4181  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal for changing pay per post signature campaigns to fixed payment ones on: March 17, 2016, 05:13:37 PM
IMO it's not about what type of campaign is run, but how the campagin is run by the manager.
I've been managing both, and I think both sort of campaigns can be successful, without either of them spreading spam around the forum, if managed correctly.

What you need is campaign managers paying attention to the quality of posts, which right not they have no incentive to.
Please don't generalise, your statement is wrong for several reasons.
First, there are managers who pay attention to their participants, some more close, some more vaguely, but saying they don't is a front against all of them.
Secondly, there are enough incentives for a manager to keep an eye on the users and their,
as those users represent the service they advertise and you wouldn't want to be advertised by some kind of users, believe me.

If someone is in a pay per post campaign then he will try to post the maximum number of posts counted in that payment period, hence creating spam.
You're asuming a certain kind of mentality for every user enrolled in a campaign, which they don't necessarily have.

But in a fixed payment campaign, the person only have to post minimum number of posts required for the payment, as more Posts will not pay him, so he will not spam.
Asuming X posts in a term of Y days can't be spam, just because the minimum number in a fixed campaign is lower than the maximum number in a ppp campaign.
The quality of someones posts isn't determined by how many they write in a certain time, but by the actual content of said posts.
I can show you users with ten + posts a day, who no one would consider spamming, and I can show you users with one or two posts a day, who clearly are sig spamming.

What are your opinions about this proposal.
Nope. Nope. Nope.

Go here -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=105237;sa=showPosts
Delete all posts, lock your open threads and move them to archival.
Change your email to a trash address and your password to a random one you don't know.
Leave forever and be happy.
4183  Other / Archival / Re: [WTS] Hero Member Account w/ Green Trust on: March 17, 2016, 03:17:57 PM
When I post or look at the profile when logged into that account it shows as dark green, and the first number is over 20.  All of the trust is from 6+ months ago.
Nobody cares about that, I can add a bunch of randoms to my down list and get my rating up to 300 aswell.
The key fact is, how the account looks from a neutral pov, with default trust settings (like the ones you use on this newbie account).
4184  Other / Archival / Re: [WTS] Hero Member Account w/ Green Trust on: March 17, 2016, 01:49:19 PM
But, one feedback is from a "trusted" member, who is on the default trust list.
So it only got 1 feedback that's actually from DT, making it a light green +10 in the best case, possibly lower if the feedback isn't aged yet.
OP indicates there are multiple green trust, you probably forgot to mention that those others are all untrusted and hence worth almost nothing.

Selling a Hero Member Account, with multiple green trust. Great post quality. Cool forum name and avatar.
4185  Other / Meta / Re: I can't post image on: March 17, 2016, 01:43:34 PM
I've tried using postimage.com and imgur.com
You have to provide direct image urls in order to embed the images.

Code:
[img]http://imgur.com/2ffzCwC[/img] <- that's wrong
[img]https://i.imgur.com/2ffzCwC.gif[/img] <- that's right

[img]http://postimg.org/image/t0nj5qgot/4d6ae977/[/img] <- wrong
[img]http://s6.postimg.org/59o5nmght/Lealana.jpg[/img] <- right

<- that's wrong

4186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: March 17, 2016, 12:58:02 PM
No, don't invest in a casino because it is a gambling, losing has a big chance on it rather than winning, I would discourage everybody to gamble.

Clearly.

Im just saying that gambling has a big chance of losing but still you have a chance of winning. It is still on OP and everyones decision and I'm just giving my opinion.
I'm just saying that you are a hypocrite. And I'm just giving my opinion.

Not able to chat at all, It says , * Please set security under account settings, before using chat. I did everything. Sad
You need to go to Your account -> Security, set-up email and password (better yet, also 2FA), and confirm the mail.
Also, make sure you are logged in (which you should be abled to see as the log in button in the upper right changes to log out).
4188  Other / Meta / Re: Signature maker on: March 17, 2016, 07:41:18 AM
I want to try to create a signature here in the forum but I don't honestly know how. I know it's composed of bbcodes but can you guys suggest where I can practice making sigs? An editor or something like that.
Go to any reply page, new thread page, blank PM page,...
Play around, test and practice.
Instead of clicking post, pust click preview, safe a draft and see the results instantly.
That's the most basic version.
4189  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest in gambling site (what you think) on: March 17, 2016, 07:31:12 AM
Crypto-games?
That's right.

Just haven't seen anything like that before.
It's not (fully) public.
That's one of the graphs we made from bankroll statistics over time.
Won't disclose the coin, the timeframe or the actual amounts (I've removed them),
but it's a good (single) example on how fluctuating bankroll investments can be.
4190  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest in gambling site (what you think) on: March 17, 2016, 06:55:40 AM
Curious... what site is that for?
I'll give you 3 guesses.
4191  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest in gambling site (what you think) on: March 17, 2016, 06:46:21 AM
You're asking an impossible question. Sites come with swings. Your profit could just as easily drop to negative. Or it could triple up in 5 minutes. Most sites will have many ups and downs.
Indeed.

4192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bit Coin address on: March 17, 2016, 06:36:08 AM
Trouble is, the transaction has completed so where would the money go?
Are you sure the transaction was sent? Can you provide the transaction ID for said transaction?
Most wallets check, if the address they are sending to is a "valid" one, and wouldn't let you send to a 69 char string.
Also, what was the address you tried to send the coins from?
4193  Economy / Reputation / Re: mexxer2 - DT - himself selling trust - with proof on: March 17, 2016, 02:37:29 AM
Why do you keep insisting that others should help you deal with Atomicat? You started that shit, you deal with the consequences. Are you now angling for a permaban with all these spammy threads?
He's on the best way to getting perma banned.

Dont worry someone is going to suffer badly very soon .. stay tuned Smiley
I am not talking about forum Wink just in case you think so .. let lutpin show his smartness, I promise to make him beg in front of us all in 1 month
4194  Economy / Reputation / Re: mexxer2 - DT - himself selling trust - with proof on: March 17, 2016, 02:31:21 AM
And was not owned by the current owner either. AFAIK mexxer-2 itself was sold at some point after that. So Next TrollGates you're way off again.
Maybe try buying his doxx and sending a few muscles over to his house. That's more your style, isn't it?

Please do not trade with him. I still didn't receive BTC and further reply from him.
You haven't even contacted me, what are you talking about?
Given the open scam accusation of Sasukeevil against 1000000,
I would asume that the user tried to warn you about trading with 1000000, rather than the other way around.

You were scammed out of BTC 10,000 ?
Twice.
