421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Polkadot and Uniswap Survive? on: August 19, 2021, 09:22:25 AM
obviously both will survive. The strength of these two coins is uniswap and polka dot is very strong, don't assume they will lose. I see them getting even bigger in the future. and their team will continue to provide significant developments to the token's journey in the cryptocurrency world

Today the two coins do not have good potential in the market, what do you think?

Indeed, Polkadot and Uniswap coins can be said to be good, but not in the near future, I see both of them will provide the best value in the next year, this is if you look at the potential in the market and analyze it.

Actually we often associate these coins with the developments made by the Team and the promotions they continue to do, but on further study, none of them are able to provide the best value, do you think this will work?
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto on: August 18, 2021, 11:37:29 AM
Here i am going to discussed worst cases. Because lot of people adopting to Crypto space and some getting more and some ended up with nothing.

back 2017 i have no experience and new so some execution not got timely.

My worst experience was Not exit at the correct time. there was a ICO it gave me 10X.  (6500USD) but i did not exit at the correct time so it went for 400usd.

I sent ETH to unknown escrow. 200$ lost. scammers

Not aware of USDT. Its a very bad experience.

Not concern about Technical analysis.

so today i have massive experience so i know how to play the game. Lets share experiences so enrich newbies knowledge.

Cheers

This is why the crypto world cannot be forced if you do not have good knowledge, there are many ways to lose money here, whether intentional or not, this can be overcome if knowledge of crypto already exists in that person, I think this is a natural thing to happen to anyone.

Especially now that there are many projects that are fraudulent in nature without being able to analyze properly, almost everyone has experienced it, both in large and small amounts, but whatever we have experienced, it is not a reason to just stop.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: August 18, 2021, 11:21:37 AM
Today, the tether continues to print 250 million tether, raising the tether's market capitalization to more than $ 2.7 billion to reach the top 10 coinmarketcap. People say that every time a tether is printed, the bitcoin price increases because the tether pumped USDT onto the floor to push the bitcoin price. What do you think about this and keep the USDT safe?

The condition of USDT greatly affects Bitcoin at this time, both of them are interconnected in taking care of each other, if you look at the condition of the development of the teaters who continue to pump USDT, it can be seen clearly, that they depend on each other to take care of each other.

This life continues until the initial concept is run well between Bitcoin and USDT, now this condition greatly affects the value of other coins, in terms of maintaining the buy and sell value, but this dependence needs to be maintained and refined in the future.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is not a rival of Bitcoin on: August 18, 2021, 10:25:06 AM

Bitcoin is simple unlike the complexity of services available on Ethereum, its simplicity and store-of-value label makes it an investment in that sense.
Ethereum has greater use, an incredibly vast ecosystem, and could potentially have far greater value in the future.

But to replace Bitcoin is not easy, Bitcoin is the reference for any coin at this time, to become a competitor is quite difficult and almost no one can do it, indeed at this time the market response is very good for ethereum, but that does not mean ethereum can replace bitcoin just like that .

If we talk about the future, then there is no certainty to replace it, if today we analyze the development of bitcoin, even the analysis must be based on past and present references, thus giving birth to studies that are not based on our own thoughts, how can bitcoin be replaced.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria to launch its crypto currency after crypto ban on: August 18, 2021, 09:21:03 AM
On February 5, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) released a circular addressed to banks and other financial institutions with the directive that transactions in cryptocurrencies and facilitating payment for cryptocurrency exchanges were prohibited.

A news was published on the popular country news paper were the CBN president ( Central bank of Nigeria)  was analyzing on their plan to launch new digital currency which he called the E-naira. Full news here : https://www.usnews.com/news/technology/articles/2021-07-27/nigeria-to-launch-digital-currency-e-naira-in-oct-central-bank
Since the ban of crypto on the country no exchange has ever been able to execute a fair transaction to citizens account, which makes most of the exchange popularly used by the citizens has made move to launch and active P2P trade to enable the citizens trade successfully.

