4181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: September 12, 2021, 02:51:43 PM
Carlos Caraballo is a well-known knock-out artist this may signify a very hard fight for Jonas Sultan, and looking at the good KO/TKO record on Caraballo I am pretty amazed at how he does it, And yes Jonas Sultan might have won against John Riel Casimero but it was a pretty close fight, but Casimero right now is an improved boxer that is qualified in making challenges against Naoya Inoue, but this fight really interest me in who's going to win I am pretty skeptic if Jonas Sultan could withstand that punching power of Carlos Caraballo, I really think it is much dangerous to fight Caraballo head-on in my opinion, Sultan might need his critical thinking in taking Caraballo, but Still I would like to support our fellow Pinoy boxer, but may still research some bits on how Caraballo fight and what is his fighting stance.

Anthony Smith VS Ryan Spann
Anthony Smith what I think was the most experience here in his professional MMA career and is pretty sure still active his last fight was on April 24, 2021, against Jimmy Crute, and has the nickname "The Lionheart" because of his great stamina in his durability and never backing down the spirit, Right now he has 19 KO/TKO wins, 13 Submission wins, 2 by Decision and 1 unknown win against Ricky Duvall, While his opponent looks like hungry and dangerous, and most of his wins were with submission, and the 1 notable fight in the UFC that he lost was the Johnn Walker fight were he almost defeated Walker with an elbow but he came back up and then Walker came on a takedown to knock him off with elbow punches, I am very positive about Spann winning this he is still improving while Smith may have a hard time against Spann in my opinion, but will look on even further.

With over 50 matches played in his career, Anthony Smith is one of the most experienced MMA Fighters In UFC 261, he defeated Jimmie Crute with a brutal leg kick. Jimmie has hardly able to stand after that kick. Although Spann is way less experienced than Anthony, he has really powerful punches and has the spirit of an animal - never giving up Cool. He is also pretty good at submissions. I feel like Spann might win this match.

Pretty much that is what I have said but I agree even though Anthony Smith has had a lot of fights in the past I still think that Spann pretty much has the power with his takedown over Smith I really don't want to judge a book by its cover but that is how I am seeing the situation between these two,

but in my case, I am still researching and looking at some Ryan Spann fights and looking at his Tatoo Superman on his chest that really indicate fear, maybe not to his opponent but the people watching him fight.
4183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 12, 2021, 01:18:02 PM
A wager against Bayern is not a good decision, in my opinion, there is a pretty large chance they can win this match but still a slight percentage for Leipzig winning as well. and I really like Dortmund winning this but just like what I have said they can not underestimate Leverkusen they have attained a defeat from Leverkusen in the past so they surely need to be very careful, Dortmund is pretty much badly needing to win this to pretty much advance themselves in the standings. I am also doing with Dortmund 1 of my favorite teams in the league, right now Dortmund is 2.29 and 2.90 for Leverkusen, the odds on stake.com.
In the match Bayer Leverkusen - Borussia Dortmund, it is not easy to determine the winner, but I think there should be a lot of goals in the match, so a total over 2.5 looks very good bet  in this match. The Leipzig - Bayern match is very interesting for a bet, as I think Bayern will win, and the odds 2.25 on win Bayern are very good. I thought it would be no more than 1.8, I take into account that the match is played by Bayern away. But 2.25 is a very good odds, you can even bet with a handicap (0) on Bayern , which will be an even more reliable bet.

Like you have said it is really hard to determine the Leverkusen VS Dortmund match and I really do agree and because like I have said Dortmund should not underestimate Leverkusen and the result of the match was really so close, even though Dortmund had won the match it is still hard to simply predict that Dortmund is just lucky having a 3 - 4 score, but still I have supported Dortmund over Leverkusen, but just like you said I it pretty much close, Bayern VS Leipzig match was very one-sided, pretty much Bayern is not the old Bayern Munich anymore,  in seeing a dominating score from Bayern were I would think that their score will be just close my take I think was 3 - 2 but I never imagine a 3 point advantage for Bayern.

