4181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 14, 2020, 04:43:47 AM
According to the report, Gobert is almost cleared to play on that game against the OKC. Yes, he will 100% play on that game. He feels healthy after all. That game will commence.

Gobert is not feeling well, maybe the day after they lose to Raptors game so he was listed as "questionable" on that game against the OKC. He was put on the medical test and the result is "negative". Gobert now just waiting for the confirmation that he is cleared to play. However, the NBA medical staff and Oklahoma health officials decided to test him for the COVID-19 test. I just don't know how they end up considering that decision.

So the one that needs to be credited here is those medical staff that decided to make another round of tests for Gobert that even he is now cleared to play on that game, they still consider testing him with COVID-19 test.
Thanks for the full story report here.  Cheesy

Now watching the replay between the recently Raptors and Jazz game and all I can say is "whew". It's like watching a live infection game. I now feel sorry for Gobert. I can't imagine what on his mind right now. It's surely "heavy".
Sure is.
It is difficult when you are part of something that ain't normal out of the many.
Well maybe if there will be millions infected he will not be that sad.
But I know he could get over this, they are not the normal average person. They are NBA players with healthy bodies and this might become just a little fever for them.

But what will happen to the Jazz team after this.
Mitchell is not happy with what Gobert did and so does other players of the team.
He might be sorry but that is still a reckless move.
4182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't Panic Yet, Bitcoin Analysis. on: March 14, 2020, 01:49:48 AM
Thank you.

I don't understand much of the graph but as long as it looks like a dragon that is going to the sky again then I am happy with it.  Grin
I'd pick the 2nd choice because the 3rd looks terrible to me.
3k once again? No way! I don't want to see that number again.

Is this like a pre-halving sickness?  Grin
4183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 13, 2020, 04:25:06 PM
There is controversial approach to what Gobert has done actually. People close to him or people who had a scare that they might have gotten corona from Gobert are finding him very guilty. Plus he was mocking about corona at locker room and touched everyone's stuff like he did with the mic thingy and now Donovan has corona as well, these dudes are 20+ year old sports players with high end medical experts around them so they will be fine, however he could have hurt someone who is on the older side with his carelessness, all of this makes people dislike him. However some small number of people including me think that what he did was idiotic but at least escalated the move quickly, thanks to his idiotic move NBA is now closed, if he didn't do it maybe there could have been more people infected, so his moronic move actually ended up being more helpful as well.

Negative to positive huh?
Still that is a bad move. There is no going back there. He could not change what he had done already.

Now people are being an alcohol freak.
I don't blame the NBA for having such a big decision here.
You can the groceries getting wild. People are in panic. I hope you are all safe while writing this.
The virus ain't that much for a healthy body since it could fight it.
But the target is those who have the history of sickness or hereditary ones.
If they are infected with this virus then it will get worse.

What if Gobert touch someone with that kind of illness from being careless.
Some people may die and he will be the one to be blamed.
4184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MESSAGE TO BOUNTY MANAGERS on: March 13, 2020, 03:06:15 PM
I was so intrigued by how the manager did it so I took the test.
Wow, I was amazed by the questionnaire.

Some of them are really difficult to answer if you don't have the right knowledge about the project he is operating.
The good thing though is you don't have to force yourself.
It was a real challenge if you won't research.
I suggest the others to do it at your own knowledge only.

Somehow it can also prove something for the project owner that maybe some of us here doesn't really have that right amount of knowledge about blockchain yet.
That way, it could be worked out.
4185  Economy / Speculation / Re: A hard manipulation? on: March 13, 2020, 12:53:24 PM
And fools are all claiming it is from the virus.  Cry

Manipulation or not there should be a lesson for this.
Newbies who are now in panic thinks they might not make anything out of what they have bought.
Divide the freaking total bitcoin to all of us and so we won't see anything like this happening again. Don't let those whales hoard more of it and dump it again next time.

Push the bitcoin HODL once again and not just a trading tool to make more money out of trading.
4186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 13, 2020, 10:36:26 AM
I think suspension makes sense but I still think there could be something done about this in the following weeks to make it come back as well, you can postpone the games and restart the league from where it was left of, or you can basically just go straight to playoffs since there wasn't really all that much left but whatever they do, I hope they do end up finishing the 2020 season somehow.

There are other teams that would not agree with the season going straight to playoffs.

A lot of games postponed because of the pandemic and I hope everyone is good within the Utah Jazz team. I don't like the idea of the NBA being played without the fans there. One of the popular TV shows here in our country has no people there except the artists themselves. It is for the best but it is really sad, I hope everyone is taking care of themselves out there.

30 days before they'll make a final decision, so let us not panic.

Actually I would rather see NBA being played without fans in an arena than cancelling the whole season, I think that's the decision they'll make when they resume.

That may be the best way to still make it happen.
They will need to make money for those players payment. They are all in contracts so they cannot breach that.

