inputs using a higher fee as we speak (will probably be released tomorrow, if i have some extra spare time)

https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ recommends 180 satoshi's/byte at the time of writing...

I restarted my node, so your transaction was dropped from my mempool, however, at the bottom of the page, your options are listed:

4189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: unconfirmed transaction on bitbargain on: February 22, 2017, 01:44:11 PM
Ok I know I shouldnt be posting this and doing some reading but Ive little choice, Im going offshore later tonight and dont have the time unfortunately and Ive only just stumbled on this site.

I bought some bitcoins on bitbargain on monday night at 20/02/17   2221    0.27 bitcoins, the transaction went well and I transfered them in to the site wallet I wanted to put them in, Ive done this many times without issue in the past, the problem is they never arrived. Ive checked blockchhain and the transaction is unconfirmed. I didnt pay for a transaction fee, I would have but its the first time Ive came accorrs this so in future will.

My question is what will happen to the coins? Will they go to the site I tried to send them too or will they go back to bitbargain, my only worry is when Im offshore I wont be able to logon to either site to do anything.

I have all the addresses and transaction numbers, I dont know if I should put them up here.

Sure, address and tx id's are usefull... Never post your private keys or passwords to services, but a tx id and address can't be used to steal from you...

BTW: at the moment, to many transactions are broadcasted, causing a huge backlog. There isn't enough space in the blocks to include all broadcasted transactions, so at the moment, it's the transactions with the highest fee/byte of transaction data that get included in a block. I'm going out on a limb here, but i guess chances are pretty big that you didn't add 140 satoshi's/byte tx fee...
4190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: wtf unconfirmed transactions!!! on: February 22, 2017, 01:20:39 PM
I dont give f'''$$ k about mining blocks or any techinical Bs. I payed real money. Money does not come from the air. Its their problem to solve that.
at least there should be option to take back transfer.
you shut up with your story...i dont have time to listen this nice storiez. I trusted blockchain as tgey are big company.  Someone nedd to give answers i put alot money into this my fcking money is stuckked. They are thiefes.

This community is not associated with blockchain.info. Some members (including me) sometimes try to help out and give advice for free, but i'm afraid your previous answer landed you a spot on my ignore list.
Try to be civil, and maybe (just maybe) somebody else might give you some help other than "wait and hope for the best"
4191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: wtf unconfirmed transactions!!! on: February 22, 2017, 01:10:43 PM
Wtf...i pay high fee .and bitcoins supposto be instant tansfers. Why should i pay fee for them if they dont do the job. and i cant take back transaction also and i cant talk with any support becouse blockchain dont have support person???
Blockchain are u kidding Huh people do business money must move fast so what i say to my busineas partners now?? Thats insane...somebody need to  do something. The exucuse that no enough enough miners.thats bs.. business is straight forward thing u cant joke about with money.
in my opinion blovkchain is become scam. So sad people want anounyimity to use btc service but now u cant even trust btc service provider Sad  i think someone should do it some service when you transfer your money instant no name no bs.. just make the money to move.
wtf...mining.??  I put real money into my bitcoin wallet i payed real money. But nobody there to give god damn answrs!!! Huh

It has nothing to do with "not enough miners". The only thing that (probably) happened, is that blockchain.info (at least, i think you're talking about this online wallet) didn't propose a sufficiently high fee.

I'll skip the technical, confusing, explanation and just go to the conclusion:
  • 1 block is mined about every ~10 minutes
  • Each block has a maximum size of 1 Mb
  • This means that a maximum of ~3000 transactions can be included in a block every 10 minutes (theoretically, there could be more transactions into a block, but usually it's even less.... ~2000)
  • If more than those 3000 transactions are broadcasted in a 10 minute window, some transactions will not get into the next block
  • The miner can pick which transactions he/she'll add to the block he/she is currently working on
  • Since mining is a business, not a charity, the miner will add the transactions with the highest fee/byte of transaction data
  • IF you use an (online) wallet that doesn't estimate the size correctly, or doesn't estimate the appropriate fee adequately, you can rest assured that your transaction will have to wait untill the other transactions that had a higher fee/byte of data were included into a block/dropped/...

I agree that it's not a funny thing to hear. I agree that it's real money we're talking about. I agree that some companies are not professional enough (not naming names here)... The fact remains that at this moment, i'm afraid that everything works as designed.

Can you share your tx id? that way we can verify if you have the same problem as dozens of others?

The other transactions don't seem to be in my mempool, but the problem is the same

EDIT: it seems like the first one is now also dropped from my mempool... I guess i'll have to edit my bitcoin.conf in order to keep more unconfirmed transactions  Undecided

Interesting. Thanks. However I cant add to https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ as it seems to be full atm.

Doubble sending would be an option, but for this I am not sure how to 'send from a different node' ? What exactly does that mean? I cant send anything from my Electrum since the coins are stuck in limbo.

Basically, if you run the core wallet, you cannot broadcast the double spending transaction from your own wallet. I don't think this will be an issue with electrum tough.

I'll try to add a double spending tutorial to my website pretty soon. You can potentially re-try viabtc every couple of hours. When they have mined a block, they'll probably allow new transaction requests for the new block they're working on. So you should have a chance of getting your tx in the viabtc queue every couple of hours.
4194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Tx stuck unfonfirmed for over 48h on: February 22, 2017, 10:21:38 AM
Hi,

I am new to this forum but thought I'd give it a go. I need some help trying to solve a problem I am having with a transaction.