I say there is no need for an instructor when dealing with gambling games, but if you will be needing a mentor then you can surely do so because we surely have different kinds of intake when it comes to learning and we just need to respect them, well, my take in this you will definitely need to understand all the probability in winning in a dice, if how many dice both of you are using, and the number of combination dices will land on, still even with the numbers and probability of what number and combination a dice land on, you may still remember that this gambling game still varies in chances, and you will need to have a good decision in making a bet and always be a responsible gambler.

4186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 11, 2021, 12:50:23 PM

With a good game plan, anything is possible.
The fact that Casimero is a heavy puncher, if he hit Inoue with some clean shots, we might see the same scenario we saw on the Tete fight.

Well, you are right, and right now maybe Casimero's camp is preparing something to really counter the power shot's of Naoya Inoue, but yes John Riel Casimero is also a heavy puncher he can surely hurt Inoue, and unlike Donaire, I think there is more power in Casimero's punch, well just my assumption.

We don't have to be scared because Casimero himself understood the risk and he is confident that he has the power to beat and survive against Inoue. If Donaire were able to survive against Inoue, I have no doubt that Casimero can do better.

Or maybe Casimero has seen something from that previews fight, they are really analyzing Inoue a lot to make a deal to fight Naoya Inoue, and I think you are right they are really targeting the most venerable in the boxing industry and really focus their goals insight only on Naoya Inoue.
4187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 11, 2021, 12:18:10 PM

I too will go with the favourites that is Dortmund and Bayern to win their respective fixtures, however I wouldn’t be surprised if they were beaten too because that’s the beauty of this league all the teams are super competitive. Furthermore the title race can shape well if Bayern loses and other teams in the top 4 win their respective fixtures, but there’s a very slim chance of Bayern losing so is anyone wagering against Bayern tonight?.

Alex Pereira's ability to kickbox is fantastic, however when you add in the threat of take downs, I don't think he's going to be able to perform to his best ability. What's great about Israel is he knows how to avoid being taken down, at least so some extent. The fight against Jan was a little different, mainly the size difference. Alex on the other hand has proven to be a fantastic, and probably an elite level kickboxer, but as we've seen time, and time again you can't just switch careers into MMA, and expect to perform to the same standard. If Israel, and Alex fought in the UFC I'd expect Israel to mix it up, due to losing previously against him.

However, I don't expect Pereira to be a top five fighter, and I have my doubts about him reaching the top ten.

I am sure having doubts aswell for Pereira if he is able to be on the top five in a short span of time as well, and you are right we surely don't need to expect something big about him when he is just starting into UFC,

And the thing is why I am talking about Alex Pereira, is it because he is new to UFC, and I surely am curious about what he may do and what he may show us, and because of the Contender series of Dana White I am into the newbie's now and what they can show us moving forward into the future of UFC.

The problem is that Pereira as starpower has certain weight to it and I doubt he will be matched up with other newcomers to UFC. I think we will see the same situation as Saki, and that is unfortunate. However, I am still interested, let's se what he does.

He can certainly box and is a power puncher, and from the kickboxing perspective I think he is supreme when he defeated Dustin Jacoby in the Glory 14: Zagreb that was a left hook KO, he surely has that accuracy and power in his strikes, but I think if they would fight again this time in the UFC octagon, maybe Jacoby could have a slight chance because he has more experience with the MMA and even though he doesn't have a takedown or slightly have he is able to beat guys that is well rounded than him.

Leverkusen        vs   Dortmund
Union Berlin      vs  FC Augsburg
Freiburg           vs   FC Koln
Hoffenheim        vs   Mainz 05
Greuther Furth   vs   Wolfsburg
RB Leipzig          vs    Beyrn Munich

What are your favorite picks? The match between Freiburg and FC Koln is likely to be a draw. Both teams are in good shape now. Their performance in the last few matches was good. Hoffenheim and Mainz are the same quality team but I want to keep this Mainz team a bit ahead.