My questions here is, the county launching it's digital currency does it means that they have accept and approve the use of cryptocurrency?

What's do you think about their decision, do you think it will have great impact on crypto?

So far we still see that all countries have not agreed on the pattern of crypto being applied in a country, but Nigeria is starting to try to adopt the pattern that is currently being done by crypto, although they do it differently, but this pattern is a way to keep pace with the growth and development of crypto.

Nigeria tries to restrict its citizens from fully using this pattern, thus forcing them to give up their own digital currency to maintain its stability, in this case it is indeed a good idea for the country to start opening its own digital money, to keep its citizens from making transactions.

So far, crypto has not had a big impact with Nigeria's implementation and prohibition, in fact one day crypto can work well with various countries that are starting to open up space for digital money.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Marketing a new exchange on: August 17, 2021, 11:46:06 AM
Hello Bitcoin Folks!

I am working on a p2p trading platform that lets you trade altcoins, including small cap coins too. This is our goal at least.

We're facing some resistance with marketing in mainstream platforms like reddit, twitter, youtube.
It seems that none of these sites want anything to do with us unless we have a minimum 10K ad spend per quarter.
The problem is that we're still in prototype stage and don't even know if we're targeting the right audience.

What is the best option in this case? Should we just bite the bullet and try it out, or should we continue community building?
Community building has been going fine so far, but the results we are seeing are .... just not significant enough. It's growing linearly, its a grind but maybe this is the way it's supposed to be.

I would love to hear some thoughts, is someone has tried something similar.
Are we doomed or is there hope in this product?

Thanks!

Community development improvements are needed to support the smooth running of the project you are working on, this needs to be prepared carefully, to look for gaps in the improvement.

After that, it's just a matter of determining the right target audience in the promotion pattern, indeed there are many obstacles that we will experience in this situation, but don't give up before everything is successful, it's not a process of teaching us to keep fighting in the present and the future.

Twitter, Reddit and Yutube are very appropriate marketing media for now, you just need to brush up on some team strategies to reach the level of success you are looking for, this doesn't look easy, but if you have a good team, everything can be done easily and precisely. time.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Polkadot and Uniswap Survive? on: August 17, 2021, 11:23:30 AM
Polkadot and Uniswap are both present in the crypto market in 2020. As a relatively new coin in the market, many are asking and thinking whether they will survive in the midst of the great old coins?
In January 2021 Uniswap slowly rose in price from $4.9. While Polkadot also experienced an increase in the same month and year by $5. The market continues to run and they are also holding on to prices not much different (Polkadot $27, Uniswap $29). Their rankings on the coinmarketcap list are also close together (DOT #9, UNI #11).
*source: https://coinmarketcap.com/
Let's discuss

The presence of Polkadot and Uniswap was precisely at a time when market conditions were unstable, but these two coins were able to adapt to the level of difficulty at that time, when it came to coins that were relatively new and currently had many competitors, then Polkadot and Uniswap actually managed to maintain themselves in coinmarketcap.

This reason is quite real, to make us believe in the continuity of the two coins in the future, even if today the value of both is not quite perfect seen, then it is not impossible in the future this coin is more stable than other coins, Polkadot's presence with Uniswap is actually an alternative new for people to invest.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make your HODL or dump decisions? on: August 17, 2021, 10:54:24 AM
I've been holding this token called 'SUBX' for a while now, maybe a month. Quite a big bag of it. I'm not sure if I should continue holding or let go and take what i have.

I believe in the project, but it hasn't been doing well in terms of price.
Utility wise, they already have 4 apps released and doing work with universities so I am confident it won't be a rug pull.
Reflections are delicious and community is nice.

But whales that bought during presale got impatient and left, and with the market bleeding past few weeks the price is slowly declining. Team says they are looking long-term with real utility (which they do deliver) but that doesn't directly relate to price does it?