No ticket sales but there will still be ads.
But there is growth in reports of players being infected. So, how could they continue with this kind of problem?
They might need to check every player first before they could move again.
It will also be unfair for other teams (with infected players) if they will suddenly lose the chance for playoffs because of it.
4187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Means of Donation on: March 13, 2020, 07:55:26 AM
Well, donation is a good chance for bitcoin to easily say it is money.
It can be used to buy something or anything else just like how fiat will do.
In the end though, it is merchants which we lack.
No, it is not the merchants that we lack off, we lack of confidence to donate or even use it as most people are just making it as an alternative investment.
You can add that up.

But, don't we really lack merchants?
It became an investment because of that. There is no usage. So what will you do? Do you have a choice? You will just keep it.
As if I will go to Japan just to maximize the usage of my bitcoin.
Hell, I will be kicked out of that country in just weeks of staying there.
That is the problem.

Donating is not. As long as it is for something good and real.
You know why people lack the confidence to donate? Scams, thieves, and abuse. That is why.8
4188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 13, 2020, 03:45:49 AM
edit2; I'd better watch the Kings and Pels then, last game of the regular season? lol
Not last game because this was also cancelled, and we don't know when this regular season will reason.
The reason it was cancelled because one of their refs was also in one of Utah's games the source can be found on the same link given by morv.

I had a few bets on that game that got voided.

Apparently Donavon Mitchell and Emmanuel Mudiay[2] also tested positive for coronavirus. Given the nature of the game, i won't be surprised if their entire team gets it[1].

There are speculations out there that former Bull's coach Fred Hoiberg, who is currently coaching in the NCAA (Nebraska) could be infected too.

Nebraska HC Fred Hoiberg taken to hospital with illness during game

[2] - he alright

Those are not good news.
It is being spread too fast and I am really getting worried now.
Looks like we all need vitamins and exercise from now on.

This shitty virus is going to bring the economy down. Sports specially which needs viewers to make money from all their advertisements.
It's a physical game and they need contact which is being prevented now.  Cry

So what do we do? Bet on NBA 2k20 players?
4189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Means of Donation on: March 12, 2020, 03:47:58 PM
It's like admitting bitcoin is a real currency. But yet, they are those who are still hard headed telling it is not.
It is just something which is created for pyramid scamming or whatever they call it.
I don't get it.  Grin

4190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Jimmy Song 100,000$ Prediction on: March 12, 2020, 02:05:56 PM
I don't need to tell everyone in Twitter just to justify all of it.
It may or it may not happen.
All you got to do is HODL.
Don't make them make a fool of you just because you want them to envy you in the future.
It may not be their fault for being innocent with crypto currencies.
I would still rather teach them about it than looking like an arrogant one who owns bitcoin.
4191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 12, 2020, 11:56:21 AM

Trying to follow the status of Gobert here as seriously, I don't know what would happen if a person will be infected, will they die?
According to some news, if you have a good immune system you'll not be infected but Gobert is an athlete and still he was infected, this is really scary.

Most of the infected ones died because they have a history of illness.
Diabetes, lung disease or they are not healthy.

You are correct about Gobert being healthy but they cannot just rely on that.
At some point the virus will be dead if you keep doing things like you normally do.
But, he needs to be quarantined just to be safe specially when there is no cure yet. Or if there is, I don't know if they are already providing other countries.
4192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: March 12, 2020, 10:13:13 AM
No they are not supposed to be blame to. But investors are using that excuse just so they could pin it to someone else or something else.

They don't want to be the one to be blamed at but surely they are.
If you buy tokens at Pre-ICO you will get lots of the shares with just thousands of dollars.
It is different with bounty hunters. They are provided only with a percentage of the whole amount of token which is mostly 1 or 2 percent of it.
Imagine just how low is that and they will all share it.
Some of them stick to keeping it for the long run and some don't.
So if you calculate it, maybe just 50 percent of the whole bounty will be sold which is .5% of the whole. Some of the hunters also fell in love with it and will buy.

Bad marketing and bad investors. That is how I see on why they fall.
4193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 12, 2020, 02:21:08 AM
Holy crap.
Yes, I saw the news also. Suddenly popped up in my smartphone.

https://www.nba.com/article/2020/03/11/nba-suspend-season-following-wednesdays-games

This is really not good for all of us NBA gamblers. But we also have to consider the health of the players.
Back to dicing and online gambling games for now.
So sad.
4194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 12, 2020, 12:58:53 AM
He will be playing in the game against the nets.

https://twitter.com/warriors/status/1237803013177131009

It's actually happening, it was announced minutes ago that this will be the first NBA game played without fans:

Warriors to play Nets without fans in arena following San Francisco order

I caught on a podcast earlier today that GSW will lose approximately $3.5mil per home game. Article on the subject: here

This is going to hurt them a lot.
It can become a virtual NBA afterwards. Way different than watching it live.

Well, we are gamblers here so the game must go on. I think they will still have a part of whatever the Vegas is getting from those scores.
It is just sad to see that the entertaining industry is also being affected by a virus that for me is created as a weapon for mass killing.
They might have just tried it if it does work. That's my opinion though.

