The 5million dollars you get before ico. Did you put that from your own pockets?

Or get them from private investors?

Must be early backers

If its from their own pockets, they must really believe in their project right? Anyways, I would guess from private investors too

Entering in blockchain technology could bring many advantages when it comes to business. This one is unique because it has already functioning platform.

Can you explain why it makes Rentberry unique by having an already functioning platform? And what kind of advantages are you talking about? Dont be so vague

Mark.space was recently in NY, you can read the article here: https://medium.com/@markspace/mark-space-in-new-york-an-applied-view-on-vr-technology-cc1f5e04668a
Quote
IBCG and BURO HQ held a first major thematic event in New York, to which they invited strong speakers to discuss issues related to blockchain technology and crypto-currencies. We were no exception to the party; MARK.SPACE managed to steal the attention during its Big Apple visit.

2 things I liked reading is; 1) answer to “So why exactly do you need Blockchain?”  2) ''MARK.SPACE made new friends and created a strong foundation for new business opportunities. ''

I really like reading blogs/tweets about blockchain conferences, keep it coming. It would be even better if participants would write about it. Why doesnt that already exists?

Was there any softcap for the TGE? I haven't seen it stated on the WP. Or I've just missed it?

You are right, there is no softcap for the TGE. The project will go on no matter what the sales results will be. Actually, the token sales are going pretty well, round 1 already sold out

I personally think that soft caps should be there as it shows really what amount of money they need for the product. Without it project owners seems greedy.

non-sense, even if no-one contributed the project would go on. how is that greedy? if anything it's opposite of greedy.

In my opinion, no soft cap reflects a real trust of developers in their project. Not all ICOs are start ups, some of them are already running businesses that needs to raise money for expanding, so there is no need for soft cap for every project

Having worked in property management for several years, I can really appreciate all the companies trying to blockchainify this industry.

Do you think with your experience that the property management is suitable for blockchain?

I have been checking the website and I can't find anything in Europe. When are you going to implement it?

That would be my question as well.

As per their roadmap expansion to Europe and Asia is planned for Q3 2019, still a long time to go.

So Europe won't be among the first target areas? That's a shame. I believe European investors would have much more incentive to invest in Rentberry would also be operating in Europe.

Yes I checked the website and for now, Rentberry seems to be active only in the United States. I like the platform/website, very easy to use.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][Rentberry] – Decentralized Home Rental Platform on: December 10, 2017, 01:37:51 PM
This is a very viable project considering it has already a working platform at https://rentberry.com/ . I think it has a lot of potential for success.
that's a huge factor because they're usually projects that jus have a whitepaper to show what they want to do. But in this case you can see how their platform is going to be because it's already working.

People seem to care a lot about existing products, but I think that is a fallacy. We dont know how the product will work on blockchain, so it doesnt prove anything..
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][Rentberry] – Decentralized Home Rental Platform on: December 10, 2017, 01:24:41 PM
I was wondering. is there anything left to decentralize? And I see the answer now: Home rental!
What countries will this project focus on?

Hehe found another one pretty quick before ico to decide if i should go, for now page looks nice (that particle effect hipnotized me  Cheesy ) team seams pretty solid and i dig in whitepaper after finishing post Smiley
i like the trend of VR projects that simbolize the boost in this niche and im realy glad about it ,icos that i did already in vr was decentraland and vybe i have good sense about this one to ,i liked the idea of taking creation to almost game like experience !i hope this project will give new colors to VR space, will try follow and post my opinion about whitepaper Smiley

Yes, 2018 could be a really good year for VR as there are several good VR projects on blockchain coming now. And good software is what until now was missed for VR. I need to considere to buy me some VR Hardware in 2018 Cheesy

A friend is CTO one of the biggest VR companies in New York. He says the technology is not quite there yet for consumers to mass adapt.

Well why is he CTO of the biggest VR companies ? What time frame does he expect that VR is ready for consumers to mass adapt?
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 10, 2017, 05:06:58 AM
Price of VR glasses is still a little bit too high for everyone to own it, thats why you should figure out how to attract new users to make the investment and join your platform. I hope by the time you will implement most of the features, the technology will be more accessible.

Do you really need VR glasses? I tried the demo on the mark.space website and I did not need a VR glass

SophiaTX

eхplaine me, please, how much tokens Ill receive for 1 DCT? amount in DCT fixed per 1 coin?

