4181  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ATTN: Mikeywith MINER wont connect on: September 02, 2021, 10:46:34 PM
So your problem is your miner can't connect to the router?

If you already factory reset the miner and it still can't show the IP in your router try to flash the unit through an SD card.

You can follow the guide from this link
- s17 pro control board program recovery

And then use the SD card firmware from this link "S17 pro SD card firmware"

After that use the software provided by Bitmain to find the IP of your miner.
Download it here APMinerTool
That would help to scan the IP of your miner.

The other question you had we will answer it later after you solve the first issue. Take note ASICboost firmware is power-efficient firmware.
4182  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Problem with my antminers T17+ on: August 31, 2021, 11:58:59 PM
1) Connected the miners to VIABTC pool and even though they are connected on the miner status page, they are still not providing any rewards to F2pool.

This one is your problem ViaBTC pool is different from F2pool you won't get any reward on F2pool by mining on ViaBTC pool you should see a reward in your own ViaBTC pool account.

Make an account on ViaBTC pool if you don't have yet and then log in after you login scroll down and follow the guide on how to set up the pool of your miner. Just follow them don't customize it to your custom name so that we can check if the default config is working.
4183  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to manually decrypt Electrum and Bitcoin Core wallets? on: August 31, 2021, 06:35:34 PM
Which one actually do you want to decrypt? The wallet or the Electrum software?

If you talking about Decrypting the Electrum software why not go to their open-source https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum
Then you can develop it with your own utility that you want to add.

Or are talking about the wallet file or wallet.dat with a password?

There is a way to brute-force it but without the portion of the password or seed phrase it will take years before you can recover your password or wallet.
4184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Go About Crypto Trading For Newbies. on: August 31, 2021, 05:04:53 PM
If you don't have an idea on how to trade there are many threads here with the same question you can just use the search button.
Newbies should know how to search here on the forum there are many threads related to this topic.

Anyway, almost all suggested above are the same but they don't give you enough information on how to start.
I'll give you a link that I think will help you learn much about trading and I'm sure you won't need to invest to train your trading skill.

Here's the link below for a complete list of guides and tools for crypto trading.

Then head to "Cryptocurrency trading" and both "fundamental and technical analysis" it would be a good start to learn about them.
After that, train your skill like other suggested above read the "Trading simulator" it should provide you enough tool under that link that you can use on the trading simulator and apply what you learn from trading.

Just don't forget the basic thing "Buy low and sell high" don't be greedy and always wait for the right time before you enter the market.
4185  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Problem with my antminers T17+ on: August 31, 2021, 03:16:46 PM
It seems ok I can't find any issue in your kernel logs.

How many miners do you have on the same network? Slow internet could be also the cause if it can't connect to f2pool to the internet.

Try another pool I would suggest switching to the ViaBTC pool and let see if it will connect without any problem.

If it doesn't work try to use a tool from Bitmain called APMinerTool then follow the guide from their documentation.
Here's the link: https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023257293-Recommended-Antminer-monitor-and-management-tools-APMinerTool-BTC-Tool-

It will also help to scan the entire network if there is a virus but it could also fix your IP issue.
Try to change the miner's DNS using that tool you can follow the DNS they use from documentation or you can try other DNS like GoogleDNS or Cloudflare DNS.
Your internet provider might be the cause of this issue they are blocking some pools like F2pool. So changing DNS could bypass this issue.
4186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance smart chain wallet with transaction fees options on: August 31, 2021, 02:03:07 PM
I couldn't find any wallet that provides you with fee options. Why not do setup the gas fee manually? You can do that with a Metamask wallet.

But if you still looking for other wallets that supports smart chains you can check their list here https://docs.binance.org/wallets/bsc-wallets.html
4187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trailing Take Profit bot/script/platform on: August 30, 2021, 11:55:02 PM
3commas is a well-known trading bot here on the forum and I think you can able to copy their trading strategy to set the same setup of your bot.