Some words of advice would be really good. Thanks.

If you hold a token, the most appropriate step is to first analyze the selling value, whether the current selling value is greater than the current buy value, after that you have to observe the market, how the fate of the token will be this year or in the coming year.

If you've done it right, then the conclusion that you have to do is obvious, if indeed the team says they are looking for the long term, maybe you need to be patient to let go, this is actually more profitable for you than letting go now.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Axie Infinity farming on: August 17, 2021, 10:29:41 AM
Does anyone use auto battle bots for Axie Infinity? There is some solutions on github. I know about bans, but maybe there is some tips to avoid it?

If you are ready to accept the consequences of the ban, then you definitely take this opportunity, but the level of risk you accept will be commensurate with the prohibition, you need to pay attention to previous solutions rather than taking risks.

There are many ways to trick or use auto encounter bots for Axie Infinity, but I think it will be caught in the end in avoiding cheating, this is a bigger problem that will be faced in the future, I do not advise you to do this.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is not a rival of Bitcoin on: August 16, 2021, 08:49:56 AM
The comparison of the value of etherum and bitcoin is very far, the price of one BTC is $ 45,975 and one Etherum is $ 3,152 (15 August 2021, 16:53:00). Etherum is far behind BTC, although Etherum’s current popularity is great, unfortunately Etherum still can’t be the first in the market. what do you think?

For the future ethereum is still difficult to replace bitcoin, but the market response to ethereum is very good for now, many even speculate that ethereum will replace bitcoin in the future.

Indeed, nothing is impossible in the crypto world, but in this case I still doubt the speculation, there is no reason why bitcoin is difficult to replace at this time, but the process carried out by bitcoin is a very good improvement for the future, it is natural that bitcoin is difficult to match when this.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Honest opinion poll about the potential of NFT on: August 16, 2021, 08:32:41 AM
Hi all,

Let's do a honest opinion poll about the potential of NFT.

Question - what the future holds for NFT?

In my personal experience, I have received mixed reactions from different type of people on this same question. So I want to know the view of this community.

Vote on!

I see that NFT's condition is very good in the future, today NFT is preparing a good future project, especially in the field of games, this project is the result of the adoption of various games that complete more fully their current advantages.

People are getting bored with the previous games, where playing games was just a hobby but not able to provide real financial benefits, the presence of NFT is a good step for people in the future, with the reason playing games and can make money.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Convince me that bounties paying in anything other than Bitcoin are worth it on: August 16, 2021, 08:08:21 AM
I want to know how much you guys are earning with these bounties that offer "stakes" for doing certain tasks because I am not convinced that they are legitimate. Here is why I think that. Lets say you did a signature campaign paying in their coin that is currently worth nothing but you put in hours of work to get this token with the anticipation that it might be worth something at some point. However as soon as it is worth something all the other participants in that signature campaign will be thinking the same thing. Withdraw. That then causes a dump effect on the token and you are back to it being worthless again.

I am 100% sure that most bounties today have the same teams behind them and they continue to do the same process each time in an attempt of being successful once out of the million times they have tried before. In modern times we have become accustomed to minimum wages or at least fair wages but you guys are doing work for nothing at the time of completing your work on the promise that they will be worth something down the line. Would you work for a company in the fiat world if they promised you to give you shares in their company without any guarantee that they would be successful?

I just do not understand why people would want to work for free without any guarantees at all. If you are really unlucky you could spend 1000s of hours doing work for these bounties and profit nothing. I am interested in hearing about your experience with these bounties and how much you profit when it comes to withdrawing the tokens.

Everyone has their own opinion in making decisions, but what you say is very contrary to what we do in the bounty world, indeed to participate in the bounty campaign we don't need to spend money, but here we learn responsibility and follow the applicable rules.

If there is an option to participate in a free project that generates maximum income, why take the risk of buying some coins, the bargaining value of which is unclear at this time, besides the results of the bounty we can also use for a long time, either investing short or long term.

