I ran through all functions of BURST, but could not figure out how to get the value of SCOOP of the current block.

Can anybody enlighten me, please!

Another interesting read in relation to ethereum:

http://cointelegraph.com/news/114939/ethercoin-price-skyrockets-as-ethereum-confirms-launch

I bit from CCN's headline in January this year: "Cryptocurrency BURST Makes Smart Contracts a Reality, What Happened to Ethereum?"

In my opinion this would be the most important AND most likely the best part to promote BURST.
However, for now, AT is not for average Joe to setup. Not even a manual exists! Or a working cooking receipt, that you just could follow it and figure it out.

If I buy a load of 3 Tb HDD and I split them between several rigs, will it be considered as all mine on the pool or will I need to create several account ? It's better if they are all conspired as mine, right ?

Take care that you do not use duplicate hard disks.

Unfortunately, no there is no peerexplorer. First aid can be the peers you can rip off the web wallet at https://wallet.burst.city

Burst.MiningHere.Com has been updated (or is in the process).

Features includes:

1. Fits all screen sizes

2. Login

 After successfully login

2.1 you can change your settings:
add / remove miners under your account
add / remove / split payout addresses (not necessary miner BURST addresses)
edit payout threshold (at least 250 BURSTs)
        edit estimated payout time(s)
edit % of payments among your payout addresses (each has a minimum threshold of 250 BURSTs)
 2.2 Look at your statistics

3. Register

3.1 Get a communication BURST address
You can use an existing or create a new BURST address for this. This BURST address must have at least a balance of 1,000 BURSTs!
 3.2 Choose a Nick name
Anything with more than 10 characters is fine. However, it may NOT start with "BURST-" and may not include a space. Trailing space(s) will be ignored.
3.3 Add your communication BURST address
3.4 Click on "Get Key" button

The system will check:
        * balance of this BURST address. If balance is less than 1,000 BURSTs, the registration will be rejected.
        * if your Nick name is already in use, the registration will be rejected.
        * if your Nick name includes space(s), the registration will be rejected. Trailing blanks are ignored.
        * if your Nick name has less than 10 characters, the registration will be rejected.

After successfully registration, a key will be sent to your communication BURST address.

// work in progress, more to come //

-[AT Launch announcement]-

I have decided to start making use of ATs, thus showing what they are capable of, and actually using some of the amazing tech that BURST has to offer. I have officially launched a new AT that will do the following...

1. The AT will collect all funds it is given, for a period of about 3 months.

2. The AT will hold these funds, acting as a temporary 'burn' address of sorts, locking the funds away so that no one has access to them.

3. Upon about the 3rd month, this AT will start shooting out 25k BONUS PAYOUTS to BURST.NINJA pool / month! This will slowly redistribute the funds back to the community in the form of bonus payouts to burst.ninja pool, and will also help to compensate for the decreasing block reward, giving miners more money later!

I think it is a fun and cool idea, and if it works out, I will be setting up another, so there will be multiple 25k donations to bonus address monthly Smiley The name of the first AT is called BonusNinja, you can donate to it by sending BURST to this address...

BURST-NPTQ-MQPM-FACZ-H8SV5

I have started the AT and sent a test donation of 150 BURST.

The miners on burst.ninja thank all who decide to contribute! Let us continue to use the amazing technology of BURST!

... and if you make a "HOW TO " document about that, many others could follow your good example. THAT would be finally something to promote!

Let us all ignore Elmit; it's very easy to avoid his bullshit:

Just push the button marked by the perfectly red oval in the picture - and he does not exist anymore! Smiley For those who do not want to do that, please do not cite him.

Thanks!

Regarding crowetic's comment: Just a reminder of how we together to make this thread so much better by ignoring Elmit's crap. If everyone would push that button, we can make a man and his mission disappear.

Remember, THAT is the way to promote BURST!

But yea, the coin is far from dead, ...

... about 50 Satoshi far away!

Any PR to turn it around?

The problem with this wallet is, that after you started the wallet the whole blockchain will be also loaded what takes several hours. Because of that you will find unter www.burstcoin.de the AIO Wallet (AIO Brieftasche) for download. Here is the blockchain in the download and you can start directly without waiting.

There is a Windows port by dawallet (great job) which also includes AT, Lottery and Crowdfunding.

Just a reminder of how to save this thread from going from excellent to totally crap.

To the PR department: Feel free to qoute this every three pages or something, would give it more credibility.

That must be the best way to promote BURST.
Obviously nothing about BURST to promote!

looks like http://burstcoin.eu/ is already down? auth required

After failing to blackmail Smaxer, Elmit made a BS complaint to smaxer's ISP that resulted in the site being suspended. Elmit, out to destroy Burst, one act at a time ....

H.

As usually, adding BS comments without any proof.

Burst Windows Wallet 0.1.6 out now!

Burst Windows Wallet 0.1.6 out now!

Updates:
 - Additional information about Market Cap, Price
 - Crowdfunding and Lotteries are available as local and online version (so it's fully functional even if java is failing (again))
 - Bugfixes
 - New style

https://github.com/dawallet/burstwindowswallet

or

https://sourceforge.net/projects/burstwindowswallet

If you use the old version, it's enough to replace Burst_Wallet.exe

Excellent job!
Not even the Web based version is that advanced!
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: July 13, 2015, 04:33:58 PM
You completely mis-understand!
First was all fine, well there was a pool with many names, many up and more down times.
I tried to help them, but they did not want my help. Even Uray said, that this cannot work what they want to achieve.

What does this even mean?

