421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: October 03, 2023, 09:41:24 AM
Because the trading bot has a risk, if you set it up wrong, you won't make any profit. But I haven't tried that yet, and I don't want to try either because I know it's not profitable. Most people here in the crypto community also know that.

I don't know how the trading bot became profitable when so few say it is profitable. So, meaning, hype is what happens for someone to try the trading bot; this is just my observation.
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any methods to do it? on: October 03, 2023, 09:29:08 AM
I am in crypto for a few years and i have good knowledge of the crypto markets and their behavior. For the past few years, I am mostly invested in some top crypto project and held it till I get decent profits. You can say i am a holder. Now i want to try something different. I want to try day trading methods to generate a daily income from the spot market.

Is that even possible to earn 50$-100$ every day with spot trading? If yes then what methods you are using and how do you manage your risk?

In my experience, when I do day trading, usually on the spot, the amount I use is around 30 to 50 dollars. During the whole day, my time frame is only 1 hour and is often extended because there are no changes in movement. , so overall in 1 day it is around 2-3$, but depending on wild volatility, it can be higher than that.

So, I think that if 50$-100$ profit a day is a large amount you need to use in day trading, it depends on your skills and understanding of trading. That means it's not easy to earn that in one day just for my assessment.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins (Pepes project)? on: October 03, 2023, 09:08:25 AM
Most of the people who commented on this section said they hated meme coins. I remember when Pepe Coin was starting this year, there were a lot of people saying that you would waste your money on Pepe Coin when it was still in the sales stage of tokens. Then, a few days or weeks later, the market cap suddenly increased.

All of a sudden it was listed early on Binance. The majority who said that Pepe coin is a shit coin underestimated Pepe before, and when it was suddenly included in the top coins, those who said that Pepe coin is shit are speechless. Sometimes the problem with us is that others just remind us, but there is judgment and underestimation of coins. Didn't the same happen with Shiba Inu? Many people said that it was a shit coin. What happened? Shame on those who judged these meme coins.

What is my point? In our industry, there are crypto hunters, bounty hunters, and meme coin hunters; it's up to you where you are.
Because any of these 3 you can able to profit depending on how will going to investigate in it.

Unfortunately for me, since wala naman akong holdings ay malamang wala din profit. 😅

425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs the government on: October 02, 2023, 05:45:23 AM
Bitcoin is indeed decentralized as we all know it but government will try to find a way or something like that. Honestly, there's a wallet provider in my country that is custodial and it is also an exchange where I can buy and sell crypto and it is regulated by the government bank even some e wallet in my country also accept cryptocurrency now which is good for us so we can directly sell it and transfer to bank account or to cash when in need of cash.

That's why the decentralized nature of Bitcoin is the reason that the governments that want to control it hate it. That's why sometimes we see other countries immediately block the innovation proposal that is introduced in their country. Because what the government wants is immediate personal interest.

But even so, no matter what the government does, what they want to happen will not happen. Maybe what can happen in the end is that they accept the fact that they will adapt Bitcoin to the benefit of their country and the people.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What encouraged your continuity in Bitcoin investment and Bitcointalk forum? on: October 02, 2023, 05:29:44 AM
I can't deny that this forum platform provides an opportunity not only for extra income but also for the knowledge and opinions that other communities provide here on the topic in question. There are only two things to discourage or encourage anyone entering this platform.

If there are others who no longer continue in this forum, maybe their goal is to get a job here by participating in the signature campaign that will be paid every week. When they saw that they had to rank up their account here, they discovered it was not that easy to do now because of the merit requirements. And if they participate in bounty altcoins, there is no guarantee that they will be paid, or maybe there is something else.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: October 02, 2023, 05:17:31 AM
i dont think any gambler will intentionally want their kid to see them doing it. kids learn so fast and when they see their parent doing it they also want to try. its good to take caution and be very careful sometimes these kids might be watching their parents without them knowing and then they go to start practising behind them. one thing about children is that the like to practise what they see and if they see it constantly, it gives them confidence to want to try it.

That's why it's better not to show it to children, because when children see something new in their eyes, curiosity will immediately exist to find out about it, and they won't realize it until they get what they want. So it's really right not to show it only in gambling.

Of course, there are other things that will not bring them good things, and whatever things are not good, let them understand or teach them correctly that it is not good for young people like them to do; that's just the way it is easy to do if we care about them.
428  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 02, 2023, 05:05:03 AM

This is my first time experiencing restrictions to a casino bonuses and other benefits for a loyal casino player. I become extremely lucky to this certain casino that makes me have a 20/20 winning percentage to all my deposit that ranging from 100% to 200% of my original deposit including the bonuses.

I'm expecting this restriction to happened to me since casino will surely doesn't allowed anyone consistently winning. I view this punishment as compliment since it's very rare to defeat a casino.

