Wait, so Elon using FreeWallet to store his coins, or he only give the wallet a try? I think Elon doing some research first before using that wallet, and since a lot scam accusation agains it, he decide to give it a try. Whatever reason, hope Elon got his coins back and not store a lot of money on that wallet.
The fact that Elon tweeted about Freewallet doesn't necessarily mean he must be having an account there. Although, he might it doesn't mean he would be storing his coins there. Elon is a pretty smart guy and he would definitely know that "Not your keys, not your coins". May be just tweeted this so that he makes people aware of using only non-custodial wallets. Freewallet just got some free publicity though Good for them if they are improving their services now onwards. Anybody wise enough wouldn't use custodial wallets to store large amount of coins obviously.

It is never late to buy btc. I have always believed that if you have funds, don't wait for dip, just buy it. You may have to hold longer to get profit but you will eventually get it. Trat btc as long term investment.
You are correct !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I posted this topic, some people were saying wait for the dip when it was in the low 20,000 dollar range I remember you posting many times against bitcoin. It's good to see you have finally realized it's potential. I hope you did buy some btc when you made this post. At that time the price of bitcoin was around $22k - $23k. So it's double than that right now. Tell me you did buy some and even if you didn't you can buy even right now.

I highly doubt that government would be able to bring in the cryptocurrency prohibition bill in this very session itself. The way he is perplexed I feel there is still a lot of work to be done on that bill.
That is what even I think about the crypto ban in India. I mean, how can a government ban something just like that without any proper knowledge about it or how to regulate it. This is not demonetization or something because it involves people's asset rather than just an exchange of notes. It's highly unlikely for the government to introduce a blanket ban on crypto and I think if at all they prohibit the use of cryptocurrencies then harsh criticism is what they will face from the Indian entrepreneurs. This is just my point of view on the situation. The government of India has been double minded on the ban right from the starting.

I personally don't think there's any effect on crypto prices right now due to the ban. We did see some decrease in price when the bill was published online. There was a hype in the market regarding the bill for a week or so but after that the market was clam and I personally didn't see any impact on the Indian crypto market due to crypto ban hype. Whatever fluctuations were seen were noticeable in the global market as well. It was indeed a good opportunity to buy when the crypto bill was published a few weeks ago. I didn't buy/sell anything since I am a long term holder and these types of news doesn't affect me Hopefully, Greyscale will increase their ETH holdings every day, and let's see ETH at 5k$ soon.. That would be a very good scene to watch <3 I do believe ETH price will reach $5k but not so soon. It might take another year for the $5k target to be achieved.

I didn't see that Replace By Fee option on blockchain wallet
Unfortunately, the web wallet that you've used didn't support RBF, in that case, you've nothing to do is just to wait when it will be confirmed. We told you earlier that if you want to have a fast transaction you should put high fees or the required amount on the mempool. I don't think when it will be confirmed, it seems the mempool network now was loaded, and a little bit of traffic. 14 sats per bytes is quite low fees, it's either will drop on the network or else, it takes few more days without any specific time frame when it will be confirmed. You should know these consequences before deciding to put lower fees. omg...It can drop. I thought it will get confirm in 1-2 days. What can i do now? If your wallet doesn't support RBF then there's nothing you can do. If your transaction fees is less then you can just wait for it to be confirmed in a few days. In some cases, if the transaction fees is very low then the miners exclude that transaction from the mempool and the coins get credited back to your wallet. You can then spend them again with a higher fees this time so that your transaction is confirmed. As a bitcoiner you must be open to learn new things which is why I would advice you to read this guide on RBF to get a clear understanding. https://medium.com/@overtorment/bitcoin-replace-by-fee-guide-e10032f9a93f

I didn't see that Replace By Fee option on blockchain wallet
Most of the times you have to enable the RBF (Replace by fee) option from the setting of the wallet. Not sure if Blockchain wallet has that. You can find the RBF option in non-custodial wallets like Electrum and Mycelium. RBF is a good feature when your transaction is stuck in the mempool for a longer period of time. If you want to learn more about it here's a detailed guide https://medium.com/@overtorment/bitcoin-replace-by-fee-guide-e10032f9a93f

The page can not be found? My first tangible win ... Has anyone won more valuable prizes? Since I have an obsessive idea of hodling Fun to get more spins every day ... That's a nice win. I already won 1x 5000 RP and 1x 5000 Lottery tickets. This last couple of days, I keep winning 50 satoshis, which is also not bad. We only need 1 lucky spin to win the Rolex . I have won 2x 5000 Lottery tickets 1x 5000 Reward points 1x 5000 Satoshis But the lottery tickets didn't yield anything unfortunately. It would have been a nice win if one of those lottery tickets actually made it to the top 10. The Wheel of fortune is really nice though. It excites me a lot.

