421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bounty Hunters also considered Investors? on: September 27, 2018, 05:06:19 PM
Well, i do get your point just that your assertion is a bit skeptical. Ideally, projects do specify when they're talking about those who'll receive the dividends (whether investors or non investors). Anyways at most times it's referring to any token holder. If they don't do that their tonens won't have any value and they wouldn't be able to get any competitive volume and prices at various exchanges. And pertaining to that, whether you're an aidropee, bounty hunter, investor or purchased at an exchange, you'll be good to go.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is anonymity the future for bitcoin??? on: September 27, 2018, 04:58:00 PM
The anonymity is still there. Well, that's what I'd say if I'm asked. It's been there ever since Bitcoin,s inception and it's still around. I do say so because even though the blockchain publicly registers transactions and related activities, it however does not give the identity of the owner of the address and so the anonymity sense still lives. However, to get your money back in Fiat may require you to disclose your identity depending on the medium you'll use, and probably your jurisdiction.
423  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BB Code Learning (for beginners) on: September 24, 2018, 07:28:58 PM
Great job buddy. There are so many icons and codes up there when you're typing but not all of us (especially newbies like us) do get the concept. That's a great explainer you've done. Will try testing them more and will let you know and help out if I find anything interesting that i want to know. Thanks and i hope newbies will learn from this as well.
424  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Bitcoin helps a normal person on: September 24, 2018, 07:25:31 PM
I am confused about the title of your topic and its content. I don't really get what you're implying from the topic title. Anyways, that's a nice step by step guideline you've given in the basic steps of entering the cryptospace. Good job, and I hope you'll be continuing giving education as such. Keep it up!!
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin control the market? on: September 20, 2018, 12:37:58 PM
Oh yeah! definitely so. the ideal thing here is that people measure the survival of crypto with Bitcoin. So when Bitcoin is mooning everyone thinks the whole of crypto wil go on well and so they cane in huge, and it's thebsame vice versa. Also, it's true that every coin has its market fluctuations but the deviation is always attached to the price movements of Bitcoins. Again, the dominance of Bitcoin tells everyone how trusted people are in BTC.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal? on: September 20, 2018, 12:32:16 PM
Well, ideally not all countries have tagged Bitcoin to be bad. There are countries that have given a nice support by ignoring and just warning and others are also thinking about bringing in regulations to keep everyone safe. So I'd say in the future things might go in well and fr us. And back to your point, it's true! Bitcoin has helped to execute so many types of transactions and even the alts are also doing well.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dealing with Bitcoin or Crypto haters. on: September 20, 2018, 12:29:25 PM
At first when the market was in a good condition, we used to show people our portfolios first before educating them. We made them see the earning aspect of crypto. Anyways, after all that's what they're interested in. Later you take your time to go through the applications amd benefits of Bitcoin/crypto/blockchain. I like your method as well. They're all good. Thumbs up.
428  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: September 17, 2018, 10:49:36 PM
Hackers are everywhere in the internet and not just in crypto. Your funds are secure so far as you follow the major security guidelines given by the website or portal you save your coins. Strong passwords, 2FA authentication to name a few are some of the security measures you shouldn't play wiith. You should also be very careful the kind of people you work with on crypto. Crypto is not regulated in many countries and so it's very risky to invest anyhow.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: September 17, 2018, 10:44:18 PM
Well, then the foolishness has to be well interpreted. Ideally one can be called foolish but not to mean it in a harsh way. A lot of factors can make somebody make a decision not good and hence the person may be tagged as being "foolish" at that instance.
People say poverty is a disease, whereas others say only lazy people are poor. So it depends on the context where poverty is used, that'll either classify the person as being foolish or not.
430  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: September 17, 2018, 09:01:59 PM
Well, I'm yet to find such businesses. Ideally any business that I've seen or heard of integrating Bitcoin doesn't go solo on Bitcoins. They do businesses along with fiat currencies. But anyways in future if we get the popularity of BTC to te outer masses, such businesses along with others based on other cryptos will definitely be a success.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You Can only find these in crypto (FUNNY AND FACTUAL) on: September 17, 2018, 08:58:16 PM
On your last point about the investors, investors used to gain tremendously  from projects but times have changed and it is quite unfortunate there are many scam projects that are causing financial losses to investors.
Good argument you have raised. So the question is that why then do they sell their investment way lower than what they bought or invested. Some projects even go to the extent of delaying the payments of bounty and bonuses but still investors dump their own coins. Anyways there are some projects that have the investors with positive vision and so they do place proper orders. It's so funny and sad that it happens that way.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / You Can only find these in crypto (FUNNY AND FACTUAL) on: September 17, 2018, 01:34:22 PM
Too many “shit” to deal with-  The crypto ecosystem as an emerging venture in the digital world has so many different things developing. Since there are new things happening each day, people find it difficult to grasp important messages and coins to follow. The too many shit comes in various aspects- too many coins, too many exchanges, too many telegram groups to join discussion, too many messages to read, too many new projects to follow, too many new projects to work for, too many bounty campaigns to manage and too many more.

Constant same questions in crypto forums- one other hilarious thing that happens only in crypto is the number of same questions that you will find at crypto exchanges. People keep on asking same questions every day and commenters also keep answering same thing each day with some even answering double always. no wonder Bitcointalk keeps on introducing tight rules for posting and ranking up.

Newbies joining everyday- well, we can somehow call this a fact rather than saying it is funny. The question is, are they old members posing as newbies or they are indeed newbies. Well, the latter is very good for the crypto community development.

The hub of excellent lies- if you are looking for a place where there are so many lies around, bet you would want to visit any crypto gathering. The rise of crypto came along with the rise of scam and fraud. The popular portal of this is the use of sugar-coated whitepapers. These documents help fraudsters to tell huge lies and give hue promises just to lure investors to throw their money away.