Anyway, maybe I am going full blast with my bets.
But, it will be difficult now. You won't rely on a home court advantage from now on.
4195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Blockchain in Hollywood Movies on: March 11, 2020, 03:04:04 PM
Undoubtedly, any films and series that mention cryptocurrency and blockchain at least in passing make cryptocurrency more popular and attract interested people to cryptocurrencies, among which there can be a huge number of potential investors.  Of course, this is only for the benefit of each cryptocurrency user.  But I’ve watched several episodes with criminal overtones several times, where very often criminals, including drug dealers, use Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies for their financial transactions, since no one can trace neither the owners of the cryptocurrency nor track the information about the product for which they paid  cryptocurrency.  I believe that this moment negatively affects the popularization of cryptocurrency in society.

Mostly, yes. It was always glued to a bad scene or plot.
But that could change. We are still in an era where people are lazy enough to research with what the real deal is.
Judging everything just because of one bad event or an experience of one know person.

Somewhere in the future those will change.
These movies will surely use it just like a normal currency should be.
Negative to positive. They are making it more popular even with those bad plots they make.
4196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 11, 2020, 01:45:11 PM
Reason why the management had announce in advance that they'll max out Giannis contract as they don't want Giannis to leave the Bucks.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2853733-bucks-gm-says-giannis-antetokounmpo-will-be-offered-supermax-contract-in-2020

For obvious reason that they are fucked up without him. We all saw it.

Bucks lossing to Nuggets were becuase of their 3 main scoring players was out.

Giannis is not playing...
Middleton as well...
and Bledsoe too having an injury that take him out for their game today.
Yeah, I might consider that. Just this once.
But how about when they were against the Suns?

Anyone seen the Lakers vs Nets game?

Tough lost for the Lakers, they are a bit sluggish early, allowing the Nets to close up the gap and taking the lead, it's just in the fourth quarter that Lakers was able to make a comeback. Anthony Davis is hitting the 3's, unfortunately, the one the needed the most? he missed it. Spencer Dinwiddie has a solid game for the Nets and so is Levert.
Watched it. I was amazed by how the Nets team is giving the Lakers team a hard time to score.
I am thinking they want to secure the 7th spot to avoid playing against the Bucks.
Both Magic and Nets have 30 wins now. It might be possible that they want Raptors to be their head to head foe rather than the Bucks.
They might have a higher percentage of a winning chance against them.
4197  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin is supposed to go up of this corona! people are doing it wrong on: March 11, 2020, 12:41:32 PM
That is not what happened when I went to the grocery. They are now hoarding everything.

My own hypothesis.
They sold their bitcoins to buy those supplies but they don't want to move their money from the bank.
It looks to me like they will jut entrust the banks for now thinking there will be nothing soon.
No miners, no bitcoin holders.

Just my own opinion though. No facts to back it up.
4198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 11, 2020, 11:12:55 AM
Guess who just knocked down an ~30x parlay ? Yeah right, that's me! I've been sitting out making picks here as usual simply because I don't find the fixture really good for me to make a clear-cut decision but I've been tailing @stadus picks.

Tonight, I decided to go for a 1st Quarter/Half parlay bet on some of the favorites tonight and boom! I hit it!

And some of them are live? Wow, I really envy you for that.
Congratulations.

Looks like someone is back.
76ers odds of winning got so high that betting for them is non profitable anymore.  Grin
But I see thru the injury report Embiid will still not be playing. Any secret news guys?
That is 7.40ML for Pistons. It could be profitable.  Cheesy

Heat -9.5
Mavericks -1.5
Thunders -2.5
Pelicans without handicap.

I will take the Pistons ML later for a single bet.  Wink

4199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is fake shit on: March 11, 2020, 04:33:19 AM
To OP, how much did you lose to have this kind of grudge against the crypto currency industry?

That is mostly the reason into why madness are seen to people.
Because they lose something on their way to what they think is fast and easy profit.
I don't blame you at all. Happened to me before.
But you will need to digest all of it and move on. You can share your madness here and maybe that will feel a lot better.
But in the end, you cannot just stop. It will be a nightmare if you will. Everyday thinking about how much you lose and not getting it back.
4200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 11, 2020, 02:41:33 AM
Freaking won it all. Thank goodness.
But that is just 2 games and 1 on side bet for the under score.  Grin
I want more!!!

9 games for later.
Here we go again.

Pacers no handicap.
Grizzlies -3.5
Mavericks -4.5
Blazers -4.5

Side bet for Timberwolves @ 8.20 Just for fun.

I like all your picks, except for Mavericks -4.5, not gonna bet against the spurs at home, I know they are struggling right now but they can beat a good team at home, these two has been rivals so its definitely nice to watch them all but I'll skip the betting part.

Wow! I didn't win any.  Grin Last of my bets is Blazers but I don't care anymore since it was part of the parlay.
You are right though about the Spurs playing at home.
I didn't see thru that. You did great.
One thing I also missed, Aldridge. I thought he was still out and was just shocked that he was already playing.  Grin

I think it was the past 2 games of the Spurs which I always bet against them because Aldridge is injured and I won it all.
Noted.