It means that they have setup a pool which did not work. The first try was on a dynamic IP, not the best choice for a server. It was also a Windows setup, since they could not handle a Linux flavour.
Uray pointed out that in his opinion a "backup" server as they planned cannot work.

Waiting for a workable pool and a customer on hand who wanted to invest, I setup my own pool. I had no problem. Pointing that out started the war.
Now there are two pools.

No Elmit, you have many problems with your pool, that is the whole issue. The problems with your pool were pointed out on more than one occasion and frankly none of the evidence is on your side of the story. What you did is engage in ad hominem attacks and have shown nothing about your pool except your claims of it working perfectly. There is no war, just you trying to make one.

Problems were said, but not pointed / proofed. I did look up and did not find any of the repeated false claims.

Since you mention Uray, he himself pointed out that his payout code is not reliable, the community improved on it afterwards.

Good for the community!!!

Seeing that the PR team is making literally tens of documents at one point and tried all of them at once to promote.
I was then invited to join the PR team, which I hesitated, but at 3 am I still send in my application. I was refused. Honestly, I was happy about it. I cannot run my own pool and promote another one.

This is completely incorrect. You were never invited, you sent your application of your own volition.

Oh, I was, ... I cannot remember who invited me to send the application in.

Additionally, as pointed out many times before, this was not an issue of promoting any pools but of BURST as whole. So your claim of 'conflict of interest' is weak at best. Frankly, it sounds like a lame excuse.

I can stand that! Seeing so many problems on the pool setup I had also not much trust in the team.

I am constantly attacked for anything I say, because they are a group. I am an elephant, I have a thick skin.

As many of us, I do BURST on the side line. My day-job goes first. From my day-job I live.

You try to make this out as a personal attack and garner sympathy in a 'poor little me all alone vs big bad them' manner.
This is simply not correct. You have been called out for actual problems and little to no technical expertise which you so profess, with, I repeat; a mountain of evidence against you.

Huh?  Whatever you say, I can stand that!!!

I have stayed out of this whole debate as I deem it unprofessional and poor practice to engage in such, however, this time it has gone on long enough.

Elmit, if you care about BURST please stop with your politics. We have agreed to do so quite a while back, yet you continue to instigate.

Stop attacking me. Accept what I say, or just ignore it.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: July 13, 2015, 04:12:24 PM
Elmit, I am a physician (psychiatrist) and just by reading your posts I can tell you have some sort of mental illness. For a proper diagnose, we'd need to meet for an investigation, but a number of conditions fit your behavior very well.

I am not a physician, I am not a psychiatrist. Tell me what else have you learned? And is it related to BURST?
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: July 13, 2015, 04:08:31 PM
The report was done, since you said, that you will NOT let you pressure to have that page (required by law) and I should take actions. I followed your advice!

Fact is that you didn't ask me to add a imprint like normal people would do. Instead you forced me to add asap a imprint or your lawyer will send me a notice about 1000 - 25000 euro. I bet you dont even have the money to pay a lawyer and in germany we have something that is called "Rechtsschutzversicherung für Privatleute und Unternehmen".

Also you said I have to change my pool payout because nobody understands this data. Do you really think you have the permission to conduct me? You are the only one who don't understand this page. And everybody knows your pool is shit and you steal mining rewards from users. Instead fixing the payout bug you have to hide pools payout page and link to burstcoin.eu address page. Nice bugfix, trustful business...

I wrote it in German to you, because I thought you would understand that easier!

There is a law you have to fulfill. PUNKT!
I do not know why it is difficulty for you to add the Impressum, while burstcoin.de could. That sounds that you want to hide something. Anyway the law requires it.
The hint to explain your data has been questioned here many times. EVEN I HAD TO ASK THAT (a half year ago).

You do not need to close your site, you have chosen to do so. Fulfill the law is all  you need to do. You can move the data to another server, is also fine.

Good you point out stealing. Do you know that there is a block chain. Please proof your stealing argument. I mean PROOF not repeat a photoshop or text piece produced by Headache.

I removed the link as ALL OTHER POOLS HAVE NO LINK EITHER. So why is it wrong when I adjust it to the same as other pool?
I fixed a lots of the pool software, but honestly it was not much to fix, it was just to set it correct.

I gave many times the hints where the setting is wrong, I admit with your page. The key is in balance.

On another note, I get a popup asking for username/password and stating "page suspended" on burstcoin.eu. For God's sake, don't let Burst's best site close!

Site suspended because of Elmits report. Im done with Burst. Let Elmit our new and only one exlusive PR member bring new glory to Burst. He have such brilliant ideas and is a solid dev Kiss

Or maybe someone try to get cheap coins from incoming dumps or coin is already dead. Who knows, who cares? I would say coin is dead because no active devs left and PR team is dead/destroyed.

I was refused by the PR team, and I am glad.

I really do not understand why a simple Impressum page makes you mad. Your server is in Germany, you have to do that!

The report was done, since you said, that you will NOT let you pressure to have that page (required by law) and I should take actions. I followed your advice!

From what I see, you got refused and got sour.
Submitted false claims to authorities. Got bursts site down. Result? - Hurt community over selfish disgusting EGO ride.
Sick.

The law in Germany requires him to put a link [Impressum]. If this page is missing a punishment of 5,000 to 25,000 Euro is the result.
He prefers NOT to do that page, so he needs to close. I don't know what he wants to hide by not revealing his NAME, ADDRESS and VAT number (in case he has a company). See a sample at http://burstcoin.de/impressum.htm

A good replacement is https://block.burstcoin.info