I don't think what you're saying is relevant at all. In fact, many bounty participants also invest after giving tokens from the project proceeds, I think you need to change the way you think and value things.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cardano missing staked on moonstake on: August 16, 2021, 07:34:21 AM
anyone had coins completely vanish? today all my coins vanished on moonstake in the app, did a restore on web and the app and still nothing, transactions are normal just nothing there.....

It's weird if coins just disappear, I almost never hear about it, usually people lose coins for some reason, email can't be logged in, the wallet can't be used anymore, or the application you use can't log back in.

Also, you mentioned that there is no transaction at all on moonstake, I think this problem is your own fault, try logging in again with the correct email, if this doesn't work, ask for the forgotten password to be re-sent to the linked email.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: August 15, 2021, 06:31:11 PM
According to the present market scenario, several good currencies, such as XRP, TRX, and others, are decreasing due to various causes.I recommend investing at least $10,000 in XRP, TRX, and other similar currencies, since these coins will soon yield a significant profit margin.

I still doubt XRP and TRX can generate significant profit margins this year, basically the market is not in good shape for the coins you mention, for now the opportunities for TRX and XRP are very unlikely.

But I agree if you say that in the next 2 or 3 years XRP and TRX have a good chance in the market, this is more relevant if you look at the analysis carried out by several experts regarding the development of XRP and TRX.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When sell holding alt coin in profit? on: August 15, 2021, 06:14:07 PM
When should long-held alt coins be sold? When to sell even when we are in profit? That doesn't make sense. Let me know if there is a suitable alternative to this issue.

If you ask when is the right time to sell old coins, this is a question that really doesn't need to be answered, because everyone can clearly know when is the right time to sell the coins we have. But since you've asked this on the forum, then I'm obligated to answer it.

First, the right time to sell the coins you have is when the market conditions are good.
Second, when the coin price increases significantly from the previous purchase price.
Third, you can do all this after analyzing the coin and the current market conditions.

If you get this opportunity, then it's a good time to sell the coins you have.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Trading for Some Digital Coins Banned in Thailand, Including on: August 15, 2021, 05:54:12 PM
Thailand has become the latest country in Asia, after China, to restrict trading in the highly speculative cryptocurrencies and the non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued new regulations that ban certain types of digital coins, including meme currencies like Dogecoin.
It said the ban is aimed at protecting traders from tokens that have "no clear objective or substance" and whose prices are influenced by social media trends and online influencers. The ban also includes “fan tokens” that are riding on the popularity of the celebrities they are influenced by.

So far only two countries have started to restrict cryptocurrency trading, this is due to the impact of the previous ban, but so far the ban has not had a major impact on crypto itself, although the conditions of this ban affect several other countries.

If the reason for the ban is to protect fiat from the influence of crypto, I think the ban is completely irrelevant, each country has its own rules for fiat, in carrying out its functions and uses, so far I think the big impact has not been seen at all.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull market in the currency market is about to start on: August 11, 2021, 08:09:10 AM
We judge an industry has prospects from three perspectives usually.
Firstly, whether there is a favorable macro-rising policy.
The bull market in the cryptocurrency market in 2020 has benefited from the quantitative easing of the United States, the continued spread of the epidemic, and the United States has a relatively large trade deficit with China. It is possible that the probability of raising interest rates by 2023.

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-senate-inches-toward-passing-1-trillion-infrastructure-bill-2021-08-09/
Secondly  What are the development prospects of the industry and what social problems the industry can solve?
Bitcoin was born to solve the inflation problem of the dollar, and many holders are to preserve its value. Nowdays many countries are introducing various regulatory policies, not for prohibition. Many large listed companies are deploying blockchain digital currencies one after another, and the industry has a bright future.
The third aspect, what is the economic cycle of the industry, and what is the leading benchmark of the industry now?
We can refer the development history of Bitcoin. After the upgrade of Ethereum, there is a deflation mechanism. In the future, even the overall market value of Ethereum will surpass Bitcoin.