That matchday is very hard to predict in my opinion, the two matches where i have a pretty clear favorite are the matches of Union Berlin vs. Augsburg and Fürth vs. Wolfsburg. Union had a very strong start into this season again with draws against strong teams like Leverkusen and Hoffenheim and even a win against Gladbach and Augsburg had a bad start with only 1 point and 2 losses where they received 4 goals each time, so Union Berlin is the clear favorite here for me.
Wolfsburg should also have not to much problems to win against Greuther Furth. So far Wolfsburg playes really impressive under their new coach and they are leading the bundesliga table at the moment with 3 wins out of 3 matches.
All other matches are very hard to predict in my opinion.

It's true. It is very hard to predict. For example, we cannot call any of the teams between Dortmund and Leverkusen weak. The match between Union Berlin and Augsburg is expected to be won by Berlin. Augsburg is not a strong team. Feirburg, Koln, Hoffenheim and Mainz are almost the same quality team. Anything can happen on these matches. It cannot be said for sure which team will win. Still, since I’m keen to bet, I’ve put the Mainz team ahead. Wolfsburg is playing well in this season. Hopefully, they will continue the winning-streak. Although Bayern Munich is stronger than Leipzig, Leipzig cannot be considered weak. Moreover, Bayern Munich shared points with the Gladbach team in the first match.

Like I have said in my previous post, any team can beat the other and if that team is lucky enough in their score, then the opposing team can not do anything about it, for example, Leverkusen beating Bayern Munich, sure Bayern Munich is a well-established team that everyone knows may win if their opponent is Leverkusen then people will surely bet for Bayern, I think that is the common knowledge people will do if they would see a match between Leverkusen VS Bayern, but what if Leverkusen beat Bayern that time, we will surely be shocked and we would not really expect the result, but that example can sure happen what if many in Bayern's player would be injured let say Robert Lewandowski is not going to play, or their shot will always miss that time, some things like this may happen and we can not do about it, I say if you really want to bet for the team you think may win or on your favorite team then go on, but as a responsible gambler, always bet if you only have a spare amount with you.

If this will indeed push thru, then, Casimero will taste what he wants here. Now, he got the attention not only Inoue but the boxing community. He even overshadowed Donaire here.  Grin So will be watching this fight as I am curious how he will fight with Inoue.

I am pretty curious as well on how he might counter Inoue or can he handle that hard body blows or suffering the same faith as Donaire, I am pretty curious and excited at the same time I really don't know what may happen inside the ring and how I wish he would really make a dent on Inoue's record of no lost.

You might call him brave for calling Inoue's, but for sure that is Casimero's goal, to get all the belts, and of course for the biggest pay check of his career. Rigo is done already, he beat the man who beat Donaire, that is already an accomplishment for him. for the Inoue fight, it will be different as both are willing to engage in the ring and both have knockout power and will not run against each other.

Pretty much I am really scared for Casimero, Inoue Is a serious monster, and I have seen a lot of his opponents crawling in pain because of that dangerous body shots, he really needs to train those abdomen of his for those shots, because it is a sure win for Naoya Inoue if he can not withstand those punches.

Karlsruher VS Holstein Kiel

This is it, a little more hours and the game will commence, At first, I was really in favor of Holstein Kiel because it was number 3 on the standings regarding the last season of the 2nd division of Bundesliga, with 18 wins, 8 draws, and 8 loses, while Karlsruher was 6th in the standings with 14 wins, 10 draws and 10 losses, but for now my pick goes to Karlsruher winning this.

Hannover 96 VS FC St. Pauli

This is another notable match, and many I think will bet for St. Pauli, Last season St. Pauli was on the 10th spot while Hannover 96 is on the 13th spot, and St. Pauli has beaten Jahn Regensburg so my pick will be St. Pauli winning against Hannover.