If it would have been so easy, everybody would have been doing it. Even I had earlier tried to find out such ways to keep my bitcoin balance growing but I wasn't able to find one which I could trust completely. The only best option I found was to start staking with ETH2 but I didn't have that kind of balance (32 ETH is minimum required). There are third parties which let us start staking with small amount of ETH balance but then I wouldn't want to trust them at this early point. If you have 32 ETH or more then you can start staking which would be the best bet but otherwise it's better to keep holding the bitcoins and remain it safe and secure.

Now that is some very nice profit indeed. You can take aside the $350 capital you initially invested and play more with the $500 profit you earned. You can try turning that $500 into $1000 and in the process, even if you lose some, it won't be that big a deal because you had taken out your capital amount already. Good luck and keep up the good work.

Right. This will instill fear in everyone mind. Only real criminals would want to hold Bitcoin once ban is introduced. This is not the right decision by government buy then this regime is known to make laws which are against common man.
And why do you think that ? If the Government introduces a bill/law or any rule, it doesn't mean it is always right. There are times when the Government may implement a new law but eventually has to change it. And even if the Government takes the decision of banning cryptocurrencies, I will still be holding on to my cryptocurrencies. It does not mean I am a "Criminal". It only means I believe in the technology. I might not use it though, but I will definitely hold it until the Government changes its opinion about cryptocurrencies (at some point of time it has to) It's just a matter of perspective.

If this happens, paytm Will support it first. And as soon as it's supported by Paytm, everyone else's payment gateway will start supporting it. If possible, Indian government will also have to accept it in Fees of different government works like in Post offices, for e-challans etc.. I'm sure people will put pressure on government. Reading such news shows that we are moving in the right direction. People probably won't understand bitcoin like a ballon and the rate of bitcoin won't go down too much like 2018.
That's far from happening. Government is already against considering cryptocurrencies as a legal tender for now. So I don't think that even if cryptocurrencies are regulated in India, the government will start using them for payments any time soon. This might be a possibility but not right now. Cryptocurrencies still have a long road ahead in India. In order for it to be accepted as a payment method, it will first have to be regulated but the government is still unsure of how to proceed with the regulation of cryptocurrencies in India.

I guess I was really just unlucky this time. So many bets and was able to hit the number just 6 times. I am still happy to be a part of this Gosu event. This Gosu event truly proves " Don't gamble with more than you can afford to lose - ever! " since it bounds us to play within our limits and that's actually a good thing. And yeah, I would like to mention that before starting the Gosu event I was just at Level 3 but now I am at Level 8 Wagered around $5000 and I guess that should have been the case with everyone. LOL. It was fun guys. Thanks @efialtis and @Csmiami

I've finally persuaded wetsuit to take a serious look at LN. It came from a discussion we had recently about our dust problem (229 BTC that's too expensive to consolidate).
First, we'll add Lightning Network deposits and after that's been running for a while we'll start charging a very small fee for sub 30,000 deposits via the blockchain to pay for the consolidation.
Wow, now that's some good progress Freebitco.in is making. Also, how about adding internal transfers as well. That way users who trust each other can deposit their tokens in a single transaction and then doing free internal transfer to themselves. I don't know how it would benefit freebitco.in but it would certainly benefit it's users and eventually increase the userbase as well. Internal transfer between the freebitco accounts will really help and in some cases may save transactions fee. If you have brothers, sisters or wife having freebitco account, then due to free internal transfer, they can move their earnings in one account and withdraw it once saving multiple tx fees. Lets hope this feature is built soon. We will not enable internal transfers because we can't prove we paid them. That's the great thing about the blockchain if there is a dispute between 2 users, one claiming the other one didn't pay them and the other blaming us I can show them the transaction ID. Well implementing internal transfers is completely up to you. You are running freebitco.in since many years and hence you will be the better judge here. But I would like to ask that even if users do internal transfers you guys will be able to track them internally through your database right ? Internal transfers doesn't really have to go through the blockchain. It can simply be implemented just on the database level and tracking each transfer with a consequent transaction id.