If you are looking for an alternative you can check this [BIG LIST] Crypto Trading Bots

If you are afraid because it's a closed source you can switch to other trading bots you can check the above list.
One of the well-known and free trading bots is Zenbot it's open source and you can find it here https://github.com/DeviaVir/zenbot
4188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Favorite trading indicators? on: August 30, 2021, 11:43:13 PM
Almost all indicators are same but the most common trading indicators used are EMA, MACD, and RSI it should be enough to analyze the price movement.

I have one indicator that I used on TradingView it gives me more idea before making a decision. It's Williams fractals it mostly uses for 1 or 5 minutes scalping.

If you want to learn about this it would be better if you watch this video on how to use it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juZlrecsIts
4189  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Problem with my antminers T17+ on: August 30, 2021, 11:20:50 PM
According to your kernel logs, the first hashboard chain
  • has 0 ASIC this might be the reason why the miner couldn't run properly.

Have you tried to flash it recently? If not yet try to flash it with the latest version and check it again.

About IP conflict where did you see it popup?

If your miner is set to DHCP rebooting it should replace a new IP unless if there are two devices connected on the network with the same mac address.

You can try to reboot all devices connected to the same network or if it's static IP then replace the IP.
4190  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it possible to know the date I changed my wallet.dat password? on: August 30, 2021, 03:31:26 PM
Also, if you can't find the hex 076b65796d65746121 from the db_dump, then the wallet is fake, does not have key metadata. Correct?

Why would you think it was fake? Are you sure that this is your backup or this is another wallet.dat file that was selling on the market or get them free from any download site?

It seems no one yet mention this tool? There is a way to brute-force the wallet.dat if you can't remember the exact password of your wallet.dat you can brute-force it using this tool "BTCrecovery tool"

I hope that you know some parts of the password because if not it might take years before you can find the exact password.

If you need help in finding the wallet password contact -bringbackmycrypto.com

Be careful on this site it's new and it's not safe to share the wallet.dat file to unknown or newbie users like this.

If you want a well-known and I think legit service to recovering wallet passwords I will suggest this https://walletrecoveryservices.com
4191  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Have paper backups of a 2015 and a 2016 Armory wallet. on: August 30, 2021, 01:25:27 PM
Is it still pathing?

It's running fine according to your logs you just let it run and wait for loading to let it sync with the bitcoin core.
What I notice is this
Code:
2021-08-29 20:27:01 (INFO) -- ArmoryQt.py:2185 - Number of wallets read in: 0

You can check your %appdata%\Armory if there are wallet files with .wallet extension.

Next time make sure to make a backup of your armory wallet file under %appdata%\Armory before you uninstall armory because there is some chance that the files under that folder could be deleted.

The question is do you have a paper backup? Since you mention it in your first post you should have this backup. You can just import it to your newly installed armory 0.96.5
4192  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Confused between mining and holding on: August 29, 2021, 11:56:32 PM
The only difference between holding and mining is that it has a machine to mine but they are both holding coins all mines will be directly sent to your own wallet.
It depends on you if you want to hold your coins or sell them or sell the portion of your mine coins every month to cover your Electricity bill.

The only risk on mining is actually if you bought a defective miner and 2nd hand miner with locked pool settings. Mining is easy to manage it shouldn't be risky but still, you will still need to have a bit of electrical and technical knowledge so that you can manage them well.

Holding would be also risky if you don't know how to protect your machine from any hack and virus. The same goes for mining you need to protect your miner and wallet from any possible attacks.
4193  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Own faucet how to earn some bucks? Any Captcha (solving) service paying? on: August 29, 2021, 10:59:06 PM
If it's a captcha service where you can able to do a task for solving captcha there are some that I know still operating.

Check these 3 captcha service

- CaptchaTypers
- 2captcha
- qlinkgroup

They have a Bitcoin withdrawal option.

