Well, I was just wondering if there is already a date for it but it seems like the date isn't fixed yet. So I assume it won't be launched this year (because it's not on the roadmap yet).
I do think is coming out this year though. I feel they have everything on ground maybe the only thing that can delay them might be regulations. I would really appreciate when the mainnet will already be launched this year. It's always a great step for every project when the own mainnet goes live. |

I don't think any date has been given yet as launching a network is really a hard job where you have to make sure everything is fine from core as once its done they cant really make any change! but be sure that this will be released by this year! No date released about that yet. But I believe it will be passed across to the public when it's time. They most likely are working towards getting everything perfectly in place before going public. Not so sure though, just assuming Yes. It seems more like there is work going on. Covalent team has been quiet for some time, trying to focus on the project and give a mainnet to impress investors. that should come eventually! with their speed of ongoing development and everything, i'm not really having any second thought about them! but like you guys i'm also hungry to check the mainnet out! I find it funny how people think 15m is hard for a project to raise when some crap projects from a year or so ago were raising 500m to 1b in fiat on basically hot air, people for some reason keep thinking magically because the market is lower that people don't invest cash anymore, the fact is 15m fiat a year ago is still 15m fiat this year to invest, so definitely achievable
For me, 15 million is just an incredibly massive amount of money. And maybe they'll have no problems raising that much but I am just wondering if they really need that much money. |

I saw a report that stated ICOs rised over 160m in first half of January! That means people are still believing in crypto and ICO! It ain't dead! Neuronium seemed versatile project that involves diverse interests. It will be very interesting to observe the implementation of the project, because the developers have set themselves a very universal tasks that need to be developed, I would love to participate!
How is the sales going on? Any further announcements on the investment raised? I would love to hear the softcap reached news soon. Right now, they are in the private sale phase and they raised $1.1 million so far and the main sale will start on May 1st. Their softcap is 15 million USD, so it's still a pretty long way ahead. $15 million!? That's going to be a very tough feat to achieve. I hope they can do it, but I think Neuroneum will need to step up their advertising or start trying to set up meetings with bigger corporate investors if they are ever going to hit those numbers. Yeah, it's really a huge amount of money. And I think to really reach it, they will have to get some institutional investors on board. I don't think a project can raise that much money nowadays only from investors like you and me. |

The issue is quite deep and bigger than any of us, brands are ripping off our data and every app is by one way or the other trying to have access to our privacy, you get to see apps now requesting to have access to our gallery and much more, so i believe Cova has so much holes to fill, to help eradicate the incessant issues of data been stolen and much more You are right, there are so many areas in which our data are queried. Cova has a lot to do here. I haven't thought about the apps yet, so far I only thought about filling out forms on the internet:-) But our data and pictures come from so many different sources that you can easily lose track of them. Yea, its actually not a funny situation and its a known fact that they collect our data even before we know what's happening, that's if we actually know that our data has been compromised, i'm not even sure that there are strict laws in place to avoid that, so we are defenseless and at the mercies of the third party or big corporate brands to use our data as they please Following this project has made me start to think about what type of information I should share on the internet. Our data can be manipulated and used in so many different ways without our knowledge and it's time we got out privacy back! More people now should start to think the same way. I mean, a project like Cova will have it hard to find adoption when people just don't care about what is happening to their data. |

I wonder what kind of moves we will see from the team for adoption/integration moves, i'd love personally to see them move to try to integrate with something like chromium or brave to see what kind of front end data security would look like in that kind of partnerships
They sure need some platform to try their protocol out! I dont know about Chrome but there many Chromium based browser such as Cent where they should give a try! Or like you said Brave browser! They should have their door open as they are also a Crypto based company! True, I think they will make a fine partnership with Brave browser too, but I will really like it if they are not limited to some browsers, I mean, different people with different preferences and being operational in all browsers to me is something cool. Such a partnership would be great for the project, of course. But I think it will be very, very hard to get a partnership without the mainnet beeing launched successfully. |

