421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 03, 2017, 06:34:30 AM
people are predicting bitcoin will touch $7000 by the end of 2017. In fact, currently bitcoin has passed that number. Who isn't surprised to see this spike. Some say this is the effect of the return of China to this business, others say because of the increasing number of companies that adopt bitcoin. Both are also very reasonable. But until when this upward trend will continue. It's already seventh week for bitcoin green candles. I thought we should get ready for a correction.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is it the Future of Banking ? on: November 03, 2017, 06:22:27 AM
i was thinking about the Bitcoin and it's Future in Banking . can it remplace money in transactions ?

I think it's already started since the first transaction of bitcoin. and as I know, with bitcoin, you can put your own bank into your pocket. and the money you save can't be manipulated by the center of authority. no monthly fees are charged to the users, and we can set the shipping cost from minimum to maximum. Maybe someday, every country will change their banking system into a cryptocurrency system.
423  Economy / Economics / Re: Reliable comparison between mining vs. buying and holding on: November 02, 2017, 12:47:20 PM
I see mining to be more practical during the early years of bitcoin since we can get bitcoin for the same cost as our electricity and maintenance of cpus, however in the long run, bitcoin miners were developed and it did cost much more.since it needed much electricity and it needs to run for hours, however if you hodl during that time up until now, you'll see that it is worth it, but i do not suggest mining at this point, and just let the real miners do their job, since minig machines had developed through time and it is much harder to mine these days.at home, since you could only mine fewer bitcoins, well as for buying, it is practical before up until now, but with the value of bitcoin today, you need to know when to buy, and for holding, i still suggest to hold on to your bitcoins and wait until it reaches it peak value.
Well as compare to you I do the saving and for me the bitcoin saving is the best and the price worthy process. Because it is very important to save the bitcoin for the long time as if you will buy the bitcoin today and you will hold the bitcoin for the long time you will know the value of the bitcoin is increasing and you will be able to sell your bitcoin at the high price while you did not buy at the high price so it is the profit.

I  am still unsure of this, but I realize that mining can be more profitable if we can get ROi less than a year. so, once ROi is obtained, the next result becomes fixed income. Holding bitcoin is also profitable, but you will not know whether the price will continue to move like this year.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin change the distribution of wealth in the world? on: November 02, 2017, 12:28:57 PM
Does anyone have information whether bitcoin would distribute wealth more equally across people than the current wealth distribution?

Or would the distribution be even more unfair?

First, I think wealth is not distributed but produced. if you think bitcoin can make a fortune, it's possible, but unfortunately, with bitcoin, rich people become richer, and the poor could get rich. so still, wealth can not be equated smooth in this world. this is because the mindset of people are different. some want to expand their money, some want to spend their money, etc.
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: when do you buy ? on: November 02, 2017, 11:36:53 AM
I see a lot of people talking about when to sell; but I think that buying is as important if not more (obviously you buy* low -_-). so do you guys aim to buy the lowest low of the day/week/month/... and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict. do you wait for price reversals? do you follow expert advice?? please share your thoughts and your stories (successful or otherwise Smiley)
I usually buy my favorite altcoin when I see the bitcoin pump because at this point the altcoin will dump. I will buy it at a cheaper price and wait to sell it for a higher price.

in fact, altcoin will definitely go down if the bitcoin is being pumped if the altcoin you trade alt that paired with bitcoin. i.e like eth / btc. ltc / btc, dash / btc etc. But it's different if the altcoin you trade is paired with USD or other local currency. This is proven by some altcoins such as xzc / usd, bch / usd, xrp / usd, which had come up when bitcion was being pumped. So I think this depends on the type of altcoin we are trade.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: What is Bitcoin's fair value? on: November 02, 2017, 09:43:00 AM
There's no a fairness  limitation for a cryptocurrency. even in my opinion, current prices have already shown unfairness. but if we seen from the demand and limited stock, didn't rule out bitcoin prices will continue to rise as more users and investors. therefore, with its limited number and increasing demand, so we can't determine the fairness of bitcoin prices.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitcoinCash a joke? on: November 02, 2017, 06:46:41 AM
$1.4 billion volume, $9.1 billion market cap, $543 price . If you're looking this on CMC, you shouldn't  call bitcoin cash a joke. It is number 3 on the top cryptocurrency, and always be on top traded in most of the big exchange. The one you should call a joke was a bitcoin gold.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The primary idea of bitcoin on: November 01, 2017, 12:35:18 PM
Maybe this sounds strange but I think that Satoshi didn't have so big plans for bitcoin like it has developed now. Probably the idea was to introduce the new technology and some virtual currency in new virtual era, to give people some alternative to traditional fiat currencies and centralized finances.

I thought not just that. bitcoin represent a true democrasy in human life With a decentralized system. Imagine,  if all country use the cryptocurrency as their daily currency, imagine the election with a decentralized system. This world could be better than this.

Maybe even Satoshi didn't expected that bitcoin will achieve so big success out of nothing.
But I'm sure he didn't want limit bitcoin just to certain groups of people and that only few profit out of it but things often turn out different than we want them.