Playing without any VIP and bonus benefits on a casino is pretty dull because this feature gives player extra boost to our profitability. I decided to leave the casino and register to new one that gives me bonus. I'm just curious on why casino offer a bonus that they can't handle once user keeps winning using this. They can adjust the requirements to make it more competitive instead of removing all the benefits to user just because he keeps winning. It's not player problem if he is very lucky.

Sharing this experience to be an eye opener that we can't have a consistent profit on a casino without being restricted. Just enjoy the game and don't focus much on profit. In the end, I decided to just focus on trading and rest on gambling.

I just noticed that when they notify you, it says that you can't participate in any tournaments that they will have. Why do you always participate in their tournaments and always win this event? I'm just asking. And obviously, you are also a long-time gambler or casino player.

But for me, it's okay, and that happened to you because you yourself decided to focus on trading instead of gambling, and this step you took can be said to really make sense.

430  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino repeated live payout results on: October 01, 2023, 08:07:48 AM

I saw something that caught my attention. I've recently been curious about the live payout displays in online casinos and wanted to gather some insights from the community. It seems that sometimes, when observing these live payouts, there are instances of repeated results, and I'm wondering if this is normal or if there might be something more to it. my question here is
1.Have you observed repeated IDs and payouts while playing in online casinos, and do you think these patterns are a cause for concern?
2.Are these displays genuinely based on real-time data, or could there be instances of manipulation or programmed repetition?
Some how I feel these data aren't updated and are only programmed so as to attract more players into using their casino.

You omitted to specify which casino you were alluding to. Although I missed what you were saying, it's likely that may happen if the casino has unfavorable plans for the people using their gaming platform in the future.

However, I don't believe that a reputable casino can accomplish what you think, as what you described in the topic you did, if the casino is already well-known in this area and there are already sizable communities developed in the cryptocurrency business.
431  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake Balance Glitch on: October 01, 2023, 07:56:15 AM
I had $1389. was playing plinko...
I was busy doing something so I was just looking at my balance occasionally to make sure i was still over $1,000...

well, it said I was at $1389
but it then said I didn't have enough funds to make my bet.

Do you mean that your $1389 is now out of your balance on the casino platform? because you said you couldn't bet, right? Do you have a screenshot that proves before you knew that there was a problem with your balance?

I hope you can show some evidence that what you are saying is credible somehow, and have you contacted their support about this problem you are facing with their casino gambling platform? if you have replied? What did they tell you about the problems you told them anyway?
432  Economy / Economics / Re: You can't meet all your needs/desires at once, even if you spend all your salary on: October 01, 2023, 07:46:04 AM
There is a difference between needs and wants.  In most cases, the needs should be satisfied first, and wants can be ignored.  The needs are essential for surviving while wants are just luxuries.  Depending on the capability of a person especially his wage capacity, most needs can't even be met, even basic needs are hard to meet these days due to price inflation.  So it is better to look for another source of income if we want to satisfy ourseleves and meet the extra baggage (wants) in life.

That is why you can't meet all your wants even if you use all of your salary. The more you fuel your wants the more they burn meaning if you buy a new phone because it is the latest and new to the market you will still not be satisfied after a new phone is released after a week and it will continue the cycle.

People are shaken already now because of the price of food or anything that you need to buy. That is why others tend to not easily buy their wants and they already knew that they would struggle if they prioritized their wants first. Unless you have extra money that you don't know how to spend or you are rich then for sure they are still going for their wants instead of their needs.
If we can control ourselves from our desires then the income we earn will be sufficient for us, but if we follow our desires too often then whatever income we get will certainly make us unable to save let alone invest from the salary we have. Being able to control our desires will indeed be very easy if we hear it from motivators, but to do it all depends on our own personality, we need to work hard to be able to do it. You are right that people who have a lot of wealth buy things not for their needs but because they need recognition from people that they can have it and it doesn't matter how much money they spend.

If a person is an employee and has no other family to help, he can buy the things he wants to buy that are covered based on his salary, of course. But if you are the breadwinner in a family, his salary is definitely not enough, and of course he will prioritize the things they need in their daily lives. And it's not easy to budget a salary if you all shoulder all the bills in your family.

You will lose time to prioritize the things you want to buy for yourself because you will prioritize your family, unless your salary is really big for a month. It's like, you make sure to yourself that everything you spend will go to something important.
433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FTX Claim deadline Sept 29 2023 on: October 01, 2023, 07:36:51 AM
Is that correct? If that's the case, has anyone been able to demonstrate that FTX victims have already gotten or obtained their long-awaited monies from FTX? It's almost as though I haven't seen anything that demonstrates they have regained their money that they invested into FTX but did not withdraw.