I am not completely sure but as far as I understand it, the cryptocurrencies that you mine will all be converted to their native tokens. So I guess the debit card will be for XNR tokens. Correct me if I am wrong. |

This is indeed accurate, the recent happenings in the internet world has come to open the eyes of the world as to how important data security is and COVA is profering something extraordinary which millions would have hoped we had sooner. I guess you are talking about the recent data leak where more than 700 million mail-addresses and passwords were leaked? Would Cova really be able to prevent such things from happen again by introducing their smart data? |

I see Neuroneum offers crypto holders a Neuralink Card to make spending your assets easy. Seems it doesn’t take much to design a card, bc most projects already got a debit card. What makes Neuroneum Card different?
You are right. There are a lot of projects that offer crypto debit cards but if you take a closer look, is there really a working solution already? I think Neuroneum made the decision to offer a card by themselves so that users have an easy and convenient way to directly spend what they are earning either by mining or renting out computer power. |

It’s been some time since I last saw a post from anyone from team Cova. There are a whole lot of people showing interest in Covalent internet protocol and trying to keep up with their investment here but there’s no one from the team to reply questions.
Honestly your more likely to get response from the actual team on their telegram as i don't they they really did much posting on bitcointalk i'd imagine its just too hectic to keep track of threads in here when they have a direct form of communication available like telegram Sadly, it's not only on bitcointalk where they've registered a very low participation, even all their social media platforms have very low number of content. A whole lot might be going on but those outlets were created for communication and should be duly utilized. Thats indeed a Sad thing! I follow their twitter to get update as telegram is too much for me to get update unless i need any personal assistance. But good thing they have Bi weekly updates coming in regularly! I justs can imagine that right now there is just not much to tweet about at the moment. They are probably working on improving their testnet and if there are any important information they always made an announcement on Twitter later on or posted in their Telegram group. I wouldn't be worried that they aren't tweeting on a daily basis at all. |

I don’t think Covalent needs to list on more exchanges, that’s going to make the trading price more volatile. Preferably they could gain more coverage by holding regular AMA and having more partners across industries. I hope to see Covalent internet protocol get adopted at mainnet release.
But more exchanges also means that the project might come in the focus of more traders. And I wouldn't say that more exchanges would lead to an increase in price volatility. |

Does the Neuralink card offer cashback on purchases? That would be a good way of attracting new users and encouraging them to convert crypto to fiat for purchasing everyday items and services.
yeah i liked their idea of the card cooperating with other banks like visa, cuz not all the places have a place where you can convert crypto to fiat easliy. A few companies have attempted to release their own fiat/crypto card or apps but I can not see a market leader. For example, there isn’t one notable card company that has perfected the crypto/fiat card, I guess there’s a lack of demand at present due to FUD and bear market but surely there is a huge market for this. There is definitely a huge market for crypto credit cards and in my opinions working crypto payment solutions that can be easily used in our every-day-life are key to more wider adoption. I know, all love HODL memes but if BTC and co. really want to become digital money, it must be easy to pay with it. |

No that's not what I meant. COVA isn't supposed to be a payment token at all. They want to introduce smart data. For example one-time-use credit card numbers (which could then be used for in-game-payments). and what money goes on the one time credit card? Fiat or crypto currencies? Covatoken or others? do i have to load the credit card on the Covaplattform? maybe it is already too late today, but somehow i don't understand this system I guess it's not a one-time credit card. And as far as I understand they want to introduce smart credit card numbers in general, not just for crypto credit cards. They posted something today. About a meeting with leaders from other blockchain projects. They would be talking on certain topics Yes, their co-founder will be part of a panel discussion about "application scenarios of Blockchain in game field". I am wondering how Cova can be used in the gaming field. I think it could be quite effective for in game payments since it would ensure the privacy of its users. Other than that I think they would fit perfectly for game platforms like steam and the likes. That's true. I didn't think of in-game payments. This could indeed be a good use case for Cova. But nevertheless, it would be nice to get a summary from the team from that panel discussion.
