4181  Economy / Reputation / Re: P2PB2B - resolving "scam alerts" and misunderstandings on: December 11, 2019, 04:35:13 PM
its like seeing this before on a scam accusation thread where team had some fake members.

lol looks like they buried themselves deeper into the mud with all these images. there'd be more scam to happen, this exchange had supported a lot fo IEO which are probably even created by them as well just to scam more people in crypto. it's really good to see people bringing down an almost mtgox to be scam. its a scam waiting to be activated.

4182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Anniversary from the bottom 3k and 2 years from the 20k top on: December 11, 2019, 02:45:05 PM

must be coincidence only. if it does drop to $3k the same date, i would have to believe its really manipulated and its really possible that only one man alone had tried to pump BTC last 2017 and same man who manipulated to dip at exact same date. must be a good story to tell to the mainstream media if this is the case. but i doubt this is really going to happen again. its amazing to see the coincidence though.
4183  Other / Meta / Re: do you think bounty hunters should be penalized?? on: December 11, 2019, 07:29:48 AM

i'm sure there will be warning  first before you get penalized. there are users who will first expose that the project you are promoting  is a scam so look to its bounty thread and ANN thread to see the  warning when you discover that the project has scam accusation. if proven that the  team or a project is very  suspicious with scam accusation DTs will ask you not to  join the campaign else you'd be sanction. bounty campaigns are unregulated which is why users are fighting the scams, no one else would do it but us the users.
4184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altseason soon or not ? on: December 11, 2019, 07:01:32 AM

there are lots of us waiting  for it to happen.  we may have to wait for a longer time but staking  will be a good option for you while you wait. but it will come. two years of  this down trend isn't enough reason  why it will  go up, but the  development  of ETH aka the  fork will probably set new highs for the altcoins that still  survives. so we are just in the accumulation stage.  buying your stash  is a must if you wanna profit when altseason happen.
4185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Equilibrium Pattern Will Lead to Violent Move on: December 11, 2019, 06:32:19 AM

the support is stronger though, it had tried 3 times  to  break the support and somehow we see this to be a good indicator that it may soon set a higher highs after the 3rd time. it may take a week to see where this swing  will go. i wouldn't be  thinking of it going a sharp drop if it really will violently move for there is still a support in the $6800 a chance to dump once it  drop this level.
4186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: December 10, 2019, 06:49:54 PM
How much of the ICO funds are left?
That information is not publically available and it most likely it won't be available in near future. There's a BTC address in which ICO funds were, If someone can do chain analysis then there might be some estimates or Waves CEO should disclose it..

i'm also curious to know how much is left but how much had it grown if they trade it.

30K BTC was raise, we all been here during that time when our waves kept decreasing as more are investing. its definitely hard to see project get that much btc form investors. WAVES is one of the luckiest project ever supported but looking into its development and price seem like sasha did nothing but enjoys the travel everywhere.

i'm not updated but was vostok distributed already?

Hello, electronicash.

The distribution was done for all verified addresses, and goes on for those who participated but not verified yet.
If your account is among non-verified, you can still do it via two ways:
1) Authorize with Waves Keeper or
2) Send 0.0001 WAVES to a special address 3PBNiHBcp8rxiYkGVGNHEGZHEamb1aXeWVv
More details and ability to check your average $WEST balance here https://vostok.wavesplatform.com

Also, taking into account the fact that the $VST token has become the system token of the Waves Enterprise network, the decision to set $WEST ticker symbol  (Waves Enterprise System Token) has been taken to avoid confusion during operations with the token

Sincerely,
Waves Community Manager

yay that's what i'd do. i forgot to verify using that waves keeper which is why i'm not seeing tokens. as far as i know they did take a snapshot. here's a situation, what if after the snapshot i sent my waves to an exchange wallet, will i still have the chance to collect my vostok?

this is because i did have two waves wallet which i tried holding some and some is where i tried trading.  installing browser extension is risky for me but will try this time.
4187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 10, 2019, 06:08:25 PM

