Hard to find young players if you want to fix your opening slot. Almost everyone (Gill, Prithvi, Paddikkal etc) already playing for other teams and overseas players like Finch might be bit expensive, may be that's why they went for Robin Uttappa.
I guess CSK bought Robbie as a replacement player only because last year Ruturaj Gaikwod proved that he can open the innings so he will be opening along with Faf and the middle order of CSK already packed with Raina, Rayudu, MSD, Bravo and Jadeja but they miss someone who can bat as well as bowl-like Shane Watson or at least a proper middle-order batsman is needed for sure if CSK wants to shine like before.

I found some article and it seems CSK wants to buy those players.

3 players Chennai Super Kings might target in IPL 2021 auction
I don't think if they have enough money to buy guys like Smith and Maxwell. Their total cost is close to $3 million, unless they are expecting to buy them cheaply or virtually no bid war, which seems very unlikely.
That is why they might target Jason Roy and Ish Sodhi more particularly because these players are potential enough but not in good form so they won't be getting much interest from ither franchise and I guess 13Cr maybe enough to pack these players along with some young Indian talents.

423  Economy / Economics / Re: Vaccination Started in India | Impact over Indian Economy & World? on: January 23, 2021, 09:43:51 AM
Indian vaccine isn't enough good for human body because it is already reasons for death because of side effects. I mean it is not totally worked. But by this, we can decrease the panic which already spread out. We are honoured to the Indian government who sent their vaccine for Bangladesh, maybe other countries will also get this too very soon as per their foreign policy.

Do you have any proof for this? I understand that you are from Bangladesh. Your country also received prioritized vaccine supplies from India. And also, you need to understand that although the mass-production is happening in India, the vaccine was originally invented by Oxford/Astra Zeneca. So if you believe that the "Indian" vaccine is not good enough for the human body, then you should get the same from Pfizer or Moderna.
Media also says that side effects after having the vaccines are common which includes a lot of health conditions and also there are few cases that are not reported by media which I mentioned earlier in my post in this thread and also there are some videos that are spreading virally on the social media about government officials are refusing to take the vaccines or they simply give pose to take photos without injecting actual medicine into their body.
424  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to buy and to store bitcoin on: January 23, 2021, 02:24:30 AM
1. How to buy directly, not to be on a trading website.
2. How to store it.

If you don't want to use any centralized trading website then you have decentralized p2p trading platforms which can be helpful to buy bitcoin from someone directly via bank transaction or other means of payment where you no need to worry about escrowing funds.

Or you can use Currency exchange to buy bitcoins anonymously from fellow forum members but don't forget to escrow the funds since the amount you are looking to buy is not small with the current market price

To store bitcoins on your mobile I suggest you to download electrum from https://electrum.org/#download and note down the private keys.
425  Economy / Economics / Re: Vaccination Started in India | Impact over Indian Economy & World? on: January 22, 2021, 04:02:45 PM
I don't think so because other countries have already started their vaccination especially those countries that developed the vaccine. But since India is also a manufacturer of the vaccine like those countries who also developed it such as US and China, we bought those vaccines from their country and obviously it's an advantage for their economy.

It'll help also the economy because they will now recover their production rate from 50% to 100% that will also develop the economy.

Many countries that found the vaccines are not producing them, mostly they order with a country like India because they are capable of producing more vaccines.

In 2021, India is likely to manufacture 3.6 billion dosages of 6 different types of covid 19 vaccines and China still lacks behind India but US is likely to produce more vaccines than any other country.

Of course, manufacturing will help the economy to help a bit but it's not going to be a considerable amount to tackle the crash from covid.

Auction coming next month so they have some time to think, their purse is not big so young players seems obvious choice. It was 22ish crore before and they already bought Robin Uttapa for 3ish crore, chances are he's going to open for CSK. Jadhav used to be stroke player but now he's big liability due to age and fitness. In last season he was showing off his defense technique when CSK needed some quick runs.
Robbie, once he was a great player but he is not really looking good in the recent IPL and again CSK went for 35 year old player? Huh

Still CSK gt 6 slots and only one overseas slots in it, not sure which one they are going to pick up for overseas, my guess will be they need a good player in the middle order so they will go with the same weaker bowling attack. Roll Eyes
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet experience on: January 22, 2021, 10:40:11 AM
You usually have to add tokens manually to make them visible, good idea that you searched on explorer.
Normally it is not needed to add tokens manually in the trust wallet unlike other token supported wallet but on rare cases confirmed tokens may not be visible due to not updated codebase by the wallet devs so we can add manually too a token when it is not recognized by the wallets itself.

https://community.trustwallet.com/t/how-to-add-a-custom-token/213 this is the guide provided by the trust wallet itself for adding tokens.