You're wrong dude, satoshi was predict everything from the first time. He create a bitcoin with 21 million limit so the price could keep rising time to time. And althought the price was so damn high,  you could still have it with small quantity, thats why bitcoin could split into 8 digital number.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future? on: November 01, 2017, 11:59:55 AM
Yahoo was the first (?) search engine at the time when Internet started.  It was the pioneer in its field.  In the late 90's its market cap reached to a high closed to $120B.   Three and a half years after Yahoo started, Google came out and gradually took away market share from Yahoo.

After 22 years, Verizon bought it for $4.8B.  Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future and got beat up by new competitions?

What do you think?  Please provide your reason(s) to support your view.

in fact it is not impossible to happen to bitcoin if the developers can't compete with altcoin or even ICo. After all, there are many altcoins that offer the same thing, even more than the features that bitcoin has. Yahoo is one example of the developers who failed to keep up with technological developments and the will of the users. Nokia too, experienced the same thing. So, it might happen to bitcoin.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My mother is 70 ... on: November 01, 2017, 07:43:50 AM
My mother did some of her own research and got stuck in the "Bitcoin is a bubble" and "Bitcoin is used by criminals" Fud. It took me 4 hours to convince her that normal people use Bitcoin and how Supply & demand markets work and why we are seeing these bubbles.

My whole family is invested in Bitcoin now and they have ROI on every cent that they invested. I have to stop them from selling assets to invest in Bitcoin now. ^smile^

well, I think I need to learn with you, how to convince our parents that investing in bitcoin can be very profitable. for me, the problem is that my parents are still in the tech-stuttering class, and when they feel it's a little difficult to do, they just ignore it. In fact, old age should not be a barrier to know the technology further. because technology is never old, there is always new in every day.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 is the Year for Bitcoins.... on: November 01, 2017, 06:38:15 AM
when I see a surge in bitcoin prices this year which reaches almost 7 times the price at the beginning of the year, I agree that this year is the beginning of the revival of this technology. With the growing number of big companies like microsoft, steam, amazon, it certainly becomes a stepping stone for bitcoin to continue to skyrocket. But we must be prepared with all the possibilities that occur. The worst possibility, such as from 2014 to 2016, takes 2 years to raise prices.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: October 31, 2017, 11:51:15 AM
Almost every country has unemployment problems. There are many young boys who are working unemployed. But the days of settling their turn are over. Now, if you wish, you can earn a lot of money sitting in the house. Bitcoin can earn their unemployment by earning. It can be possible to improve the country by improving their lives by earning bitcoin. That is why Bitcoin among all Habetahale to spread the knowledge of the second day will increase the demand for Bitcoin.

if you mean getting bitcoin from signature campaign, bounty campaign, faucet, etc, you should change the title of this thread to "bitcointalk to eliminate unemployment". Although it can't be said as a real job, but it is enough to finance the lives of the unemployed. And this forum is the middle level of public internet consumption, and it is not easy to get information about this forum unless you get information from someone. I think most unemployed people will not know it.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a right time to invest in ICOs? on: October 31, 2017, 11:28:58 AM
ICO's are the new form of venture capital. Why should the rich get richer only, by being able to be venture capitalists.

Its never a bad time to invest in an ICO. Just be careful - like every thing in life - there is good and there is bad.

agree, first thing you have to do was learning it's project, Join the forum or social media group. Don't just focused on the profits they promises because all ICO's was promising a big profit. If you think that the project was make any sence, you could start to invest. And if you want to investing in ICO with BTC, this was a right time, cause the bitcoin price was on a peak, But choose wisely, some ICO's might be a scam or could be a fail project. And its mean you will lose your money.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What You Think? Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Price bid bitcoin(btc) Price. on: October 31, 2017, 10:50:01 AM
I just Wondering when I see Bitcoin cash(BCH) price up $1000+ some exchange Platform  and also 24 hours tread Volume 210,236BTC in coinmarketcap. Could Bitcoin cash bid bitcoin ?  And it's really Possible.

If you look at a last pump of bitcoin cash, it's more than 20% and almost 30%. RIght now, the price seems to be stable on $400. I thought its because the bitcoin cash developers have already setting a date for november hardfork. In one of the article says that they will seek to change the software rules via a hardfork on november first. This should be a first movement of the bitcoin cash. And if the developers keep a good work for this BCh, It's wasn't impossible the price will back to ATH or more.
435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading strategy before the fork in mid-nov on: October 31, 2017, 07:49:09 AM
i am expecting a drop before the fork but i was actually expecting this drop to happen these days but as you can see price is rising so i am not so sure about my strategy regarding this November fork. the drops always happen far before the fork not the day of the fork or even after it. and since we are only a couple of weeks away from this fork we may not even see any considerable drop apart from small corrections.

because of this i do what i always do when i fail to predict, i just hold bitcoin and start trading altcoins that i can predict better or for example altcoins that i see are getting pumped.