Its not to stop BTC, its meant to adopt BTC by having their own coins as well. Governments are already developing tier own coins which were started by China and now Germany and France. The stage is set but the adoption, although pumping BTC right now wil caught you into something due to KYC developments in central banks and governments are speeding up. They better hurry because halving in in few months.
4188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider gambling to be a "fun activity"? on: December 10, 2019, 05:15:24 PM
the gambler who said gambling is fun are the ones who won games.

to be honest i ain't enjoying playing balckjack or poker when i'm not on the table itself.  you can't play bluff/herocall by making faces infront of the players. which is the reason why i rarely play in bitcoin casino expect the sportsbetting which is more fun to watching in big screen. even losing in the bet as long as you get to see knockdowns, the fun still is there.
4189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt is now legal in Ukraine on: December 10, 2019, 03:34:18 PM
Congrats to Ukraine to finally legalize BTC, maybe we will also see Ukraine digital currency as well.

corruption in the country must be very rampant so this legalization is probably just the start to to probably monitor officials in their country since their president sees blockchain as a tool in fighting systemic corruption in the country. there were few articles about Ukrainian politicians owns huge amount of BTC. sort of a surprise that a lawmaker reveals they owns BTC amounting to millions of USD.
4190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Crypto Trading Tools Are You Using? on: December 10, 2019, 02:24:56 PM
you can use it for you don't, its all up to you. why should you ask whether you should or not, its all up to you.  haven't tried mintflint but as i see it, it only provide signals to users i don't know what else is with mintflint. do not trust a software to install while its not from well known reputable company.  why not learn to use an indicators yourself before trading. try the tools in tradingview, its all there.

4192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Gold Became Money and How Bitcoin Can Become Money on: December 09, 2019, 07:49:20 PM
All over history our ancestors are fascinated with gold but story was that its the alien that seeks help they created humans to do the labor of mining gold for their purpose. People are offering gold to gods. And study shows that when gold are heated in a microwave, a component of it travels fast allowing time travel. But this is going to be a fictional story to you.  I've read an article about China about to create a gold backed currency too.

but there is a big difference here that is overlooked. gold wasn't money in first place. instead some day people decided to use it as money and then after some time they gave up and stopped doing it. in comparison, bitcoin was designed to be money and it has been considered money from the first day. and people have been trying to use it as money ever since. then some people came along and decided to use it for other reasons such as day trading, store of value,...

I think this is a misinterpretation of gold history. Gold had been money before it showed up in written history. We really didn't know why it became money. Its origin is somewhat mysterious. So we came up with trivial explanations like a random choice, beauty, and scarcity. We need to see gold in the context of the metal revolutions. Gold and the metal revolutions really gave those innovators economic and political advantages. It's not a random choice of using gold as money.

Bitcoin was digital cash. Then its narrative changed to digital gold. It has not matched gold's value. Bitcoin is more like a collectible now. I think this is similar to gold. People who first found gold use it as a collectible.

Gold is rare and can be used to adorn individual like the kings and queens which is why its valuable in history and they were traded and turned useful to barter.  Before fiat were declared by Nixon to be just fiat, money was backed by gold. Bitcoin is backed by the power/electricity staked by miners by POW to make it secure.

4193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice to bounty hunters that wants to quit on: December 09, 2019, 06:27:43 PM
Lets all get used to this present bounty condition, forget about the past, the more you are expecting bounties to be like what we have seen in the past the more you will feel like quitting, once upon a time there are not too many scam projects in crypto space but after the All time High skyrocketing of crypto it became a target for scammers so right now you have to do the hardwork to make gains, no more easy money making for now at least, get used to it and adjust as you go because money was never meant to be made the easy way, till date there are many successful bounties yet upon all the bad projects mixing with the few good ones.

I will say we need to trust the the such that projects from the bitcointalk and where were the space you are using to hunt the bounty tokens. Because this scammers completely vanishing the positive side of many good ICO projects.

