I called them, and they told me that they didn't deliver bacause they don't work today evening and didn't have enough time :/

WTF Sad Shocked

@ct1aic
seems your hub cant provide enough power
yep... Now, I have 5 USB Gizmos on each HUB, with 3Amp PSU's... no more than 1% errors by now.

every time you unplug a miner, you get an zombie unit.
If you replug them it get another number.
Yes. And to "clean the zombies", we have to restart cgminer. It will start again from 0.

HW errors should be ~1% diff1 shares, afaik
Confirmed. They are all mining with more or less 1% of errors.

I think the errors of 1 USB Gizmo is related with the HUB. I took off the USB Gizmo in error, installed another and I started getting those errors in another one. The power supply is only 3Amp and is powering 6x500mA + RPI...

At home, I'll use 2 HUB's, each one with PSU of 3Amp.

It must be the HUB! I now have zombies...  Grin

I was getting this until I bought an anker 10 port usb hub

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker%C2%AE-Uspeed-10-Port-Adapter-Aluminum/dp/B007ZWFKX8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1374156565&sr=8-1&keywords=anker+10+port+usb+hub
Yep... your HUB comes with a 12V 4A PSU... more than good for up to 8 USB Gizmos or even more, depending on the DC-DC converter inside. I'll try with 2 HUB's, with 5V 3A PSU each... 5 USB Gizmos on each one.

Already received my 8 USB Block Erupters and a Casascius Coin. Outstanding support from BitAddict (and yxt).

Till now, I only tested 7 of the 8 USB Gizmos and one is presenting too many Hadware Errors (like 80 instead of 0 to 2 of all others, with 15 minutes of mining) but I have to analyze the problem at home prior to speak with BitAddict.

Already gave Positive Trusted Feedback.

Proof of reception:

432  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC FPGA GPU overc monit fanspd RPC linux/win/osx/mip/r-pi 3.3.1 on: July 16, 2013, 10:08:50 PM
Greetings.

I have a Alienware m14x with OS Windows 8 64 bits and 2 GPU's: Nvidea GeForce as default GPU and a Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU.

With Diablo-miner, it identifies the 2 GPU's but uses only the Nvidea GeForce GT650m (25 MH/s) (GPU Load 97%).

But with cgminer 3.3.1, it only uses the Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU, mining @ 11.8 MH/s (the Nvidea GPU load is 0%).

Is it possible for cgminer, to use both GPU's or even only the Nvidea GPU instead of the Intel one?

Many thanks in advance.

For nvidea use CUDA miner, cgminer is only for openCL devices...

CUDA miner is only for Litecoin, not for BTC (I think). But many thanks for your kind answer. I now understand why cgminer doesn't use the Nvidea GPU.

This is wrong. You can build cgminer for nvidia. The precompiled binaries are for ATI, but if you download the nvidia opencl SDK you should be able to build against it. I have done this on linux a long time ago, no idea about windows. You don't get any fan control or temperature monitoring.
Alas all of this is wrong.

All you need to do is add the following to your command: --gpu-platform 1

Ok, it worked. Many thanks, ckolivas.

Now, I can run 2 instances of cgminer, one is using the Intel GPU and another is using the Nvidea GPU.
Is there some sort of command for cgminer to use both platforms and see both GPU's in same instance?  Grin

After waiting all day for the package I called them, and they told me that they didn't deliver bacause they don't work today evening and didn't have enough time :/

Tomorrow I will go at 8am before delivery track leaves, so I can pick the package personally and ship to all of you in the same day.

I will keep you updated.
Those guys from DHL are really strange people...

Good luck and many thanks, my good friend.

P.S.
Don't forget to send the 8 USB Gizmos in all 4 colors, if possible and with the Casascius coin... (I'm really boring you, I know!)  Grin

I now intend to buy one of the new personalized bit-cards.

439  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Official ASICMINER Block Erupter Europe info & sale thread on: July 15, 2013, 03:37:36 PM
How come all other resellers were able to do everything right on time?
How come yxt can not speed up things and sort them out properly?
Some dudes decided to go with other parts of globe official resellers and received their units much earlier than people in Europe.
I'm not yxt's lawyer, but perhaps there are re-sellers with more available money for blind orders than yxt. For instance, one USA re-seller ordered some thousands of USB Block Erupters even before starting a group-buy.

It's my believe that yxt had to wait for the request / payment of the first USB Block Erupters @ new lower price from several group-buy  European organizers, before making the first order to Friedcat.