Common language is common- this part will be funny to you if you have been in crypto for quite sometime. For instance, read the replies for project's tweet, or eerrrm!!, facebook posts, or errrmmm!…maybe a new telegram airdrop group and you will find out the number of commonly common language in the crypto space. The repeating messages you find are nice project, good project, when moon, when lambo, when exchange etc… Grin  Grin

Getting “fooled” syndrome- well, I named this as such because crypto is the place where you can make a vow and change your mind just before you could finish saying your vow. You can vow to sell any coin you get as soon as they list on exchange but just before you could, the market fundamentals will pressure you to change your mind and say something else. Also you can have your portfolio gradually decreased to zero if you’re not very very craeful. You will be gradually fooled by the market if you don’t make firm decisions.

Facts are not factual- volatility in crypto cuts across all the ecosystem and not just the market. If you want one of the most unpredictable arena, join crypto. A typical example is what just happened to the market this year, people have predicted since the beginning of the year but still there is no guarantee of a proper market season coming. The fate of crypto is unknown and it is in the hands of the unknown.

Investors actually don’t want profits- another funny but sad thing is that in crypto, people invest and then would want to earn less than they invested. It happens when new coins get listed on exchanges. On the first day of trading, investors will actually sell coins below the price they bought. This is so funny and sad but honestly, it happens in crypto.

Do you have any i didn't include? Let s share ideas and facts about what we observe in crypto so that we can all learn from it.  Grin
433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Bull Run!!! on: September 16, 2018, 08:36:47 PM
I think the bull run for this year is very skeptical. Almost every prediction has not been happening but well, I still believe in what I believe and so i won't losse hope yet. Who knows, maybe tomorrow might be the start of a new rally or not. Ot might take some months more or years to get there but I'll always be happy if crypto is still alive and haven't collapsed. That's my ultimate aim and dream.
434  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Simplest Question: Where do I deposit my US$? on: September 16, 2018, 08:12:33 PM
Oh there are so many portal for you to learn. I think what you need to do is to read FAQS first whenever you enter any websites. There you might fund answers to some of the most commin questions that are asked at the website. Also you can go to the beginners section of this forum to learn more about anything you want.
435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin's daily price fluctuations getting smaller and smaller? on: September 16, 2018, 08:04:50 PM
that shows the market is stabilizing and we'll be good to go in some few days/weeks ahead. The expects and analysts have been saying off late that it seems the masive sell offs have gradually declined and though the swings are there (perhaps this is crypto), sell offs don't occur on the large scale. This is good for us. Let's hope for the best.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We'll continue to crash until we do this! on: September 16, 2018, 08:01:33 PM
]rarely do projects that develop their projects to completion, I actually want to use their platform but the fact is that the development time of their projects is very long.
well, that's true somehow
And that's why many people don't follow projects up to the latter part. They just promise ti bring tbe heavens down ti people and latter they wnd up not coming with anything solid. In the future, many of these projects wont happen again as ICO participation is gradually declining. It's also sad since this affects the good ones we have in the system.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / We'll continue to crash until we do this! on: September 14, 2018, 11:46:08 PM
Crypto has been offering so many good things to us but our activities kill this good intentions. ICOs have led to the establishment of many startup companies but we are not utilising them effectively. (well, there are still good projects around).

Ideally, apart from you and me, no one else trusts to use crypto platforms but what do we aim- only to make x1000 profits overnight. No wonder an investor will set the price of a coin for less than ICO price that he bought because probably he got a bonus that can help him get out with minimum gain/losses. As for bounty hunters, the case even worsens...

Yesterday a coin got listed, today too same, tomorrow will be another story but at the end every holder is expecting to make huge profits and get out. Have you ever wondered why you don't see comments like "nice project", " this is a good one", "this project has vision" and so much more in telegram groups after token sale? That is because they are all going to sell and leave the project. So who should make use of the coin? Someone at home who has never heard about crypto before??

Our duty is to use these platforms because no one is going to use them. We need to stop thinking about these overnight profits and create value for cryptos. If we do that, people will trust crypto, we'll grow faster and then our "hypothetical" profits can come to pass. If we don't start creating value and we keep on thinking about huge profits, what happens next?, we fall!!

Peace!!! Cool

438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can a blockchain system be destroyed? on: September 13, 2018, 10:54:46 PM
Your question is somehow vague. Blockchain system gas so many features and so I don't know what you're particularly referring to. Anyway let's get this straight that blockchain is internet, or perhaps part of the Internet and it forms part of coding and so I don't know how it's going to be destroyed. Well, unless perhaps someone destroys the internet and coding, else it is there so far as the the former is there.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / There is no Bull or Bear Season! on: September 13, 2018, 10:49:10 PM
My topic is a bit dicey. One thing I have realized for my little experience and time in crypto is that there is no particular bull or bear season generally for the market. It all depends on when you join and that'll make you classify whether you're part of a bull or bear season.
For instance, someone who joined crypto yesterday or earlier this week without zero knowledge about this might think we are in the bull season because if he purchased last night, he would have made so much. Someone who joined early in the year might also look at this with a different perspective. In a nutshell, i mean your bull or bear season will depend on when you get into the market. What do you also think about this?
440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Bull Run!!! on: September 13, 2018, 03:31:47 PM
As for the bear season, it seems we're still there buddy. Prices haven't been encouraging at all and we're still struggling to soar higher than we're now. Anyways this correction we're in now may help provide better grounds for us in the future. Nothing remains at where it is forever, time shall surely change. We cannot be bearish forever.