Brazil launched a brand new Bitcoin ETF.

Today's cryptocurrency market is a global market, and a collapse is impossible! I believe that the bull market in the currency market is about to start.

Macro policy is very dependent on the results obtained at this time, the current deficit in the US is very decisive for the survival of the crypto world, considering the birth of bitcoin is a solution to the trade, economic and social deficit itself.

Moreover, social value is very influential with the current economic improvement, this cannot be separated from the birth of bitcoin to solve some of these social problems, the economy greatly determines the investment sector today.

If the economic problem is not stable, then bitcoin is the best solution for now, as well as ethereum both have the same function, only the way it works is different, but in general both have similarities in the relationship in crypto itself.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Taking Profits on Altcoins Strategy on: August 11, 2021, 07:45:51 AM
I am looking to take some profits on my altcoins after the next big pump. Need some advice if my strategy is good or not. I'm based in the US.

1. When I start to take profits from my altcoins do I just sell them on the exchange for dollars and then buy stablecoins with that? Or do I somehow trade the alts for stables? Does is matter since selling or trading them are taxed for capital gains regardless?

2. Once I take the profits in stablecoins, is putting them on something like Blockfi to gain interest the best thing to do while I wait for another dip to possibly reinvest them?

3. Once the bull run is over I'm most likely going to keep all my bitcoin and probably most of my Ethereum. I'll sell most of my alts for stablecoins but keep small bags of the ones I want to keep through the bear market. Is this a sound strategy?

4. During the bear market is taking a cash loan using my crypto as collateral (BTC and ETH) a good way to defer capital gains taxes? Won't I have to pay these taxes eventually? I know there are drawbacks to this strategy but it seems like a lot of experienced people do this.

5. After the bull run should I just put my stablecoins in something like Blockfi during the bear market? Or is cashing out to dollars and investing in something like real estate a good way to defer capital gains taxes?

I know these are a lot of questions but any advice is greatly appreciated, this forum has been extremely helpful for a noob that has been in the space for about 4 months now. Thanks!

I think you are very ambitious in achieving the target you want, so you start investing with a perfect profit goal, even though you are trying to balance your investment with current conditions, this is indeed a good thing to apply in investing, but what I fear you will unable to control it.

I think you need to pay attention to good altcoins, or look at the condition of bitcoin, ethereum and others, if you can maximize this, in the future your investment will generate considerable profits.
But don't forget to calculate every risk that will occur, both now and in the future, the rest is good and perfect.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Makes Meme Coins, What Do You Think? on: August 11, 2021, 07:29:27 AM
Elon Musk started to be talked about in the last few months, after making speculations about dogecoin at the time on Twitter, someone suggested Elon Musk create his own coin, to develop something new and a huge opportunity for him, this is understandable when all that happened, considering what happened done is speculation about its influence in the crypto world.

What is the best step, to make this wish come true?
What are Elon Musk's chances in your opinion?

The desire you mean almost everyone has the ambition to do it, but speaking of opportunities not everyone has it, this is why Elon Musk made a coin more reasonable for us to accept.

Even if this is being developed and serious about doing it, it takes a team or people who want to work together to make this a success, for that I think Elon Musk is not so difficult to find, what you need to know to make coins and promote them is not an easy thing.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: August 10, 2021, 08:20:07 AM
no this is impossible if crypto can replace fiat. crypto can only resemble fiat but for fully fiat transactions it is still the main and can be said to be one of the most important

That's right, there's no way crypto can replace fiat, this would be very impossible and strange, crypto can't resemble fiat in the same sense, but they can replace fiat in a different sense, especially when it comes to transactions, it's definitely full fiat priority.

It's impossible to just change, let alone start planning, current transactions still really need Full fiat even though people say different things, but in my view it's unlikely that this will change.
