No, I didn't get anything. Something may have installed a rouge certificate. Check your computer for any adware, also look through your installed certificates and look for anything suspicious.

I did a check on the domain name (cash-generation.com) and it appears to be unregistered. I checked the balances of my Bitcoin wallets and all my coins are there. Very strange. I'm using a shared wifi connection so perhaps there is something wrong with the router...

My connection is as usual smooth! Just check the URL is exactly the same as bitcointalk.org. I think there is no problem, just ignore the pop up window!

Hmm... It wasn't a popup window. The whole site just looked like that for a while.

That's weird, why would the domain be unregistered? I'm going to assume that the problem is going to be on your side, did you go through your installed certificates?

I'm running on a newly installed version of Windows with a newly installed version of Portable Firefox so I doubt it's my computer that's at fault. Could it be related to my router? I'm browsing on a shared wifi connection with about 12 other computers in the network.

Definitely won't be your router, there's a possibility that something may have crawled on from the other computers onto yours. Download trusteer rapport.  It helps a lot. It's encrypts all your data on wev pages you browse https://www.trusteer.com/ProtectYourMoney

Very nice...do you have a picture of the entire paper wallet?

This is my version of the old mining stocks from the early 1900s with a bitcoin twist

This is my second series , A one bitcoin Note... Under a BLACK LIGHT

I started a thread for discussion about my paper wallet certificates....

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1049428.msg11287791#msg11287791

BG4 I really like the last one. They're very eye catching. Are they printed on regular paper?

No.  The paper I use is an anti copy, high security paper... It has a feature that ..when you rub the paper with your finger.. the micro printing disappears .It will prints "Void Unauthorized copy" if it is scanned or copied..also micro threads embedded in the paper that is only seen under ultra violet lignting. Also the paper does not glow under a black light unlike regular copy paper... This is why the graphics pop so bright like they do..
The back of the paper has water mark lines that can be seen at just the right angle..ito stop cut and paste

Edit:  When I release the Mining stock certificate. The top pic.....It will also glow under a black light like the second pic does...

Pretty sofisticated, are you using Mirco Format's paper?
These are very beautiful, I hope to see them being produced soon, it's a most probable buy from me.
427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have 1 BTC to INvest on: May 07, 2015, 07:52:58 AM
3. Gamble, but it's not a good choice for "invest", it's high risk high return.

Don't gamble. That's not very good advice, gambling isn't about profiting, it's actually just a form of entertainment powered by money and since games are easy to beat you're going to find yourself getting greedy. Don't come near gambling especially when you've worked hard for what you earned.  It's easy to lose your money.

If you are only buying 1 btc, just store it in paper somewhere safe and forget about it for 10 years.

May be you will hit lottery some days.

Forgetting about it isn't such a good idea... just check on the price once in a while, but don't touch your coins.

He s got 1 BTC. How rich can he get with that? He needs to do something about it.
Hodl'ing. Although it doesn't seem like such a good idea now, but it could be worth a lot later on.

I left this topic for a few days, now I have an essay to read Cheesy. Thanks for the response. I like the idea of unique paper wallets. However, I'll look to see if I can be able to print it on the same type of paper used for cheques. Won't I have to print the private key on it myself though?  Would you guys not look upon that as a security issue?

I love physical Bitcoins and I would buy one if the price is right. If you need any help, you could contact bigtimespaghetti, he is/was working on a book about minting your own coins.

Thanks, I'll contact him soon.
430  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I am lucky guy! Bitcoin made me rich! {bitcoin roulette experience} on: May 06, 2015, 06:18:16 AM
Do not keep that large of an amount on an online service. You won't want to be goxxed or have another incident like input.io strike again. Rather buy a trezor or a leder wallet and store your coins. The current value of bitcoin is low, so don't convert to fiat just yet. Hold onto it as a trust fund.

432  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is cloud mining reliable? on: May 02, 2015, 07:49:06 PM
No, it's not reliable at all.

If you do make a ROI, which happens very seldom, it's going to take quite some time for you do so. Also if a profit was to be made after that, you'll be looking at only a few satoshis after that. Most of the time the cloud miner that you're looking to invest it is probably a well thought out ponzi scheme like pbmining. In the end, it will fall.

I haven't tried scrypt and looking at the user above me, it seems promising, but in the end, it's still a cloud miner.
It's better for you to buy your own miner and when it can't pull anything more, sell it.
433  Economy / Digital goods / Re: wtb hero member on: May 02, 2015, 07:13:14 PM
As stated above - the price you're looking for is very low for a Hero member. I've seen a Senior Member go for 0.45btc, that had positive trust however.
You may want to increase your offering to 0.8-1.1 for what you're looking for.
434  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell Bitcoin HYIP Script on: May 02, 2015, 07:09:55 PM
The file size is suspiciously small. I doubt that it's the actual script, or if it is, it's probably just a 1 pager with never returning bitcoin addresses.

Is it a steam gift or an account which holds GTA V?

I know The Advantaged Yacht Charter and Sales has announced they accepted bitcoin back in 2013 some time. They have probably sold high end yachts for more than 500k.

439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would like better PHYSICAL storage? on: May 02, 2015, 06:00:44 PM
What I am asking is: would you be interested in a practical, cheap, superior way of storing Bitcoin physically?

Who wouldn't be storing their coins in such a way? Having it cheap and practical is what most of us look for.
You could laminate your paper wallet( well you're supposed to) and drop it off at your vault and have multiple copies saved with you.
Something else like the ledger wallet is pretty practical as well, unfortunately it only supports chrome. So you can't always use it on the go
when needed urgently.
