4181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks disappear because of cryptocurrency? on: August 28, 2018, 11:21:45 PM
No, cryptos cannot make banks disappear. Although cryptocurrencies are gaining popularity across the globe, it is not acceptable globally. There are places that bans the use and transactions of these coins. And not all people have access to computers and the internet, meaning they don't know these coins exists. Fiat or paper money is what is being used worldwide, so banks are here to stay.
i won't say it can't , to make banks completely disappear we should have a better system than what banks offered before , and it takes a very long long time to convince people/public widely . it's like a mission impossible as people have subordination on the banks already.

even digital era has been started , it's difficult to replace bank role .
4182  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BULLISH? ON CME BITCOIN EXPIRATION on: August 28, 2018, 11:07:21 PM
if price breaks above $7k then I would consider it a "significant price movement", otherwise it is still nothing and ignorable. but if we do break it, it becomes more possible to continue this trend at least to $8k prior to ETF rejection and then come back down as silly day traders continue making the market more volatile and that would just postpone $10k target another month.
so do i , think that the resistance are on $7-$8k level . break it out and brace yourself for a shocking bounce soon. last time CME future trading bring a huge effect in crypto market , push the price more than 80% and the rest of it make bitcoin bubble.

now some people try to connect things to relevant factor such as this cme , i won't expect much, just keep watching.
4183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 27, 2018, 04:19:19 PM
Have a feeling Man Utd will sneak a victory against Spurs tonight, no doubt they’ll play awful football & win by 1 goal.

Man U 2-1 Spurs is my prediction (don’t bet on that, I’m not).

I never know what to expect from Man Utd now. You expect them to be terrible but last season they beat both Man City & Liverpool. It wouldn’t surprise me if they won 3-0 today.
last time tottenham played at old trafford they lost 2-1 , yeah i would expect a boring game with 1 goal difference only . 1-0 or 2-1 , once united could score a goal mourinho will set park the bus strategy on! he want to play safe and boring , no passion to play football anymore. if there's a ball possession betting i would go bet for tottenham to take the possessions more than 50% !!
4184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down Altcoin down on: August 27, 2018, 03:57:00 PM
It is very clear that the price of altcoin is strongly influenced by the price of bitcoin, because almost all altcoins use exchange rates from bitcoin, so it is only natural that bitcoin falls, all altcoins will also fall, and vice versa if bitcoin rises, the altcoin will also rise
it's not that simple , sometimes the most influenced aren't on bitcoin pair but on fiat pair like USD or EUR . i can see several alt coins moving up while bitcoin dropped brutally. waves for example , not always but it's happened quiet often.

just watch it closely , you'll find out how things in crypto are so complicated .
4185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 20k again on: August 27, 2018, 03:46:37 PM
No one surely predicts about the bitcoin price. we just share our opinion, but If the SEC accept bitcoin we may easily get 20k per bitcoin that I believe. we are waiting for the news, I think SEC would allow bitcoin. take a look here: https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-markets-see-solid-upswing-as-sec-promises-to-review-recently-rejected-bitcoin-etfs I think its a good point for us and for the crypto industries.
everybody blame SEC on how bitcoin price fall more than half since they officially announced to reject bitcoin ETF. well it's reasonable . also because of this delusion to always expecting bitcoin price to bounce back very soon…. makes a lot of people get trapped in the current market situation , just woke up guys! the All time high won't come just like that. don't think bitcoin are the easiest way to double your money , it's a wrong conception. bitcoin are a tool to reach what fiat and other currencies can't reached.
4186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Power Of Hold ! on: August 15, 2018, 03:25:09 PM
I think its not an intelligent way to invest because if a coin is undervalue already it mean's that the project is not that good that is why the price is falling maybe its because of the team or there is something happen on that project.

