421  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: May 21, 2017, 07:52:48 AM
I think advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I spend a lot of my time on my computer, simply because it helps me with anything from fun to work and it makes my life so much easier. Of course, on the side I go to college, play basketball, work out, play guitar, etc. so I'm not glued to the screen 24/7 and I think it's fine when you look from that perspective.

One thing I do hate about the technology is how people use things like social media. They totally forget what's important in life and build around their fake personas, just for that dopamine rush when you get a like or a new message.
It is true that there are a lot of advantages than disadvantages of technology but it is also true that these disadvantages can become destructive which range from different severity that is by abusing the use of technology of course. The solution I see is to use it in a moderation by being responsible and use it in a productive way rather than use it in nonsense matters. Don't get me wrong; you can play games to entertain yourself and might as well get away from your exhausting life but don't abuse it like spending most of your time with this because you need to limit yourself because addiction with this will lead you to waste your time even more.

Whether technology will do us good or bad depends on us so be wise and be responsible.
422  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: May 21, 2017, 06:39:43 AM
Nope. I don't think that trading is just educated guessing because if you are a true trader, you will not just guess what will be the price or the move of a particular cryptocurrency coin because you will do a lot of research and a lot of analyzation because that is how you things can be done especially the decisions that you will make in your trading journey great.
Absolutely,a trader does marketing analysis, financial analysis and does his own research about the coin he is going to invest. He also notices the latest projects and developments which would influence the market and finally decides to take any move on trading. If its just a guess work, then it would not be called trading and it would just resemble gambling.
Agreed. Traders fill themselves in and study it further so they can identify if they will gain profit from it or not. Also they tend to keep themselves updated with the recent news regarding that coin that will guide and help them whether they will still continue or find another one who is much better. Experienced traders have gained an abundant income and stick with it that is very unlike with gambling like you said because in gambling it really all depends with chances and lucks, you can't really do much about it to be able to influence the outcome because all you can do is increase the chances of winning and lessen the chances of losing.
423  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: May 21, 2017, 06:33:15 AM
Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

Because they don't know what they're talking about. Those people are just handing their bitcoins to someone else who deserves them more.
Of course.

They do not know what bitcoin that's the point

Whereas we use bitcoin for future money Smiley Smiley
There are different types of people who say that bitcoin will die. Yeah maybe one of them is because they do not understand the function of bitcoin. So they say that bitcoin is not important and will die

Bitcoin has been around a long time ago and faced a lot of attacks in its system. The problem that Bitcoin is facing regarding the bunch of unconfirmed transactions is a problem that can be given a solution by the developers and can be improved to be better since now that a lot of demands are present because of increasing users in the world. Bitcoin has a good future and will last more than we think it will.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: Switzerland as a bitcoin haven on: May 21, 2017, 06:26:36 AM
Switzerland was a save haven for major business magnets and illegal holders for a very long time and they usually accept everything with both arms and it is not a big surprise that they are accepting bitcoin,we are seeing more countries accepting bitcoin and it is a really good thing for the community and hope to hear more positive news in the future.

They're a country with great wealth, a high degree of educated people and low crime rates. If what they're doing is working why wouldn't other countries just adapt to something similar. Having an open mind allows you to move forward as a society. If you're close minded you'll never look into bitcoins because "it's for criminals".

Sweden really is an open-minded country with open-minded people. Those who accept Bitcoin are open-minded being for they see the good things and bad things alike and weight them. It is not Bitcoin itself is the one who is dangerous or criminal because anything can either be used good or bad and legal or illegal activity which really depends on the person who is holding it. By the help of government and developers, we can put rules and order so that it will not be used in these not so attractive ways.
425  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price on: May 20, 2017, 08:13:23 AM
Wow, its getting higher. I hope it will go down so that I can buy at lower price. For me the move of the bitcoin price has nothing to do with the economy. Bitcoin now a day is in demand and has many use worldwide. Many countries are now using bitcoin as sort of online payments and other online transactions. I hope it would help. So we have to save bitcoins we do not know it will rich 500,000 in price

Agreed. Bitcoin's price in relation with the economy has no real impact as of today but might have in the future especially today that a lot of countries have accepted Bitcoin in their country thus increasing the number of users. If Bitcoin have a considerable amount of users and having a higher price then it would truly affect the economy especially when it is used in a much more meaningful transactions like let's say as a medium of exchange in the global market.