I sincerely hope that it can be fixed properly and that the funds of those who did not withdraw their funds from the Ftx platform are rightly restored. This is the only thing what I had found actually https://www.theinformation.com/articles/ftx-investors-are-back-in-the-spotlight-as-victims
434  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had AI day trade bitcoin to make profits on: October 01, 2023, 07:07:00 AM
I have no experience trading with AI, and I have no plans or intentions to use it because I am still more comfortable trading in a natural way because it is different for us to witness and feel things that we do not yet understand in actual trading itself on an exchange.

Then again, I haven't read or seen anything that testifies that there is a lot of community here in the crypto space. AI trading is proven and tested, right?
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 30, 2023, 07:09:14 AM
i dont think any gambler will intentionally want their kid to see them doing it. kids learn so fast and when they see their parent doing it they also want to try. its good to take caution and be very careful sometimes these kids might be watching their parents without them knowing and then they go to start practising behind them. one thing about children is that the like to practise what they see and if they see it constantly, it gives them confidence to want to try it.

We also know what adults do, and when children see it, they will certainly imitate it. That's why, if we have anything to show the child, make sure it's for the good and will benefit them in the future. Children who are still young at times like this are full of curiosity when they see something new in their eyes.

That's why, as an adult or parent, the guidance given to them can be properly explained so that even if we don't see them, they will understand that gambling is not good when it is done incorrectly. It's okay to make it a hobby or for fun as long as you know how to control it. As far as their understanding is concerned, they will understand it for sure.
436  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 30, 2023, 06:59:09 AM
It's up to you whether you continue using their platform to gamble if you see that in their TOS right away. Because it looks bad when you read their toss and then whine when you take back what you won. You almost seem to be deluding yourself.

However, if you gamble without seeing it in the toss, and then there is a sudden kyc when you withdraw, you can calm down and stop griping until they unexpectedly added a policy like that to their toss. You can decide whether you don't have anything against it after reading their regulations.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin always fight back on: September 30, 2023, 06:48:49 AM
When I think of the few Bitcoin I have, it gives me joy.

For the past 2years I have been into cryptocurrency, I have come to understand that Bitcoin doesn't just give you value, it also gives you security, even last year February when i was just a few month old in experience, when the Ukraine Russian war drove down the price of Bitcoin to 15k most people lost hope. people where saying all sorts of discouraging word about Bitcoin and the crypto industry, I still have faith, and Bitcoin proves me right, he rallies back without remorse.

All In all,
All what Bitcoin have been through from the hand SEC, government and external issues that affected it,
It still stands strong,
one of the best gift we can give to our children as inheritance is to accormulate as much Bitcoin as possible, because after now, the value will be priceless. Bitcoin is here too stay because it's the future of money

The investor should not be in the habit of regretting the investment, because an investor knows what he is buying and believes why he will do it. Just like with Bitcoin, what is the reason why so many people are attracted to investing in it? First, its network is really secure because it is decentralized and also because of the blockchain technology it has.

And you shouldn't have doubts when you invest in it; you should have 100% trust and belief in it because it's your asset, and that's normal. It's abnormal if you invest in it and then you have doubts about it; in short, it's called stupidity. It seems that Bitcoin is simply proven and tested and has stood the test of time.
438  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is this the path you should take to become successful? on: September 30, 2023, 06:38:17 AM
"In order to be successful, you have to find out what makes you excited. What makes you wanna get up each morning and go to work? If you love what you do and dedicate yourself to your work, you will gain that momentum and each success will create another success. Never quit, never give up. Do something you love. When you do something that you love, you'll never fail. What you are going to do is give it a shot again and again and again. You're ultimately going to be successful." - Donald John Trump

Some say he's an Idiot but something he says sometimes makes sense. LOL. What do you think about it? Is it some way to manipulate people or that's the right thing to do?

You must travel through the succeeding road in order to be successful, and what is in the term succeed is hurdles, failures, sufferings, and more that will torture you before you achieve in the end. And most people understand how difficult it is to attain.

There are no shortcuts to success; everything takes effort. Because this will be our testimony when the time comes to bear testimony about the difficulties we have conquered in life. To succeed, you must also be ready, strong, and, most importantly, persistent, as some say.
439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can 1 satoshi be worth $1 in the future? on: September 30, 2023, 06:22:48 AM
The minimum TX fee for Bitcoin is one satoshi. Now, imagine if market prices keep going up until 1 BTC is worth $100m. This means 1 satoshi will be worth $1 (USD). Do you think there's a possibility this will happen in the future? If Blockchain capacity remains low, this could be a real pain in the head for the average person using BTC on a daily basis. I know such a prediction is insane, but if there's one thing I've learned about crypto is that nothing is impossible.

Thoughts? Huh

Of course it's possible for that to happen, right? With Bitcoin, many didn't believe that it would be $1300 each, but what happened? It was even surpassed, and its ATH was around 69k each, and it just dropped again to the price now, which is between 26k and 27k.
The only question mark is: when will it happen? This is the question that no one can answer at the exact time, but most of us who are Bitcoin enthusiasts believe that this is really possible; we just don't know if we are still alive or not.