The chances of that coin to get back on its track or to succeed is getting lower day by day, in my opinion it will be a lot better if you put your money on a trusted coin that already establish the trust of the crypto community.
the power of holding! yeah you've bought 100,000 positron coin for 0.0006 USD each and now worth nothing but dust. never holding something that has no potential but just looking for an undervalued coins , bad idea at all.

unless if you do know the risk and aware it's just another way to gamble rather than make a real research to be called as investment.
4187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: August 15, 2018, 02:59:42 PM
Real Madrid vs A Madrid -

Expectation - Real to win
Hope - Atletico win & somebody injures Ramos, the dirty bastard took Salah out in the CL Final & ruined our (LFC fans) dreams along with Karius the retard.
nothing more hurting than that accident , i feel that for you and i can say at the second place about hurting fans… it is courtois who decide to kiss real madrid logo at the first day he signed while he was atletico madrid player for quite long time and atletico lift him to become a star but there's no act from courtois to respect about those moments. what a shame.

i expect and hope courtois get conceded more than what we can imagine , 3 or 4. realistically you guys might choose an under goals bet as this kind match usually ended up with only single goal or even draw. under 2.5 goals and or draw/win for atletico madrid.
4188  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io - Now accepting Ethereum!⚽ 🏆 Top Booster Price Boost Promo 🎉 on: August 13, 2018, 10:18:47 PM
I have lost 100MBTC+ because of extremely bad customer support and people working at sportsbet.

Last night, barcelona was playing and I wanted to bet on barcelona to win when it was 1-1. You would get around 1.99x with bet boost. However I was unable to place the bet, it just kept on loading when I clicked on place bet 100mbtc. I went to the live chat and told the customer support agent "arda". He checked it and said there was nothing wrong, that it worked on their side and that I should clear cookies, try ign mode or another device. I already had tried all of this and it still did not work, I even sent him screenshots and he still was not able to help me out this was 10 minutes passed while I was trying to place the bet, the odds were getting higher and I still tried to place a bet and I couldnt be helped.

After 10 minutes passed, I told him that perhaps my account is temp blocked from placing bets because I made big withdrawals in the past couple of days. I told him that it happend to me before and that he should check and remove it, he checked and he said I was not blocked, that it was my fault on my end somehow. I even told him that I try to place live blackjack bets and it still did not work so it must be because of them and he kept on saying its my fault. 20 minutes passed and he still couldnt find out about anything. Few minutes after barcelona scores, he finds out that the security team indeed blocked my account from placing bets and that it was removed now, obviously this is extremely unproffesional and I lost 0.1btc because of this, i never shouldve been blocked in the first place, even if they want to block me because of a withdrawal, they should unblock my access right after they aprove my withdrawal. I litterly lost money because of bad customer support.  I even got angry because of this because they did not want to give me my profits which I showed screenshots of me clearing trying to place the bets the way it should be done, i have got a account here for almost 2 years, im pretty sure that i understand how I placed a bet and now im lost out because of extremely poor service and they did not want to give me anything when it was litterly all their fault. My name is abreezy on there and all the chats with arda are still there, i did not get one penny for their error while i shouldve got 0.1btc in my opinion as it was clearly the casinos fault and I have got screenshots of everything if needed. I got furious because of this and went blackjack and even lost 0.492 btc, but who cares I want my 0.1 because I have clear edvidence that I was trying to place the bet and that the live chat guy couldnt help me and all that while he couldve have easily.

Please help me out as Im extremely unhappy with how I have been dealt with.

