421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a chance that ALTCOIN will Replace Bitcoin In Future? on: January 24, 2018, 08:00:05 AM
There are new technologies, that will have their niche. Each crypto does a different thing, but Bitcoin is the most tested, the longest, and everything in crypto goes through Bitcoin. If there is one to replace Bitcoin I think it is Ethereum long term, but there are many contenders. Also Ethereum is a different thing actually.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Cryptocurrency Trading Ban, South Korea Government Confirms on: January 24, 2018, 06:27:48 AM
Great newsssss Grin Grin. The South Korean government will pursue the crackdown on anonymous cryptocurrency trading accounts and will punish market manipulation, money laundering, and fraudulent transactions through joint investigations participated by the local law enforcement and financial authorities. It is the best news for all cryptocurrenciy users.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO ETN HAVE FUTURE...? on: January 22, 2018, 09:32:53 AM
No one can answer this question with 100% certainty. Even the early investors/adopters of Bitcoin did not believe in its future back in 2009. That’s why there are so many memes & stories of people selling their Bitcoins for a few pizzas or at a “high” of $10, only to deeply regret it now. Everyone is a brilliant investor in hindsight.I don’t know if Electroneum will go to $1, $3, or down to $0. And I’m not delusional enough to believe it can do no wrong and is the “next best thing”. But based on what common sense tells me and what I’ve already seen from the reaches of their name, my bet is I’ll be making money off my investment in the short term.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of Cloud mining? on: January 22, 2018, 09:02:46 AM
Cloud mining or cloud hashing enables users to purchase mining capacity that of hardware in data centres. Bitcoin cloud mining enables people to earn Bitcoins without bitcoin mining hardware, bitcoin mining software, electricity, bandwidth or other offline issues. For example, Pay per GHash/s would be 0.0012 BTC / GHs for a 24 month contract.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: January 21, 2018, 05:07:13 PM
Transaction fees are critical to any cryptocurrency ecosystem. If the costs are too high to send transactions, users will look for alternatives. Bitcoin Cash is clearly cheaper than Bitcoin right now. However, that doesn’t mean BCH is better than other currencies by definition. In fact, it is the more expensive altcoin when compared to Ethereum and Litecoin right now. This is another interesting “flippening” aspect, to say the very least.I really bitcoin transaction fees are fair in contrast of other cryptocurrencies.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading banned in India ?????? on: January 21, 2018, 11:26:17 AM
Bitcoin is neither legal nor illegal in India. The difference is that if it’s a legal tender that means it is recognized in the country as a currency and can be freely accepted for payments and settlements. On the other hand, if it is not a legal tender that means that it may not be accepted for making a financial transaction. For instance, gold or a share certificate. These are not legal tenders but some people may accept it as they see value in it.We often confuse about this matter. But the matter is that it is neither legal nor illegal in India.
