421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin supports nuclear weapons in North Korea on: November 23, 2017, 08:02:48 AM
The topic is hilarious. Do you believe that a pennies on the return on the mining equipment investment will make North Korea build nuclear weapon? Actually it is better to (even if it is a government) invest in a long term investement rather than a short term weaponry? Does it?

Or maybe an OP thinks that North Korea can not invest into anything and they have to be super poor in order for them to not have additional nuclear weapon.

Most of the North Korea weaponry is either a soviet junk, or it is proven to be the western weaponry. Stop selling or giving them weapons if you are worried about them.

You clearly are ignorant of how North Korea and the sanctions work
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used to finance ISIS. Governments to step in on: November 23, 2017, 08:01:35 AM
What are you doing here freightjoe ?
You don't have Bitcoin and you don't like Bitcoin, yet you have registered to a Bitcoin forum?

What is your point?

I am seeking the objective truth.

And as shown in another thread in here that has already led to you admitting that you are OK with paying money to North Korea's nuclear weapons as long as that helps your Bitcoin investment

'You are seeking the truth' means you didn't find it yet. Right. So you think you'll find your truth by telling everybody how bad Bitcoin really is?Huh

No freightjoe, you are obv.  lying about your motives and have no clue about Bitcoin and you are obv. not looking for 'the truth', but you are only here to spread FUD. If you are a paid shill or just a poor guy with a mental issue can not be answered by me. You should know.

I can see you are perfectly happy with your financial support of the North Korean nuclear program
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sum of Bitcoin Forks Hits $10,000 --- five figures! on: November 23, 2017, 08:00:09 AM
We are getting serious here now, folks.

Any bitcoin that has been held since before Aug 1st is now worth over $10,000.

Pretty impressive, if you ask me.

Quote
Current Bitcoin Price = $10015.52 --- Includes Sum of Forks, Core $8253.47 + Cash $1495.53 + Gold $266.52

https://twitter.com/BitcoinTotalBot

Good observation. This makes it obvious that Bitcoin will break $10,000 very soon and it will be even higher when all those shitty fork coins lose the value that they should never had.

and of course this also very clearly shows why there is not a limited amount of Bitcoin, but an infinite amount. Bitcoin in reality goes far far above 21 million coins

What? There will only be 21 million Bitcoin. No more. You don't get it right. Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold are not Bitcoin, they are basically just another altcoin. They are in no way related to Bitcoin. 21 million BCH and 21 million BTG can't be associated with 21 million BTC. There can be infinite amount of altcoins but there will be only 21 million Bitcoin.

You are being very illogical here. You accept the addition of value of Bitcoin and the forks, but still claim that there can only be 21 million. But you have to count also the forked coins - and the number is unlimited as you can always create more forks, and thereby dilute value away from Bitcoin. De facto the number is unlimited.

I don't mind if NK would help to sustain the Bitcoin Network. Better than, like what they're actually doing: Using FIAT made from drugs they produce and sell worldwide.

Wow, so you are actually in favor of offering North Korea viable funding for more nuclear weapons.

I wonder what people in this forum from neighbouring countries are thinking about this, as they might well end of being hit by Kim Jung-Uns nuclear weapons

This is the correct way of calculating it

427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin used to finance ISIS. Governments to step in on: November 23, 2017, 07:26:31 AM
The key value proposition of Bitcoin is becoming clearer.

ISIS, and similar groups, are using it to fund their activities.

This is one of the key reasons why governments will step in and force regulation on Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies.

428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin supports nuclear weapons in North Korea on: November 23, 2017, 07:24:37 AM

. North Korea already has nuclear weapons (most likely not earned by Bitcoin mining), just like many other countries, like USA, China, Russia, France, Pakistan, India etc.

So you are OK with them getting more?

Them= All of the countries with WOMD = No. None of them should have them, but they do and Bitcoin is not going to change that.

Bitcoin is changing it for North Korea. They need to continue funding their program, and the anonymity of Bitcoin ensures they can do just that

430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin supports nuclear weapons in North Korea on: November 23, 2017, 07:13:39 AM
The anonymity of Bitcoin has made it into a major business for North Korea to do Bitcoin mining.

Every buyer and user of Bitcoin is therefore helping to pay for North Korea's nuclear weapons

If you have Bitcoin, look at yourself and ask whether you are OK with giving North Korea nuclear weapons

431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon has it. Tesla has it. Apple had it. on: November 23, 2017, 07:06:17 AM

Do you understand Bit Torrent? Do you understand Linux? Do you understand decentralization at all?

Yes, yes and yes, but clearly your understanding, Scotty boy, will - at best - be limited to techno issues.