It sounds like you wished to place a bet, but there was technical difficulties with the site at that current instance that prevented you to do so..   it happens
Turns out the bet you wanted to bet wins, so you think Sportsbet owes you money for a bet you didnt even make?
What if your hypothetical bet would have lost, would you have owed Sportbet money then?
Hopefully all those big withdrawals you made from Sportsbet over the past couple of days makes up for this small "loss"

No. There were no technical difficulties on the website, my account had a temporary lock from placing any bets because I made a big withdrawal 1-2 days before this, with big I mean max 0.15 btc. Customer support shouldve deleted the block right after they approved my withdrawal, but they did not and this resulted in me not being able to place my bet on time also the fact that I told the live chat exactly this and they still did not fix it within the 30 minutes that I was on live chat is just extremely poor service, because I told them im pretty sure I am blocked because of my withdrawal and they still said no your not, your having technical issues.. and then in the end after barca won the game, they message me and apologize and say I was right.. yeah but apologizing wont get me anywhere, I lost 0.1 btc while I should have been unblocked in the first place. Because someone else did not do he's job correctly, I lost money. I shouldve got atleast something for this because the live chat and pictures are available.
shit happened sometimes , i feel bad for you losing an opportunity to make money during the lock period. honestly i have done cashout the winning more than 200mbtc up to 1000mbtc many times and never experience such things called 'temporary lock' , is that even real ?

however even if you could provide the chat transcript about this technical difficulties matter , as Flagship11 said above sportsbet.io don't owe you for that potential winning but a horrible service or maybe just unlucky moment for you.
4189  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: August 13, 2018, 09:45:03 PM
I think that such strategy may save your whole portfolio...currently I'm very upset because I decided to hold my alts in may/june. I could sell them all by beneficial price, now the losses are terrible.
actually you should do this kind strategy conditionally , how? the bankroll management are the key , put your investment in two sides . the one side that about holding alt coins and the other side about holding bitcoin , all of these invested and traded conditionally , everybody love to mix things up. with two sides bankroll you'll get almost guaranteed profit , you only need a perfect timing to balance it out between selling bitcoin to buy alt coins to gain more bitcoin later and vice versa.
4190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Won't it be possible to be paid for bounty in cash instead of token on: August 13, 2018, 09:04:50 PM
Sometimes i use to ask why is it not possible to be paid bounty money in cash why is it alway's that is only paid in token anybody that can explain more please?

Because when paying with tokens they are basically paying out bounties with free money. Paying with cash will also add bigger fees to transfer the payments.
more importantly…. to encourage people to know more about the project. when you get paid with tokens you'll automatically dig some more  informations about how the project going , when exactly the exchange listing ( this is the most popular ) etc. i just can see when people get paid in cash , they will just come and go .
4191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 12, 2018, 01:43:35 PM
I have to say that this has been one of my best ever first weeks betting on the EPL as I have had 3 winners all over 2.5 goals on the Man Utd match, Tottenham and Chelsea matches and I'm still alive in my 5 leg parlay bet with Liverpool/West Ham and Arsenal/Man City matches to come both of which I have over 2.5 goals so I'm hoping the goal feast continues tomorrow. Its been an entertaining first week with goals scored in each of the games which is what I like to see.

Well, you've inspired me. I lost heavily yesterday backing the teams ignored by bookies but Liverpool playing today gives me great enthusiasm heh heh. You can count on the Reds to give you over 2.5 goals. I know pre-season is a shit benchmark but they've all looked sharp. Even the backup forwards have been gunning down on goal.

My ambitious parlay today has all the favourites winning @4.25: https://www.bitcoinrush.io/sportsbook/ShareBet?id=RyoYBt5hn28r4ZqUWATYpeJBUsOU3HQcqfVZFerMTc8%3D

But I secretly want new Arsenal to take down old City, so a hedging bet @4.28: https://www.bitcoinrush.io/sportsbook/ShareBet?id=6KWbjkvxhuaiQ2R6Fy3vCOSZyP096f3Sj50l8C6UqL4%3D
such a low odds for arsenal to win against city there  Roll Eyes  Tongue , i see sportsbet.io offers more than @4.28 if i am not mistaken it's @4.4 plus you can use a booster , usually you'll get boosted for around 5% to 10%.

