422  Economy / Economics / Re: US Customs and Border Protection Discovers 14 Blockchain Use Cases on: November 13, 2017, 09:16:11 PM
An advisory committee to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is looking into the applicability of the blockchain and how it can be used within the agency.
According to a published report, the working group was established by the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC) in September. It was initially set up by the COAC and the Customs and Border Protection to determine issues relating to new technologies or the advancement of existing technologies, which will have an impact on trade.
The group came up with 14 proposed use cases. They included ideas such as capturing and keeping track of partnering government agencies licenses, permits, certificate of origin reporting and free trade agreement product qualifications, carnets and bonded movement tracking.
Then this is a good step for U.S government that will merge to blockchain. the movement of every transaction is a big changer coz the security features of blockchain is highly recommended by many. they called it golden treasure ledger.
423  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: November 13, 2017, 07:21:46 PM
It all depends from country government, what kind of plans they have for their economy and development their infrastructures. Gasoline will never go down, it is profitable for any government to raise its price for getting more demand, and also same government get procents from it, they raise taxes on the extraction of minerals, they also increase excise taxes on gasoline. Electric cars will soon replace at least half of cars which runs on gasoline or gas, but gasoline price will always rise.

This might be life changing event in the history were all gas car company will switch to electric cars. this make the economy will grow better more infrastructures will be develop and all oil mining companies started to loose.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: November 13, 2017, 07:02:27 PM
I'll still support Ethereum even though their devs are noob as hell coz they didn't even change yet, this big switch of proof-of-work mining with its much-anticipated and still-experimental proof-of-stake system. i think if Ethereum will implement Proof of stake then the price must goes up!
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 08, 2017, 10:43:32 PM
Nice one, it's already show that if you have 10 or 20 bitcoin now you are a big guy now that the price of bitcoin is over $7000/BTC then think about when the the price will hit $10K and you have 20 bitcoin then you will become bigger guy. I know bitcoin will bring many people from being thousands level to millionaires.

50 coins at $20k would do the trick of bitcoin millionnaire status,

or 33 coins at $30k

or 21 coins at $47,620

Good luck to all of us Bitcoin believers in reaching our targets both in terms of our personal BTC accumulation level goals that work for our finances and the price appreciation that is needed to help us in reaching our goals.

Yes agree with you mate Bitcoin has a long journey to be progress. while learning some basic info about bitcoin the whole world is asking what's with bitcoin why it keeps pumping? and after 2 to 3 years later it would be different..

Maybe I used to believe to that mate,  but I ma not that consistent on how others think that they already reach that goals. Because in my own idea as long as bitcoin will continue to rise of its value, my mindser won't be change to think of that I am satisfied and say goals is reached. Our investment can inspire us to help us make our goals to be achieve for better future.

429  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is a Bitcoin whale? on: November 08, 2017, 09:16:01 PM
Mega early adopters or already fiat millonaires with 100000+ BTC can move markets at will, specially under cooperation. They can rig the market if they all act in sync, thats why we need price crashes, to scare all those lucky individuals holding too much money and spread out the wealth across individuals.

I think a miniwhale is anyone with more than 1000 BTC. Alone can't do much, but a group of them can set trends.

I know a few people with over a 1000 coins, I've seen them start a 5-10% downtrend on Bitfinex with 4x margin back when that was available.

I think 1000 BTC is a whale now he can buy a private island property. bitcoin keeps on pumping and it's unstoppable we can't stop bitcoin because major adoption is happening around the globe. banks right now are emerging in blockchains

431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 07, 2017, 01:04:07 AM
Bitcoin is a digital asset and can be purchase online and price is going up and getting expensive compared to fiat money that has no value at all it's just paper that exist in this world. i will choose gold rather than fiat money for transaction, but now we'ere speaking technology so Bitcoin is the real money making an asset of all transactions.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: November 07, 2017, 12:48:38 AM
It is considered an asset at the end people will notice bitcoin is an asset, because e-commerce will merge to blockchain and it will give bitcoin a big impact in the digital world. hope bitcoin will be the world currency of the world
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Giants E-commerce start to accept BTC? on: November 06, 2017, 11:23:02 PM
Because its hyping in the internet and they see to it that the blockchain is very secured ledger that will keep their private assets, bitcoin is just a tool of a digital asset it will help them grow their business so E-commerce right now are emerging in blockchain.

435  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: November 06, 2017, 12:51:28 AM
People spreading  FUD news in the internet they want to attract Newbie so Big whales will buy more bitcoin. In business their are people who will grab you down so that's why they are not happy of the price of bitcoin coz it's pumping like no tomorrow
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may ban Bitcoin! on: November 04, 2017, 11:27:52 PM
I think its a FUD news. they want to crack down bitcoin. nonetheless their government are very corrupt they will ban bitcoin specially those trading exchanges. but for my opinion India is one of the best economy in Asia. some of my friends there wants to open a start up business using blockchain.

438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think IOTA can take over bitcoin? on: November 01, 2017, 10:36:11 PM
I believe in the technology of Iota but still on going development.. and few years from now Iota will surpass any crytocurrencies in the top 10. But i dont think Iota will surpass bitcoin. let's wait for another year
439  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: October 31, 2017, 11:40:52 PM
If they will create a token that will give a boost bitcoin to pay more taxes, creating digital wallets are far more important. but pretty sure it may or may not happen in the first first.