Well, it is up to him to add something to his arsenal and the best way to do it is to add wrestling, but it is still OK if he will go to a Striking route just like Israel Adesanya, he will need to polish his takedown defense to ready himself with an opponent that has Wrestling moves, but yes takedown still has a huge score for the judge, but I think he already polishes with his striking with punch and kicks because he comes from kickboxing so he is really ready when it comes to that aspect, but when it comes to a well-rounded game inside the octagon.
It is not that easy as it is said, to add wrestling at a later stage in career will not be easy, if so everyone would be transitioning well who has a striking background, they would spend time wrestling and they will be the best. There are some fighters like GSP who had a striking background but he is known for his wrestling skills inside the MMA community because he was quick to learn them and implement them against the best wrestlers but you cannot expect everyone to be like GSP.

The best they can do is basic takedown defense and if you are against elite wrestlers like Khabib it wont work either.

Well, he may not priorities it, and it is just a suggestion if he can have a piece of knowledge with the wrestling or just he can stay with striking and just up his takedown defense he can surely do whatever he wants, but if he has a style like Izzy then surviving is not a problem, I have seen an article that Alex Pereira can KO'ed Israel Adesanya in this division well we can see if does is really true.

Anderson from Boxing to UFC? Not really, he had a couple of boxing fights at the same time as doing MMA and actually started as doing MT and BJJ at the same time.

I am saying he does a couple of boxing and I think he pretty much does doing good on boxing but yes he had started on MT and BJJ back then and pretty much Silva is pretty versatile when he is in UFC, but again because of that interval time that he stop because of his injury and with his age right now that is why he is not that much of a fighter in the Octagon but I guess it is a different story with boxing, pretty much I really want him to try Paul Logan.
4194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 09, 2021, 09:37:08 PM

Moving up to another division since he already beats every champion from this weight.

I will also give some coins for Casimero ad he have that guts to throw many trash talks to get Inoue in this fight.

Worth to give him some spare as we don't know what he's capable of when meeting someone who he really wanted
to beat.

He also wants to get the attention and as one of the title holder he also has that skills that can beat much
dangerous and much famous champion.

It is funny how Casimero got Inoue's attention and that is because of his demeanor John Riel Casimero will always say what he really wants, and that fight with Guillermo Rigondeaux show's how brave of a fighter he is, by getting his aim on Rigondeaux the whole time this goes to show now his feistiness was very effective and in favor with the judges, and because of Guillermo Rigondeaux boring style, the favor of the judges goes with Casimero in how the way he fights, and with the Naoya Inoue fight I really like for him to never give up and to show what he really got.
4195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 09, 2021, 06:03:55 PM

Yes, I think he should add wrestling as one of his skill sets. Because we know he can kick pretty well but what if someone doesn't give him the space he needs. And that is surely going to happen when he faces someone who has really good grappling skills. A good grappler will always try to close the gap to score takedowns and try to go for ground and pound. If he has wrestling skills he will be able to defend himself in that situation far better. And if he does not consider learning wrestling, he better stay on his feet in the ring because if he goes down it will be trouble for him.

4196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 09, 2021, 04:46:44 PM
I don't think that he needs to fight against Donaire, they are done already and have nothing to prove as is possible that he still win during their rematch.
It's not all about that IMO. Donaire currently has the WBC belt, if Inoue get that together the WBO belt from Casimero then that's probably the most satisfying feel on his career being the undisputed champion on bantamweight division. Either he move to upper division or stay and retire as a champion, it's up to him. As he will struggle on upper division, upper weight class means stronger opponent.

But if he would beat all fighters in the division and get all championship belts, then he is proven and worthy to take the Upper-division, I really think that Naoya Inoue if he would win against Casimero and Beat Nonito Donaire again in their rematch I think it is time to place him on the higher spotlight because I think he can handle it and needs a better challenge than the Bantamweight champion.