Actually, nothing could ensure when a drop will happen. Would it be before the fork or after the fork. I predict bitcoin would have a correction in november. if you look at the weekly chart of bitcoin, this is the seventh week for the green candle, and who knows how long the up trend will continue. But I still believe that next month there will be a correction. so, now is a good time to sell bitcoin, and re-buy it at a discount.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason for Bitcoin's Rise on: October 31, 2017, 07:26:01 AM
The real reason is because Bitcoin is a measure of the global debt the exists on a global scale. Since BTC is on it's way to replacing FIAT as the universal ledger, it has a long way to go in terms of price.
The main reason for the bitcoin rise is that people are now sick of the cash money and this will give a lot to the bitcoin and they are rushing toward this because it is the most profitable coin of this time and the popularity of bitcoin is the main reason to the rise and user demands as well and in future price will be more high because bitcoin will totally kick out the use of cash money so adopt it for sake of good future,

not just that, today..people are getting smarter and harder to fool. People think that investing their money in cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin, is more profitable than keeping it in a bank with low interest and monthly administration fees. Meanwhile, in terms of functionality, cryptocurrency is not less than the bank, I think this is also one of the things that pushed the price of bitcoin to continue to soar.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: future about Bitcoin on: October 30, 2017, 06:31:31 AM
In November, more Chinese Exchange will reopen. What is your opnion about the Bitcoin industry?

If this true, that chinese exchange will reopen again,  i think its a such a good news to us,  because chinese government has a big influence in bitcoin and if they really coming back again theres a big event to wait,  bitcoin will pump huge than what it is before so brace your self bitcoin holder and see what happens next after chinese government joined the party again. Bitcoin future will surely comes to more successful.

On the contrary, I believe otherwise. I agree that they have a big influence, before, but when they decided to left bitcoin, they have lost that leverage. And I also doubt that there will be a pump as well. Investors still remember what they have done before when they go, the market crash although bitcoin has already recovered. Everything is perfect now, Japan took the lead together with South Korea. We prefer they don't enter the picture and make another disruption.

in my opinion, this is indeed a settlement from china where in the fall of the price of last month, they can show how much influence they have on this technology. Then I'm sure, when bitcoin prices go down, they certainly will not miss the bitcoins at a cheap price generated by themselves. And once the bitcoin is back on top, they decide to go back to the business. ALthough you says that japan took the lead together with SK, Don't think china would just sit back behind.
438  Economy / Economics / Re: Indonesian Ban on: October 30, 2017, 01:30:31 AM
It's a warning, it doesn't say anything about banning the use of bitcoin.
As we can see at the last words, it says " We see using bitcoin as a risk".
It's okay, most of the countries have announced that bitcoin is a risky investment, it doesn't mean that they have banned it, it just says that they want to give a warning to their people, but can't have a solid statement on the coin right now.

that's true, I know that the country is not prohibited from using it, but it commemorates the citizens about the risks of cryptocurrency technology. So in other words, the government allows to use but please bear its own consequences. Besides, although in the country forbid bitcoin, I don't think it has a big effect on bitcoin. because the country is still a developing country and has no major contribution to the development of bitcoin.
439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how control my emotion?? on: October 30, 2017, 01:01:04 AM
sometimes a loss is better than a big loss. in technical terms use a stop loss order which is practically doing this for you. it triggers when price falls lower than your "tolerance" so you automatically dump the coin and prevent further losses.
it doesn't have to be a stop loss and automatic either. you can do it manually too. you just have to plan for these things ahead of time. for example you buy ETH at 0.07BTC and decide that you don't want to lose more than 5% of your money so you dump it as soon as ETH got dumped hard down to 0.0665BTC and prevent losing more money when it was really dumped hard down to 0.046BTC and then buy back at the bottom.

I agree, determining a stop loss is one wise way that can be done to reduce the risk of greater loss. By setting the limit, we can then buy it back at the lowest point, and when the price goes back up, our previous losses will be covered because we get very low entry poin. and this is indeed a basic strategy done by stock traders, forex, and the like. It is possible that this strategy can also be used in cryptocurrency.
440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When sell ETH for BTC? on: October 30, 2017, 12:14:04 AM
Or course people will sell it when eth is high and btc is low because it will make trading easier but people want more and they got the complete opposite.
ETH is at second number after bitcoins in international market. So like you said, one must observe the comparison of both coins. If you find both at same level currently, then shift to bitcoin they will yield more. But yes majority times, ETH is high and BTC is low so sell ETH and join this amazing coin.
Yes all the co-relation of BTC and alts has amazed me and specially the ETH and bitcoin. I have noticed that whenever there is a dump to the price of bitcoin the same will happen to the price of ETH and when the bitcoin price accelerates so do the ETH. There hardly be a time when Bitcoin and ETH prices move in an opposite direction. There may be any rare example of the prices going in opposite directions.

there is no guarantee that bitcoin and ethereum are moving in the same direction of the price, it is proved that when there is a dump in bitcoin, all altcoin falls down and the ethereum value has touched below $200. But as bitcoins rise and head for new ATH, ethereum remains steady at $300. This means there remains a certain restriction on altcoin to follow the movement of bitcoin prices. And now is not a good time to sell ethereum for bitcoin.