His biggest problem when he gets out of jail will be how to explain to some bad guys that he forgot his password - and I'm sure many will be interested in talking to him a little bit. I believe they have very convincing methods to extract the truth, whatever the truth may be. Well the fraudster could simply lie to the bad guys that he already said the password to the police and he no longer has access to the bitcoins. He could simply move his bitcoins to a new address before lying to the bad guys about it. Then run away to another country where nobody would know him and then enjoy the rest of his life with the $60 million. Sounds like a movie What is not very clear to me is this part of the article : The fraudster had been sentenced to more than two years in jail for covertly installing software on other computers to harness their power to “mine” or produce bitcoin. Well, most people know that mining BTC with ordinary computers does not make sense for at least 7 or more years in the past - so the question is how did he manage to mine even 1700 BTC in that way? That's what I was thinking. Probably it's a made up article but why would anybody such a thing

I am posting this because I was surprised how bitcoin market price move. I can't hardly believe that after some time of inactivity in the forum and cryptocurrency there has been a huge changes happen. A drastic bullish trend of bitcoin and other altcoins tha are bullish too like ethereum. I was gonne thought that cryptocurrency could pop like a bubble and everything will go back to the bottom.
Another thing that I also check @coinmarketcap.com is a coin at the top of the listed crypto of coinmarketcap.com btc in the coinmarketcap.com. It has a rank 0 in it highest of all in the market. What could really be happening of thia crypto and why it was being posted in top. There is a high chance that it can grow for more knowing it is listed at the top.
Hmmpp..I am interested to know what could happen to bitcoin. There are really great surprises ahead and that could be mean that btc could go in just a short period of time having 100K $ per btc. It would be possible and we all know of that.
I was really left behind after all this pandemic has cause so much in all of us in financial aspects. If I could have some spare money I gonna love to invest in a coin eyeing on the crypto listed on top of btc in coinmarketcap.com. What exchange could it be bought? I need to get an idea about this crypto. I am also planning to buy bitcoin. Good Luck to me!
The coin you are referring to is WallStreetBets (WSB) and this is nothing but a meme coin (not a real cryptocurrency). So don't even think of buying this because you won't be able to. Yes you are late to notice bitcoin rally up so quick and high. But it's never too late to invest in bitcoin. If you truly believe in bitcoin then you can buy it at whatever the current price is because it has the potential to break the $100k barrier. I believe bitcoin will even cross $500k within one decade. If you think the same then the current price is still a good price to enter again.

That explanation is amazing. More facts are cleared with this however few more gained in the process. Like, you said they would do this in secrete chain and then publish the proof of work later on to claim the 100 BTC example. So it’s more or less illegal way to do so ? I mean if they claim by your procedure then they would end up “stealing” the bitcoins from broadcaster. On the other hand receiving party would never receive the bitcoins!! But what happens to recipient end since bitcoin address was entered but they never reached the address.
Is it a flaw in the blockchain code ? Is it really a reversal or stealing ? It's not a flaw in the blockchain code. It is how it is designed to be. Bitcoin is decentralized and 51% means more than half of the miners consider it to be true. Now if the attacker has the 51% hashing power as an individual, that's something which shouldn't have happened at first place. For bitcoin to be truly decentralized, one entity should never have more than 51% hashing power at all. On the other hand receiving party would never receive the bitcoins!! The other party would initially receive the bitcoin. As the honest chain built up more and more blocks, they would see the transaction which sends them bitcoin receive 1, then 2, then 3, and so on confirmations. If a 51% attacker then published a longer chain which did not include that transaction, then that transaction (and the bitcoin in the recipient's wallet) would simply disappear.[/quote] Would the transactions simply disappear from our wallets or be marked as invalid transactions ? I think the transactions should be marked as invalid ones, not sure though.

Like all such models, it is worth absolutely nothing minus the value of the time it takes someone to realise that fact. Anyone interested in your model should ask you to pay them to examine your model, or else they're getting ripped off. Haha That was hillarious. I partly agree, but didn't the Winklevoss twins do something similar with Zuckerberg and their idea for Facebook, we all know what happened. People routinely exploit inventors because of their oftentimes need for affirmation, as they normally don't fit in with the general population. This naiveté is often exploited. Ok thanks for your input.
Tell me one thing, what's the use of such model even if it exists (although it doesn't). Assuming that the model would predict the ATH 99% accurately (well that's funny too ) wouldn't it make the traders aware and then they will just start selling their coins right before the ATH. Hence a big sell would occur right before the predicted ATH. Hence the ATH the model predicted would fail to be accurate. Hence it's just a waste of time. It's like time travelling to the past and changing something which eventually changes all the course of events from that point till date.

....//...: Hello Csmiami, as they mention 6730 and the decimals do not matter, I am interpreting that it works, but you are the manager if you say that it does not work, no problem. I repeat it is a matter of interpretation if it does not work it is fine.
Hi pawanjain, nice to meet you.
I think we have a manager in this fun roll hunt and he is in charge of showing, saying, correcting, etc.
It is good to cross messages with you, good things that these types of contests leave in other type profit...
Hi buddy, Yes we do have a manager but we are the gosu community where we tend to help each other in whatever way possible. Good to see you around. Also for decimal part : Some more clarification:
- 0673 / 6730 / 06.73 / 67.30 are GOSU number hits (decimals don't matter)
This means we can hit either of the above four numbers. In your case the number you hit was 0.0673 which is invalid I believe.