427  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wiil bitcoin price raise up again? on: January 20, 2018, 05:37:42 AM
I think we're going to see bitcoin hitting the $60,000 mark, but I also think we're going to see bitcoin hitting the $5,000 mark. Actually it is the nature of Bitcoin. After rallying to a record high above $19,800 midway through December, bitcoin prices collapsed last Friday. The digital currency lost a third of its value in a single day, briefly sinking below $11,000 before regaining some of the ground it lost.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Social Experiment on Bitcoin on: January 18, 2018, 11:54:54 AM
Bitcoin was created as a social experiment on alternative. Bitcoin is theoretically a “currency,” it is not being used as one (except for a very tiny portion). “Most of the bitcoin out there is being used as an investment and there is very little bitcoin available, and any bit of buying drives up the price, as there’s only a small amount money. There are a lot of limits to using bitcoin as a currency, and it is not being used, therefore, only a little bit of interest and drive the price up and it is creating a bubble right now in the society.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this right time to buy Bitcoin on: January 18, 2018, 11:30:29 AM
Yes, a bull market can make fools seem like geniuses and be very exciting, but I promise that odds are you will lose your money.Go take some time to learn about the technology. Read up on it, look into it. It’s moving fast. Learn about the scaling problems of bitcoin and the other coins. Dig into who is doing good development and who isn’t.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins do you like besides Ethereum? on: January 17, 2018, 06:00:35 PM
Many of these currencies claim to offer certain technical advantages over Ethereum. Other currencies are taking a whole new angle on digital currencies, trying not just to offer an alternative to cash, but also to offer software development opportunities, social media platforms, and other services powered by Blockchain. Besides this I like Ripple and Litecoin.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Events like Bitconnect will bring negative trust in Crypto community ? on: January 17, 2018, 11:23:42 AM
Bitconnect has formally closed its lending platform and cryptocurrency exchange following warnings from Texas and North Carolina regulators. The Bitconnect Coin (BCC) digital currency is down 87% today and 93% from its December 29 high of $437. At press time, BCC is trading for just $30.It will make some impact in the Crypto community obviously.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2018, 09:21:52 AM
The credit for other reasons for the absence of women in its technique is highly controversial, as this year Google Engineer James Damore discovered his crisis this year. Despite its initiative, it has been designed to encourage girls in the code, and the number of female computer science undergraduates in the UK has actually declined in the past 10 years. This tech industry is naturally dominated by the causes of men, including that the boys are being offered for gadgets at a young age, its prominence is only 16% of computer science undergraduates.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: January 12, 2018, 09:49:31 AM

434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining will ever stop ? on: January 12, 2018, 08:48:48 AM
ETH has some cool technological advantages, like the option to build your own cryptocurrency on top of the already existing network. I feel like the term "AWS but for blockchain" is quiet fitting.
If we compare it to games, it's like a game that has crazily good modsupport.
Also blocks are mined in 14s (hard coded, no matter how big the network is) instead of 8m, which provides a much faster network compared to BTC.
My crazy and dreamlike prediction is that at some point, people will be using ETH for all kinds of transactions without even knowing what it is.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg is looking into cryptocurrency ::) ::) ::) on: January 12, 2018, 08:34:53 AM
why not he?
The whole world is crazy about cryptocurrency. I think that he is afraid of the popularity of FB over cryptocurrency Grin Grin. Moreover Zuckerberg isn’t the only Facebook executive expressing interest in the space. David Marcus, the company’s vice president of messaging products, joined the board of Coinbase Inc., one of the largest crypto exchanges, late last year.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What's the next good buy price for eth? on: January 12, 2018, 08:04:16 AM
Just looking for other opinions.
437  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is an asset or currency. on: January 11, 2018, 09:24:48 AM
Bitcoin does not have the fundamental attributes needed to be a currency as it is a string of code generated by complex algorithms... But I do not deny that virtual currencies have technical value and are a type of asset. There seems to be a greater possibility that they [cryptocurrencies] will become central to our financial lives.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Can i transfer funds from coinbase to gdax?? on: January 11, 2018, 07:55:58 AM
Please tell me the full procedure.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / DIGITEX token sale starts January 15th on: January 09, 2018, 05:09:00 PM
Digitex is a commission-free futures exchange with its own native cryptocurrency, the DGTX token.
Traders speculate on the price of Bitcoin against the US dollar, but their trading profits and losses are paid out in DGTX tokens. This means that traders need DGTX tokens to enter a trade, and this creates demand for DGTX tokens from traders.
Digitex covers the cost of running the exchange by creating a small number of new tokens each year instead of charging transaction fees on trades. Commission-free futures markets on a stable, fast and secure trading platform will attract large numbers of traders who must buy DGTX tokens to participate, creating increased demand for DGTX tokens that offsets the small inflationary cost of creating new tokens.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Watch out OMG. Its gonna exploade soon :) on: January 08, 2018, 08:56:16 AM
OMG is a great project, and I have a lot of confidence in the team and tech.
I've been in it since $4 and have a sizable investment. Expect to see more action in Jan and Feb as they have some partnerships announcements coming, rumored to be listed on KuCoin and have other roadmap milestones coming.