Please learn the thread created on scam accusation board which can be helpful to avoid the scammers and stay safe.

i actually seen teams that weren't accused of having fake members and were considered legit turned scam after all. you may not consider them scam since they just postponed their IEO but for months of not making announcements and updates, what sort of things will a bounty hunter think of?

just imagine yourself promoting a project for 3 months. bounty campaign part 1,2, and 3 and then gets nothing out of it. and then next months same thing happen, it already sound like a very organized crime of ICO teams squeezing money out of the bounty hunters who also invest to the projects.
4194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most popular payment methods to buy Bitcoin in 2019 on: December 09, 2019, 03:45:23 PM
i never though yandex has this payment system, i only knew it because of the fee email they provide which were often considered use by spammers. still good to know they are actually a good company.

vertex.market is somehow like localbitcoins which i'm still not into because of the privacy issues. vertex.market is also asking for KYC, its the normal case these days but if i really wanted to buy BTC and keep my information to only few users, i'd be just going into the currency exchange section in the forum to trade with the trusted people.
4195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum hard fork: Istanbul today Dec 7 on: December 08, 2019, 08:31:56 PM
I think they suspended activities of etheruem because of any possible error or complication that may result to withdrawal and deposit. And I hope this fork in the network will improve the ethereum scalability, so I can seamless trade on Folkdelta and spend less on transaction fee.

that is what they hope to achieve.  they are doing  gradual forking, probably because they would have to add the untraceable option for ETH just like the DASH features and then the sharding too. if it can be scaled DEX will also be excited to see how much transaction per seconds.  no dates yet when we can start staking? this is another venture to work on. those who were late in staking dash, with ETH its still possible.
4196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hide my money from my country on: December 08, 2019, 08:04:35 PM

bringing your money outside your country is easy to do, do it with BTC.  you are like a walking bank already by having a wallet in your phone with you. buying BTC is basically no just investing to BTC but also hiding your money from your country. is your country about to go war?

let us know because value of money always decline when you there is an impending war. the least you can do is support the government instead. pay your tax.
4197  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍀[FREE CPU]🍀BetHash.io🍀 | Free $4,000 GiftBox Offer |💰Lottery 🎲Dice 🎰Slots on: December 08, 2019, 07:26:04 PM

when are we going to start receiving IEDOS?

i recently noticed its been added to the coins we are going to be receive as dividends, feels cool to see the project continues to be developed even when the shortage of RAM is happening. EOS is just not making this scalable at some point, there has to be done to prevent this form happening every time.
4198  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Secure Bitcoin Trading platform?? on: December 08, 2019, 07:05:56 PM

its a chinese exchange, can't say its safe. its not a well known exchange which is likely not your best choice if you are going to look for a safer platform. the only way you can see for yourself is to try it and if they allow you to withdraw your coins then good.

to me, i'd have a doubt of just about anything and if the name of an exchange sound like when you swing a machete wang wang, not safe.
4199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin btc- Why will always be on top. I see BitBall Btb as the next bitcoin 🤷‍♂️ on: December 08, 2019, 06:43:45 PM

you mean to say btc only have value because it has the biggest community and the first, so always a king?

no wonder you pick that bitball for your choice of coin. if no one have heard of it, then you're the only who shills for it.  if you begin to understand how bitcoin works, you will see its not just about being decentralize that makes it worth valuable. but also why attacks to its chain is not possible.

but you got guts to invest to un unknown coin, the deserves respect too.  Cheesy
4200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 07, 2019, 04:23:51 PM

there are users who truly believe in btc to be just the real one but when asked how will btc works when mass adoption finally happen when the early investors of BTC had over 500k of it while some only have less than a btc. the unequal distribution of wealth still exist even in crypto so by the time mass adoption happens, its the altcoins are going to be owned by most of the people who adopted it.  the altcoins that has usecase will have value that can be adopted for late comers which these altcoins are going to be considered good.