i personally think this time manchester city won't take down arsenal easily yeah a first game for any team will never be easy. to make things more interested i'll put my money on arsenal to win both halves @12  Grin , wish me luck . meanwhile liverpool leading 3-0 now over west ham at 54' , 1 for salah and 2 for mane , hmmmm thoughts ?
4192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you research altcoins? on: August 12, 2018, 01:19:13 PM
I check out their social media power, team members. And mostly, their white papers. If what I see there is not satisfactory and feasible, other ones are utterly rubbish.
exactly , but sometimes there's a bigger power called a pump mostly it's happened temporarily…. some people with huge amount of money pump it up to attract newcomers get in the trap , once the volume blow up the one who pump it at the first place leaving by dump it all at once , those people who get lured and get trapped there suffering huge loss and in the other hand collecting crazy profits , nowadays it's more likely a money game. those alt coins that has no clear visions , fake unprofessional/unknown developers come to crypto business for the sake of making money and nothing else but gone for exit scam.

a lot of things need to be sorted out but most importantly , look for the one who has a well known developer with its great track record on making crypto currency/financial technology development in the past .
4193  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io - Now accepting Ethereum!⚽ 🏆 Top Booster Price Boost Promo 🎉 on: August 11, 2018, 11:12:05 PM
Im on an iphone 7 and have never had problems accessing site unless maintenance.
Both on wifi and LTE

Actually the site is lite enough on mobile browser, but indeed sometime it gets a bit laggy especially once we move from one menu to other menu.  The lag is still acceptable IMO as it takes few seconds only, but if using PC is still recommended than using mobile browser. Maybe it can be considered as suggestion so they will improve the mobile version.
one thing that i can feel….. sportsbet.io aren't as fast as when the interface site design not upgraded yet. now things looks laggy , unresponsive and a lot of times makes me misplaced the bet, I've contacted the support regarding this concern , they said it will fixed as soon as possible , well now i think it's getting better , don't you feel the same thing?
4194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 11, 2018, 10:38:49 PM
Wow, I had no idea about the crypto sponsorship. Here's the full story for anyone else interested: https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/club/20180704-wolves-unveil-coindeal-as-shirt-sleeve-sponsor/

With Wolves' equaliser and Jagielka's red card, 2-1 to Wolves seems like a good chance.

Yeah the Wolves are sponsored by CoinDeal. You can see the name stamped on the outer side of the jersey sleeves. By the way I noticed that Everton are apparently sponsored by Angry Birds as that was what they were wearing on their jersey sleeves. Made me chuckle  Grin
Fortunately my 2 bets on the game went through yay Cheesy I thought Wolves were going to win though being a player up. We got the first draw in the league, albeit an eventful one.
not sure this kind promotional way could really effective , we know that arsenal are the first major football club to sign to promote a crypto currency business with cash bet coin. but yeah still it looks nice to see crypto things promoted widely through football which well known as the most popular sports in the world which means a lot of people around the world pay attention on it. anyway the wolves and everton share the points in thriller as the game ended 2-2. sigh..… bad day for me big parlay lost , everton can't get 3 points and chelsea scored too much.
4195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: August 11, 2018, 10:10:57 PM
Yesterday I watched a video about addiction on youtube: https://youtu.be/ao8L-0nSYzg. It was a real surprise to me that according to recent research people are addicted to drugs mainly because they can't bond well with people and are not able to live a satisfying life. The research shows that when an addicted person appears in a loving and caring environment, the addiction kind of disappears (even heroin addiction). I wonder what are your thoughts on this matter and whether you think you could say the same about gambling addiction.