OP, I guess the recipient also using the electrum wallet and its been said that the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain so ask the recipient to check again and it will be there for sure if still not then he is using the outdated version of electrum so there will be issues with server sync.

And also ask him to check whether there is green circle or red circle on the bottom left corner of the wallet, green means the server connected and if it is red then its not connected.

Lord Tewatia almost finished the Sheldon Cottrell's IPL career. After getting hammerd by Tewatia, poor guy didn't get the games and now Punjab released him. Hope he gets the new buyer.

Chennai going to do much better in this season as they are playing in India and this time they got virtually zero dead weight in their squad (Jadhav.Murli Vijay).

Will be happy if Chennai manages to get a few younger players. During the last tournament, more than half of their players were aged 35 and above (and that was the case even with Harbhajan Singh skipping the tournament). Jadhav and Vijay are a good players, but their playing style may not be suitable for T20. They need to get some top order players who can score at around 1.5-2.0 runs per ball.
CSK is about to rebuild its core team this time because its already said by MSD at the end of last season which was horrible except for the last few matches. Don't forget that Watto also retired so they need to find someone who can open the innings for them and also for the future years. Bowling department also getting weaker with CSK and I didn't see Imran Tahir's name in the released or retained list of CSK but I consider that he also will be released due to the age factor.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Liquidity on: January 21, 2021, 05:15:29 PM
only 21 million of BTC??
There are only 21 million BTC or one day more will be created if the community decides? Because at the rate that news appears of loss of private keys and BTC out of circulation ...
There will be no more bitcoin to be mined after 21 million, and it's been said that satoshi is Holding 1 million bitcoins which is unmoved for the last 10 years and also there is a rough estimation that 3 to 4 million bitcoins were lost which actually bought when bitcoin was the price at single and double-digit and the holders lost their private keys or hard disk crash, still 17 million bitcoin will be in the circulation.

431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 21, 2021, 02:37:29 PM
Rahane was informed even before the 4th test that he would be the captain only on a temporary basis. I agree that his captaincy was exceptional, but then Virat Kohli would simply refuse to depart with his position as the captain of the squad. And it will be wrong to make Rahane the permanent captain after just one series, although I would favor giving him more chances.
To tell you the fact, i never considered Kohli as a tactical captain, he has the aggression but that alone will not win you matches, you need to be a tactical captain to win matches in difficult situation. MSD was a tactical captain in the shorter format but he applied the same in Test and so he was not that successful in the later part of his captaincy. Kohli is leading RCB and even if they have a strong team i have never seen the team performing to their strength.

This is the first time i am seeing Rahane captaining a side and to win a series in Australia with a completely young team says a lot about his captaining skills and that too after getting humiliated and getting bowled out for just 36 runs with Kohli as the captain in the first match and to recover and Rahane leading from the front and scoring that century and then winning the series is outstanding.
In cricket, selectors give more priority to the player stats and individual performance as quality to captain a team but it is a completely different task in my opinion. One who can group every player into the same mindset in the dressing room and also in the ground should be the one to be considered.Anyway, none of the proposed things are going to happen, Rahane proved that he can so in the future if he got chances he may do it again.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 21, 2021, 06:35:00 AM
Bitcoin helps every one to get their freedom of spending their money so obviously poor people also get included into it. Remittance using bitcoin help to save a lot of money and time and while converting into the fiat people also going to pay their taxes when the limit exceeds and this also avoid the middlemen who mostly use the hawala money for illegal purpose.

People only thinking about earning bitcoin but they forgot that they can buy bitcoin with their savings money instead of depositing it into the bank account which is the think that keeps the people still poor even after they make more and more salary.

AFAIK I saw a member received a -40 merit but I can't find anymore the profile I forgot.