One thing is certain, everyone would be happy with Bitcoin price reaching $2000 and Bitcoin would undergo price correction after but who know that it might exceed with $2000 expectation.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: May 20, 2017, 08:01:58 AM
There still being a lot opportunities to get rich with bitcoins, the thing is you need to invest and expose your money at risk. Altcoins nowadays are offering a lot opportunities to make and get easy money, the thing is you need to be lucky, but well it will require investment and a bit lucky.
No risk means no money to us, we have to be fully aware of the risk when taking it so we will be able to minimize it, that is our way to gain some confidence with our investment and eventually due to good decision making we can always make money.

A business-minded person is not afraid of taking risk. This mindset can also be applied in the digital currency especially in trading and investing. This two methods of earning bitcoin is all about taking risk of putting your money in an uncertain situation knowing that you might get lucky and earn big or lose a huge amount.

right. there are ways to be safe though and you have to make sure that you have enough information first with the alt coins that you're going to deal with. when it comes to the risks, its less risky if you already know your way around trading and trading with a big capital will give you a legitimate chance to be rich

Trading wise, we only get rich when we use a big capital in it. Otherwise short term profit wise in trading, we couldn't be rich. But we could earn from trading. But still we have more options for use the bitcoin in different ways and start to earn from it. Like investment and gambling. If we use all ways of earning from bitcoin than i think it is easy for us to get rich from bitcoin.
If any trader want to be rich with short term investment then for them I will suggest that they invest in any ICO which is started by well experienced developers and the coin of them look to have a great potential to increase in value after the finishing of ICO.
i never invest in ICO coins but i heard from many friends that invest in ICO is very much profitable and a lot of people get rich with ICO coins and now i am trying to find a trust ICO coin then i will invest my bitcoin in it.
Well it will be good to find any alternate of the ICO if you are not able to get it. One thing that you should keep in mind when you enter into the circle of trading. It is not actually the coin it is the mind and the strategies that makes you rich and successful. No matter whatever the currency it is but you have to do your best with it.
yes that is right but i think the selection of a good potential altcoin is also important and you have to do study for that, if yo do not have nay experience in selecting the right place to trade then you even cannot make any profit  from there, even investing a lot of your money.  i think the most important thing is the selection of the right coin to invest.

Yep. Choose an altcoin that is trusted and fill yourself with the news and talks regarding that. By new and talks, you will determine if this ICO would be successful and a trusted one. Also if you are a beginner then it is not a bad thing to ask your friend an advice or two or join a group of experienced people which will help and guide you until you can do it by yourself.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 19, 2017, 04:36:28 AM

Definitely. I do believe strongly that Bitcoin is a great source of income in recent years, many people are engaged in here and earned sufficient amount of money from Bitcoin. You can buy and sell Bitcoin, hopefully you know about current value of it, greater than gold. So if you can make clear yourself about Bitcoin then you can earn money from this potential source.

yes you are right that if a person clearly know about bitcoin and make himself understand about bitcoin in a good way then there are a lot of ways to earn bitcoin and also that ways can be great helpful to be a source of income in the form of bitcoin, and bitcoin is such a source of income that proof helpful in any expense.

Bitcoin is really a life saver, because it saved from the financial problem that we do had last year, but my life has been changed since I have started bitcoin, right now, money is not a problem to me anymore, because I'm earning enough money weekly, and that money is the one that Im using to buy things that I do need in my everyday life and that is the money that I am using to help my family needs.

While to me, Bitcoin is my extra income and I save it that is by not using it if it is not needed to and the fiat that I have is the one I use to buy my daily needs. If something urgent came up then that is where Bitcoin come to light. In my country I can easily withdraw it in the bank through an app which really is useful and comvenient to us, the users.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin becoming so god damn slow? on: May 19, 2017, 04:29:38 AM
Obviously the bitcoin is becoming so slow in having a transaction that almost that a 3days just having a really small transaction in the blockchain it is really because of the rapidly increasing bitcoin users in the globe so i guess they really need more miners and some sort of upgrade in the blockchain and we need another currency to use.
Well there is no better cryptocurremcy to use than Bitcoin really. Let us just wait and see what improvements they will do but I hope that they would do it sooner so that Bitcoin would come back as what it is used to be. It is true now that major countries have acepted Bitcoin like now and then thus results to the increasing number of users and the transactions of course. Miners really do benefit a lot with the increasing transaction fees of many to make it faster to be recieved.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future on: May 19, 2017, 04:18:50 AM
Is bitcoin a future proof currency?
i guess it is future proof if you mean a question if it is going to be profitable and popular in the future, then the answer would definitely be yes because bitcoin is the currency of the future

i think that bitcoin is going to replace all worlds money because the technology is really great and it is impossible for governments to have impact on bitcoins also its impossible to hack this technology
I think the future of bitcoin will depends on the people who use it and also in the market. Then, all markets and all banks will accepted bitcoin and it may use in different kind of transaction.
It starts with the users, without us supporting bitcoin will not progress.
If this will grow it will benefit us especially those who invested, so it's a win win situation of us in the future.