So, about 2 days ago I made a transaction which has now been stuck as 'unconfirmed' in my Electrum-wallet since. Sometimes when I restart Electrum will say that it has 'unconfirmed parent' (even though the previous (incoming) transaction has >200 confirmations) and sometimes it will be gone as if the coins are back in my wallet. In the latter scenario I am unable to use the coins and Electrum throws a 'mem-pool conflict' error.

Futhermore, when checking the transaction online here https://www.chain.so/tx/BTC/400a765cf76cddbefe1edde0c9d510f930d5727fadf7539bc7ac94b586a0668c it tells me it has 0% 'confidence' the tx will be confirmed.

I sent it with:

Sent Value   0.05058394
Fee   0.00009600

which was automatically set by Electrum.

Can I somehow cancle the tx and create a new one? I would rather not have to wait weeks for this to complete.

I tried the 'fee-booster' mentioned here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1506632.0 , but that did not seem to do anything for me. When I tried importing the tx into my Electrum it said 'unrelated to this wallet' and I could not sign it. Attempting to sign it with console gave me the same hex as input.

Thanks for any help!

Here's the output from the tool i wrote:

http://www.mocacinno.com/feecheck.php?txid=400a765cf76cddbefe1edde0c9d510f930d5727fadf7539bc7ac94b586a0668c

4195  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Unconfirmed parent , but previous transaction already confirmed on: February 22, 2017, 09:55:52 AM
Already did it like 5 minutes ago thanks to your answer Cheesy It said that the transaction was sucessfully added so i'll check in the next couple hours if there is any updates Smiley Thats strange cuz i just noticed that when i made this transaction my setting in Electrum was on Dynamic fee so electrum should have calculated the right fee at the time i sended it but looks like it didn't :/

I've set it to manual fee now so i can choose everytime if i want a fast confirmation or not.. and i activated the RBF for the next times am i correct ? Smiley

Personally, i think that's the wisest thing to do... I don't understand why some community members pushed RBF to be opt-in rather than opt-out, but since it's opt-in, i personally think it's a good idear to always enable RBF... It will solve future problems if you ever add insufficient fees again Wink (no offence tough, i added to little fees to transactions myself in the past, so it can happen to me to).

About the manual fee: i think it's wise to let electrum propose a fee, and then manually adjust it up or down (depending on the amount of inputs/outputs and the current recommanded fee, but also depending on the fact if i'm sending BTC between two of my own wallets, or if i'm sending BTC to a thirth party... In the first case, i don't mind waiting, so i add a lower fee. In the second case, time is usually of the essence, so i add a bit higher fee)

I think the one i already tried is the last one aka "Double spending" but i didn't worked Sad

The "Replace by Fee" could have been perfect for me but it wasn't included in the version of Electrum i was using and the original transaction has to be created with the option in order to work so can't use this one.

And if macbook-air or Quikseller stop by here, i would be more than happy to pay them if they can add the block to their pool Smiley

Otherwise i guess i can only wait and hope i never make this mistake again -_-

Thanks for your quick and perfect answer anyway Smiley

No problem...
BTW: with a 60 sat/byte fee, you can use the viabtc-link on my webpage Wink
If they didn't receive to many requests, you could get your tx into the next block they're working on (usually ~2-3 hours)

So it's indeed what i was afraid of.. So is there any way to speed up the process and get this transaction deleted from others mempool so i can spend thoses coins Sad ?

The options are also listed at the bottom of the page on my website... I didn't add tutorials/howto's to the options (yet) tough... But most of these options can be google'd, or you're always free to pick a sollution and ask some questions in this thread or in PM Wink

Hi there,

After 1 year of using bitcoins with no problems at all, i now struggle since 2 days with a Unconfirmed transaction , i've read a lot about it and even if i think understand the way it works i'am kind of lost at the moment :/

I'am using electrum. The first transaction was confirmed only 30 mins after i send a transfer from Kraken to my wallet so everything went fine as always , but when i tried to spend thoses coins it hangs there with no confirmations for 2 days now :/

Was the fee too low ? I tried this method but i can't get it to work Sad

Your Transaction size (in bytes) => 191 bytes

Your Transaction fee (in BTC) => 0.0001152 BTC

Your Transaction fee (in satoshi's) => 11520 sat

Your Transaction fee (in satoshi's/byte) => 60 sat/byte

Your current priority => 0 (low priority)

it seems like your fee of 60 sat/byte isn't high enough to get into the next 24 blocks with a 95% certainty at the time of writing

Hello,

as a beginner in the world of bitcoins, I was wondering if there is an easy way to run a independent wallet. My Google searches didn't bring any sufficient answer for me so far.
At the moment I have a wallet on Electrum. But I don't want to rely on external services. I could install a full node blockchain on my desktop. But then for every transaction I would have to go to my PC.
But i want to use my phone, too.
So is there an easy way to have access to my wall via phone?

Thank you very much for your answers!

Im not 100% sure, but i think this one is completely decentral p2p:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet

Iirc, they also have a thread in the alternative wallet subforum.