I believed for drugs that might be one of  the reasons why they got addicted. As for gambling addicts, might be a deeper reasons though. I admit that I got addicted because of the environment. When you see your father and other family members into gambling at a young age, you can inherit, that lifestyle and that's what happened to me. But being lonely? Nah, I don't think that gambling will be their first options though, but drugs. That's why I wanted to break that line, that connection, so I keep my gambling addiction to my kids because I don't want them to end the path I took.
pretty interesting when your family / people around you get used to gamble  , you don't even need other reasons to do it as it has become something like a culture . addiction itself come from the attractive game no matter how responsible you are , the game that offers you huge rewards without huge efforts at least always makes 8 out of 10 gamblers trapped on an addiction.

hard to deny the desire to gamble once you have tried it , loneliness or dissatisfaction not always become the reason behind gambling addiction.
4196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of cryptocurrency this 2018 on: August 08, 2018, 01:39:20 PM
Hi everyone, I have read a lot of information and comments about the ETH.. A lot of people are trusting and confident that ETH has a lot of potential in terms of growth. But I also see a lot of comments that it's a myth and that those people who are confident are like that because they are hoping for ETH to bubble up like btc did once before. So I would like to know what do you think will happen to BTC, ETH and the whole crypto market this 2018. Is it possible to have a bullish market again?
Cryptocurrencies are still in emerging phase and there is lots of left to happen for digital currencies in 2018. There will be many up and downs in prices due to volatile nature of cryptocurrencies. You may see straight hike or dip in price of many cryptocurrencies in coming days.
i wouldn't surprised , bitcoin price remain volatile for various reasons. there might a massive adoption happened East but on the other side Western mostly pull their interest in bitcoin and even in cryptocurrency business. not surprisingly Asian markets become more passionate lately especially korea where a lot of crypto startups has been built well and successful, 2018 more likely to a huge asian market grow. yet it's helpless when it comes to against western funds waves and here we are in big disappointment to get more and more dropped value.
4197  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pornhub Casino now accepting bitcoin and many other cryptocurrency! ph.casino on: August 08, 2018, 01:20:45 PM
Do they have Poker (Texas Holdem)?
Did you ever read our messages saying that this is a scam casino?

Also updating: I am totally unable to withdraw my own money as they decided that I need to bet at least 1000$ in order to use the withdraw option (in other words, you must lose 15x more than your deposit or you will not be able to make any withdraw at all).. once again, SCAM SITE

what does this mean ? this means the site completely has no intention to run a legitimate business anymore , how could a casino ask for 15x wagering requirement while you are not even looking for deposit bonus. this is 100% a joke. i would suggest everybody to not bumping this thread , if could this thread supposed to be locked (i've reported it btw).

even though i can't deny the concept of porn and gambling sounds like interesting , we might have to discuss about this elsewhere.
4198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcasino.io's Extortion scam, customer treatment, campaign treatment on: August 08, 2018, 12:59:10 PM
He wasn't removed "in error."   Roll Eyes

The only "error" was me counting of his posts, which was corrected and he paid.

He was removed because he's an annoying, self-entitled little child that likes to spam and cry when he doesn't get what he wants.

And now, he's blacklisted from other campaigns and his account is all but worthless since he's been tagged a spamming cry baby.

i was once asked by a campaign manager to post more in order to qualify for the active week to get paid , i can't see anything wrong with this kind action as an exortion , WaffleMaster even should be grateful that jeremy gives a warning and get paid in the end .

bring a bitcasino.io brand and blame it just doesn't makes sense. it's wafflemaster fault all the way.

4200  Economy / Marketplace / Re: can bitcoin in the future surpass gold? on: August 04, 2018, 07:48:44 AM
Gold is an investment place that has a very high value and has a long period of time to keep everyone interested in gold. Everyone will know the value of gold, everyone will know and even predict gold will remain valuable in the next few decades.

Bitcoin, appeared in 2009 by someone named Satoshi Nakamoto. Until now many people have not believed in the future of bitcoin, despite the many bad news about bitcoin. Of course, this image will have a bad impact on bitcoin in the long run, I only use my thoughts now.

Therefore, to say bitcoin will surpass gold in the future that is the hardest way I have to say. But in terms of function, I will say now that bitcoin will surpass gold.