Or maybe you are looking for a captcha adnetwork?
I can't seem to find them right now if this is what you looking for but I think you can add a banner with some known crypto ad network mention above just make a popup script with a v2 captcha including the banner of any advertising network that mention above.
4194  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: I can't with my Antminer S17+... HELP on: August 29, 2021, 09:56:20 PM
It would be better if you could post the whole kernel logs here so that we can see more insight into this issue.
If you couldn't post the whole kernel logs here due to limitations you can paste them here https://pastebin.com/ and paste the link here.

What is your actual outlet voltage?
If it's 220v try to replace PSU because this is a well-known issue on this unit.

And try to directly plug your miner into the outlet and don't use any power surge.
4195  Economy / Exchanges / Re: bilaxy.com hacked on: August 29, 2021, 09:45:25 PM
This is a shady exchange it seems there are some users being scammed by this exchange or they are manually locked withdrawals to selected users who withdraw large amounts.

Look at this "Bilaxy.com SCAM"

Even I have a few coins or tokens that are only listed on their exchange I won't still trade on their exchange because there are some users who experienced some issues on their exchange.
4196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which on chain parameters are a must to watch? on: August 27, 2021, 03:02:43 PM
which are the parameters you check the most and you retain the most important?
Mostly inflows and outflows as other mention above but this is a bit delay you will still need to check other indicators and some of them start from the news before we see big movement on in/outflows and other metrics.

Which on-chain analysis website do you retain to be better?

You can check https://glassnode.com/ you can use most of the metrics for free but if you want an advanced feature you will need to update to their paid plans.

Another tool is https://cryptoquant.com/ but they have only a few metrics compared to glassnode paid plans also get you some advantage and added metrics.
4197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What info can be gathered using my receiving address btc on: August 27, 2021, 01:08:22 PM
You are just too paranoid they don't have control of your private keys so you don't need to be a worry.

Quote
My question is what information can he gather based on the receiving address I gave him ?

Balance and transaction you being made and nothing else.

And take note that he can able to see all of your used addresses since you said that you always use a new receiving address if you are going to make a transaction and send all coins all used addresses will be shown on any explorer that is linked on that address.
4198  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Whatsminer firmware: cron for programmatically starting stopping mining process on: August 26, 2021, 11:56:12 PM
It seems there is no cron on Whatsminer I tried to search here even on Google I can't seem to find cron for Whatsminer except for Antminer.

So I guess your only option is to use a device that can automatically shut down and reboot the miner it might be a "programmable outlet timer" that looks like this below

But you will need an outlet timer that can support a high amp. Since Whatsminer m20s consumption is around 3360W you will need a 4100w outlet timer or around 20 amp.
4199  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can my wallet be deleted if I dont meet the terms of service? on: August 26, 2021, 11:15:54 PM
According to Exodus terms, you must be at in legal age to accept their terms and condition so you should be 18+ to be able to use their service.

If I were you better switch to another wallet because they have past issues that their coins are stolen from this wallet and since it's a close source we do not know if our keys are not saved on their own server.

If you are looking for a wallet with multiple coins supported it would be better to switch to a ledger nano or Trezor wallet which is much secured compared to the Exodus wallet.
4200  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: nano s on: August 26, 2021, 10:55:11 PM
It's very simple if you have already set up your Nano S either ledger live or Electrum.
If you did not set up it yet read this basic guide below

- Set up a new device (Ledger Nano S) with Ledger live
- Set up and use Electrum with Ledger nano

Take note you must save the seed or 12/18/24 words backup to a piece of paper or any safe place because you can use it to recover your wallet in the future.

Now after you set up them generate an address from Ledger live to make sure it was a BTC address or in Electrum and then copy the address go to your "bitcoin wallet" where the BTC that you want to transfer paste the address there and send the amount your want to send.

Or you might be talking about transferring them and use the backup seed from your Bitcoin wallet and import it to ledger nano?
If that's the case you won't be able to do that.