I don't want to do the math but right now 1 ETH = 1447 SPHTX (1 SPHTX = 0.00069 ETH) and rates are written one post above yours.

I asked about investing in DCT. I see how many tokens per ETH. I want to know about how many per DCT.

Others took the trouble to do the maths for you Wink. Here's the calculation of @SophiaTX for the 2nd round.

Well I calculated it (If you see any mistake let me know) and for the second round you get:

1447 SPHTX = 1 ETH

BTC: ETH/BTC 0.026864919500000008
1447/0.026864919500000008 = 53862.0634988 SPHTX for 1 BTC

DCT: BTC/DCT - this can be considered as a typo. It should be: DTC/BTC 0.00003916320000000001 because 1DCT costs this much BTC. So:

0.00003916320000000001*53862.0634988 =2.10941076522 SPHTX for 1 DCT + 10 % = 2.10941076522*1.1 =2.32035184174

According to the current exchange rate, it turns out that the bonus of 10% is lost, because the etereum has grown more than DTC, count yourself.

Wow, I thought DCT was the best price but I didnt think about how ETH growing more than DCT would affect the price. This shows me once again im lost in the ocean of crypto, my only win would be buy and hold and hope Sophia will skyrocket

This could as well become a social network, it has similarities with how seconth life is working for what i remember, but in there, there is no vr.

I think one of the goals of Mark.space is too make the platform a social platform. So you saw that right. There is even a sociologist in the team, this should be good
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SophiaTX Announcement - The Blockchain for Business on: December 09, 2017, 09:31:06 AM
We sold out our first round in just over 24 hours! Thank you for your participation and support!

Just as what I've expected! And Im very optimistic that the next round will be sold out very soon. Smiley

Very nice, must be good marketing team.

Congratulations on the success!
Oh, I think I missed 1st round.  Cry As I understand it round 2nd starts in 30 hours?

No it is very confusing but round 2 is active now, round 3 starts in 30 hours I think. I am a bit confused too, but if you want to make sure you should ask it in Telegram before it is too late. They should change it on their website too

Hello,
Quick question here.
Quote
MARK.SPACE is an online virtual reality ecosystem, powered by blockchain, allowing users to involve in social and economic interactions, create new content, exchange goods and services with each other.

The platform combines social network, ecommerce, virtual reality and blockchain.
Will you make it all by your own or make some partnership for it?

There is a whole list of partners mentioned on their website https://mark.space/#Partners
What I don't understand is, what kind of partnership is it? For example Jaguar, why is Jaguar a partner?

Why Jaguar Landrover is a partner?
Well, that is easy - because they do need VR representation
They will have showroom in our platform as part of their marketing and then as part of their customer service as well.

Thank you for your reply! After my post I tried the demo and saw that your partners have a showroom in your platform and than I understood the partnerships.

Independent rating platform rated this project 4.1 / 5.0

https://icobench.com/ico/mark-space

There are very different estimates of experts. All put basically 3, only one put three 5, because also from Russia. Very subjective rating. You need to analyze the project yourself. The idea is very similar to the Decentralend from Movement DAO. But of course here technically done 100 times better. And so, the theme of virtual reality is very popular now. Therefore, such projects are successful.

That is a very high rating and good news for Mark.space, but like you said I wonder if it really is independent. Is there any reliable source out there who does independent ratings of ICO?

NEW ROUND STARTS
in 31hour : 30min.
or 3393188 tokens to be sold
26606811 SPHTX sold

It seems that first round will sell out. Great start.

I am happy that i bought with decent and get the best price out there Smiley

When I saw the hype about SophiaTX I thought it would sell out in first hours, but I guess that does not happen anymore in ICO world. Still a very good start for SophiaTX

They have already reserved space on their platform. I understand Jaguar will have some kind of virtual showroom. Btw, you can check out the demo on their website where you can visit the different spaces.

Yes I already checked the demo and saw for example a FIFA room.. So does that mean that Jaguar and FIFA invested money so that they have their own room in the virtual reality? And Mark.space can use their logo on their website?

I send my dct's to sophiatx. By the way, I didn't hear dct before sophiatx but after I use it I can say that it is damn fast. It is going through in 5 seconds.

Maybe that is because not many people use the network? Anyways, it is good promotion for DCT that SophiaTX is giving 10% bonus for DCT payments