But I still hope that John Riel Casimero will prove his worth if he can make a dent and leave a loss mark on Naoya Inoue then I think there is no doubt that Casimero will be well known and even become more popular than Nonito Donaire because he is the one boxer to make such feat in defeating Naoya Inoue.
4197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 09, 2021, 10:36:33 AM
On the first matchday of the 2nd Division of the Bundesliga, I really thought that Holstein Kiel would surely dominate the league, but apparently, they are outperformed by Jahn Regensburg instead, and right now St. Pauli is another that can make a comeback the first team that has landed a lost point on Jahn Regensburg,

I really don't know if Holstein Kiel can climb back up the standings but certainly, Karlsruher is not a pushover team for beating Darmstadt in points of 3 - 0 I think This can turn in another loss for Holstein, or maybe a draw just to be fair.
4198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 09, 2021, 08:54:58 AM

I am surprised as he had a solid winning streak until his loss a couple of days ago, but I guess Glory doesn't have the financial capability as UFC does. That being said, I am sceptical of kickboxers transitioning to MMA big leagues that suddenly. Gokhan Saki had more or less the same MMA background when coming into the UFC and unfortunately had nothing to show.

There are different transitions for every fighter switching careers not all people could be as good as Anderson Silva from boxing to the UFC but we can never know until Alex Pereira would simply know what he is doing inside the ring and as a kickboxer, I think he has established his striking very well but he can surely add wrestling into the mix well it is up to a fighter if he would go that route or just stick in plain striking, let's just wait when he fights inside the ring.
4199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 08, 2021, 08:22:27 PM

I think the effect will be the same, namely being able to destroy other people careers and maybe even being able to kill someone's life, even though ufc is a tough sport, but at least the fighters do use techniques that can paralyze opponents but do not have long lasting fatal effects.

Well, as an MMA fight I think you are expecting bad things may happen and you really need to be prepared in any situation, many fighters have always evaded stomping kicks like that because of their awareness, and it is always part of the fight, and if you are an MMA fighter you would understand the consequence and they surely know that anything may happen inside the ring, it can be prevented and it is really not that very common to have injuries like that.

Its clear foot-stomping technique, though it is although not very popular to be honest but it's honestly nothing new. We have seen a lot of fighters use it. I still remember the Kamaru Usman vs Jorge Masvidal fight where Kamaru Usman did a lot of damage to Masvidal's feet by stomping on his fingers consistently. And about the fight of Khalil Rountree Jr vs Modestas Bukauskas, it is really hard to come back from a short on the face like that. In that situation, he has to always be careful about his nose because if he gets touched in the same spot again it's almost done for him. And I think Rountree took advantage of that. As Bukauskas was much more worried for his nose, Rountree went for his legs. And sidekicks are just fine in my opinion. All the other rules I think are also fine. Because as an MMA fighter you are expected to check those kicks.

Yup! Exactly and it is not really common for fighters to be injured by that kind of technique and I think this is the first time where a career-ending injury happen, I don't want to say that Modestas Bukauskas is a fragile fighter but being injured like that, and I really don't blame him and felt sorry on what happened.
4200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 08, 2021, 04:48:31 PM
Even dortmund isn't strong enough to contend with Bayern Munich it would still be a straight win maybe with lesser goal difference as compared to other clubs. I think Bayern Munich like @poldanmig stated can afford to buy any player and have good team management. It's not enough to have a good squad managing your team is even more important than having the best players lined up

Well, a huge possibility that Bayern will win against Dortmund is given, but if Erling Haaland will be there versus Robert Lewandowski, so this will be a war against MVP players for both teams, but there is still a huge advantage for Bayern winning this but I think the score will be 3 - 1 or 3 - 2 Bayern winning,

But for now, they still need to prepare first for Leverkusen on Sept. 11 and still, Leverkusen is still a hard opponent to come by and they don't want to underestimate it on Sept 11, again if they win against Leverkusen they will surely maintain their standing and hope for the best.