This is really hard to foresee actually as Bitcointo replace the fiat system in the entire world since the price of Bitcoin is very unstable and fiat is a more easy to use in daily basis. I see Bitcoin to be a currency in cyberworld or in the international exchanges or transactions since it is much easy and less fee in sending money from abroad.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 18, 2017, 10:38:10 AM
I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?

I don't think that is right your point of view. Bitcoin and altcoins are the same family and cannot be competition within a family. Anyhow, taking your point of view, I think that there is absolutely no risk in short time point of view that bitcoin be harmed from some other altcoin. There is no candidates (or at least i don't see any) that compete with bitcoin in point of view of value and importance.

Likewise, I agree that Bitcoin is far ahead compared to any other alt coins that we currently have does make no one as a real candidate to replace Bitcoin. After the developers have fixed the congestion in the blockchain then Bitcoin will come back to its usual self and the topics of Bitcoin being dead would subside. I also read topics from a long time ago like years back being Bitcoin would be dead and they are positive with this but as we can see Bitcoin is still alive and this topics regarding this that we have now is just one of those.
431  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Princess is giving up her royal status ,for love. on: May 18, 2017, 10:30:24 AM
Japan's Princess Mako is giving up her royal status -- all in the name of love.
The groom-to-be is a prince himself ... of sorts.
The Imperial Household tells CNN plans are underway for the 25-year-old princess, granddaughter of Emperor Akihito, to become engaged to Kei Komuro, also 25, a law firm worker and graduate student who once starred in a tourism campaign as "Prince of the Sea."

The couple met five years ago as students at the International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan's national broadcaster NHK reported.
It was while in university that Komuro played the "Prince of the Sea" in a beach tourism campaign for the city of Fujisawa, south of Tokyo.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/17/asia/japan-princess-mako-getting-married/index.html

In Japan, the royal family has been a figure of the government but not have that much power than it really has a long time ago especially after they lose the World War II.

This is no exception. In history many such examples were. For example in Britain. Also, I think that being a monarch is not a very good lesson. Modern monarchs have no powers but responsibilities are many. Why waste life on useless ceremony.

------------------------

Also it is good to know that the status they have, the previlege they embraced does not let herself be intoxicated with this. A sacrifice like this for her partner really speaks a lot and mostly if not all are giving a positive view in this.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: May 18, 2017, 09:57:40 AM
I am never sure that bitcoin will be a new era of currency, until now there has not been an official bank accept bitcoin so bitcoin difficult used en masse. Maybe need more than 15 years again to be new era of currency.

But it do has the potential to be one really when finally that most countries all over the world has decided to accept Bitcoin and be a part of the lives of many then that would be nice and would certainly benefit us all unless the government's regulation is unfair regarding Bitcoin like putting a high tax with this and branded those who do not comply as crminals and punish them of course for whatever penalty stated but if they release a regulation to benefit all and is fair then there will be no real problem with Bitcoin and Government.
433  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: May 18, 2017, 09:51:25 AM
Certainly hope bitcoin will be the new era of currency so price bitcoin 1 satoshi = 1 USD, many positive expectations about bitcoin so I prefer using bitcoin for internet transaction than bank transfer.

I'm not really sure to this regarding 1 satoshi to be equal to 1 USD since Bitcoin has only 8 decimals in its extent but I don't really know if it can still be extended though. Is it a but too much with that amount? Because if it does and not possible to extend Bitcoin and let's say Bitcoin has been used globally in daily exchange or in transactions in the world market then the prices of the products in Bitcoin would rise which will trigger the fall of Bitcoin and the reason as to the users to find another coin but I think this is impossible to happen really because it is not realistic.
434  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: May 18, 2017, 09:44:35 AM
Yes, we can not be sure of the future popularity of bitcoin, because much depends on the laws of the country. The government wants to benefit from the bitcoin and if it does not, it will prohibit it.

Popularity sometimes depends on the legal status, but as we have seen from the past instances Bitcoin can get popular even in nations where it is banned outright. A perfect example is that of China. The number of Bitcoin users in China continued to grow in 2014 and 2015, despite the government and the authorities coming with all sort of restrictions against the crypto-currency.

Yes, a government ban can be useless if users really need it. For example, drugs are prohibited in many countries, but this does not prevent many from building a business on them. The same with bitcoin.

Bitcoin needs the support of the countries so there will be no conflict with users and their respective government. It also needs a regulation that will really put everything in order like anti-money laundering but it needs to be fair to both parties because if not then it is much better that they should go with their separate ways.