Only theymos can do it in case of merit abuse from the merit sources. But it can't be considered as negative merit he just reversing the merits awarded and it happened with a merit source when he announced that he will merit anyone who posts anything below his post.
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 20, 2021, 06:16:13 PM
Only 12 matches are not enough to find the real ability of a player in the test cricket and we are talking about the wall so the potential to play longer innings is much indeed than scoring runs which he proved. His first-class test average is above 40 for 80+ matches so for sure he is one of the batsmen born to become a test cricketer like Pujara.

That may be true. But I was pointing out the fact that Vihari managed to cement his place in the team despite inconsistent performance, while promising batsmen such as Karun Nair were dropped after just one bad test match. And there are several youngsters out there, such as Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer, who are not even being considered for the test squad.
But this is 11 men sportsen game so not everyone is going to get their chances even if they are deserved to be one. And it is not good idea to swap players for every series because need a permanent team then only their mindset will sync together and can perform much better by understanding the pros and cons of their fellow team player.

Anyone updated about the side effects of vaccinations in India in their first phase?

https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics-and-nation/coronavirus-news-and-updates-live-january-16/liveblog/80295862.cms

Here you can find 52 people found with side effects after taking their first dosage of covid19 vaccine and one in it is a severe case and the patient admitted to ICU and lost her consciousness. But can't find any update about the side-effects after Jan18. Government is trying to hide anything from their people?
436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bank withholding funds? on: January 20, 2021, 03:19:12 PM
You can transact any amount of fiat into your bank account and there will be no problem with it as long as you are reporting and paying the taxes so if your bank holds any amount then possible reasons are transacted suspicious amount into your account which could be a smaller amount but still they can freeze if the source of money involved in shady activity

Or simply to update your KYC documents and this is easier when you reach the bank and give necessary details.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 20, 2021, 07:19:31 AM
About the next wall, why not Vihari? He just proved that he can able to bat and bat and bat at the strike rate of 6 when faced 100 balls. Cheesy

Vihari's test average is not that great. A test batting average of 32.84 would be acceptable for teams such as Sri Lanka or Zimbabwe, but not for India. I am not downplaying his performance in the series against Australia, but his presence in the team has most to do with good connections with powerful people rather than good performance. The England series should be his last chance. If he still averages around 30, then he should be dropped from the team.
Only 12 matches are not enough to find the real ability of a player in the test cricket and we are talking about the wall so the potential to play longer innings is much indeed than scoring runs which he proved. 438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 20, 2021, 04:29:08 AM
Yes there would be a time when same mindset could go wrong and you might end with the draw or worse, lose a game from the winning position but this same technique going to win game and series in the Test Cricket every time. Pujara is 32 so he will serve India couple of more years from here. India should invest on such players more and keep this bread alive, We had Dravid now Pujara but who's next wall for India? Big question mark atm.
In any format of the cricket game, the batsmen should take the innings as deep as possible which having wickets in their hand then it is possible to score at more than 6+ if needed in the last 10 or 15 overs when 6 or more players yet to come. Batting on day 5 is not an easy task and Pujara did his job perfectly that is why other players can able to make strokes with the tiring bowling.

About the next wall, why not Vihari? He just proved that he can able to bat and bat and bat at the strike rate of 6 when faced 100 balls. Cheesy

Thank you, I was getting lost jumping through the process and I can't get Gemini to reply to why my account is still showing " Verification Pending".
It will take at least 2 to 5 working days for the verification process to get completed, so don't be in a rush. Smiley

If you have been waiting more than a week then it is good to contact their support and ask for the reasons why there is a delay in the verification status but before sending any support tickets make sure you did everything right with the verification process.

Thanks for the reply.
So, is this the process?
Send payout from slushpool to Wallet, then send it to an exchange, from there I can sell it and send the money to my bank.

Thanks,
Yes this is the exact process should involve not only for cash-out purpose but first you need to get control of your mining rewards which is possible only with the wallet.

Trading cryptos to fiat is another topic for that lot of options are available depends on your demand.

For example, if you want to get the best prices and no waiting time but willing to compromise your KYC documents then you can choose Localbitcoins or Paxful but you are concerned about your privacy then choose decentralized P2P which is already mentioned above.
