421  Other / Archival / Re: PrimeDice.com is a scam -> Scammed me 13.00 BTC -> INFORMATION INSIDE {READ} on: May 30, 2016, 11:29:54 PM
Sounds like a inverse scam to me to make PD lose reputation. I simply will not believe that a newbie posted that he got scammed by PD who have probably gave away almost thousands of BTC since it's inception. For all we know, op could have withdrawn the balance himself and try to fake a btc steal by PD to get back "13btc".

I am amused that op thinks there ain't malware of any sort for malware devices  Roll Eyes

OP seems so angry that his 13 btc got stolen by PD, when 13btc to primedice high rollers are like peanuts lost

There are always two sides of a story.

In other news, I am satoshi. Get it?  Roll Eyes

Ordered overwatch origins edition, recieved key after one confirmation as first time email used. Recieved key in the form of an image, am worried about what happens if someone accesses your back end and sends email to battlenet with prove of ownership? Other than that, good service, consider it a 9/10 rating
425  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Should the Giveaways come to an end? on: May 30, 2016, 05:39:45 AM
The easiest way is to have an easy challenge hidden in your op.

For example : First 5 people to say an animal with 4 legs get 0.001 (example only)
Another one: Tell me what is my profile id number  on bitcointalk, first 5 get 0.001.

Ask people to do some retarded tasks that only humans can do. I doubt anyone here would waste the time to code a neural network with language analysis just to get 0.001 using that method.

Hmmm your legendary account would probably be worth quite alot to the right buyers. You can get a rough gestimate using Bitcointalk Pricer http://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/?token=sqe02818
However it doesn't take into account special things like Donator or trust, if you are part of a significant campaign like bitx people would pay alot more.

I can't be bothered, u made a fake survey

and admitting u know about Bitcoin could get u robbed or

sodomized in Singapore so sure they will say no!

the real answer is 0/10 will say they know Wink

I suddenly remembered this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1220697.0. My bad. You are right. I made a fake survey, actually -10/10 will say they know  Roll Eyes Oh you forgot sodomizing is illegal in Singapore too  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Still wondering how knowing about bitcoin will get you robbed, not like i carry my paper wallets around  Shocked
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Plenty of Bitcoin apps now in Apple Store on: May 29, 2016, 01:38:24 PM
Regardless of the exact number of applications that it has, I'd think twice before using any of them, that device and that OS. However, I'm more curious on the following:

Banned List
What is this list and where can I find it?

Some countries are Still Anti Bitcoin including Singapore

Wait what...I would like to know where you get your information from, I had no idea Singapore is anti bitcoin.. Although I have to agree that the various regulations that Singapore Gov has made to regulate virtual currencies like bitcoin are pretty vague. To be honest, the regulations pretty much only applies to companies that have businesses in or registered in singapore, and than again they arent usually enforced too. I do know a bunch of people here, its alright to let people know you dabble with bitcoin. Like less than 0.5% of the population even knows whats bitcoin actually.

When  u make a shill post u need to know who ur talking to

Bitcoin is know about by all Singaporeans they r so money centric it's not funny

to make some ridiculous claim that the island state of drugs prostitution

and money laundering knows nothing about Bitcoin hahahaha

Commended for your grasp of written english. "Bitcoin is know about by all Singaporeans?", wanna do a real life survey in CBD and discuss about it with a real life open forum and we see how many attend out of knowledge and not curiosity? Walk along any street and ask anyone walking pass, you probably get 2 who actually knows bitcoin out of 10 pedestrians. Money may be laundered simply using fiat. Its funny that you mention me making a shill post. You forgot to mention Singaporeans cane people who eat chewing gum too  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes. You think too highly of most Singaporeans.  Roll Eyes
431  Economy / Speculation / Re: [ASK] Halving Day? on: May 29, 2016, 01:30:20 PM
http://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/

The Bitcoin block mining reward halves every 210,000 blocks, the coin reward will decrease from 25 to 12.5 coins. There is approx 151,600 blocks left before mining rewards is 1/2ed. Which means some changes like people stoping mining farms as no longer profitable or new s11 comes out with much faster hashrate efficency
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me with Thesis name about Bitcoin in Computer Science on: May 29, 2016, 12:07:08 PM
Do you even understand how bitcoin works in-depth? How does bitcoin as a p2p currency system be secure yet anonymous? Merkle roots, blockchain block sizes, information in block header, distributed ledgers? If you really understand all these, it wouldn't be difficult at all to come up with a thesis topic. It seems more like you just want to have a topic related to cryptos to seem like a knowledgeable hipster to your mates and professors. Do you want to hire someone to write your thesis too?

434  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Is Electrum a safe wallet to keep bitcoins? on: May 29, 2016, 10:47:38 AM
I would like to hear your opinions: I heard electrum is a lightweight and fast wallet to execute BTC transactions. Is the wallet safe to use?

Alternatively, I have to keep a blockchain in my computer that is 50 gigabytes

Electrum is safe, fast and efficient, it uses servers which index blockchain so you do not need to worry about freaking huge blockchain filesizes. You can import private keys to a privatekeys only wallet or create a seed wallet. It allows you to receive and send bitcoins using email addresses too, although I would not recommend it. It also allows alot of different wallet types, multisig, 2fa or hardware based.

However, despite all the benefits..Any wallet is only good if your computer is clean in the first place
435  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin haters - where are you now?? on: May 29, 2016, 10:38:57 AM
First of all.. the main purpose of this forum is for bitcoin users, lovers, service providers, etc etc.

Why would you get any replies from bitcoin haters here on this subforum at all? On the other hand, if you want altcoin haters, you can get a few Titanic's worth of them. To many like me, we use altcoins simply to flip and get more Bitcoins.  Roll Eyes

And yea, I hope to see a small dump soon to scare away newbies from holding. So that others can gobble up their released btcs. More bitcoin haters, better for bitcoin lovers <3

The website took 2 minutes to open. Why do I have to login to check the client seed details ? You don't seem to be serious about the site
-FAQ tab is broken
-Rules tab is broken
-Not even a page of information on how the site works or general T&C.
Scam much ?

Please read the description, it's a free dice, website is unpolished, do you see scam in free things?

Right.. Free faucet with BTC0.1? Tell me more about your free $40 dollars eh