But this is not about technology. This is about economics and social structures where the Bitcoin experiment is already unravelling - Roger Ver is only the beginning of the unravelling, you will see more and more such splintering and more internal civil wars as the techno-types in Bitcoin are increasingly marginalized and the greedy finance types look to cash in on it
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon has it. Tesla has it. Apple had it. on: November 23, 2017, 07:02:30 AM

I wouldn't doubt that he's on the take by Ver and company.

Roger, is that you?Huh

Not enough tinfoil for your hat today Scotty boy?

Clearly you are not capable of logical deduction, but only thinks in terms of "Bitcoin is good" and "Arguments against bitcoin cannot be true and must be driven by a sinister conspiracy".
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Look how fast Bitcoin is moving on: November 23, 2017, 06:58:57 AM

Thinking positive to the things that you invested is a must but fooling someone else is bad

So what you are saying is that as long as you are only fooling yourself it is OK. Why do you allow yourself to be fooled?
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin = Fiat on: November 23, 2017, 06:56:06 AM
The Bitcoin followers keep saying the Bitcoin is a new currency.

If that is the case then by definition it is fiat.

When it is fiat, then we will see inflation and breaking the 21million limit.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bubble on: November 23, 2017, 06:01:22 AM
Bitcoin now is too big for a bubble or the risk is ever the same?

"too big for a bubble"? No, it is different - as it grows bigger faster, the bubble is expanding further which means that the crash will also be bigger

I don't think bitcoin is in a bubble but what can happen is that countries regulating
bitcoin or even worse placing a ban on it.

I guess that is the only way the bubble will burst.

First you say it is not a bubble - but then you say the governments can burst the bubble.

Clearly you are in denial. You know it is a bubble, but you are just hoping that it will not be popped.

It will.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bubble on: November 23, 2017, 05:59:56 AM
Bitcoin is never a balloon. a real payment system.
But how many users are actually using bitcoin as payment system?
I think there are much more people who invested money in bitcoin just because they heard or read somewhere that it will go to moon. I can't imagine what would happen when those investors decide to get out.

You are correct - unfortunately it is too easy to imagine what will happen.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to launch Wechat coin on: November 23, 2017, 05:58:08 AM

Not stomping my feet... just pointing out what an idiot you are. I'd wager that I'm either older than you or close to the same age, so nice try.
I am quite comfortable in life and will leave it at that.

Scotty boy, more stomping of feet. How very mature of you.

If you are so comfortable, then why the need to constantly stomp your feet? Clearly you display the typical insecurity about your choices that is often seen in adolescents which often manifests itself in the need to constantly reassure an audience that you are happy with your choices.

438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked on: November 23, 2017, 05:54:11 AM
This is bonehead security 101 stuff, did you post this just to create FUD?

If you have Bitcoin then:

- Clearly you should fear hackers
- Clearly there is uncertainty and doubt in terms of whether you can trust the exchanges and the wallet providers

Religiously invoking the word "FUD" as if that would make the problems go away is downright irresponsible
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Look how fast Bitcoin is moving on: November 23, 2017, 05:51:51 AM
Can you point out the lack of logic in some people's posting without resorting to illogical ramblings yourself?  Namely the attempts to claim that forks increase the supply, or the certain claims (not even tentative) about what will happen in the future?

Curious - your very sentence where you call for logic is illogical. Hence is would seem odd for you to accuse people of lacking logic when clearly you do not posses it. Forks do increase supply of cryptocoins, that is just a basic fact. Perfectly logical. Crashing bubbles have been seen many times before and are extremely well documented with recent ones such as the dotcom bubble and the housing/finance bubble being very clear and logical. That bubbles will also happen in the future is recognized by the entire community of all logical economists. Seems you want everyone else to adhere to your alternative form of logic.

It's getting really tedious.  You haven't responded to my points in your other threads either.

Yes it is tedious to have to explain something over and over again to you, but when you lack logic (as proven above) it is a futile exercise.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to launch Wechat coin on: November 22, 2017, 05:01:44 PM
China's direction in this is clear.

Early in 2018 they will launch a blockchain based coin linked with wechat and allied with Alibaba. Because it will be instantly useable to more than a billion people for all daily shopping actitivites it will quickly spread beyond China and become the dominant coin.

Also, all the miners located in China will switch to the wechat coin, leaving the other coins with huge problems.

it seems that btc is gonna die soon... Roll Eyes
i don't think that china will stop to mine and/or trade btc or other crypto....they can't be separate from all the rest of the world

true - they cannot be seperate, but they want to control the tools the world is going to use
